    Bombay Sandwich (grilled)
    Katelyn S.

My cousins mother in law recommended me to try this place out for a quick on the go meal. I ended up trying the Bombay sandwich which was extremely good and decently priced! It entailed a savory potato and vegetable filling, cucumber, onions, tomato, shredded amul cheese, and homemade chutney. Would recommend if you're looking for a vegetarian sandwich.

I ordered a custom wedding cake and some bite sized pastries from the Cake Korner for my wedding and the cake was absolutely beautiful and scrumptious! We worked with Jay throughout the whole process and he was a pleasure to work with! My husband and I were recommended this bakery by our friends who purchased their wedding cake and birthday cakes from here within the last couple years. Through our friends, we've tried the mango mousse and chocolate cake and we knew we had to get our wedding cake from here, too. We first had a cake tasting as I wanted to try some of their specialty flavored cakes that is not offered at most bakeries. I've always loved Indian desserts and the fact that they had Indian desserts flavored cake was so exciting for me! When my husband and I were deciding which flavors to try for the cake tasting, he was very skeptical on trying the Indian cake flavors I wanted to try and boy, oh boy, was I in for a big surprise! My husband LOVED the Indian flavors that we tasted and we had the most difficult time trying to choose which flavors we wanted to order for our wedding cake. The tasting was so, so good and we cannot wait to order more future cakes from here to try all the different flavors of the cakes they make here! We ended up ordering the mawa malai and Ferrero rocher flavors for our wedding cake and additional the mango mousse and chocolate flavored bite size pastries. I provided a reference photo of what we wanted our cake to look like and it came out even more beautiful than the reference!!! There were no crumbs leftover from both the cake and the pastries! Our guests kept complementing how beautiful our cake was and they absolutely LOVED our cakes and couldn't stop talking about how moist, light, and flavorful our cakes were! My husband and I look forward to purchasing all our future cakes from here!!!

Cake Korner in Artesia truly exceeded our expectations. We ordered a variety of cakes to try different flavors, and each one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The standout for me was definitely the Black Forest cake--perfectly sweet, rich without being heavy, and the icing was just right, not overly thick or overpowering. You can tell a lot of care goes into their recipes and presentation. On top of the great desserts, the shop itself is clearly evolving. It looks like this location is expanding, and the new furniture being added already looks amazing and very inviting. It's exciting to see them growing, and I can't wait to see what else gets added to the space. Overall, a fantastic experience with great cakes and an even better vibe--highly recommend Cake Korner!

If you are looking to get an amazing cake for birthdays or for special occasions I would highly recommend getting your cake from here! This is my third time purchasing a birthday cake and my go to is their popular mango mousse cake. It's light, airy, just the right amount of sweetness, moist, and so deliciously mango! The mango is a staple so if you want it's readily available for same day pickup. The staff is amazing, super friendly, helpful, and kind! The man helping me today 03.22.24 was so nice. I was torn between the mango and strawberry cake he gave me a sample of the strawberry cake to help me with my decision. Although the strawberry cake was awesome I had to choose my favorite ... the mango cake. Ambiance is nice, you can order pastries there and slices of individual cakes to enjoy. There are tables and chairs to sit inside so you can enjoy your treats.

Seriously some of the best cakes you'll get come from Cake Korner. Fluffy, moist, and wonderful for people with dietary restrictions, this is THE place to get your cakes. Service is always friendly, and they even sell savory pastries which are as tasty as the cakes. Try Cake Korner, you won't regret it.

I go here for the variety of Indian food that I don't really see much elsewhere, i.e. the sandwiches, chaats, and puffs. I haven't had anything I don't like here. From the items I've tried, my absolute favorites, in order of preference, are the bhel puri, aloo chili puff, samosa chaat, and chikoo shake. The chikoo shake is sweet and delicious, not thick/dense, but sadly comes in a small cup (12 oz?) for the price. I also enjoyed the other items like vada pav, pav bhaji, aloo papdi chaat, and lassi. The paneer tikka puff, egg puff, black forest cake, and combo roll were okay. Service is great. My order usually comes out within 10 minutes. I always order to-go, and I appreciate them putting the chutneys and sev for my chaat in small containers. I'm not familiar with most of the menu items, and the staff is always patient in explaining the menu and sharing their recommendations. If I recall correctly, the kitchen closes at 8:30 pm. If you're hoping to get anything besides the savory puffs or cakes, definitely aim to get here before then. There are only 3 tables inside, but I've never really seen people dining in when I go in the evening. It shares a lot with a few other restaurants and businesses like Tastea and Yogurtland, so parking can be tricky once in a blue moon. I've always been able to find parking, though.

Was in the area so decided to check out Cake Korner, they have a good selection of pastries / cakes. And they sell savory puff pastries. They have vegetable, egg, and paneer versions of the puff pastry. This is more like a take out place, and has a few tables if you decide to dine in. They also sell bread and Indian vegetarian dishes. More like a cafe than a restaurant. Service was good, the owner was very polite.

Its next to paradise biryani so i decided to get some dessert. Ive had their puffs and pao bread before at other places so i decided to stick to cake. My selections were strawberry mousse (this was on point) and rose. The rose flavor was missing according to my taste buds but it was beautifully decorated. I will return to check out their savory items

I stopped by this bakery last minute on New Year's Eve, and we all loved it! I picked up a pineapple cake and we were all talking about how fresh it was and it was not loaded with too much sweet. It was honestly perfect!

We were looking for a gender reveal cake and we didn't want to drive too far. I came across The Cake Korner on Yelp and saw all the beautiful custom cakes they've designed & baked. We decided to give them a try. We went to the bakery after our doctor's appointment with an envelope of our baby's gender. We told them what we wanted and gave them the "top secret" envelope. The lady that worked there was so nice; she wrote down our order & offered advice. I emailed them the photo of the cake design I wanted. The price kind of shocked me, but I guess it's a custom order so it's to be expected. We picked up the cake 3 days later and it exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful! They even gave us back the envelope too. The next day we had our small little gender reveal. When my husband cut into the cake & pulled out a slice, the layers were simply gorgeous!! The cake wasn't too sweet either and all the seniors enjoyed it! We chose vanilla flavor so the sponge part could be dyed either blue or pink. Overall, we highly recommend The Cake Korner!

I've been coming to Pampanga's Bakery in Artesia for a while now, and it's long overdue that I actually give them their flowers. If you are looking for authentic, comforting Filipino baked goods and kakanin, this is the gold standard. Every time I walk in, the shelves are loaded with staples. Their selection of kakanin is also massive. The **Puto Assorted** and **Puto & Kutsinta** packs ($3.90) are always perfectly soft, vibrant, and fresh, and they have massive trays of **Biko Pandan** and **Cassava Cake** if you're feeding a crowd. For the savory side, the **Chicken Empanadas** and **Fried Lumpia** always hit the spot. And of course, there's the **Turon**. Yes, the price has risen to $1.05 a piece, but honestly? It's just modern economics, and it is still worth every single penny. It is still the absolute best of the best--shattered-crisp, perfectly caramelized on the outside, and packed right. The staff is always fast, the bakery smells like heaven, and the quality has stayed incredibly consistent over the years. Don't be like me and gatekeep it...if you haven't been, stop by!

One thing they have always been consistent about is the quality of their turon--and unfortunately, the long wait times as well. There have been several occasions when we had to pay and come back later because of the high demand for their product. Because we live about 30 miles away, we were advised to place our orders by phone before making the trip, which is exactly what we've been doing. Yesterday, however, we experienced one of the most inefficient customer service experiences we've ever had. We called multiple times to confirm our order, and the staff who answered assured us not to worry because they had plenty available and that our order would be ready when we arrived. When we got there, the exact opposite happened. We were told they had run out of turon and that we would need to wait another hour. While discussing the situation with the cashier, we watched another staff member assist the customer behind us, who purchased 60 pieces. We had preordered only 30 pieces, yet somehow they were able to fulfill that larger order while failing to honor ours. Poor customer service will eventually drive customers away. Yes, the product is excellent, but there will come a time when the product alone is no longer enough to keep customers coming back. Given the popularity of their business, they should be focusing on improving their customer service and honoring preorders to maintain customer loyalty. Good products attract customers, but good service keeps them.

I've always loved walking in there, inhaling the oven-fresh aromas like a FIEND, ever since I was in grade school-- I'll turn 51 in a few days. You have ONE slice of their special occasion shortcakes (strawberry, mango, and I think one more variety), and you instantly become a new customer--this has been their calling card for DECADES, and they EXPONENTIALLY grow their clientele with each cake sold (potentially a new customer per slice). Their customers are SO loyal that--as far as I can tell--Honey Bakery isn't even on social media--word-of-mouth, even in 2026, is all that's needed--their baked goods speak for themselves. I highly-recommend their MILK BREAD (you'll be willing to make a special trip here, SOLELY to pick up a bag or two)--if you're a bread-lover, you'll find their freshly+baked loaves to smell intoxicating, and let's see if you can stop yourself from snacking on JUST one slice, right out of the bag....they're REALLY addictive. They come THICK- and THIN-SLICED, but thick especially sells out quickly by mid-morning, so CALL AHEAD & RESERVE your order. As I was reminded by reading another customer's review, payment is CASH-ONLY.

I used to love their pork sung pastry too, but now it's a pork sung dense bread with a pastry blanket on top. This is a mom and pop shop so I feel like they either hired a new baker or one took over and has a taste for very dense bread and textures... honestly texture is not bad, but way too filling and heavy for me.

Even saw the lady behind me put down her items and left because it took so long. Normally, I manage to purchase my items and leave immediately, so just be conscious of the line. The pasteries here are just ok. I don't think they're amazing. Serviceable. I think the best item they have here in their chicken curry pastry, and only if you pop it in the air fryer once you bring it home. Otherwise the pastry is kinda wilted and sad. Air fryer crisps it back up and makes it fairly tasty. Inside filling is flavorful and tasty. I also got their portugese egg tart and bbg pork bun on my last visit here. I would not get either of these again. They're not bad, just not great. They're fine. Portugese egg tart isn't as crispy as I'd like even after some air fryer treatment. BBG pork bun's filling was a bit too sweet, and not very tasty. Service may be a little slow, but the employees are nice and I can see they're working hard. I would rate this more of a 3.5 star but it's…read morean average asian bakery with conveniently packaged breads and pastries, and pretty good drinks. I think compared to the traditional asian bakeries in 626 like Kee Wah, etc., the breads are much softer (a little on the overly soft side). One of my favorite asian breads, the bolo bao, is probably the worst here or at any 85C - the flakiness that's supposed to be the highlight of the bolo bao is not even close to where it needs to be at 85C. But I will say, the bun with the coffee filling inside is spectacular, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves coffee. At night, the selection of the breads is extremely limited, but the place is still popular due to the large variety of drink offerings. There is a lot of seating and the place is generally clean and well-lit. The parking lot is big but it's always busy and may be hard to find a spot unless you park further away sometimes.

Just had the worst experience in customer service at 85° Cerritos. I ordered both a Strawberry…read moreBanana smoothie and Strawberry Matcha Latte so that I could get the cat magnet. Per the promotion, you must order any two Strawberry drinks. They were behind in the drink orders, so I just waited patiently. But, then I noticed people who arrived after me were receiving their drinks. So, when I showed my receipt, not only was my Strawberry Banana smoothie order "lost" but another female customer walked off with/stole my Strawberry Matcha Latte. At this point, 15 minutes have passed and I wasn't offered an apology or compensation (free drink for the inconvenience). Naturally, I was angry and grabbed a display tote to show that I wanted a clean, brand new mini tote as compensation. Which I thought was fair because I didn't want to stand in line again to try and get a refund. Instead, I was accused of trying to "steal" a bag worth 2 cents. Just because I touched the bag. If you want to have your time wasted, drinks stolen and be accused of petty theft this place is for you! Note: Zero stars wasn't an option. Spouse said Strawberry Banana Smoothie was full of nothing but ice and poor quality.
