The Strawberry Shortcake Bowl was so good! I usually go for the more healthy options, but this was an excellent sweet post birthday treat. I love this Nekter location it is clean, calm, and your order is done pretty quickly. The young man working there was super nice + professional. After coming to these spots for years I just found out the waffles are gluten free and can be made dairy free! I appreciate how above and beyond they went explaining it and preparing it. It was truly the best bowl I have had at any Nekter. The consistency was perfect so was the balance of all the ingredients. Looking forward to having another one some day. The only danger is spacing it out, because it is so good! Also the easy parking was a bonus in my book. read more

Leaving 1 star because of the establishment not the employees. Do better Nekter this is sad. Multiple visits where I've seen the store is being held down by 1 employee while there is a rush. Each of those times my order gets messed up but I don't say anything nor blame it on the employee. Hire more people because this is disappointing to see. The poor girl looked so stress and on top of guests rushing them its not a good look. A very unprofessional and unorganized business. read more

We asked for no granola, and we got granola. This is to the "new" girl during the morning shift, when a customer asks for no granola, pls don't come back and serve a half filled acai bowl, with barely any fruit and acai and charge us $10.99! You just removed the granola, which is pretty messed up. The acai was for my daughter too. Ask yourself if want to pay full price for a half portion. That wouldn't make sense, right? It's just cruel. My daughter didn't want to ask you to do it for the third time for fear you'll get mad. Customer service is not for everyone. I would give less stars, but they usually do a pretty good job here. We are regulars and never had any issues in the past until now, so 2 stars. read more

Nekter Juice Bar - We asked for no granola, and we got a half filled bowl. - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Whittier, California

Ordered online to pick up at 1:25 pm, and order still not ready at 01:50 pm. Asked the register if I could get a refund. Needed to be somewhere at 2 pm. She wouldn't give me her name, she was nice about it I was just mad not getting my money back and wasted my time, it looks like she is training someone and they are backed up. But unable to refund is insane. Manager not on sight. Stating that he is busy and in a meeting. Waiting for a call back to receive my refund. Do better, hire more employees, or maybe they have a blender issue not really sure. How hard is it to serve a smoothie and açaí bowls? I usually go to the one nearby EOS and I'll just go there at least they are on time and efficient. I'll just make my smoothie/acai bowl at home way faster UPDATE: 3 days later and still no call from the manager that supposedly will call me back for refund Daniel Hernandez Basically stole my money and got no refund. That's some shady business there, doesn't care about their employees and customer Gave 3 days and time to get called back, in hope to get an apology or at least my money back but nope. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE HERE OR YOU CAN WAIT 1 HOUR FOR YOUR SMOOTHIE OR AÇAÍ BOWL. read more

Nekter Juice Bar - Mobile order not on time. Do not order here ahead, doesn't work. Workers are not efficient - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Whittier, California

My husband and I just went out to have sushi for lunch this past Sunday March 1st. We decided to go to Nekter for a dessert option. It was around 4 PM and there was a female cashier who was brunette and had her hair in a ponytail. As soon as we got inside, we barely walked up to the register and she yells at us "ITS GOING TO BE A 30 MINUTE WAIT!". My husband and I literally looked at each other in disbelief as she yelled at us in front of the other six people that were in the store. You could tell some of the other customers were shocked and just stared at us like "what the heck just happened". As we stood there, we just decided to wait to see if she would take our order. She continued to work, never acknowledged us or looked at us after that, and didn't even go to the register to take our order while we stood there, waiting patiently. I looked at my husband and said " she just yelled at us and I don't think she's going to take our order. It's not worth it. Let's just go." It's a shame and extremely disappointing to have had that experience. After that experience, I am never going to this store location again. To be treated like that when all we did was just barely walk in is disgusting. I'd rather go to the location in the Whittier Groves. It left a bad taste in my mouth and they lost my business. read more

Service is good and consistent. Love that you can order ahead from their app! My favorite is their PB&J bowl.

Not only are the smoothies and bowls awesome, but the staff is as well! They were very helpful the first time my boyfriend and I came in and have always been friendly when I come in. The smoothies are delicious! Would definitely recommend this place to others. read more

They are so slow here, one person in front of me and 1 smoothie took 25 minutes , worker was kind of unfriendly

Great and helpful service! + Regular Mango Bowl ($10.99): they blend it fresh and the base is more liquidy than I'm used to. Simple bowl topped with fruits, coconut flakes, granola, and agave. Very simple, ok açaí bowl (6.5/10) read more

My mom and I walked in and the cashier immediately yelled at us stating "the wait is going to be 30 minutes, you can either stay and wait or leave I don't care" she had the most uninviting energy and quite honestly horrible attitude. She made it feel like a burden to take our order. I was seriously contemplating not getting a smoothie at all out of fear that she might spit in my drink . She gave me my drink and asked if that was it to which I said I needed my straws and she said "yes I know but I'm asking if that's all you ordered because I don't remember." She gave me an awful look. I don't think I'll be going back if she works there. She had a pony tail, brunette, tattoos on her arm, and I think her name was Ray.. read more

I ordered ahead through the app, only to arrive and be told they were out of nearly everything. I ended up canceling my order with David, who was incredibly kind and trying his best to problem-solve. Then I see the owner walking in after the fact--carrying bags of frozen fruit. This puts the staff in such a difficult position. They were scrambling to call customers and figure things out while the store filled with frustrated people waiting on delayed orders. I actually remembered a previous visit where I overheard staff talking about which car to take to go buy strawberries. This all seems like something that could easily be avoided if the owner simply managed inventory and supply in a timely manner. Instead, she dropped off the fruit and left the staff to clean up the mess. Really unfair to the team, who are clearly trying their best. read more

As a repeat customer I usually get my order quickly and accurately at Nekter at Whittier Friendly Hills location. Unfortunately my experience today 1/8 was not great. Customer service was fine but my smoothie order was unacceptable. The side of the drink was spilling over as I was walking out the door I had chocolate all over my hands. Then when I attempted to drink the smoothie it would not come up the straw. I tried mixing it up but then found out when I opened it there was huge chunks of fruit that was not blended the size of a quarter. I ordered a smoothie not a bowl with whole pieces of fruit. Please blend your smoothies thoroughly and be mindful of how messy you hand it over to the customer. read more

PROTEIN SMOOTHIE: $11 PB MOCHA (40g protein smoothie) in a REGULAR SIZE. It didn't have much mocha flavor, but LOVE the cacao nibs for crunch. 40g of protein is crazy! We were actually looking for ice cream, but decided to get an açaí bowl instead. I was a bit frowns about it, but the free ginger shot with Yelp Checkin, the great customer service, and the wide range of choices made me feel a tiny bit better about losing out on my ice cream adventure. However, once I tried the yummy açaí peanut butter bowl, I was hooked!!! So delicious, and I don't feel guilty about this frozen delightful dessert!!! Good music playing in the background made it a fun stop! I'm dancing with my bowl! Now I don't have to exercise later! Ha! Thanks, Nekter! Yum!! read more

The only reason I'm giving this location 2 stars is because they usually get my order correct but in contrast, the customer service is not only rude, but uncomfortable. I usually order online to avoid the girls that work there but this evening I went in with my daughters as they wanted to check out the menu. I pretty much prepare myself for the "you're an inconvenience" vibe from the gal behind the counter but tonight she really seemed annoyed. This location was only accepting Zelle or online orders, which is fine but at least smile or humor your customers. She tapped her hand on the counter, exhaled sharply and rolled her eyes when my daughter couldn't recall the previous drink she ordered. Really? Instead of making a suggestion, you're going to make obvious gestures of annoyance?Honestly, I'm going to start looking for another location. I'm so irritated by her behavior and lack of any sort of customer service etiquette. I'm sure another place would appreciate the $45. read more

My husband and myself were the only customers when we walked in. As we ordered and paid several other customers walked in and ordered. The item I ordered was ready so we sat and waited for my husbands drink. As we waited 2-3 customers who ordered after us got their drinks. My husband brought it to cashier (a female with black hair in ponytail) YELLED at my husband that there was lots of orders and if he didn't like it he could get his money back!! We love the place but the customer service (especially hers) was unsat and should be addressed. read more

I stopped by this place for the first time yesterday and had such a great experience! There was only one person working, I believe her name was Daisy, and she was absolutely amazing. I asked for some recommendations since it was my first visit and she was so kind and patient in helping me decide what to order despite it being busy. She even offered me a small sample of the chia pudding when I asked about it. The smoothie bowls were fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be coming back!! read more

Great smoothies and fresh made juices! This place is great , just hard to find parking sometimes.

I came in Friday, 12/26/2025, when I came in there were 6 people waiting and one worker in the back who politely told me she would be with me shortly. When she came to take my order I asked if it was just her to which she stated yes. After she took my order two more people came in while she cleared 1 person, then two more people came in. I'm writing this review while there are 10 of us waiting and 1 worker. My review isn't for her or her service because despite everything she was nice to everyone, but it is for management to this place. Why would it ever be okay to schedule 1 single person to work both cashier and kitchen? Not only do you have your employee working under stressful conditions which tells me this place doesn't care about their employees, but you have customers waiting excessive wait times. read more

I have been here 4 times. I really like their acai bowls. I usually get the acai peanut butter, which is refreshing and delicious. My only complaint is that every time I come here the employees seem overwhelmed. Mind you, it's never been crowded when I've been here. At most, one person ahead of me in line and two people waiting for orders. Seems like they need three employees per shift, bc it looks like they are also taking phone orders. A lot of times, you will be waiting at the counter 5-10 minutes before they even take your order. I have walked out myself bc of this. read more

Got the açaí mango bowl. The açaí itself wasn't bad but not as flavorful or rich as other places. There wasn't any mango or coconut or strawberries within the açaí bowl, just on top- which is not what the description is... so bummed about that. Curbs the cravings for a cold treat since not much else is around in the same mall. Service was professional. Their card system was down so only took cash at that time. Has tables and seats inside. read more

Today wasn't as good as I've experienced previously. Had mobile order but took a while to be fulfilled. 2 other customers were waiting when I arrived. Team was nice and courteous but they weren't up to speed with getting orders done for some reason. I enjoyed my bowl. The bowl isn't full like other customers who got their order before me. I have a huge gap from my filling base to the top of the lid. That's disappointing. The base was made thick as requested. Maybe granola on the side was a bit under portioned from past visits. My observations from prior visits and compared to other locations. Hopefully it is better next visit! read more

I know it's take out only because of the whole COVID-19 but I don't think their system of taking orders is fair. We placed our order an hour ago on the app and come to the store 15 min later to find that others who are placing their order at the door are getting their orders first. If I had known it was this way, we would've just placed our order face to face with you guys. At Starbucks, they make the drinks as the stickers/orders pop out, which ever comes out first (mobile order or in store) that's what they make. Please fix your system, and monitor the people at your door who are NOT social distancing. It's really annoying just sitting here in the car, waiting for my drinks when others who placed their orders after me are getting their orders before. Update: just found out that their system doesn't send the order to the store until 15 minutes before your order is ready. FYI it's probably better to just order at the door rather than mobile order. read more

4/16 I love this place and I came inside to order around 2:30 but it was really busy. I asked the girl working when she passed out my order if she was the only one working and she said yes..
