The store is super cute with a bear wall, tables available to take a seat. Got the Ceylon black milk tea and I really enjoyed my drink. The tea wasn't overly milky with the tea flavor still strong and present. Absolutely loved the boba, it was chewy and sweet. Definitely will be back to try out other drinks! read more

Came here about a month ago, been meaning to write a review for a while but did not have the time to do it. Drinks were good but the service was far below average. We had to wait 55 minutes for 3 drinks when we were the only customers there. The employee was a bit rude when we asked him the status of our drinks nicely and politely, he only shouted "just wait!". When we finally got them there was no interaction whatsoever. He just handed our drinks with a dirty look on his face. no "here you go" or "sorry for the wait!" Or you know, ANYTHING! Too bad we actually loved the drinks but i don't think we're ever going to come back. If anything, maybe have it delivered so we don't have to see the rude employee. Mind you, we almost exclusively only eat out (10+ a week), so we've been to many different restaurants but by far, this place's service is the worst :( read more

Jasmine Green Milk Tea 5/5: super floral and refreshing--perfect for a chill drink! Osmanthus Oolong Tea w/ Cheese foam 3/5: wasn't a fan :/ ! The cheese foam tasted kind of powdery, which just didn't vibe with me (can't even finish my drink sorry). Stick with the Jasmine if you're looking for a winner! This is my 4th time coming here and while I think the drinks are good and the presentation is great, the wait gets me every time. Each time I've been here, there were no parties in front of me and I've had to wait long periods of time each time. The first 2 times I've been there, they were training staff which is understandable. Those times I ordered 2 drinks and waited over 30 minutes. The most recent 2 times I've order 4-5 drinks and have had to wait 20 minutes and once 40 minutes. The layout is a bit confusing as you can't see the drink menu at the register, you have to step back to look and then back to the register. Overall I would say this is a great place IF you have time to spare and not in a rush. There is no online ordering system other than DoorDash, which has fees added to each drink, so you're forced to order in store which takes forever. read more

cute boba shop with drinks and taiwanese desserts. this spot took over fourtea (rip) and it's a pretty cozy spot for milk tea. i've tried their most popular drink mango pomelo as well as some of their milk teas and one of their desserts. overall a decent spot but nothing amazing - a nice boba run location. read more

Understanding that the workers here are still in training but maybe train them better perhaps? They don't know how to even answer my question properly after repeating my question few more time. "What's the sugar level here? What's the least sugar in terms percentage?" Since there's no sugar level anywhere on the menu . On my cup is 100%, on my receipt is 75%, and I asked for the least sugar, very little sugar. My drink was way too sweet I can't taste the tea. They're also very slow btw :) Please retrain them better at welcoming customers and introduce/advertise your menu for first time customers since y'all just open, you would want customers to have good experience here and come back yeh? read more

I've gotten a milk tea and a dessert bowl from bear cup. The milk tea was fantastic but the dessert was superb!! A must try! They've also gotten more and more bears up as decorations, they're adorable! The server was amazing as she helped me figure out how to receive my student discount for my offer. I ordered a Ceylon Milk Tea with Boba and it came out quickly! The taste of the milk tea was very rich and the boba was warm and soft which gave a great contrast from the cold milk tea. When I walked in I was greeted kindly by the cashier worker. She was patient when I was looking at the menu at the abundance of drinks and desserts. Looking around I saw so many cute bear plushies. They looked like they were mini workers and the place so true it is name: Bear Cup! The cute bears were too adorable that I wanted to buy one but I think they were employees of the shop. I rate the drink, service, and place a 5/5 stars and will come again when I'm visiting Fullerton. read more

Went here last night and they were out of cheese foam, which was a bit disappointing--but totally understandable, it happens. I ordered the Taro Coconut Bowl and a Taro drink with chestnut boba. I went with 30% sweetness, which might've been too low for my taste, so that part's on me. I personally didn't love the flavor combo, but the quality was definitely there, so I'm still giving it 4 stars. I hate to leave a 1 star review, but unfortunately I can't recommend this place at all. I got a Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with boba, size large, about $6.50(ish) Tea quality: Poor. Tasted watery, the tea flavor was not strong at all. Boba quality: Poor. Terrible texture - it was too hard. And it had a weird aftertaste. Customer service: Poor. They had forgotten my drink and I was waiting for a while. When I went up to ask, all 3 employees just looked at me, then looked at each other (like blaming each other for forgetting the drink haha) but then instead of turning to me and communicating "Sorry, we will make it right away" etc, not a single one of them said anything to me lol. So I awkwardly walked back to a table to wait. Wouldn't waste your time coming here. The taste is terrible and I threw away the drink after trying it in my car. read more

Went for the first time Friday at 630pm. Not crowded. Tried their Taro Mochi Bowl and it was yummy! It was in a cute bucket type bowl and they provided a small container of some kind of milk to put in the bowl before eating. It was sooo good. Even my kids who are not big taro flavored eaters loved it ;) read more

I stopped by to check this new place out and tried their milk tea out. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was superb! I also tried out their popcorn chicken and that was delicious too. The overall atmosphere was great, especially the wall of bears. It is a cozy place to just chill and have a bite to eat. The service was also great and quick. I highly recommend. read more

I noticed this new spot last week on my way to work and finally had a chance to stop by ! It was so cute from the menu display to the sitting area. The cashier was very sweet and helped me decide on the brown sugar milk tea. It was tasty. They also have endless customizations like toppings/sweet level/ milk alternatives/ and food/desert options. First time here, and the green grape Jasmine green tea caught my eye since it isn't a very common flavor. The cashier today was very helpful and highly recommended it! She let me substitute the agar boba for normal boba and gave her recommendations for sweetness as well. The drink and the boba came out tasting amazing! The grapes were freshly crushed as well. We got a Fruity Coconut Jelly. Was yummy! And decent portion size. It comes in a little cute plastic bucket with a lid. No Meet Fresh around so this is as good as it gets. Customer service is not good and it was my first time at Bear Cup. I had a coupon for a free drink. On the physical coupon it doesn't say what drinks are or not included. I assumed I could get any drink, I asked for a drink of my choice. The female worker was not friendly and said the milk teas are the only drink I can get. I then proceeded to ask her what she recommended she seemed very annoyed when I asked her that question and gave me one recommendation. I will not be coming back due to lack of professionalism it will be my first and last time. A couple day later my friend also told me she had a bad experience which made me reinforce my experience. read more

When I heard my drink get called, another patron actually took my milk tea and started drinking it. Although I had placed an order before them, I assumed it might not have been mine. The bobarista looked at me with wide eyes and asked me what I had ordered. We realized that the person absolutely grabbed the wrong beverage. Instead of making it a big deal, the bobarista decided to make me a new one. This automatically made the service excellent; she had quick problem solving skills and figured out what had happened. In addition, my milk tea was delicious. I had ordered their cookies and cream milk tea. It had Oreo and cookie bits with foam at the top. Their boba was also perfectly sweet with a great consistency. When the food came out, nothing was labeled / not the drinks, not the burritos- and staff couldn't tell us which was which. When I explained that one of us has a dairy allergy and asked them to identify the allergen-free items, I got a blank stare. We opened both burritos: both had cheese, despite my explicit no-cheese request. Their solution? "Can you pick it out?" No. You cannot pick out melted cheese from an allergen order. I was not offered a fresh burrito, just another blank stare until I specifically stated "I need you to remake this with the proper ingredients and confirm what you put in." When I asked for a refund on her incorrect meal, I was told they couldn't refund it "because she left." When I asked to leave written feedback: "we don't accept written feedback." Manager? Not in. Manager's phone number? Don't have it. But here's what pushed this from bad service to abominable: there is no way to hold this place accountable. At no point did anyone acknowledge a mistake had been made or make any real attempt to fix it- every wrong order was met with a shrug and the expectation that I'd just live with it. When I asked to leave written feedback, I was told they don't accept it. When I asked for the manager, they weren't in. When I asked for a manager's phone number or someone to contact, the employee "didn't have access to that." A business that serves people with food allergies MUST have a way for customers to flag problems in real time and reach management. This place has built a system where mistakes can't be reported, refunds can't be issued, and no one is responsible for anything. To be clear, this isn't on the line staff - one employee clearly hadn't been given the language support or training to succeed, and that's a management failure. The other younger employee was just incompetent and unhelpful, even though she was clearly aware of the requests. If you advertise allergen accommodations, you have to execute them, label them, and answer for it when you don't. Until this place fixes its ordering system, its labeling, and its total lack of accountability, spend your money literally anywhere else.

I've had a similar situation at another Sunright location in DTLA when they were out of boba, but they let me know before preparing my order so I could decide whether I still wanted the drink or wanted to change it. That's the kind of customer service I was expecting. When I mentioned that I wished I'd known before ordering, the employee apologized, but it felt so dismissive, as though it wasn't really a concern and they wanted to get back to what they were doing. If you're out of a core ingredient like boba, especially at a boba shop, there should be a notice on the kiosk or customers should be told before their drinks are made. It would save customers from disappointment and make for a much better experience.
