Absolutely love Cassidy's! My only complaint is how expensive it is! I always order the Joe with bacon on the Asiago bagel, sub green onion cc & add red onion & it's so good! I tried their famous 421 iced coffee, but you can tell it's just iced coffee with a coffee mate creamer. So it's pretty sweet if you're into that. They are a bit on the pricier side, especially if you're ordering online for pickup since it's only from Doordash. The Joe will run me about $12-13 since I add red onion and sub the green onion cream cheese (which i don't feel like should be an additional charge but ‍) The coffee is about $9 on there as well, which for an iced coffee with coffee mate creamer, that is pretty steep. Great bagels! The bagels from Cassidy's are distinctly Cassidy's. They're doughy and pillowy soft when you bite into one. Unpopular opinion, but I like when bagels are not too chewy. I hate nothing more than to struggle bite my bagel. Here, you can assemble your own concoction or choose from a list of re-made options. I ordered the Desi ($11.75) simply because I was curious about the hollowed out bagel situation. I suppose this is the healthier of their options because it comes with egg whites. It also comes decked out with bacon, avocado, jalapeño, cream cheese + lemon pepper. I chose a Parmesan bagel as my vessel and it was a very tasty breakfast bagel. There were hints of lemon pepper which was an interesting flavor addition. For a more traditional breakfast bagel, Joe's Special ($10.50) was quite special. It's a bacon, egg, cheese, jalapeño cream cheese + lemon pepper breakfast bagel. This was a very solid breakfast bagel without the usual accompanying grease. Again with the lemon pepper lol. They also offer an extensive drink selection which I appreciate. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch bagels or to simply pick up bagels for home. read more

My friend has a severe nut allergy and specifically ordered her sandwich with NO cream cheese because their vegan cream cheese contains cashews. When her food arrived, there was none visible, so she trusted that her request had been followed. Unfortunately, cream cheese had been placed underneath the egg where she couldn't see it. She ate the sandwich and went into anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the hospital. This wasn't simply a wrong order. With a severe food allergy, a mistake like this can be life threatening. If a restaurant cannot safely accommodate an allergy, please just tell the customer rather than serving them something they believe is safe. We will not be returning to Cassidy's Corner or recommending it to others. I truly hope Cassidy's Corner takes this seriously and changes how allergy related orders are handled so this never happens to someone else. My friend has a severe cashew allergy, and we were aware that their vegan cream cheese is made with cashews. She specifically asked for NO cream cheese on her sandwich. When she received it, there was no visible cream cheese, so she ate it trusting that her request had been followed. Unfortunately, they had put a layer of cream cheese underneath the egg where she could not see it. As a result, she went into anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the hospital. This is completely unacceptable. Food allergies are not preferences, and requests like this cannot be taken lightly. At the end of the day, if a restaurant says they can accommodate an allergy or remove an allergen from an order, they need to follow through. A mistake like this can cost someone their life. After having Cassidy's Corner bagels many times indirectly since the location opened in Bixby during COVID, I decided to finally stop by in person to try it. It did not disappoint! Came on a weekday at lunchtime and it was quite busy as expected. Service was really friendly and fast; what I love most is the decor inside that pays homage to a lot of Long Beach. Anyone who's from the city would feel it just taking a look inside. The menu is pretty big and they serve breakfast throughout their opening hours which is great (and to expected from a bagel place). For those who want a bit more filling vs. bread and something probably a bit less carb-y, consider trying the Desi which I got--really yummy bagel sandwich with a lot of cream cheese inside (although I say less carb-y, definitely still got a lot of food!). The jalapeno cream cheese isn't overpoweringly jalapeno flavored, and it was really well balanced. The egg whites were just very subtlely incorporated into the sandwich which was great. We also shared one of the Maddy sandwiches which I think was a good amount of pastrami for the price (~$11). Pretty solid sandwich--we subbed it for sourdough instead of a bagel. Would for sure come back if I was in the area and wanting a bagel sandwich--the bagels themselves are super yummy! Not super dense, but a nice chew and light airiness still to them. read more

It's chill, friendly, and knows exactly what it's doing when it comes to breakfast and lunch...,.especially bagels. I've already started Googling recipes like a person spiraling into obsession, because I genuinely don't know how I'm supposed to go on without them. Perfectly seasoned, warm, cheesy, and just the right amount of "what kind of magic is in this?" The tomato bagel was super fresh and flavorful too, and everything was made to order without taking forever. You can tell this place knows what it's doing in the kitchen. The vibe is relaxed and local, with fast, friendly service and a staff that actually seems to enjoy being there. That energy carries through to the whole experience. it's easygoing, welcoming, and efficient even when it's busy. Now, I do have one tiny complaint. I tried the watermelon lemonade, and.....meh. Super Yummy Bagel Sandwiches and Drinks!! I got the Joe's Special on a Plain Bagel and an Iced Blended Vanilla Bean. The Joe's Special is delicious, and the Jalapeño Cream Cheese isn't too spicy. I believe there's little Jalapeño bits in it which gives it a fun crunchy texture. The Iced Blended Vanilla Bean is a good sweet drink! I love the vanilla bean flavor. The cafe is really clean and nicely decorated! There were three stools near the window where you can people-watch and look at cars outside. There's also two kid chairs. There's more seating and tables outside. There's also pretty decorations on the walls and a fridge full of bottled drinks. It gets busy during peak morning hours, but it is pretty typical since it is a cafe. The employees are nice. Since I went during peak morning hours, my order took a while so I wasn't surprised. I've now went to the Cassidy's Corner Cafe in Belmont Shore and the one in the Hangar at LBX, and I think they're both great for their different reasons.
