Medium mango and agave coconut bowl
    Jeremy S.

I was glad to have received a coupon to purchase a bowl from Ubatuba at a discounted price from a running event, so I decided to go to their Brea location as I was in the area. My bowl included a mango and agave coconut base with bananas, blueberries, kiwis, and papayas. I went light on dry toppings with coconut shavings and dry almonds. The bases were enjoyable and seemed like a healthy form of ice cream. This was great because I didn't feel too full after finishing my bowl. It was easy to order at the counter as well. There is a good amount of seating inside, but it was quiet toward the evening.

Review # 103/365 Day Challenge Finally visiting here for the Grand opening celebration 10.25.25 It's a Build your own Acai bowl concept. They have a lot of different bases including mango, matcha, pitaya to name a few and it's unlimited toppings. Love this concept. I got a medium bowl w Açaí & pitaya base. Half & half. The fruits were really Freshly cut and was all sweet, My husband and i said it's one of the best bowls we've had honestly. Owner Hya & Noel is awesome. Great customer service and so nice. Made us feel really welcomed. Shop is really clean and up to date w decor and wall art. Have a complimentary water fuel station. Replaced the Creamistry Ice Cream shop. Next to Pho Ha & Panini Grill Kabob. Same plaza as DSW Shoe Warehouse & Lucille's Bbq. Lots of parking available. Prices for the Bowl, small $ 11 medium $ 13 large $ 17 Pretty comparable pricings w acai bowl spots in the area. They currently running a BOGO free Promo during the Grand Opening weekend.

I've been on an empanada binge lately and thought I'd stop in to try the empanadas here at Ubatuba. There was a larger variety available than I had previously seen on line, so that was a nice surprise! I went with 2 savory, 1 sweet: Philly Cheesesteak, Mushroom, and Banana/Dulce de Leche. Apparently the empanadas are shipped to the store frozen and are heated up/prepared as they're ordered, so I did have to wait a few minutes for that to be done. The mushroom one was completely filled with a delicious mix of mushrooms, cheese and onions ~ I'd definitely get this one again! The Philly cheesesteak may have defrosted and refrozen at some point because the filling was all bunched towards the bottom of the empanada, leaving a big empty pocket at the top. All the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak were there, but this one was a miss this time. I'd give it another try to see if the filling is better distributed. The dessert empanada rounded everything off nicely. The filling was evenly distributed throughout and had great flavor without being overly sweet. While I was waiting for my order to come up, I checked out their açaí bowl offerings and was quite impressed! Base choices are limited, but the toppings selection is impressive. I spotted a fresh papaya and a ginger sauce which I haven't seen at other bowl places. I'm looking forward to trying a bowl at a future visit. The store itself is streamlined, nicely laid out, and clean. Seating is plentiful. There seemed to only be one person working, but she was friendly and answered all my questions as a first timer. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Came here after their grand opening because I thought I could get free stuff - turns out it was one day only but we did still score a bogo deal. I got a large bowl with Acai, mango, coconut, and a splash of passion fruit juice. The passion fruit juice really tied the bowl together by adding a nice tang. I topped it with hemp granola, all the tropical fruits and some seeds. The base was pretty good but it kinda tasted like sherbet. I think I would've appreciated a more natural mango or coconut flavor but the sweetness made it feel less healthy. I had peanut and almond butter on mine - the girl who helped me SQUEEZED it on very generously. As nice as that was, it was a bit too much nut butter for me. My husband enjoyed the excess though! My only complaint is the papaya - I know that it can be bitter but I definitely had some pieces that were more bitter than expected. I felt like maybe I was eating a rind? It threw off the flavors of the bowl and made me nervous about scooping another papaya down below. Otherwise, everything was delicious. We'd probably come back but definitely not if I'm seeking something "fresh" and "healthy".

Family game/movie night, got orders for UbaTuba, Krak boba, and some chips...It was 8:50pm and I remember they closed at 10pm but double check and Ubatuba in Brea closes at 9pm!! Aaaahhh Not sure if I could make it... my gps said I'd be there by 8:55 but some places stop taking orders which is completely understandable. I called ahead in case I didn't need to drive there and CHLOE picked up... I was trying to tell her my order just so it wouldn't go past 9pm but she was soooo friendly and said "ah just come in, you'll be fine" This might be such a simple response, but I've experienced so many businesses that even though they close at "a certain time" they just stop taking orders way before. And I get it.. I wouldn't want to start an order at 8:59 while I still had to clean and close everything up, let alone after a long shift and maybe I had some plans?...(who am I kidding I never had plans lol) but seriously.. totally understandable which why CHLOE WAS SO AMAZING!!! Thank you! UBATUBA CONTINUES TO BE OUR FAMILIES FAVE!!!

First time visiting ubatuba açaí was greeted warmly when I walked through the door and was taught how to build my own bowl, I went with the medium size and was also offered samples of the smoothie base for the bowl, everything is unlimited as long as it reasonably fits in the bowl I went with açaí, mango and coconut, they have a ton of health conscious toppings like bee pollen and cacao nibs, a great place to stop by for post gym recovery. Yummy place will be back. Service was great.

I enjoyed Ubatuba Açaí a lot! I ordered two large açaí bowls. There was a large variety of toppings and bases to choose from. The service was good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was nice. There were lots of photographs around the facility and plenty of seating areas. I highly recommend Ubatuba Açaí if you are looking for authentic and delicious açaí!

Tried this place for their grand opening and they had a BOGO deal! I got the large bowl with mango, coconut, and matcha bases. For toppings they had a variety as well and I got chia pudding, bananas, mangoes, blueberries, strawberries. For extra flavor and texture, I got cacao nibs, granola, almond and peanut butter. BYO bowls are always great since you can make it how you like it and the staff is super helpful with recs if you're feeling indecisive!

Stopped in to check out the new Ubatuba Açaí opening. Fun colorful interior in vibrant colors. Good base options including açaí, coconut, and mango with multiple, fresh toppings to choose from.

Fast, great fresh bowls and empanadas. Staff is friendly and helpful and quick. All of the fruit looked freshly cut and appreciated the honesty when I asked if the cut mango was sweet. I wanted empanadas, which take another 10 minutes or so to cook, so they put my bowls in the fridge for me. Atmosphere is clean and bright with a good number of tables that seat 2-4.

Loved uba tuba. Their new location is tiny but has everything. I just give it 4 stars cause 1 large acsi is expensive..but I mean it tastes delicious. If I didn't look at price its 5 stars but dang . The inflation makes me feel like its a luxury to eat acai bowls now But very good with fresh fruits & yummy empanadas!@ staff is extremely bubbly & kind. The interior feels cozy too. Ambiance is chill & calming .

    Delicious

There was a good number of customers still in the store an hour or so before closing. All four of us ordered a drink each, and I think maybe only 1 drink out of the 4 felt pretty good. The other three were subpar, and unfortunately the one drink I ordered was pretty bad. Menu is pretty diverse - they have their classic tea drinks but also some signature items as well. You can customize your drink to your liking, which I thought was pretty nice. I went with the creamy jasmine with less ice and sugar and added boba. This drink tasted like straight up diluted milk - boba was alright and decent, but there was no tea flavor at all. We tried to ask if they could add some additional tea to make the drink stronger, but we were told that they cannot because they'd have to make a whole new batch. My friends ordered signature drinks - some opted for the sparking water option, which definitely made it taste slightly better. Good amount of tables if you want to sit and chat or do some work. Parking is located in the structure nearby. I won't be returning.

Just as I was pulling away out of the parking lot the doors opened up. Maybe I will try again someday but I don't want to guess if they will be open or not. I ended up going somewhere else.
