Can't believe I haven't written a review of this place yet. This is my go to boba place when I'm in Buena Park. All their flavors I've had so far have been good. My kids favorite is peach me freezee which has large chunks of actual fruit. My youngest son was not in the mood for his usual peach me freezee and wanted a milk tea without caffeine which other places have their own version of. They didn't quite have that here but one of the employees recommended winter melon milk tea for a non caffeinated milk tea. We were iffy about it and the employee kindly offered to make it and if my son didn't like it he could choose a new flavor. Luckily my son really liked it- creamy milky refreshing drink without the caffeine. Can join their reward point system through their app. read more

This is my go-to spot!! My favorite drinks are all their fruity teas and slushies -- they never miss. The service is always quick and friendly. The only downside is that the self-service kiosk doesn't allow substitutions for things like strawberry or peach bits on certain drinks when you're trying to do a replacement. What can I say? The drinks here are Tastea! My usual drink here is their a tiger milk, tea medium sweet with less ice. It's sweet and delicious and I really love the custard that they put in the drink. If you add Boba just know that it's going to be extra sweet. And of course I had to get their popcorn chicken. I love that it comes with fried basil, but the last time I went there and got their spicy popcorn chicken it wasn't as spicy as it usually is. The service there is always great. They're always friendly and patient with us when we order our food and drinks. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the popcorn chicken mild, I love how they have basil leaves. Generous portion and the space was clean and service was quick because we were the only customers there. Layout of the place looks like the one in Alhambra. read more

I've been going to Tastea since I was college. It was my go to Boba spot before other spots started popping up. I would normally go to either the Rowland Heights or Garden Grove locations back then. I'm so glad they opened up this location just down the street from me! In all honesty I go to Tastea at least once a week and they never disappoint. The staff is always so friendly and even when they're busy the service is still pretty quick and spot on. This visit I got one of regular go to drinks: Peachme Sweetea. All drinks come full sweet so make sure to adjust it to your liking. They also recently introduced the Spuddies and I was curious to try it out. They were cheesy and a great snack to go along with your drink! Plenty of parking as it is shared with other businesses. Great place for a quick sweet tooth craving! The entire menu is actually quite solid and everything I've tried has been tasty. However, be warned that their drinks lean very sweet! My pro-tip: ordering 'less sweet' is the way to go to get the perfect balance. The Peach Me Sweetea is still my favorite, especially with their honey boba, but even at 50% sweetness, it's plenty sweet. Definitely one of the best boba spots around! read more

They use iPad ordering which makes ordering super convenient and quick. Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Honey Boba~4/5, the boba is definitely top tier! I came on a Sunday before noon, and there was no wait or line! My drink was prepared quickly, and the worker was nice. I got the 20oz Banana Matcha ($6.83), and I enjoyed it! I asked for less ice and yes top off, which was fulfilled. I wanted to try their matcha because for the size of their drinks I think their prices are very fair, especially since they use ceremonial grade. The banana cream was yummy, but I couldn't really taste any matcha, which tends to happen with flavored matcha drinks. The bobas here are top tier. You know a good boba when it doesn't have that powder taste and the quality is better than other boba spots in this area. You can customize the sweetness, ice, etc. and they have some special drinks I haven't seen. The star is the karake popcorn chicken- it's just the right amount of crisp with big chunks of chicken. The quality of the drinks has gone down in the past month. For a 32oz drink with less ice and no top off, my cup was filled just under 3/4 of the way. Meanwhile my other drink with regular ice I watched the worker put 2 1/2 scoops of ice which was insane. I'm paying for tea not ice. On top of that, I watched him pour the extra drink made into another cup for himself. Having to charge more when the drink alone is already $8 just for a full cup is outrageous and I won't be coming back again. read more

Tastea is one of my favorite boba spots. It is a chain located all throughout LA and Orange County and I always get the peach me freezy with the honey boba. I also really enjoy their karate chicken here but for the price that you pay for the portion is very very small. I wish that the portion was almost double for paying nearly $15+ for this appetizer. Worse service ever. I was there on 5/30/25 at 3:00pm and ordered 2 strawberry sensations. At 3:30pm, I still did not get my order. The idiot worker who looked Vietnamese kept serving people that came after me. When I complained about it, then started with my order. I told them to stop my order and wanted a refund. The idiot girl did not know how to give me a proper refund so I told her just give me my refund and you can figure it out later. She kept saying that we help people in order they come in which was a blatant lie. I got there at 3:00pm and did not leave until 3:40pm because of the incompetence of the staff. Never had this kind of atrocious bad service in any shops before. I will never go back here and I advised all my family and friends to do the same.
