Went to dinner with my son last night and we both got an açaí bowl with extras included inside. We also ordered a green juice, a ginger shot and 2 pastries. When I got home to eat my bowl, halfway through as I took a bite, I bit into a hard black plastic item. Seemed a chunk from a blender of some sorts - I then tried to call the store over six times and it kept ringing and ringing no answer during business hours while it was still open. I was able to go on the website and send an email but I still have yet to hear anything.. for just the minimal items we got I paid almost $90 including a tip. How upsetting to spend almost $100 at a juice bar just to have plastic in your drink and not be addressed about it. Unfortunately, I will never be back.

Although i don't come as often, Açaí Republic has never failed to satisfy me. I love how pretty they make their bowls and how nice the staff always is! place is nice, calm, and clean. I also found the self order very easy and convenient!

The staff here is always helpful and very friendly. The drinks come out super quick. The fruits are always fresh. They have pretty good music taste as well judging by their playlist. The establishment is clean as well. Highly recommend!!

Açaí has great flavor with the perfect consistency. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. We got 3 different bowls and all of us liked ours very much. The workers were very friendly and helpful. Seating area was comfortable and clean.

Love this place. Food is great, service is amazing, staff is always helpful, and food is delicious. I'm a creature of habit and have stuck to "Layers of Paradise " and their classic San Paulo açaí bowl. Would most definitely recommend. Ambiance is good as well, always clean, and plenty of seating.

WOW.. it's like eating dessert for a meal.. feels like cheating... I seriously crave it now. I've been to a few different places that make Acai bowls and I can honestly say I Love ACAI REPUBLIC. Besides the freshness.. the service is great. I come here almost everyday and Cindy and Josh are super nice. They're like the acai bowls of customer service. Super sweet and I'm pretty sure good for you. lol they're positive, welcoming, and patient.. I've been to places where the employees are distracted or don't want to be there.. but Cindy and Josh are super nice and welcoming. We need more people like them! Btw if you crave Acai bowls like me, you can download their app, get 10% off, and gets reward coins.. I'm probably an Acai Coin millionaire now lol.. Updated January 2024.. I come here pretty frequently.. maybe 2-4 bowls a week (as pictured).. so I order through the app. I usually just click "order again" Well on the notes, In my light humorous words I ask for "as much granola allowed" I write this because finishing with the right amount of granola and acai is heavenly for me. And a while back, they didn't add a layer.. like they forgot.. so hoping I write this.. they definitely won't forget.. Well one guy tells me when I pick up my order "granolas extra".. I said yes and left. I wasn't asking for extra granola.. just as much as allowed... I order again, with the "order again" button as I go often.. and he again is like "granola is extra", I tell him, I'm not ordering extra... and apologize, since I just pressed "order again"... I don't think he understood, whatever, I'll just have to remember to make a new order next time and clear the comments for re orders... All good right? Well... damn there's barely any granola in my bowl... first world problems right? ...But as I'm eating this, this feels very vindictive. Like it wasn't an accident. And now my heavenly bowl is pissing me off.. since he withheld granola on purpose... like dude it's granola... I'm spending over $10 per bowl.. 4 times a week and you're going to get personal, and barely put any granola in bc of my comments? I mean at least put in the normal amount.. and sheesh it's granola?!?!?! I can buy a bag for $5... I'm sure it cost less than the Acai mix... Everyone else is cool, but unfortunately, I can't tell who's working there until I pick up.. but I'll try some new spots to at least avoid this dude. Or make my own.. with enough granola to finish harmoniously.. hmm.. I could probably pre-make for the whole week and add granola afterwards... it'll probably cost less, and save me some money! I like that. I guess if he was trying to teach me a lesson, he did a great job. Thanks

I'm not the biggest fan of acai (maybe because I don't get it often), but wow! This acai place was amazing and I have so many great things to say about their smoothie. I got the Brazilian blend in a smoothie, which is a mix of their acai, banana, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and guarana. I added a scoop of their whey protein powder to mine, and you don't even taste it in the drink! They fill it to the brim of the cup, which was really nice to see. And the taste of the acai smoothie is so rich and you get a really nice fruity flavor that balances out the acai. It's also super refreshing and surprisingly pretty filling too! The place is clean and neat, with amazing service that greeted us when we got to the counter. Come to Acai Republic if you're in the mood for an acai bowl or a great smoothie! read more

Amazing açaí bowls, and even better service!! They are so nice and extremely helpful here and left my family and I very happy and excited to try our açaí bowls. This was our first time trying açaí republic and it made a great first impression. Really fresh ingredients, and I love that you can customize your bowls. And buy it here is best for me, the place is so clean and the staffs are kind, be sure to tip them! The one thing I realized is just...my awesome double stroller didn't fit in the door! Oh my.. Me and my friends came in for nation açaí day and josh and Anna helped us-- and they were the sweetest people. I rarely leave reviews but out of all the açaí republics I've been at, the vibes here are so peaceful and positive!! Nothings better than walking into a place where you feel appreciated!! I have admit I was completely underwhelmed. I love me some Açaí...hard to judge against Hawaiian version, but still. My wife and I had been wanting to try this for so long. Don't know if we just built it up, but meh. There is essentially no seating inside. Menu...again fine, nothing amazing. Flavors were just so so and matched the service attitude. I guess nothing worse than just being basic, boring and blah. read more

Terrible workers. Can't get my order right when it is simply stated on the receipt. Didn't even order bee pollen in my bowl. Where'd that come from?? Also clearly stated on the receipt NO BANANA AND NO BLUEBERRY. What went wrong? Workers do not read the orders correctly. Excellent Service, nice little gem in Placentia. The smoothies are fresh and good. Nothing crazy but will consider coming back ! I just can't get over the price! I get inflation has caused some major changes but my goodness almost $10 for a smoothie no changes to it or add-ons!? Overall it was a good experience, but I wouldn't be buying smoothies for my kids here every week cause that would drain us quickly!! read more

Great acai bowl place friendly staff. Ordering was pretty easy on the ipad. They are credit cards only, no cash. Lots of parking outside. Plenty of seating inside. I got the acai cali bowl for $12. I stumbled upon this place after grocery shopping at Ralph's. In the same plaza. Next to Flame Broiler My 1st time having Açaí Republic was back in December 2020. I've never heard of them. I grabbed the Cali bowl, my favorite & my hubby got the Hawaiian. Told myself I'll definitely be back. Finally went back last day of February after grocery shopping at Ralph's Needed something refreshing and a boost for my lazy Sunday brunch. The associate are very nice. Great customer service indeed and very welcoming. I got all medium size bowls. $ 9.75 Notice there was a price increase from my last visits Got the same usual bowls as my 1st visit with adding 2 Madly Mango. One for myself & one for my hood friend I love Açaí bowls and açaí republic seems to be up there as one of the best bowls I've had. Even my friend has switched from our local açaí bowl place to here. The bowls are very flavorful in each bite. Fruits are fresh and nicely cut. The açaí bowls are sweet. I can't seem to tell the difference between the bowls except for the toppings. Have been here sooooo many times in the past couple years. We used to go to an acai/smoothie place in Yorba Linda, but this one is much closer and convenient. And, of course, their stuff is pretty darn good. :) Located in same shopping center as Ralphs, Chase, Popeyes, and Donut Star. Plenty of parking! You can order online, at the store, or via their app. We've had everything on their menu at this point: smoothies, juices, acai bowls, empanadas, cheese balls. Everything has been made to order and fresh when we receive it. Hubby tends to go for the acai bowls and pastry items while I go for the juices. The juice with ginger (Ms. Detox?) is pretty ginger-y so be warned! I tend to go for the green juice, but have been won over the the acerola orange juice just recently! Service has been great. The employees are attentive, helpful, communicative. Huge props to them! Prices are fine. For what you get, it's worth it. Will be visiting when we can! read more

2 stars for the service. What is up with the young male worker behind the counter. No greeting other than "are you ordering? You can just order from there" points to their super large monitor which is incredibly lame. 1. Obvi were ordering, why else did we come in here. 2. I told her i wanted 3 empanadas and order acai bowls and her vibe was very negative with unpleasant tone. I could tell right away she didnt want to work and didnt want to help me. I gave her 3 orders of empanadas and asked her to give me 2 medium acai bowls. Gave her clear instructions what to have for 1st bowl and 2nd bowl, which she did but seemed frustrated? It was our first time here and i was asking her few questions and she was clearly annoyed also. Once we got to the step to put some different syrup drizzle for both cups, she mixed it up and made a mistake. I clarified again i wanted honey drizzle on mango and almond butter on acai, and she asked me with a attitude "so you dont want these bowls?" It almost felt like i wasted her time and work! Her attitude was the worst ive seen this year at any restaurant. I said yes because my girls dont eat peanut butter and we just want the right order, i wasnt upset rather confused. Once I asked her to remake the right order, her face turned dark and she was clearly upset. At the end she brought the cups, did not even apologize, gave me all the attitude, and gave me the bags and did not say anything... no thank you for coming, NO sorry there was a mistake, nothing. I felt really bad for the owner of this place because store seems to be new and running well but has a cancer in their store. The restaurant can have best price, best quality, best presentation but if you have horrible customer service oriented staff, they will run out of business. As a small business owner myself, I hope the owner(s) read this message Please retrain your staff and if they cannot embrace basic customer service skills, they shouldn't be working for you They will drive your store to ZERO In case if the owners are curious, the girl who assisted us had tattoos in her both arms. I didnt see any name tags, she had dark skin, maybe Asian, but had tattoos on her arms. Unfortunately this will be the first and last time coming. I hope all customers are ready to have unpleasant experience with the staff.

The baristas prioritize in-person orders. On multiple occasions, I've ordered 10-15 minutes before arriving and end up getting my drinks after customers who I see ordering in person. Pro tip: if you're in a rush, don't do a mobile order.

On Monday, January 26th, 2026, I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this Acai Republic location. From the moment I attempted to place my order, the service was unprofessional and hostile. An employee named Illiana (also referred to as Illiana/Alyana/Ylliana/Ilianna/Iliana) came out shouting and repeatedly yelled in my ear while I was trying to order a small smoothie. I politely asked her to lower her voice, but she refused and continued yelling in my ear. At one point, she even told me to contact corporate about her behavior, implying that she did not care about treating customers respectfully. I then asked for assistance from Josh, the assistant manager, who was equally rude. He repeatedly interrupted me and insisted that I didn't want a smoothie at all. When I asked him to listen, he initially charged me for a regular (large) smoothie instead of the small I requested. Even after correcting the order, when he handed me the Tahiti smoothie, it was poorly prepared and did not resemble the Tahiti smoothie at all. This experience reflects a serious lack of training and professionalism. Staff must communicate respectfully with customers, ensure orders are prepared correctly, and charge accurately. The behavior I encountered was unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. read more

This Acai Republic location never fails to impress me. Every time I come in, the quality is consistent and the ingredients always taste fresh. My go-to order is the Mango Madness açaí bowl--it's the perfect balance of sweet, refreshing, and filling. I've also tried their coxinha, and it's delicious--crispy on the outside, savory on the inside, and just the right size for a snack. I love that they have unique options you don't usually find at other spots. The atmosphere is laid-back, clean, and welcoming, and the staff here is always pleasant and attentive. I went in to get two maddly mangoes with my family. There was a girl cutting strawberries where they top the bowls. That girl sort of forced us to use the app because "she was busy to take an order". There was also another girl who came and handed the bowls to us but this one apologized for the bad treatment the other girl gave us. read more
