This used to be my favorite place and I used to go at least twice a week but the new management must have made pretty significant changes as the teas I used to order no longer taste anywhere the same. 50% sugar is just watered down. And peach oolong really doesn't taste like peach at all. More akin to sugar water with a hint of tea. I gave a few weeks for the new owner to settle in in hopes they would be able to improve but the teas are still watered down sugar water. read more

The newest Feng Cha location in Fullerton has their grand opening event going on this weekend with BOGO deals through today! The first 100 guests got a free drink, which we got thankfully! It's a pretty warm day too so they passed out ice cold water bottles to everyone in line. That was a very nice & cool thing to do for us. I went with the Strawberry Breeze, which is their sweetest fruity drink. Mixed with milk and lychee jelly. It's so refreshing and very strawberry. I tasted the Summer Melon drink and it was very good too, with fresh watermelon pulp inside. They serve some desserts too, and they all sound amazing. My favorite here & my daughter too. ~ Taro Freeze is a slush. Really good taro flavor. My oldest son fav. If you're looking for a much cooler frozen drink. Taste good! I live nearby and when I saw this is the new boba place, I am so excited! As what I read from the reviews that the dessert are so good, the drinks too and it's a cozy place! When I came there, they re not that crowded, and the table arrangements are ok for a limited space, as the store is not that big, the interior is cool, not too loud music as well. We ordered: *Vietnamese Coffee, 4star *Mango Au Lait, 5star (this is my drink, and it's so good, the mango chunks are in good amount, and it's not watery) Oreo Cheese, 5star (oh! This is surprisingly good! The cheese and Oreo taste didn't overpower each other, they mix it well!) For service, they're fast! But! There was a misunderstanding though I actually wanted Oreo cheese cake (dessert) not the drink! That's why I repeated myself before I pay, 2 drinks and 1 cake. This place has the nicest interior I've ever seen. There is water trickling down in front of the sign down to aquarium tanks that they have under the seats. You can hear the sound of the water as you enjoy your drinks & dessert! As for the service, they got my drink wrong the first time but were apologetic and happy to fix it. It was a hot day and our family decided to stop by Feng Cha to order some boba. We ordered online and then drove over to the store. We went inside and we were the only ones there, welcomed by the staff as we walked in. They were really nice and told us to just hang around until they were done. The interior was really aesthetic and clean with white walls and light greenery around the whole store. The seats in the front near the "Feng Cha Fullerton" decor had an aquarium underneath them, so I spent some time looking at what they had swimming in there. I ordered the dirty boba which is what I usually order from Feng Cha. It's a brown sugar milk tea and it was made just the way I like it. The boba was soft and the level of brown sugar was just the right amount. Everyone else really enjoyed their drinks, so it was definitely a successful trip. read more

The mango au lait at this boba place was fantastic. The true mango flavor and use of fresh mango made it incredibly yummy. The boba had just the right chewiness and flavor, enhancing the overall enjoyment. It's the best mango milk drink I've had in OC. Highly recommended! The picture clearly shows that it's supposed to come with boba, so it was pretty disappointing to not get what I paid for. Tried the Vietnamese coffee with salted cheese foam. Very robust coffee flavor, salted cheese foam complimented the coffee nicely. I wish I had buckets of this foam, so good. Tried the tiramisu cake cause it looked interesting. The cake base was like a Filipino mamon, or sponge cake. Very unexpected. Coffee sauce and crunchy bits on top, perfectly sweet and filling. Absolutely amazing spot right by CSUF, they've got a built in waterfall for the signage and an aquarium under the benches for quite the aesthetic! My new go-to for boba, and the desserts here are a plus. The Oreo cheesecake dessert is not a traditional American cheesecake - it's more like a Japanese cheesecake that is airy and fluffy. I haven't tried the other flavors yet because I'm obsessed with the Oreo one! The first time I went here in-person, I was having a really bad day and came here after work as a pick-me-up. I was pleasantly surprised at the claw machines in the back, and the interior decor and furniture are very modern and aesthetically pleasing. I was able to win a stuffed dog from the claw machines which helped me feel a lot better - it's such a small win but it made my day. Each play is 1 token, which is $1. The token converter is right next to the claw machines. The drinks here are fairly sweet, I'd recommend reducing the sweetness level on any brulee milk tea drink. I usually get the cookies & cream milk tea (previously called Oreo brulee, I think) with boba. The boba is always fresh, and a perfect texture and consistency. The brulee makes the milk tea so much more creamy, which I enjoy. Parking in this plaza is always abundant and easy. This plaza is usually never too crowded - a plus for me. read more

Got a basic Milk Tea and the Dirty Boba milk tea, but I was unfortunately disappointed with the flavor as it tasted only like milk. I'm a fan of the Kiwi Tea more because it's refreshing and full of flavor. Service was quick and accurate. Staff was upbeat and nice. Place was clean and entertaining with seats indoor, lounge area with a huge TV, and fish tanks with small fish inside. The indoor restroom was clean. Decent sized parking lot with a few other shops. Drinks are good. Depending on the sweetness level it's hit or miss from one visit to the next. Reason for my review is, in my last couple of visit I've tried to use the offers they send but they've changed their rewards app. However, I'm still receiving text messages of promotions. I mentioned it to the gals there and apologize saying they can't be accepted. I came twice during their grand opening weekend. I didn't expect superb service or drinks bc most grand openings are a mess! But no! Feng Cha Fullerton grand opening was sooo smooth, organized and quick! I had two different cashiers on each visit and they both gave the same positive energy to each new customer no matter how exhausted and overwhelmed they were with the lines of people waiting. Management did a really good job training their team. I'm truly impressed and hope they keep the same consistency even after grand opening! We will be back for years to come as long as the drinks and service is consistent! Interior is also so pretty and inviting. I love the fish tank benches in the front. Good job Fullerton Fengcha! Not sure why it took me so long but I finally tried Feng Cha Teahouse and it's good! Got Taro Milk Tea with Boba 50% Sugar, Green Milk Tea with Boba, Strawberry Breeze No Lychee and Oreo Cheese. My favorites were the Strawberry Breeze and Oreo Cheese. I was really excited to try the taro milk tea, I always love this drink and other reviews were saying that it's good, however, it was a bit of a letdown for me. It tasted more artificial/processed, almost like it was a powder. I also asked for 50% sweet because I don't like my drinks very sweet and it was still very sweet! Imagine if I hadn't asked for that, it would have been even sweeter. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not terrible and sometimes artificial things taste good but this just wasn't what I was expecting, I thought it would taste more like real taro. I also tasted some type of tea in it, not sure what but that definitely added to the flavor profile which I appreciated. If you want a real taro drink, not artificial, I would go to 7 Leaves Cafe. The green milk tea is good, it's pretty standard, wasn't amazing but decent, probably wouldn't get it again though just because it didn't wow me. I didn't adjust the sweetness and it was way too sweet, making me think the drinks here are very sweet. The boba is decent, a bit softer than I'm used to compared to other shops but it has good flavor. The tea to boba ratio is perfect. I do wish they offered mini boba, I love adding it to my drinks. Surprisingly, I'm usually a milk tea kind of gal and strawberry breeze was my favorite of the three drinks I tried. It was full of flavor and not overly sweet, I didn't adjust the sweetness. It's kind of like a slushee/smoothie. I do like that they have some healthier options with just tea and you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. I also really enjoyed the Oreo cheese milk foam sponge cake. I had been dying to try their cakes, they look so good. It's light and airy and the cake isn't overly sweet, the perfect amount of sweetness with the milk foam and Oreos! As of right now, not sure if I would go out of my way to come here since I didn't find a drink that I really liked, however, I definitely want to come back and try some other drinks and maybe I'll find one that really speaks to me. They're located in a shopping plaza with a free parking lot, I had no issues finding parking. There was no wait when I came on a Friday around 4 PM. My drinks and cake came out quick! Service is very friendly and quick. They just recently opened I think a few weeks ago. The inside is casual, very cute and modern. I'll give a fair rating because the inside was nice, the service was fast and kind. But this may be one of the worst boba drinks I have ever had. I ordered the classic milk Tea with boba. Simple, right? The drink itself tastes like stale coffee for some reason. Not tea. The boba is overcooked and absolutely flavorless. This drink is MAYBE in a 12 ounce skinny cup.
