Ive been a patron of Frosted from day one. I've purchased hundreds of cupcakes over the years... seems they're a bit smaller than they used to be. Wondering why that is? Yesterday, I purchased 2 chocolate cupcakes and was so surprised they were dry. Hoping that Frosted management will consider my feedback. There are so many new desert options on 2nd street ... I'd hate to see this business slip.

We were in the area and decided to drop in and pick up some cupcakes. The spot is esthetically pleasant with beautiful wall murals, displays, and beautiful cup cake counter. The staff were welcoming, warm, polite, and attentive. They went over the cupcakes flavors, which was great being it was our first visit. They offer an assortment of cupcakes and other bakeries good like cake pops and cookies with vegan options. We purchased several cupcakes and all were well crafted, freshly made, and simply delectable. My favorite was the chocolate with peanut butter, so good! We'll definitely be back when in the area!!

So boom -- it's my son's 17th birthday, and me being me... of course I waited until the very last minute to figure out dessert. I found Frosted Cupcakery on DoorDash and they did not disappoint! I'm a delivery girl through and through, so the fact that I could get something cute, fast, and actually good-tasting delivered? 10/10. These cupcakes were fresh, moist, and super cute -- like they understood the assignment and had extra credit. My favorite was the strawberry lemonade -- that one stole the show. Tangy, sweet, and the little gummy on top? Love. I didn't even wanna share mine. If you're like me and often thrive in chaos (aka last minute birthday planning), this is your spot. Thank you Frosted for making my son's day a little sweeter -- and saving me from a mom fail.

This was my to go place for cupcake or sweet craving when they 1st opened for month til my dentist told me to cut off for awhile (I know), it's addictive. My fav are lemon, red velvet and hi-top. It just simply creamy, soft, sweet, fluffy and delicious. Hard for me to say no to it. The services here are just wonderful with nice and helpful staff. The place is clean cut, cozy, neat and inviting with couple tables seating. The cupcakes just simple clean and inviting displace. Still love this place.

This was a not good fruit cup. So I'll need my money back

I'm deathly allergic to rice and yet I found rice in my gluten free cake. Was I perturbed? Horrified. Nay. I was SICK. so I'm coming to collect. Go ahead and find me at Sachi.la

Ok ok so I'm so confused because I seriously thought I had left a review for this place AGES ago!! Like a decade ago at least but I had not and I been many times ... in fact I went today and I didn't take pics of the outside or inside because well I go here typically whenever I'm hanging out 2nd street I did manage to a take a pic of my cupcakes in the box and also took a screenshot of a pic I took in 2012 of the special cupcake they had for Halloween which was a pumpkin spice version and let me say it was delicious just like ALL their cupcakes are This is my FAV cupcake joint hands down and I'm always telling people to come Love their fresh flavors and light moist cakes and their frosting is sooo good I'm telling you it's a perfect balance of things They only bake a certain amount daily so if you arrive later in the day you may not get options of some flavors so go earlier or anytime really you won't be disappointed. The service is always friendly and super nice people working here. And they have a rewards program too! Free! And they make pupcakes for your doggy it's awesome

Delicious cupcakes! A bit pricey but if you're in the mood for gourmet sweets it is worth making a stop here. I love their different decorations and designs.. every month there is a new flavor option to test out. The only downside is there isn't much parking since it is right on second street, and if you don't find a parking on one of the side streets you'll have to pay the meter. The place is small and clean with a few tables to sit inside. There have also been a few times I have made a stop here and they have closed early due to selling out or their schedule has changed so best to call in advance so you don't waste your time making a trip here.

Thin frosting, some cupcakes were so thin the cupcake showed through it!

At $56- per dozen you would expect a good cupcake with a nice amount of frosting. These used to be better! It seems like they are trying to stretch a batch of frosting to cover twice as many cupcakes. The cupcake itself is fluffy and the frosting has good flavor. It's sad that people pay so much and this is what they end up with.

    Display case!

Really good cupcakes! Friendly service! And my kids loved the frosting shots (99 cents per). The seasonal flavor, strawberry lemonade, had real chunks of strawberry in it and they look so cute. We also tried chocolate peanut butter and strawberry cream cheese and a couple of others. These were a big hit with my family. Each one is just over $5, which I thought was a little expensive. You get a little bit of a discount if you buy six or twelve. But generally, this is a solid cupcake option!

Nostagiaaaa from the actual texture! Calamansi loaf- fave because it tastes good overall , but lacked calamansi flavor or tartness from the calamansi juice I guess Ube pandesal- I used to get this 3 times a week- just tastes like regular pandesal with a small slice of Cheez. I doctored mine up with slices of Cheezewhiz and salted egg at home. I think the names of the pastries are deceiving because they lack the actual flavor that they're named after. Stopped coming because I felt like I was just paying $20 per visit for something sweet that didn't have depth in flavors. Also, after reading the clap backs from the owner on IG/Yelp reviews towards other patrons, it has turned me off and made me more hesitant to support her business. There are also three tables outside that seat four, four, and two for a maximum of ten. The place fills up fast, but empties just as quick. And their baked goods go quick, so grab them while you can! I ordered the Cuban Empanada as an appetizer. The savory rice and bean filling was a perfect compliment to the sweet ripe plantain filling and hint of sweetness in the dough. They are baked and the dough is thick and chewy, so if you're not a fan of that type of Empanada, be warned... I ordered the Cuban Sandwich as the main course. It was DELICIOUS and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're a purist, like a few of my friends and family though, be warned. Their take on the Cuban is made with Ciabatta not Cuban Bread, Mozzarella not Swiss, and is toasted not pressed... I ordered a Vanilla & Dulce De Leche Cookie for Dessert. It was AMAZING! Soft chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside. The taste of a sugar cookie with little sugar bombs of Dulce De Leche throughout. Perfect. And I washed it all down with a Tres Leches Latte (Hot). It was DIVINE! Very much on the sweet side, which I absolutely enjoyed to the last drop. But, if you do not like it too sweet, you can ask them to lower the sweetness level. Also, they will give you an option of dairy milk (2%), almond milk, or oat milk when you order. Overall it was an excellent experience, for me. I will recommend it to all my friends, and will definitely be back!

It was our first time here, so we wanted to try all the flavors! We got the beef, chicken, BBQ pork, Cuban, chicken curry, veggie, and ropa vieja empanadas. I LOVE the crispy exterior of the empanadas, although interestingly, the first bites always tasted slightly salty. The fillings all had decent flavor, but none of them were outstanding or impressed me enough to want more. I will say, the green salsa they included with the order SIGNIFICANTLY improved the taste and experience of the empanadas. By itself, I'd rate the empanadas 3/5, but with the salsa, it definitely goes up to at least 4/5. But I dislike that the empanadas can't hold their own without the addition of the salsa. The shop is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. I think there were a few tables outside to enjoy the food, but not much seating otherwise. The girl at the counter seemed sweet and helpful and immediately greeted us when we came into the store. While the empanadas here aren't for me, it does seem like many people like them!
