Looking for great açaí bowls? This is your place! I have been coming here for a month now, and I cannot get enough of it. The bowls are fresh and unique. There are many options which means many opportunities to test out and create your ideal bowl. I find simplicity is the best. Mine is açaí with bananas, blueberries, peanut butter and granola. Oh...it's so delicious! It's so delicious that I come here at least twice a week. Speaking of visiting the Island Bodega...I'm actually consuming my bowl as I am composing this review...lol! The service is great and the establishment is super clean. The vibe is nice and there is ample parking. It's worth the visit to try out. We often make the 25-30 minute drive out here to get our bowl. In general, we love this place. However, today was such poor management, it should be noted. They had the poor workers in there with no AC, not nearly enough staff coverage for a BOGO free promo, and not enough product. We weren't even able to wait for a bowl because they didn't have enough to serve everyone. I genuinely feel bad for them. They probably had the worst customer service day of work of their lives. VERY poorly managed promo. Big bummer. This is not the first issue with their promos, though it is the worst I have seen; we were turned away 1.5 hours before closing. I'm not sure why we aren't learning :( Suggestions: have an in-store option for the promo for customers in case the app is not functioning, increase staffing for special promotional deals, expedite store repairs so your staff are working in livable conditions read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this spot yet! This is one of my favorite local acai spots. The quality and freshness of the ingredients really stand out, and I've always enjoyed every bowl I've gotten from here. My favorite bases are acai, blue island, and coconut cream. I also really enjoy their coffee drinks, like the island bodega latte. Overall, you can't go wrong with anything from here. Service is always friendly! There's ample seating inside, and I've never had any issues with parking. read more

Really delicious bowl with friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere! It seemed pricey until I got the bowls and realized it was well worth it. The ingredients are superb! And the variety they pack into each bowl is amazing. I like all their preset bowls, to make the ordering easy. But I do love a crunch in my food, so I swap out soft coconut for toasted coconut. My friend got her bowl without the peanut butter and you can see the individual seeds and stuff better, making a gorgeous bowl. Weekday @ 3pm wasn't too busy so we got to sit around chatting and enjoying our bowls. read more

Love this place but bad roll out for a promo... This is one of my GO TO places for açaí bowls which says a lot so I was stoked to hear they were doing a BOGO promotion. The only thing was the experience of it was pretty clumsy and one of the ladies making the bowls made an announcement to listen for names was rude and condescending to the point where her coworker said to tone it down. Everyone else seemed chill, especially the lady behind the register calling out the names. Again, love this place but better execution for that kind of big promo. read more

If you're in the mood for something lightly sweetened and packed with antioxidant fruits, you have to try the ACAI bowl. I absolutely LOVE the chia seeds pudding they add on! As a big fan of coffee and tea, I sometimes take little breaks to refresh and detox. I can't get enough of the signature Island bowl--it's simply delightful. The coconut matcha bowl was alright, but I found it a bit on the bland side. I really love both coconut and matcha; I just don't think they fit my acai bowl preference! Went to try this place during their BOGO deal. I sampled a few of the bases, and they were all really good. Love that you can add unlimited toppings at no extra charge. The blueberry one was so good -- I loved it. The strawberry wasn't in season, so it was a bit sour. I also liked all the butters they offered -- it really added a nice creamy richness to the bowl. Staff was friendly and quick of making the order. They checked every steps if I was ok with everything and need any adjustments. Location have plenty of parking. Inside was cute, aesthetics and clean. Overall, I'd give it 4/5 stars -- everything tasted great, but I probably wouldn't buy a single bowl at full price. read more

Do you do points? This place do points with CashApp I wished one of the worker had told me soon been coming here a few times already and could of earned at least 36 -45 points by now.

The place is small but cozy and they have a giant couch in the middle for lounging. The price is high compare to other places, with the exception of their daily special tea. Their tea is actually cheap. I love love the jasmine calamonsi tea, so refreshing for $3. The halo halo was overwhelmed with ice cream, need more of other ingredients. The monster oreo shake was delicious but it is not worth it for that price. The ube flan cupcake was just ube cupcake and flan stack on top. It kinds of lacking the cohesiveness. Overall, I would come back just for that tea.

Cookie Butter Latte is really good, definitely recommend if you like those "specialty" kind of…read moredrinks. The Holos Signature was just the right amount of bitterness of the coffee. Although they really pack the drinks with ice especially for the Biscoff. Service was normal, nothing really to rave about. Basic customer service so it's still good lol. Used to come here all the time to study or do meet ups back in school. The place is a good setting for that with many tables and not too noisy.

I visited a coffee shop recently because my wife wanted to try it. While she was ordering, she…read morementioned another coffee shop she usually goes to. The employee at the register asked her to repeat the name a few times and corrected her pronunciation. To me, the way it was said came across as somewhat condescending. I later asked my wife how she felt about the interaction, and she didn't see it that way, so it may just be a difference in perception or that I took it out of context. However, I do feel that asking someone where they go and then implying they are saying it incorrectly--especially if it's not pronounced with a specific accent--can come across as unnecessary or dismissive. My wife liked the coffee .....but one star from me I didn't even get a coffee. By the way I don't think I'll be back tho she will not me

Such a cute ice cream shop with a wide variety of unique and delicious flavors!…read more Upon entering, we were greeted by the friendly staff. I really appreciated how nice and helpful the workers were. The girl who helped us offered recommendations and let us sample a handful of flavors. Ultimately we decided to get a flight which included 4 flavors of kid sized scoops for $15. They had a "Brewed and Bold" offering as part of their seasonal menu so we decided to get the Black Sesame Cookies and Cream, Thai Tea Buttercrunch, Matchaberry Brownie, and their Hojicha Chip. The ice cream flavors were subtle but so delicious and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try more of their flavors. Parking can be a bit tough depending on the time of day as it's in a busy plaza shared with other eateries, but thankfully we were able to snag a spot within a few minutes.

I ended up getting the matcha berry brownie and thai tea butter crunch on a waffle cone- loved it! For the other times I come here, I like to get their honey lavender, campfire s'mores, and double stuffed cookies and cream. Service is pretty great each time I go. Staff are quick and efficient with moving the line even when it's long. They offer samples, which is convenient when you can't decide on a flavor that you want. Definitely recommend for your late-night or after eats dessert!

We already looked at the menu ahead of time before so we can be in and out. So we received our order right away. I ordered a premium Jasmine green tea with 0% sweetness and easy ice. My drink was very floral and tea forward because I didn't get any sugar in mine - which I like. My husband got a mango ice tea with boba and aiyu jelly. He liked his drink. I tasted it and it has a good, distinct mango taste. The boba had good texture and chew. He didn't know what the big jelly squares were. I told him that's the jelly lol. I tasted a bit of it. It has no taste (imo) but he liked it. And once he got to the bottom of his drink, there were big chunks of mango which were hard to slurp up in the straw. This place has cute decor. Very simple. It's a place worth stopping by again and trying out the other drinks they have.
