This used to be one of my favorite locations but lately it's been very inconsistent. In a previous order, they accidentally added blueberry instead of strawberry, but at least the cup was properly filled. This time, the cup was barely half full, and even though I paid for extra toppings, they hardly added any. When I mentioned it to the employee, her response was, "Okay, so what do you want me to do about it?" with an dull attitude. Overall, very disappointing and not worth the extra money. NEKTAR ~~~~~~ Nektar is a juice bar in my hometown, and I always enjoy supporting local businesses! I'm in an ACAI BOWL phase, so i'm constantly craving one 24/7! As soon as I walked in, the place was clean/sleek with the sweetest girl workers! Unfortunately, this acai bowl didn't hit the spot : ( It wasn't necessarily bad by any means -- it just didn't hit my personal standards. Typically, I enjoy a thick, creamy base of acai. Sadly, the flavor was a bit off -- it tasted different than acai/was underwhelming in the sweetness category. Also, it wasn't to my consistency of choice. I have to say that the granola was great-quality though ,,, and the fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and bananas) were fresh! The portion-size was also good with an aesthetically-pleasing look~ Even though the acai bowl wasn't the greatest, I completely understand that that would be the case, as it specializes as a juice bar. This being said, I hear that their pressed juices are phenomenal! : ) Looking forward to trying one of their juices next time! read more

I live in the area so decided to stop by and try and acai bowl. I ended up getting the Acai Banana Berry bowl. First, I thought the fruit they put on it was fresh and delicious. Second, I thought the rest of the items in the bowl were also very good. My only concern is that although it appears healthy it is loaded with carbs, sugar and calories. Not the heartiest thing you can eat. But once in a while it is nice to indulge. read more

I came in to get a parfait and a bowl. One of the girls who was CLEANING with DIRTY gloves checked my order on the screen and started making my parfait with the same dirty gloves that she used to clean. She was using the broom and cleaning the floor with the gloves and proceeded to cut my fruit and use her fingers to clean the inside of the bowl. She then started making and touching our waffles with the same dirty gloves and finally changed them when she dropped something. Although after she changed to clean gloves she kept putting her hair behind her ears. I wasn't going to say anything because it's not my job to tell someone to do their job properly and safely. It's likely not her fault either but management's for not teaching proper food safety and hygiene. read more

Every time I come to this Nekter, it is always so clean, bright, and inviting. I feel healthy just being inside. I went here on a whim today, originally going to Starbucks but wanted something healthier. I ordered the chia with fruit, it tasted just as expected (everything tasted fresh). My daughter had the acai bowl. I did not have a chance to taste hers since she does not like to share so I will try it myself next time along with a smoothie and update my review. read more

The owner accussed me of messing up his bar due to my jacket shedding on floor and all I do is buy water. I corrected him we spend $400.00 on the bowls and shakes since June. He said " That for 2 hours my jacket made a mess on his floor and that I leave my water at the table which isn't true. He told me didn't want to say anything but he made a fuss and that I don't buy anything. I offered to sweep up my jacket and he get angry! I don't understand his attitude towards me and he says that I don't respect them which isn't true. I was shocked that he said that because I'm respectful. He doesn't know how to treat customers instead he blames them instead of taking responsibility for his actions. I won't be coming back. read more

Wow came here to pick up an order and both workers were busy so I decided to use the restroom so they will have time to finish what they were doing. Was trying to be considerate. I also had to use the restroom to wash my face because I was crying because I had sad news about my grandmother...and the Asian guy literally followed me into the bathroom saying it was for customers only. Felt very violated that he would follow me into, instead of telling me the rules afterwards, since I was already inside the restroom. I told him I am here to pick up! He was treating me like some homeless guy trying to use the restroom. Never coming back to this establishment. Telling all my friends to avoid this location. This Nekter Juice Bar location is guaranteed to give you the best service with the freshest quality of bowls,smoothies and juices. The owner Joshua and all the staff are the sweetest people you will ever meet. Joshua is one of the most hard working and dedicated owners I have ever seen. You can really tell how much effort he puts into running this store and the quality of what you're receiving. The store lobby and restroom has been spotless in all my visits. The presentation of each bowl is guaranteed to be beautiful and the juices and smoothies are always consistent. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Wow. The girl working in here was rude, lazy and slow. I ordered online and when I walked in to pick it up, there was nobody in the store and nobody appeared to be working. So I thought they were in the restroom and I stood there for about four minutes. Something didn't seem right so I walked to the register and peered into the kitchen and saw her standing there drinking a smoothie and sucking the straw like nobody's business while texting on her phone. I said "hello" and she just looked rudely at me like I was bothering her. I told her I got a smoothie to go. And I kid you not, all' she did was grab it out of the fridge, verify my name, and then drop it on the counter without saying a word and walked away. WTF..???! Who is this girl!! Drink was good but that doesn't make up for the poor abs rude customer service. It was on Monday 3/7 at 4:45pm read more

Who doesn't love Nekter? Being a resident of Brea there's actually quite a few juice spots to choose from and also another Nekter location but personally this one is my favorite. I love how close it is first of all but this location for the most part is pretty quick with orders so there's hardly a long line like some Nekters I've been to. My personal favorite go to's are the toxin flush, PB bowl and pink flamingo. The PB bowl is this delicious nutty bowl with hints of fruit and homemade granola. It's not often that I get a chance to drink/ munch on fresh items so leaving Nekter always makes me feel better than when I walked in. Don't forget your Yelp check in! Have not reviewed this location in over 2 years! I can honestly say the service here has improved significantly! So many hard workers here! I live in the lofts on birch so I am a frequent customer now and understand how much they go through for creating fruit smoothies and bowls! The staff adjustment has been a major impact! I can honestly say I love coming here for my cold brew smoothies and health nut smoothie! The protein smoothies are phenomenal! Honestly everything I've had here has been made with love and care with the proper ingredient balances! I will definitely say they have improved so much! The Strawberry Banana protein is my go to after the gym! I love that I can include Whey Protein. I've been a regular customer for a few years and over the last year I've noticed that their customer service has really improved! My family and I walked in and got greeted with "we're closing in one minute". We ordered quickly and Amber gave us the worse attitude ever. Snatched my debit card from my wife's hand, and gave the receipt with a heavier attitude. I understand that you close by 6, but we are paying customers who's kids just wanted açaí bowls. Once Amber finished their bowls, she just dropped them at the pick-up window without making eye contact or even telling them it was ready. First time ever at this place and definitely the last, if I could give them a half a star based on customer service I would. read more

No eye contact, no greeting and doesn't even say the total $ amount owed. She mindlessly, sloppily dumps the groceries in the bag. The first time I went, she shoved everything into 1 overstuffed bag, so I asked for an extra bag on the side. If I hadn't gotten another bag, it would have ripped. I had to redo everything in the car and noticed the smashed produce and bread in the middle and bottom of the bag. She put all of the other heavier items on top of them including cartons of milk and eggs. This employee has been there the last 3 times I've gone. So I filled out the contact form on the website about the terrible customer service and NEVER received a response. In addition to the awful customer service (only from this 1 employee), several times the produce I bought ended up rotting way too quickly. Their healthcare section just got downsized a lot too. This location has gone downhill! I hadn't been to Sprouts in Brea for a long time, and went there instead this past weekend - more selection, better prices and MUCH better customer service!!

Large Acai Primo Bowl x2 Açaí-berry blend topped with banana, strawberry, granola, blueberry, honey. It had been about a year since we've had a smoothie from Jamba and this reignited our love for them. It was first time ordering a Acai bowl and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We went on a day where there was only 1 person working. She is a boss! Taking orders, prepping orders, and etc. There is one table on the inside (to the left) and plenty of games on top of the drink fridge on the right of the store. There is also booth seating but I have never seen anyone sit there and enjoy their items. Most people buy to go. There is usually plenty of parking since we go during the day, and the restaurant (which used to be The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and another coffee shop before them) next door was not open when we visit Jamba.
