Tried the Zion cake today, after not having been back in 2 years. Very moist & creamy. It is now my new favorite item at Bakes & Pastes. I'm making it a priority to come back & purchase their silvanas, when I'm in the mood for an crispy indulgent treat. Highly recommend!

Sooooo tasty!!!!

Delicious treats! Ambiance was on point and the customer service was excellent. If you are looking for a sweet treat this is the place! We ordered the Cashew Silvanas, Zed & Zion cakes and a few cookies. Everything was gone before we got home . We will definitely be repeat customers.

This place has the best silvanas. We're trying the assorted today. So excited!!! You gotta go here Tuesday-Friday 11-6pm and Saturday 11-3pm.

Just go! Get the Sans Rival Cake, Zed Cake, and Silvanas! Just try everything. I've tried them all and they are DELICIOUS. I've been buying desserts from them ever since I found them on IG operating from their home. Great desserts--hindi masyado matamis!"

Delicious Silvanas!! Worth the trip. Clean store, excellent service. Place feels like your at home.

Our favorite bakery in the area! Definitely a must to pre order ahead of time because their line can get long and they run out of stock on holidays and weekends. Zion and BZ cake is our go to for all birthdays and events but Ube is also our fave seasonal flavor. Not too sweet and reasonably priced.

Stephanie E.

If you're a chocolate lover, this dessert spot is an absolute must-try! Their famous BZ cake is hands down one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. It's a perfectly moist, rich, two-layer dark chocolate cake drenched in their signature chocolate sauce and served in a convenient foil tray. Every bite is decadent and unbelievably satisfying- exactly what a chocolate cake should taste like. Their Zion Cake is another standout. This dessert features three layers of dark chocolate cake topped with a mix of their signature white and dark chocolate sauces. It's available in two sizes: the "Not to Share" 8x8" (which honestly disappears fast!) and the larger "To Share" half-tray size. Whether you're treating yourself or feeding a crowd, both options deliver the same indulgent, high-quality experience. Because these cakes are so popular, they tend to sell out quickly - so it's best to place your order online ahead of time. Trust me, once you try their cakes, you'll understand why they don't stay on the shelves for long. A definite 10/10 for dessert lovers!

Love love love this bakery!! Must try their zion and bz cake. We get it for every occasion and everyone we introduce this cake falls in love with the cakes. Service is always top notch and so kind. They sell other filipino pastries like crinkles, silvanas, and cookies.

I am not exaggerating when I say that the Zion cake here is the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my entire life. The cake itself is super rich and moist and the chocolate cream on top is so decadent and high quality - but at the same time it's not too sweet. I definitely will be getting future birthday cakes here. The silvanas are really delicious too! We ordered an assorted box which comes with cookies and cream, pistachio, and cashew. The cookies are nice and buttery with wafery like texture. Everything here is so delicious and highly recommend!!!

I saw one sitting pretty like she was just waiting for me! Yes! Yes! Yes! It's a bit messy to dig in with my fingers so I'm typing this to temporarily distract myself until we get to our destination! Thank you chef/baker/magic maker. May the Lord bless your lovely hands and heart.

Double chocolate

Whenever I crave a moist chocolate cake, Red Ribbon or this place is my go-to. Their crinkle cookie is the best I've ever had. Every item is so moist and not overly sweet, especially their double chocolate cookie with a hint of saltiness. The prices are a bit much ($3~ for a single cookie ) but honestly, they have the best cakes and cookies. ‍ Their online ordering might be a bit backed up because they almost never have same-day or next-day pick up, so I suggest just going there early.

Ernst M.

All looks yummy! Gotta try the other cakes and cookies next time! Will definitely come back!

Alexis M.

Love this place so much! Their Zion chocolate cake is my favorite as well as their cashew and pistachio silvanas! I highly recommend this Filipino bakery for their delicious and moist cakes!

There's a discount section for older bread and pastries, but I am not sure when they get put out. Also to note, if you want a box, you're going to have to buy at least 15 pieces. I bought 10 and asked for a box and the lady flat out told me no. I can understand if it was the policy, but there was a little bit of attitude in the response. And for a place that supposedly pumps these things out, it kind took her a while to get some from the back and come back with them. So docking a star for service, but still coming back.

It was just me and my husband so we were tempted to buy more but we could only eat so much bread in a day ahhahaa We got the double matcha strawberry and it was refreshing. On my last visit, the wait time was super long even though there was only two people in front of me. I'll consider this a one off, but I have to say if I ever saw a line again I'd probably forego picking anything up. The wait was like 15+ mins for two people before me. Even saw the lady behind me put down her items and left because it took so long. Normally, I manage to purchase my items and leave immediately, so just be conscious of the line. The pasteries here are just ok. I don't think they're amazing. Serviceable. I think the best item they have here in their chicken curry pastry, and only if you pop it in the air fryer once you bring it home. Otherwise the pastry is kinda wilted and sad. Air fryer crisps it back up and makes it fairly tasty. Inside filling is flavorful and tasty. I also got their portugese egg tart and bbg pork bun on my last visit here. I would not get either of these again. They're not bad, just not great. They're fine. Portugese egg tart isn't as crispy as I'd like even after some air fryer treatment. BBG pork bun's filling was a bit too sweet, and not very tasty. Service may be a little slow, but the employees are nice and I can see they're working hard. Store is also clean and all the pasteries are orderly. I'd say don't go out of your way to visit here, but definitely try an item or two if you're ever shopping at the 99 Ranch it's inside of.
