Portion size very generous and the shaved snow was veryyy soft for it being ice. The place is well lit and a decent place for people to whoop out their laptop to work/study. It is a tad bit small place for a group of any larger than 5 to come hang cause it looks like they had only 1 outdoor space table that could accommodate that size and maybe 2 indoor tables that could fit a group of 4. Otherwise, it's ideal seating for 2 people mostly
Enjoyed my time at this cutely decorated cafe in Fullerton. If you like aesthetic, whimsical shops then this spot is for you- there are trinkets all over the shop and the decor makes the vibe fun and playful. My friend and I got the mango passion fruit tea and peach oolong tea. Both were solid and not too sweet. Service was alright. No staff members said anything when we entered or ordered on the kiosk, nor did anyone call our orders/names out when our items were ready- the drinks were just placed on the counter without any communication. Regardless, I'd come back for the drinks.
Beautiful and cozy with delicious assortment of drinks and desserts. Ordered the seasonal Peach & Lime Refresher with lychee and it was so good and perfect for the summer. Recommend light sugar, light ice. I also tried the Roasted Oolong Latte w/ Boba. The flavor is also good in this one. Boba is fresh but a little on the chewy side. Not too sweet either, mostly a texture addition. It's a very clean cafe with so much seating and charging ports, so a spot for work/study or casual hangouts. It's so quiet and calming here, especially around opening time, and I adore the personality in the decor here! Parking is very easy and accessible in the attached structure. Price point is good for the value. Service is kind too. Wish I was a local so I could stop by often and get work done here. Highly recommend you check this spot out!
On this most recent visit, what did we order? - Matcha Cloud w/Boba - Oreo Shake w/Boba - Cocoa Crunch I can't thank Savina the shop girl enough actually. Initially because I didn't see any coffee offerings on their menu, I ordered a tea. But later in conversation I asked her if they had any coffee. "We do, but just one." She went on, "Would you like that?" She said she hadn't started the tea I ordered yet and it would be an easy swap. I replied "Yes." I'm so glad we did it. Cocoa Crunch is my definite go to moving forward. I'm not a big boba tea drinker personally, but my kids love it so I'm usually just left without a coffee option. Problem solved! Thanks Savina! In terms of ambiance, I noticed they did some redecorating. Seating is changed, kinda takes away from the aesthetic but on the positive it increased the amount of seating. Books, one of my daughter's favorite features of Sunny Tea, looks like they removed an entire collection. She was so sad to see it go. Till next time
Mango shaved ice? Yes please! Went for an after-dinner dessert. Found they used what looked like champagne mangoes! Whatever mangoes they used, it was amazingly sweet. Probably could have eaten two of them haha. Will be back.

Sunny Tea Studio is a great spot in Downtown Fullerton to cool off on a hot day! I tried the Strawberry Shave Ice, Peach Cloud, Lemon Jasmine Tea, and Matcha Mochi Box, and everything was delicious. The shave ice was light, fluffy, and refreshing, the drinks were flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the matcha mochi was soft, chewy, and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly, and the shop had a welcoming atmosphere. Decor of the shop was a cute themed spot.
Cute shaved ice and Boba spot. I ordered via kiosk. Strawberry Shaved Ice for one. It was absolutely icy delicious. Mmm! Loved the fresh strawberries. Lime Peach refresher. Love the peachy Jasmine tea. It was refreshing drink. Service was fast. Friendly staff.

We visited this adorable spot on Mother's Day and had a lovely experience! My brother was craving shaved ice, and my niece recommended it. The charming decor features cherry blossoms, anime comic books, and cute figurines, creating a great atmosphere for families & students. We tried jasmine mousse tea, peach oolong mousse tea, soybean shaved ice, and matcha/choco mochi. The mochi was my favorite--soft and perfectly sweet! The jasmine tea was delightful too. Everything got a solid 5/5 from me, and the exceptional service made our visit even better! We loved it.
This dessert café has a charming and cozy interior with plenty of spacious tables, making it a comfortable place to study, work, or catch up with friends. The seating layout is definitely one of its biggest strengths, and the service was pleasant enough. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable sewage-like odor inside that made it difficult to fully enjoy the atmosphere. The café was also surprisingly warm, which wasn't very comfortable while sitting for an extended period. As for the desserts, the portions were incredibly generous, so you'll definitely get a lot for your money. However, they were far too sweet for my taste, making it difficult to finish them. If you have a strong sweet tooth, you may enjoy them more than I did. Overall, it's a cute spot with great seating and oversized desserts, but the unusual smell, warm indoor temperature, and overly sweet flavors would keep me from returning regularly.
I really love the drinks at Sunny Tea Studio every summer I know to come to try their strawberry cloud. It's so good and not overly sweet and goes down easy. Service is nice and straightforward there are 2 tablets to place your order and the lovely workers place the food out in front when ready. Wait time was less than 15 min during lunch hour when the college and high school lets the students out. Ambiance is very chill and cozy the Sakura trees are cute and it is a good getaway from the heat.
Such a charming cafe! There is a decent amount of 2-up seating inside, making this place great place to catch up someone one on one. We tried ordering from one of the two kiosks, and when the card reader didn't work, we were helped at the register right away. Their "perfect sweetness" is not sweet AT ALL, and I say this as someone who is more sensitive to sugar. MANGO MOCHI: 5/5. I've never had a drink textured like this before. The "liquid" mochi had a soft and velvety mouthfeel, and the flavor was very much mango-forward. I'd come back for this one. MATCHA COCONUT: 4/5. Holy matcha. I'm a matcha lover and this one was strong, even for me. If this were a group project, matcha did all the work while coconut hung out with friends. While this one was not for me, I can recognize the quality of the matcha here. MATCHA CLOUD: 4/5. Surprisingly good. The cloud had a strong cream flavor and mellowed out the sharp matcha well. I thought this one was more balanced than the coconut. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: 4/5. Pretty solid. The shortcake itself seemed like a plain base with silky smooth cream layers, and the strawberry topping was refreshing and delicious, I wished there was more strawberry incorporated into the cake.

This place is right in Downtown Fullerton but it's a little hidden. I ordered the Mango Green Tea with Crystal Boba. It took a really long time for our drinks to come out and I felt so bad because it looked like there was only one worker there making all the drinks for the other five groups that were in there. The drink was very good and the worker was so nice to us and apologized for the wait. read more

Ohhhh I love this place! The ambiance is so nice, perfect place to study or catch up with friends! They have a good selection of milk and fruit teas as well as coffee I can't decide which one I loved the best. The below is what we got: 1.Bubble Oreo milk tea- super creamy and rich with the right amount of Oreos, surprisingly not too sweet! 2. Super fruit tea- loved the combination of the fruits in a tea! 3. Mango complex- my favorite! The sweetness, flavor and amount of mango in this is perfection! Paired with the freshly made boba! heavenly! 4. Thai tea meet coffee- super smart way to get double your caffeine! 5. Strawberry tea with cheese foam- I loved this too and was really surprised by the combination of the the tea and cheese foam! Really went well together. 6. Sticky rice ball with soybean powder- I have to say this is another favorite too! The right amount of sweetness, the chewy rice ball slathered with the perfect amount of foam and soybean powder! The store was so cute!! I loved the sofa seatings they had. The music was also very peaceful & you could barely hear them making the desserts in the back. There was a kiosk to order, so the worker only came out when our order was ready. We got the mango bingsu. They were very generous with the amount of mango, as well as the portion size. It took a long time for instant ramen and a drink to come out. Also, the ramen made me nauseous and made my friend get a stomachache. I don't recommend getting the food but if you do then maybe ask to have the toppings removed because it comes with spam and artificial crab and I'm thinking the toppings went bad rather than the ramen itself since ramen has a long shelf life. read more
Big fan of boba places so I was excited to try a new place that opened near my home and I would have to say, too much was put into the decoration and the atmosphere of the place and not enough attention was placed on the menu pricing and the speed of service. I ordered the fresh milk with osmanthus rice cause I like osmanthus and thought it was infused into the milk and a mango complax which sounded interesting cause it was a hot day and I wanted a drink for my gf and I. Honestly disappointed that fresh milk costs 6.50... when I got home and drank it, my reaction was... I paid 6.50 for literally milk and a little fermented rice. Yup, not doing that again, too overpriced for my taste buds. The mango complax which I ordered for my gf at least had a bit better flavor, but I realize the bottle choice they went with does not make any sense, why have a soda tab when you're going to stick a plastic straw into the drink... Not saying it'll happen, but metal scraping off micro-plastics could be possible. Yeah, with grand opening there was a discount for second drink, but I can't imagine spending the premium on a normal day of $13 for 2 drinks pre-tax when it takes 30 minutes to complete 4 orders, mine being the 4th order. Things to consider fixing, the price point, way too overpriced for the area. Take boba time for example, 2 blocks down, 25% difference in pricing. With 2 drinks, you are paying a 50% markup. Get rid of the soda tab bottle, it doesn't make sense to drink from a soda tab bottle with a straw especially with toppings at the bottom of the drink. Provide more training. I understand it's newly opened but I went to another boba location that opened last week with lines packed, they were able to push out quality and custom drinks in respectable time. Here, 4 orders, equating to 7 drinks and 1 order of sticky rice balls. Lets say 8 drinks per hour, averaging $7 per drink, that's still only $56 an hour. read more
I read the other reviews, but of course, I had to see for myself. There were 2 customers relaxing in the shop. It was very quiet. I was immediately greeted and the barista seems friendly, though maybe a bit impatient with my indecisiveness. The drinks are a hefty cost. The container is cute but not worth the price because of the taste. I ordered A4 and my husband purchased C1. We probably wouldn't have gotten a second drink if it weren't for the Grand Opening BOGO. It took a while for our drinks to be made and there was no one in front of us in line. We did not modify anything with the drinks. As we drank them, we noticed that they both lacked good flavor and were not very sweet. The ratio in A4 left me with a lot of topping and not a lot of tea. The shop is new, so it seems to be quite clean and has plenty of areas to plug in a laptop or other device. Unfortunately, I don't think I would go again. read more

New boba tea in the plaza with FedEx so parking is inside and wasn't difficult I got the peach tea with cheese foam and it had perfect sweetness and cheese foam was good :) I prefer my teas to be not as sweet so this was perfect! Not a huge fan of cheese foam so I got half and it was perfect. I also liked how it came in a can! Super cute! Inside had seating and clean. Very cute interior as well :) They did have a small selection of board games and manga books too Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

Amazing The shaved ice here is so yummy! Tran took our order and she was so nice and helpful. The cafe is so pretty with cute decorations all around as well as books for customers to read. The sticky rice ball with matcha powder is very good as well if you like chewy textures. The shaved ice is dairy free besides the ice cream on top. The seating inside is so comfortable perfect for studying. Can't wait to come back! read more

This place was absolutely amazing. The customer service is very nice. The drinks themselves were absolutely perfect. I highly recommend getting the new Matcha Cloud, i also got a Mango Passionfruit tea for my mom and she adored it. The inside of this place is also super cozy. There's manga for you to read and the decoration is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend trying this place out!! read more

It's a nicely decorated place but understaffed. We waited about 50 mins for 5 drinks, and there were only 2 customers ahead of us. We noticed there only 1 worker working which was why I drinks took too long. The drinks were not that great either. The only one I liked was the Mango Passion Fruit Tea. Can study here as there are outlets. read more

I visited this place recently with a friend and before we entered we loved the unique design of the building! Once inside we were quickly greeted and ordered two specialty drinks. It was the middle of the day on a Saturday and not really busy, which was nice. Both of us liked our drinks and we tried the soy mochi as well. Oh the cute kitty decor was a plus!! read more

Stumbled across this new cafe in Fullerton right next to The Mugs. Very impressed with the clean, spacious interior and plenty of seats! It was empty when we arrived and the ambience is quiet - perfect for studying. PEANUT BUTTER COFFEE (5/5): If you love PB, this one's for you. It's a subtle coffee, not too strong or sweet, and topped with a fluffy PB Foam. Delicious! read more
The location of this area is pretty hidden. It's inside a building complex. There are a lot of parking spots since there's a parking structure right next to it. The boba shop is really cute inside. Very aesthetic. At the back of the store, there are books and games for anyone to use. There's scrabble and uno. The service was quick and easy. The employee was very polite and friendly. From the looks of the front area, it looked very clean and organized. The menu had good variety. We ended up getting the bubble matcha Oreo milk tea. When I received my order, I didn't expect that kind of container for the drink. It was a can-like container. I don't really think it's necessary to have that kind of container. The drink with boba was $8. I've been to many boba places to know it's kind of expensive for matcha/oreo boba. If I had to substitute the container for something else that would lower the price, I would be okay with it. But they just opened so, I'm hoping the prices would change. Stopped by here with friends and stayed for 2 hours because the drinks were delicious and the vibes were immaculate. The customer service was also top notch and the employee was super sweet and made our drinks quickly. Didn't get a chance to try any food but I will next time. Decided to check this place out as a potential study spot. Clean, plenty of seating, outlets, and free wi-fi. Surprised it doesn't receive more foot traffic. Drinks are A-OK. [Oat]Milk Tea with boba was more on the unsweet/bland side. The Avocado Complex was pretty good, with a stronger flavor profile. Pleasantly surprised with the Large Spicy Cup of Noodles that came with spam and extra crab sticks. Reminded me of hot pot. Workers are attentive and polite. Spent about 2.5 hours here studying, which one worker noticed, and decided to give a free order of Sticky Rice Balls. Closing later at 9:30 PM daily is a huge plus. Will be back. read more

I enjoyed the different texture of bobas & add ins of both fruit teas, I'm a fan of a bitter sweet tea and this hit the spot on a hot day! The girl behind the counter was also really sweet, offering me a free drink while they turned the ac up for me :) It was pretty slow, which made me sad, because the customer service was great in my opinion! There are books for you to read and the place is beautifully decorated! It feels familiar, like a friend owns the place, I say give it a shot! read more

A cute spot to stay to hang out with friends and study. We ordered their peanut butter coffee and sea salt cream cold brew. The peanut butter coffee was great, you can taste the peanut butter and wasn't overly sweet. The sea salt cold brew was also good, but needs time to stir the cream and coffee to get the best flavors. The staff were kind and gave us some sticky rice ball to try out! We got to taste their soybean powder, matcha, and a new flavor they are testing out to add to the menu. My favorite was definitely the matcha. The cream on the sticky rice ball wasn't too sweet and had a great consistency. read more
