I've been here before when it was possibly under different management? Stopped by for shaved ice and matcha. They now have outdoor seating right outside the store which is nice since the indoor seating seems a bit too crowded and cramped. I think they're trying to cram too many tables inside for seating. The strawberry shaved ice looked good but it was a bit too sweet with the strawberry syrup. It comes with quite a bit of strawberry but I preferred it more when it didn't have as much syrup and condensed milk. The matcha latte was not good. Sorry, but I won't be ordering that again. But the two stars has to do with what happened at the counter. When I got my shave ice, I asked for 3 small bowls so that we could share and not have to dig from the same bowl. The girl at the counter came out with 3 small bowls which were perfect. But after she handed it to me a gentlemen, presumably the owner and manager came out and told her that the bowls were not meant to be provided and a that she was to use cups instead. He took the 3 bowls, went into the back, I heard rinsing of water and he came out with two wet clear plastic cups and a larger bowl than the 3 small bowls. I didn't get it. But that whole interaction just ruined the visit. Needless to say, why would you rinse off 2 small clear cups unless the cups were dirty to start with and you're reusing them? If you're the owner or management, I hope you take note of how something this small could affect how a customer perceives your business. You should've just let us use the 3 small bowls and talked to your employee behind the scenes. And get better cups/bowls if you don't want to let people use good bowls.
We visited this adorable spot on Mother's Day and had a lovely experience! My brother was craving shaved ice, and my niece recommended it. The charming decor features cherry blossoms, anime comic books, and cute figurines, creating a great atmosphere for families & students. We tried jasmine mousse tea, peach oolong mousse tea, soybean shaved ice, and matcha/choco mochi. The mochi was my favorite--soft and perfectly sweet! The jasmine tea was delightful too. Everything got a solid 5/5 from me, and the exceptional service made our visit even better! We loved it.
Such a charming cafe! There is a decent amount of 2-up seating inside, making this place great place to catch up someone one on one. We tried ordering from one of the two kiosks, and when the card reader didn't work, we were helped at the register right away. Their "perfect sweetness" is not sweet AT ALL, and I say this as someone who is more sensitive to sugar. MANGO MOCHI: 5/5. I've never had a drink textured like this before. The "liquid" mochi had a soft and velvety mouthfeel, and the flavor was very much mango-forward. I'd come back for this one. MATCHA COCONUT: 4/5. Holy matcha. I'm a matcha lover and this one was strong, even for me. If this were a group project, matcha did all the work while coconut hung out with friends. While this one was not for me, I can recognize the quality of the matcha here. MATCHA CLOUD: 4/5. Surprisingly good. The cloud had a strong cream flavor and mellowed out the sharp matcha well. I thought this one was more balanced than the coconut. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: 4/5. Pretty solid. The shortcake itself seemed like a plain base with silky smooth cream layers, and the strawberry topping was refreshing and delicious, I wished there was more strawberry incorporated into the cake.
Cute, clean little shop! I was debating between a boba drink, a shaved ice, or a little cake and decided on the boba. The matcha quality was good and the strawberry tasted fresh--- like a jam or compote, maybe? I ordered light sweetness and it was still a little sweeter than I expected but I'm sure they'd put less in if you asked. There's plenty of seating in the shop, and I noticed at least one outlet. Seems like a solid place to study or hang out with friends.
I loved how cute this place! You can read manga, study here! The ambiance is soo cutesy, aesthetically pleasing! They have pink sakura perfect for the kawaii place! Little cute figurines, stuffed animals, manga, plenty of seating inside and outside. Service is amazing! Very friendly and my drinks and desserts came out fast. I love the matcha! It's strong and not too sweet. The strawberry shaved ice is really good fresh. The Mango passion fruit tea is very refreshing. Sunny tea is a cute place to meet up with a friend. It's next to ubutuba açaí and offers different caffeinated as well as decaffeinated drinks. The owner was extremely helpful in going through recommended drinks and even came over to give my friend and I a mochi dessert on the house. The mochi dessert was light and not too sweet-definitely met my standards for Asian dessert! I got a passion fruit mango drink 50% sweet and it was refreshing. If you're in a hurry, there's a kiosk to order drinks. There's plenty of comfortable sofa seating all around.
Nice and clean and very pleasant smelling place! Different seating options inside and out. The lady who was working here was sooo sweet!! She answered all of my questions about which drinks did not have caffeine and I ended up getting the mochi mango which was very refreshing! It had mochi at the bottom of the drink that were not bits, but rather a wad of mochi. She even offered me boba in the drink because she knew I liked boba. So she added a few pearls in the drink on the house. Very thoughtful! And after trying the boba, I found a new favorite tasting boba! I will definitely return.

First timer! I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful lady and used the restroom which was very clean however didn't have soap looked like mixed with water. The lady said she will let the owner know to put more soap which is important because the bathroom is for men /women so only one bathroom. The Thai Black tea with boba (posted pic below) was great and refreshing. The lady employee was very friendly and made my tea fast. They have outlets to charge your devices which I liked. The chairs are very comfortable to sit in and the tables are wide for you to layout your studying material. Great space and decor. This is a great place to study and grab a tea! Go check out
My boyfriend and I went to go try this place to see if they had any snacks! Unfortunately there was no takoyaki when we went :( ! The service was a bit slow due to I think only one person working there so please be patient with your items! Peach Oolong- super yummy and creamy! Mochi- was super chewy and came with a creamy sea salt dip and topped with cereal! TIP: There is a restroom here and a few board games to play! Perfect place to use as a cafe!
Sunny Tea Studio is such a cute spot--perfect for hanging out with friends or studying with a sweet treat. The service was super quick & refreshing to have. The mango shave ice was amazing with fresh mango and ice cream. The mochi taro drink was tasty with a nice balance between the mochi and the taro. Whereas the mochi box was chewy, delicious, and fun with the foam dip and chocolate cereal crunch texture. The shop's décor, with One Piece manga, Mofusand, and Totoro touches, makes it extra cozy and charming.

This review is specially for the worker Kyla working on Sunday, May 10th around 4pm. I have never encounter such HORRIBLE customer service. I had ordered a matcha bingsoo via one of the kiosks which is pictured with red bean. Apparently there is a soybean bingsoo which also has red bean (it was not on the kiosk). I was #19 and picked up a bingsoo when #19 was called. She did not say what the order was and only called out the number. Halfway through eating the bingsoo, she approached us, accusing us of poaching the bingsoo?? Saying if we took another wrong order we would be kicked out of the store. I explained that my friend and I were confused why it differed from the picture on the kiosk and that I picked it up because it was #19, my number, that was called out. She kept talking to us very passive aggressively, insisting we took someone else's order on purpose saying that this was our only "warning"?... She said to wait and she would get her manager so we sat for around 7 minutes waiting and she came back by herself to say the same thing again. I have personally worked at MeetFresh which also makes boba and shaved ice and didn't see the need to come over to us so rudely. The bingsoo I had originally ordered was even more expensive than the one we supposedly poached too... I would understand this whole situation if I came into the store and took someone else's food without ordering but that was not the case. I would even understand if it was busy but there was only one other customer there... I definitely will NOT be coming back and have never been so appalled by such horrible customer service, etiquette, and attitude. This whole situation could've been handled much better. I got fruit tea and shared some noodles and yakitaki with a friend. The noodles were okay, squid yakitaki was pretty good, and I enjoyed my boba tea. It was good for a quick stop, but I'm not sure if I return even if I was in the area. read more
I spotted this cute boba shop omw to Zama Latin Lounge in downtown Fullerton. You know me, I just HAD to check it out even though I barely had room for it, haha! It's a fairly new shop that opened about a yeat ago, and I am guessing from the decor that the owners love cats. There are mini cat figurines all along the glass walls. They have a good amount of drinks, desserts, and snacks to choose from. I really wanted the Mango Shaved Ice, but it looked too big (and I ate twice before I came, lol), so I'll have to get it next time. I got the Peach Tea with Cheese Foam. It had the clear boba in it, which was nice and chewy. I liked the flavor of it and would definitely get it again. You can order from the kiosk if no one is at the counter. You also need to get the key for the restroom. The prices are average, and the service was pretty quick. There's a parking garage that I think is free for an hour or two, but I'm not sure if you have to pay during the week. I am a fan of Sunny Tea Studio and will return again soon! read more
Great place to study, get work done, or meet up for school work! The place is very clean and has lots of outlets. The rating is 3/5 because the drink was too sweet! I suppose that's what to expect when selecting 75% sweetness. I ordered their fruit tea, which is described as "a refreshing blend of assorted fruits infused in tea, offering a vibrant and fruity experience." It felt like 150% sweetness. Ordering is done via kiosk, and with only one hardworking employee, it took some time for our drinks to be made. So expect to wait and don't be in a rush! The bathroom is clean and unisex, but I wish there were paper towels so we don't have to touch the door (not everyone is hygienic). Overall, I might come back if I choose 25% sweetness on the drink. I'd give it another try, but I haven't been able to rate it higher than 3/5 stars yet. Do give this place a try! read more

Me and my buddy wanted drinks after getting sushi, so we decided to give this shop a try! When you walk in, you can just smell that their drinks are quality. The atmosphere was very inviting and there's two self-order kiosks. We got a Strawberry Cloud (which my bud gave a 8.5/10), Mochi Taro (8/10 for me) and a Matcha Cloud (9/10). The drinks came out fairly fast and in very cute cups! Glad we took a chance on coming here! read more

First time! The decor and ambiance is so warm and inviting! I loved it here. As a fan of demon slayer the figurines were soooo cute!! The service is great, friendly and polite. The mochi box flavor coco was tasty. and my usual Thai tea was good, I wish it was sweeter but regardless it was yummy. I would definitely come back to try their shaved ice. read more
We randomly stopped here for some bubble tea after grabbing lunch nearby. I had no idea this boba shop was tucked between the FedEx office and Wahoo's. The interior is very simple and cute. There are plenty of tables to enjoy your drink or work/study. They have a kiosk to place your order. There was no one at the front counter, but our order was completed in a few minutes. The drinks were decent for a generic brand. We ordered a mango passionfruit tea and an oolong milk tea. You can definitely taste the tea flavors. Both drinks were adjusted to 75% sweetness, which was just right. The boba pearls were soft and chewy. We stopped here out of convenience. Great addition to this corner plaza! Along with The Mugs, I think these places are going to be a hit. Great drink selection, delicious tea that isn't too sweet and a cute spot to hang out and enjoy your tea. Easy parking as well. They offer a select menu of teas and their boba was super soft and yummy! Milk alternatives are also offered but their house milk is non-dairy, which is perfect. Glad I got to try it and would def come back! read more
I got two peach teas with agar boba and one passion fruit tea. Each drink cost $6.75, so I found them pretty expensive compared to other tea shops. However, each drink had great quality, and you could taste the fruit well. The peach taste of my drink tasted great and refreshing. I found the agar boba just acceptable, but I wish the shop offered more fruit toppings. I wouldn't recommend the fruit tea if you don't like drinking pulpy drinks. The cashiers here are also very nice. While I ordered, the cashier offered me a sample of their milk teas. The ambience here is appealing with pretty decorations, background K-pop music, and board games available. Parking here is no hassle due to the free public parking structure on Chapman Ave. read more

A very cute little boba shop tucked away in downtown fullerton. the decor is lovely and they provide games and manga books to borrow while you're there. the menu is small but i am a sucker for...i dunno...sweet quiet workers? he was so nice and polite. i got the peach tea with cheese foam. it had pieces of peach and agar bobas in there. i probably could have done without the foam but i didn't ask for any modifications. the drink was delightful. he also gifted me an order of mochi on a stick. it was SO GOOD! so soft and chewy and not too sweet. i think they gave it out because i was there near closing and they had 3 left. there were a few people sitting there studying and a couple on a date playing games. it was cute! and they have cartoon cat videos playing on the tv. read more

This place is right in Downtown Fullerton but it's a little hidden. I ordered the Mango Green Tea with Crystal Boba. It took a really long time for our drinks to come out and I felt so bad because it looked like there was only one worker there making all the drinks for the other five groups that were in there. The drink was very good and the worker was so nice to us and apologized for the wait. read more
It took a long time for instant ramen and a drink to come out. Also, the ramen made me nauseous and made my friend get a stomachache. I don't recommend getting the food but if you do then maybe ask to have the toppings removed because it comes with spam and artificial crab and I'm thinking the toppings went bad rather than the ramen itself since ramen has a long shelf life. read more

The store was so cute!! I loved the sofa seatings they had. The music was also very peaceful & you could barely hear them making the desserts in the back. There was a kiosk to order, so the worker only came out when our order was ready. We got the mango bingsu. They were very generous with the amount of mango, as well as the portion size. My bf and I couldn't even finish it. It was the perfect post-dinner sweet treat though. read more
While I was in Downtown Fullerton, I came in on a whim because I just liked the cat mascot. The location itself is very nice with a few tables for groups and some stools for individuals. It was decorated with little cat figures and flowers. They even had some manga and games available for guests to play. In terms of ordering you can order from the register or use the tablet to figure out what you want. Honestly I love having the options for convenience. So why the three stars? This is the most expensive boba that I have bought, it ended up being around $8.00 for the super fruit tea and I didn't even add anything extra to it or for a large size (I believe it was only one size available) Now I thought maybe it's just very high quality tea. It didn't taste that special to me, the flavor was mostly citrus, watermelon, and orange with some tea as an aftertaste. To me this was very standard and honestly I'm not sure if it's worth going all the way to Downtown Fullerton just for this. Maybe i needed to choose a different drink? read more

The shop itself was very cute, it had a nice calm, relaxing, perfect for studying vibe. There were so many cute decorations that caught my eye and I believe the manga was available for reading, which is a cool feature. One downside to this shop is definitely its size as it felt like there was very limited seating. The service was great, the workers were eager to help, super kind and positive. The drinks itself were okay, they lacked a lot of strong flavor in my opinion. Although I did order for it to be less sweet, I don't believe that this was the cause of my critique. read more

This place was absolutely amazing. The customer service is very nice. The drinks themselves were absolutely perfect. I highly recommend getting the new Matcha Cloud, i also got a Mango Passionfruit tea for my mom and she adored it. The inside of this place is also super cozy. There's manga for you to read and the decoration is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend trying this place out!! read more

Amazing The shaved ice here is so yummy! Tran took our order and she was so nice and helpful. The cafe is so pretty with cute decorations all around as well as books for customers to read. The sticky rice ball with matcha powder is very good as well if you like chewy textures. The shaved ice is dairy free besides the ice cream on top. The seating inside is so comfortable perfect for studying. Can't wait to come back! read more
Ohhhh I love this place! The ambiance is so nice, perfect place to study or catch up with friends! They have a good selection of milk and fruit teas as well as coffee I can't decide which one I loved the best. The below is what we got: 1.Bubble Oreo milk tea- super creamy and rich with the right amount of Oreos, surprisingly not too sweet! 2. Super fruit tea- loved the combination of the fruits in a tea! 3. Mango complex- my favorite! The sweetness, flavor and amount of mango in this is perfection! Paired with the freshly made boba! heavenly! 4. Thai tea meet coffee- super smart way to get double your caffeine! 5. Strawberry tea with cheese foam- I loved this too and was really surprised by the combination of the the tea and cheese foam! Really went well together. 6. Sticky rice ball with soybean powder- I have to say this is another favorite too! The right amount of sweetness, the chewy rice ball slathered with the perfect amount of foam and soybean powder! Big fan of boba places so I was excited to try a new place that opened near my home and I would have to say, too much was put into the decoration and the atmosphere of the place and not enough attention was placed on the menu pricing and the speed of service. I ordered the fresh milk with osmanthus rice cause I like osmanthus and thought it was infused into the milk and a mango complax which sounded interesting cause it was a hot day and I wanted a drink for my gf and I. Honestly disappointed that fresh milk costs 6.50... when I got home and drank it, my reaction was... I paid 6.50 for literally milk and a little fermented rice. Yup, not doing that again, too overpriced for my taste buds. The mango complax which I ordered for my gf at least had a bit better flavor, but I realize the bottle choice they went with does not make any sense, why have a soda tab when you're going to stick a plastic straw into the drink... Not saying it'll happen, but metal scraping off micro-plastics could be possible. Yeah, with grand opening there was a discount for second drink, but I can't imagine spending the premium on a normal day of $13 for 2 drinks pre-tax when it takes 30 minutes to complete 4 orders, mine being the 4th order. Things to consider fixing, the price point, way too overpriced for the area. Take boba time for example, 2 blocks down, 25% difference in pricing. With 2 drinks, you are paying a 50% markup. Get rid of the soda tab bottle, it doesn't make sense to drink from a soda tab bottle with a straw especially with toppings at the bottom of the drink. Provide more training. I understand it's newly opened but I went to another boba location that opened last week with lines packed, they were able to push out quality and custom drinks in respectable time. Here, 4 orders, equating to 7 drinks and 1 order of sticky rice balls. Lets say 8 drinks per hour, averaging $7 per drink, that's still only $56 an hour. read more
I read the other reviews, but of course, I had to see for myself. There were 2 customers relaxing in the shop. It was very quiet. I was immediately greeted and the barista seems friendly, though maybe a bit impatient with my indecisiveness. The drinks are a hefty cost. The container is cute but not worth the price because of the taste. I ordered A4 and my husband purchased C1. We probably wouldn't have gotten a second drink if it weren't for the Grand Opening BOGO. It took a while for our drinks to be made and there was no one in front of us in line. We did not modify anything with the drinks. As we drank them, we noticed that they both lacked good flavor and were not very sweet. The ratio in A4 left me with a lot of topping and not a lot of tea. The shop is new, so it seems to be quite clean and has plenty of areas to plug in a laptop or other device. Unfortunately, I don't think I would go again. read more

New boba tea in the plaza with FedEx so parking is inside and wasn't difficult I got the peach tea with cheese foam and it had perfect sweetness and cheese foam was good :) I prefer my teas to be not as sweet so this was perfect! Not a huge fan of cheese foam so I got half and it was perfect. I also liked how it came in a can! Super cute! Inside had seating and clean. Very cute interior as well :) They did have a small selection of board games and manga books too Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

It's a nicely decorated place but understaffed. We waited about 50 mins for 5 drinks, and there were only 2 customers ahead of us. We noticed there only 1 worker working which was why I drinks took too long. The drinks were not that great either. The only one I liked was the Mango Passion Fruit Tea. Can study here as there are outlets. read more

I visited this place recently with a friend and before we entered we loved the unique design of the building! Once inside we were quickly greeted and ordered two specialty drinks. It was the middle of the day on a Saturday and not really busy, which was nice. Both of us liked our drinks and we tried the soy mochi as well. Oh the cute kitty decor was a plus!! read more
