Second time here, dined in for a late lunch. Place was empty, but very clean. Staff was super sweet and friendly. Ordered: orange chicken with rice, cheesey bulgogi fries, Thai tea + caramel milk tea for $45. Huge portions, and both entrees were very good. It was my first time back in a long time, and it did not disappoint.
Do yourself a favor and try the soy glazed boneless wings. My family also loves the garlic noodles and filet. Owners and staff are so kind and gracious. Highly recommend. I will be trying other things from the menu as well. 5 stars.
Friendly service and immaculately clean restaurant. Have a variety of noodle and fried rice dishes with some additional specials. We tried the garlic noodles with shrimp which were great in flavor but were missing a vegetable or something. The orange chicken is delicious and a great value portion wise. The dumplings were solid. Overall good food, would definitely try again!

I work down the street from this place, but it never showed up on Yelp for me, so hopefully this post gets more attention. Lots of options for vegetarians and some for gluten-free eaters too. My friend ordered an orange chicken bowl, which looked really good. I asked for the same thing, but to substitute it with Tofu. It wasn't on the menu, but they honored my request. It was really good! It's hard to find a lot of good Tofu dishes, so if you are Tofu eater like myself, then you should give this place a try.
Don't hesitate, just go! We were looking for a quick place to eat and randomly found this place and it was the best. The restaurant was clean with a nice table for the family, the people were very kind, and all of the food was sooo flavorful! We got the veggie noodles and the chicken pad see ew and each plate was plenty for two meals. We will definitely be back
The food at this small little restaurant was delicious! I had garlic noodles with beef filet. The noodles were slightly chewy and slightly garlicky. The beef filet was so tender! Others in our party got fried rice with bulgogi beef and fried rice with beef filet. You can't go wrong with the garlic noodles or fried rice. I will say, however, if choosing between bulgogi beef and filet, I think the filet is the way to go! They also offer boba drinks. Service was friendly. Clean and well kept. Inside seating is limited.
What a gem! We found 194 Eatery through the Yelps when we needed a bite to eat before a matinee show at the La Mirada Performing Arts Center, and what a find it was! Now, it's tradition to stop by whenever we have a show in the area. We've had the beef bulgogi, pad see ew, garlic noodles with shrimp, and orange chicken. The food here is surprisingly solid! For a small store that serves food in plastic to-go containers, the flavours are pretty good! We haven't tried their drinks yet, though. Staff is super friendly, and the owners are cute. We love supporting small, family, and local businesses, and this place checks all the boxes! It's run by a couple, and the husband is the chef. We couldn't figure out why it was called 194 Eatery, but after some conversation with the nice lady, we learned that this number was chosen because it was her husband's weight. That's a fun fact if I've ever heard one! 194 Eatery is located in a small shopping area with a small parking lot. There are a few seats inside, and we've only seen it fill up once. Great prices for decent portions!
Nice little mom and pop boba shop that offers great food! I ordered the orange chicken with garlic noodles. My vegan friend wanted to try the orange chicken sauce on top of the tofu, and the owner was more than happy to accomodate his request. He actually chatted with us for a while and told us about the history of the restaurant, which opened during the height of Covid. I will be back!
The food is so tasty! Has good flavor and the portions are great! Service was excellent, I got a recommendation and it did not disappoint! They have music playing inside, it's not loud to the point where you can't hear other people talking so it gives a good vibe to the place!
I got the garlic noodles with sliced beef. It was good! It's a little on the greasy side cause of the beef but still good! The service was very good, very nice and friendly. Would recommend for garlic noodle lovers!
So happy to stumble upon this little gem! I drive by everyday coming from work and I finally stopped by to try it out. I was not one bit disappointed. I got the pad see ew, which seems to be a crowd favorite, shrimp fried rice and soy glazed wings. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Not too salty but savory enough. I really loved it all. The place is clean and the staff is super friendly. It took a while to get my food but I assume it's because everything is made to order. I highly recommend you check them out! Can't wait to come back and try other things.
Tasty food! We ordered the beef garlic noodles, shrimp bowl, and beef bowl. They have a pretty decent selection of bobas. All of our food came out good. Drinks were yummy. We'd come back again. Oh and we loved the popcorn chicken! Service was great, they were friendly.
Came back here again this week for a quick pick up meal, and always a quick and reliable stop. The girl at the front was so sweet answering my questions about their menu as well as showing me to their bathroom in the back (I had to walk through the kitchen to use it and there is a bunch of stuff being stored in there, but hey I'm not one to complain about getting to use it). The drink was pretty well priced considering the inflation of boba drinks and especially fruit drinks, so SO WORTH IT. The chicken pad see ew was alright, 6.5/10- not the best but also was not bad and I would get again considering how convenient it is to get food from here. The chicken wings are not your traditional fried chicken wings but the flavor of the sauce was good; they were a bit dry but not enough to stop me from eating it. There are a few tables and countertop space along the wall for seating. The vibe is very chill inside, a bit homey, 'hole in the wall.' The parking lot is a bit tight but there are usually spots whenever I come by. Overall, the food this time was alright, but for the price and the kind service, I'm happy!

Love this place! Great family owned restaurant who are always friendly and helpful whenever we come in! Their service cannot be matched! The food has always been excellent! There has not been anything I've had that I have not enjoyed! Everything from popcorn chicken to fried rice, from the garlic noodles to rice bowls, from Pad See Ew to fruit smoothies! Some of my favorite items are the popcorn chicken, orange chicken, beef garlic noodles and the Bulgogi rice bowl. Of course topped off with a mango yogurt smoothie! read more

We stopped by here recently before going to the movies and I would recommend ordering their filet mignon garlic noodles; they were great! I also ordered some wontons, which were good, too, but they definitely needed some sriracha for some more flavor. The staff seemed quite friendly. There was a big group of older people eating inside (there's not much indoor seating), and the staff didn't hesitate to give them suggestions on what to order and brought them a complimentary dish, which I thought was so nice of them. Overall, good value and if I'm in the area I would stop by again. read more
My wife and I were looking for a place to have a date. We were taking our son to go with his friends and we needed a place close by in La Mirada. We found this gem hidden away in a strip mall. The lady who owns it is so kind she was patient with our order and she was just smiling all the time. When we got the food it was nice and hot. The orange chicken was crispy and sweet-and-sour. The rice was perfect and there was actually steamed vegetables that were really yummy. My wife liked the bulgogi but the portion was so big which is a good thing. Great portions for the money. She saved it for lunch today. I enjoyed the Thai tea with Boba. It was sweet, but not too sweet. It was perfect. Something is just different not in a good way. Been a fan and a supporter of this little place. But the last visit my wontons definitely not good. Didn't even eat them the first bite was like ugh no. This place is such a cute mom and pop spot. Kpop was playing on the speakers and there was plenty of seating. My friend and I came here after work and we ordered the orange chicken with rice, cheesy bulgogi fries, black milk tea, and mango yakult. I think our personal favorite was the orange chicken with rice!! Super delicious. I can't wait to come back to try the other dishes and drinks. The owner was super sweet when she took our orders at the cash register. I think there's a $5 minimum to use credit card fyi but that was fine because we ordered way more! While we sat waiting, our food was brought out to us hot and fresh. Thank goodness they were already in takeout containers because we couldn't finish the food. It was delicious as leftovers the next day. Definitely will be coming back!! read more

I've been receiving Yelp recommendations regarding this spot so decided to stop by to pick up some food. The spot is conveniently located in a strip mall with ample parking. The restaurant itself has a small dinning area but I was just picking up. The staff were friendly, attentive, and polite and were nice enough to accommodate my order pick up change time. I ordered several items that included chicken fried rice, pad see ew with beef, popcorn chicken with thai chili sauce, fried dumplings, and a thai tea with boba. My favorite was the chicken fried rice, it was delicious and full of flavors. The fried dumplings were perfectly cooked and very tasty. However the other items were good but not totally memorable. In conclusion, 164 Eatery didn't totally disappoint but under succeeded my expectations especially since Yelp kept recommending the spot to me. Maybe next time I drop by I'll get the garlic noodles. read more

I arrived at 8:45 PM to place an order and was told I could not be served, despite the posted closing time being 9:00 PM. If a business stops taking orders earlier than its stated closing time, that should be clearly communicated to customers. This experience was frustrating and felt misleading. I would not have come in had I known orders were cut off before closing. I get it's 15 minutes to closing but in my opinion workers were just being lazy I will be calling the manager .Bad for business. Glad I didn't spend my money here will not be coming back or referring sadly this was a tasty spot. read more

Crazy high reviews but I was not a huge fan of the food. Decent garlic noodles but no veggies and the chicken seemed like an afterthought. Super friendly service and not over priced but not blown away by the food. I love supporting small businesses like these. read more

I haven't tried the food here yet but from looking at the reviews the food looks pretty good. They have vegetarian friendly options as well. I spoke to who I think was the owner and she explained some of the food items like the rice cake to me. The employees all seem pretty nice. The cashiers and owners all say hi as you enter. I've tried the brown sugar milk and taro bobas and they were both good. The first time I got their boba the boba was fresh so it was a bit over boiled. And the next time I went it was perfectly fine. The inside of the restaurant is pretty empty. I've only visited on week days so I'm sure it gets somewhat busy on weekends. Everything is pretty clean and seems like a good spot to go with friends. Parking is pretty easy in this lot. It's a bit tight with so many stores but haven't had an issue so far. * ive noticed some items aren't listed on their menu but they do have them so make sure to ask. read more

I honestly think the reviews on this place are fake. We came here because they had 4 starts. Boyyyy were we in for a bland meal. None of this is worth eating. Friend rice taste like white rice no color as well. The pad se ew was bland, no flavor at all and overcooked noodles. Meat tasted like lunch meat in sauce. I would suggest you going elsewhere.
