We went for the ATLA themed donuts. Donuts were incredibly cute and charming! We were pleasantly surprised to see that there wasn't a line and most of the donuts were still available around 11am on a Saturday. The donuts itself are super cute but the flavors are a hit or miss. The donut is a bit dense and the same exact donut, I wish they had different donut flavors. The only thing that's different is the icing colors and flavor and designs. Most of the icing was just sweet sugar and some of it was quite thin. The best flavors were the matcha jasmine and salted citrus. I wouldn't come out purposely for these donuts again but I'd stop by if I was around the area and there was a collab I wanted to see. It was my first time trying Moonbridge donuts after hearing about it from a friend and these donuts are the cutest, most asthetic donuts, I've ever seen. The attention to detail and decoration make them super Instagram worthy. My favorite donut was definitely the strawberry glaze donut since it tasted the most like strawberries. The ube donut just tasted like regular glaze with the smallest hint of ube flavor. I would say that the donut itself is pretty good. The dough is light and airy and the glaze is a basic sugar glaze but there is nothing super special about it. It's very much like a basic donut with very cute themed decoration on top! There's a lot to park in here but I suspect it was more crowded than usual since today is the first day of the Liliuhms colab with Moonbridge. I was able to park in the first spot I saw. Luckily they had a reservation system and I showed up around 9:40 for my 10am reservation. We got our reservation checked by an employee who asked for our name, reservation number, and number of people in the party. We ended up being here for about an hour but a majority of the time was for pics and merch. The corn milk hot chocolate and matcha corn milk latte were the best drinks to have in line and after. The matcha latte tastes like it got sweeter over time and not more diluted. This was my first time having corn milk but after this just put it in everything. Definitely get one set of all the donuts. My favorite was the cat bleppe donut but they were all unique and great in their own ways. I'll definitely keep an eye out on the next collabs Moonbridge participates in. read more

I was fortunate my sister could go pick up these absolutely adorable donuts. I'm a big fan of Liliuhms art, but sadly can't make the trek to the collab. That being said, the donuts are for sure stylish and on the pricier side, which makes sense given the designer nature of them. But I did find the flavor profiles a little disappointing. The bun donut was "bungo lassi" flavored (mango with cardamom), but I could only taste a hint of mango, I couldn't detect the cardamom at all. The green donut, Roscoe, is supposed to be pandan, strawberry wafer, crispy black sesame rolls, but I could barely taste a hint of pandan. The bleppe (cat with eyes) donut is supposed to be tangy orange flavor, and again, I could hardly taste the orange. Lastly the artist donut is supposed to be yuzu flavored, especially on the blue icing, but it tasted more like a light lemon flavor, but it was more obvious than the other donuts at least. In the end they all kind of tasted the same. I'm not a big fan of fondant so I didn't eat all of it, but I did try a bite or two of the fondant and it wasn't overly sweet either with a nice marshmallowy texture, so that was pretty nice. I can appreciate the donuts are not that sweet and they were soft, so the texture was nice. But I really wish the flavors were more apparent, especially given what you're paying for them. I'm not sorry to have tried them or to have supported an artist I really like, but I don't feel inclined to really go out of my way to buy any for another collab unless the flavors improve. But nevertheless I can appreciate the artistry, the soft texture of the donuts and the fact they are not overly sweet. I also think it's great they do collabs, especially with independent artists. A few notes to make after trying Moonbridge Doughnut Studio. I believe they have different themes every week and they do collaborations. I spent about $30 for three donuts and two specialty coffees. The Thai tea donut did not taste like anything and the coffee donut was okay. The only good donut was the apple fritter. As for the drinks, I was really excited to see they have Ube but both the Ube coffee and Ube matcha had no ube taste. I visited Moonbridge because I wanted to try the Studio Ghibli themed donuts. When I arrived at 8am on a Sunday morning the line was already out of the plaza and down the street and the wait ended up being around 2 hours 15 minutes. I knew this place was popular so I was prepared to wait, and I'm glad there were still some Ghibli themed donuts available by the time I ordered. When I purchased my donuts, I got one of each of the remaining designs which were the Soot Sprite, Bathing Duck, Ponyo, and No-Face donuts. They were all very cute and very aesthetic. However, I'm sad to say that I was pretty disappointed with the donuts. For each of the themed donuts, they are a plain donut with different icing on top. The flavors as described aren't very prominent because the icing is so sweet that it mostly tastes like sugar. The donuts themselves are fine, they're a bit on the doughier denser side, but after trying each of them, I felt like I was just eating a regular donut with icing, and for around $6 per donut, that felt like quite a lot. read more

We're addicted to corn milk here! We usually get corn milk and matcha corn milk every visit. I even have to bring my own bottle and ask to fill it up with matcha corn milk, so you know it's good. This donut spot is so cute! I found them off of instagram for their donut designs and I wanted to try some for myself. Passed here a few times and always told myself to stop by. The hours are a little funky because they close early so every time I do by, they are closed. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop but didn't realize it was about to close in 10 minutes. The girl in the shop was the sweetest. She let us know there was not a great selection since it was close to closing but there were some pretty cool options. I ended up getting the Spiderman and Mr. Smiley doughnuts. The One Piece themed doughnuts were fantastic! There's definitely some funky flavors that weren't to my taste, but a good number of "normal" flavors like cookies and cream as well. If themed doughnuts aren't your thing, they also had their fan favorite Vietnamese coffee doughnut and a classic chocolate frosted. The staff were super friendly and helpful and seemed to have the themed doughnut rush down pat. My sister in law recommended this donut spot and she is absolutely a donut connoisseur so this place did not disappoint! I love gourmet donut shops that experiment with unique flavors and combinations, so this was right up my alley. The actual dough itself was so light and fluffy - if you're a fan of brioche donuts like me then this is definitely perfect for you. I've been going to Moonbridge for a few months now, specifically for their themes that interest me most. I recall finding out about the crazy long lines when they first opened, so I was glad to find out they started taking preorders where you pay online to guarantee yourself a set of the week's theme. Look up their Instagram for more info, but you pretty much get 4 to 6 donuts for $30-40 + tax. The shop itself is decorated cute and whimsically. It's definitely on the smaller side, with only two small tables inside for customers. However, they do remove the tables when they invite other vendors to collab. You really don't have space to eat or relax so keep this in mind and research other places nearby where you can enjoy the donuts before they melt (because they will melt FAST). The donuts themselves are adorable and mostly true to pictures they post on their Instagram. The flavors are interesting... The buttered popcorn and matcha shortbread crumbs are my favorite whenever they have them. The fruity flavors are hit or miss. The base donut is the same; the only variation I've seen so far is when they make fritters. Eat them fresh for best results, because next day it definitely won't keep well. As mentioned, the glaze is so thick and wet, it will melt off pretty quickly in warmer temps depending on the flavor, so grab napkins and bring wipes. My biggest concern with this shop is customer service... Most of the employees lack basic customer service skills. They look generally annoyed with customers; I'd usually just chalk it up to an abnormally bad day, but it's been getting worse with each visit. Kind of feel validated after seeing the recent less than 5 star reviews, especially the ones criticizing the male staff member. Most adorable doughnut shop! I stumbled upon this place while driving around and was drawn to it by the cute name and the ambience I saw through their storefront windows. I walked in and was greeted right away by the friendly staff. The shop is small (no tables) but bright, clean, and sweet. Luckily for me I came on the first day of their Harry Potter collection. They had over a dozen different HP themed doughnuts plus their famous fitters. You can select your doughnuts or buy a 7 box or a mystery box. I chose the 7 which has a variety of HP pre selected doughnuts. But you get to pick your House doughnut (mine is Ravenclaw). The fritter is amazing!!!! I've been wanting to try this small business forever and OTGW means a lot to me so it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I must say I was just expecting a pretty donut that would taste ok but the 3 flavors we chose were all really good. My favorite was the Beatrice donut and my partner's was the rock fact one but we both agreed the Wirt cup donut was still very good too.
