I'm writing this review because I would hate for this place to close and lose another great spot for drinks and a good place to work. The drinks are good every time I come, and the workers are friendly. They've done a lot of nice work decorating the interior and even have a patio outside which is super nice because it's in the shade but with access to the street. Wifi is fast, and the tables are a perfect width for 2 people to work with their laptops back to back. Most coffee shops from my experience use these tiny tables that feel flimsy and cramped. The seats are also nice, This is a boba shop and it's better than 95% of coffee shops I've tried to work at. Sure, it's next to a school and the kids come in to yap with their friends and hang out, just use your noise cancelling headphones and you're good. read more

There were so many cute decorations that caught my eye and I believe the manga was available for reading, which is a cool feature. I loved my experience here. The aesthetic of the atmosphere is so unique. It gives a lot of young culture to enjoy as well as great photo opportunities. The service is amazing as well as polite from the nice woman who helped me and my partner. An item was accidentally not off the menu and she was kind enough to politely help us get a new choice as well as help with the price difference. I gave her the difference for tip from the way she handled it. It made my experience all the more worth it to come back again and recommend. The strawberry flavor was so refreshing especially for a hot weather like it has been. My partner enjoyed the chocolate choice and he loved it. Didn't even take him long to finish either. This is a very cute shop! Just look at the cat cup that they use for the boba drink. However, it is small. There are four tables and bar stools seating along the wall. There is a kiosk to order from if there is no one at the counter to take orders. Parking is easy because of the parking garage. I ordered an iced matcha latte and a mango passion fruit tea with boba. They have a parking structure which is great and the cafe is located near the parking lot entrance. There's no sign on the outside so just look for the # "116" or after you park in the covered parking structure, go out the entrance and it will be on your right side. It was quiet on a Thursday afternoon. The staff were super friendly and the interior was clean. The peach tea with cheese foam wasn't super sweet which I enjoyed (no need to adjust sweetness like other places). The egg waffle was pretty normal. I ordered the chocolate ice cream which tasted like a normal chocolate ice cream from a generic brand tub. Overall a pretty normal tea shop. But the good thing is, they are not overly sweet. I spotted this cute boba shop omw to Zama Latin Lounge in downtown Fullerton. You know me, I just HAD to check it out even though I barely had room for it, haha! It's a fairly new shop that opened about a yeat ago, and I am guessing from the decor that the owners love cats. There are mini cat figurines all along the glass walls. They have a good amount of drinks, desserts, and snacks to choose from. I really wanted the Mango Shaved Ice, but it looked too big (and I ate twice before I came, lol), so I'll have to get it next time. I got the Peach Tea with Cheese Foam. It had the clear boba in it, which was nice and chewy. I liked the flavor of it and would definitely get it again. You can order from the kiosk if no one is at the counter. You also need to get the key for the restroom. The prices are average, and the service was pretty quick. There's a parking garage that I think is free for an hour or two, but I'm not sure if you have to pay during the week. I am a fan of Sunny Tea Studio and will return again soon! read more

This review is specially for the worker Kyla working on Sunday, May 10th around 4pm. I have never encounter such HORRIBLE customer service. I had ordered a matcha bingsoo via one of the kiosks which is pictured with red bean. Apparently there is a soybean bingsoo which also has red bean (it was not on the kiosk). I was #19 and picked up a bingsoo when #19 was called. She did not say what the order was and only called out the number. Halfway through eating the bingsoo, she approached us, accusing us of poaching the bingsoo?? Saying if we took another wrong order we would be kicked out of the store. I explained that my friend and I were confused why it differed from the picture on the kiosk and that I picked it up because it was #19, my number, that was called out. She kept talking to us very passive aggressively, insisting we took someone else's order on purpose saying that this was our only "warning"?... She said to wait and she would get her manager so we sat for around 7 minutes waiting and she came back by herself to say the same thing again. I have personally worked at MeetFresh which also makes boba and shaved ice and didn't see the need to come over to us so rudely. The bingsoo I had originally ordered was even more expensive than the one we supposedly poached too... I would understand this whole situation if I came into the store and took someone else's food without ordering but that was not the case. I would even understand if it was busy but there was only one other customer there... I definitely will NOT be coming back and have never been so appalled by such horrible customer service, etiquette, and attitude. This whole situation could've been handled much better. Great place to study, get work done, or meet up for school work! The place is very clean and has lots of outlets. The rating is 3/5 because the drink was too sweet! I suppose that's what to expect when selecting 75% sweetness. I ordered their fruit tea, which is described as "a refreshing blend of assorted fruits infused in tea, offering a vibrant and fruity experience." It felt like 150% sweetness. Ordering is done via kiosk, and with only one hardworking employee, it took some time for our drinks to be made. So expect to wait and don't be in a rush! The bathroom is clean and unisex, but I wish there were paper towels so we don't have to touch the door (not everyone is hygienic). Overall, I might come back if I choose 25% sweetness on the drink. While I was in Downtown Fullerton, I came in on a whim because I just liked the cat mascot. The location itself is very nice with a few tables for groups and some stools for individuals. It was decorated with little cat figures and flowers. They even had some manga and games available for guests to play. This is the most expensive boba that I have bought, it ended up being around $8.00 for the super fruit tea and I didn't even add anything extra to it or for a large size (I believe it was only one size available) Now I thought maybe it's just very high quality tea. Big fan of boba places so I was excited to try a new place that opened near my home and I would have to say, too much was put into the decoration and the atmosphere of the place and not enough attention was placed on the menu pricing and the speed of service. I ordered the fresh milk with osmanthus rice cause I like osmanthus and thought it was infused into the milk and a mango complax which sounded interesting cause it was a hot day and I wanted a drink for my gf and I. Honestly disappointed that fresh milk costs 6.50... when I got home and drank it, my reaction was... I paid 6.50 for literally milk and a little fermented rice. Yup, not doing that again, too overpriced for my taste buds. The mango complax which I ordered for my gf at least had a bit better flavor, but I realize the bottle choice they went with does not make any sense, why have a soda tab when you're going to stick a plastic straw into the drink... Not saying it'll happen, but metal scraping off micro-plastics could be possible. Yeah, with grand opening there was a discount for second drink, but I can't imagine spending the premium on a normal day of $13 for 2 drinks pre-tax when it takes 30 minutes to complete 4 orders, mine being the 4th order. Things to consider fixing, the price point, way too overpriced for the area. Take boba time for example, 2 blocks down, 25% difference in pricing. With 2 drinks, you are paying a 50% markup. Get rid of the soda tab bottle, it doesn't make sense to drink from a soda tab bottle with a straw especially with toppings at the bottom of the drink. Provide more training. I understand it's newly opened but I went to another boba location that opened last week with lines packed, they were able to push out quality and custom drinks in respectable time. Here, 4 orders, equating to 7 drinks and 1 order of sticky rice balls. Lets say 8 drinks per hour, averaging $7 per drink, that's still only $56 an hour. read more
