I've been looking for a good Chinese food spot around my area and happened to come across this place, and honestly it exceeded my expectations. I believe it's family owned and the food tasted fresh, flavorful, and really well made. I got the orange chicken and it was nice and crunchy with a lot of flavor, not soggy like some other places can be. The chow mein was also really good, and the war wonton soup was delicious and very flavorful. The serving size was big too, perfect for a cold day or when you're not feeling well. The portions here are generous and the service was friendly. The place itself is on the smaller side, so I personally chose to take my food to go, but you can definitely eat there if you want. It seems like a really easy spot to call in an order and pick it up. Overall I was really happy with everything and definitely plan on coming back. A solid choice for that random craving of Chinese food PARKING: weird little lot. The area is mostly covered by a mini grass field. We found a spot close by thankfully. APPEARANCE: a little unassuming to be honest. It's your average Chinese food restaurant. FOOD: we came 30 minutes before closing. We asked for some orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, this popcorn type of shrimp with a spicy seasoning, and chow mein. The orange chicken, popcorn shrimp, and chow mein definitely stole the show. The man attending us PACKED those little trays with food. We were fed next day thanks to his generosity. They even cooked us some more orange chicken :D very considerate of them! SERVICE: They were friendly, straight to the point, helpful, and efficient :) we were out in like 5 minutes tops! Definitely a fun little spot to hit up if you're looking to fill the stomach. One of the best Chinese express food spots in Los Angeles! The staff was very friendly and patient with me as it was my first time and they have plenty of great options. I got the house special with pork and shrimp, a side of orange chicken and a mango/ passion fruit green tea. Their food is made to order which is always a plus. food poison from last night after dining-in. my stomach was turning all night long & actually had to vomit to ease my stomach. while waiting in line, a Father & his son was also waiting for food when we heard (from what sounded like) a mouse trap snapping, the Dad started laughing & said, GOT'EM. we both looked at each other w/the shaking our head look. mins later, we heard the same snapping sound, AGAIN. i ordered all fried rice (rice had a slight foul smell), orange chicken was a fresh batch (tasty actually) and teriyaki chicken (also had a foul taste). $13.25 down the drain. i for sure wouldnt come back here again & would love for the food inspector to take a visit here, sooner than later. its a hard NO for me at this place. read more

A small Chinese fast food restaurant in a corner with a small steam table to choose from. First of all, they are very generous with the amount of food they give you. Secondly, every food I got was very delicious and tasted freshly made this morning. Orange chicken was crunchy and large cut of juicy chicken - not a thick flour coating at all. We order a 3 item plate noodles, and rice are delicious. BBQ was tender and juicy. Jalapeño chicken was good a bit extra spicy but great flavor. Beef broccoli was amazing. I was craving Chinese food so decided to pick up a combination plate, this was my first time here. The food looked good behind the counter so it was hard to choose my entrees. I decided go with a 3 entree combo with 1/2 fried rice and 1/2 chow mein. I added orange chicken, BBQ pork, and hot spicy chicken. The chow mein and orange chicken were good but have to say everything else was just average. I didn't like the hot spicy chicken at all, it was way too salty. The lady who took my order was extremely friendly and sweet. She even threw in some free egg rolls. The food looked very fresh, even for a Monday. The veggies looked vibrant and fresh, and they also tasted fresh as well. I ordered the 3 item plate with half fried rice and half chow mein, and I got orange chicken, Kung pao chicken, and beef and broccoli as my 3 items and all of it tasted delicious and fresh. The trays that held the food were clean and they weren't completely filled which I appreciate because that means they're constantly making the food in the trays fresh when they run out rather then making a lot and having it sit in the tray for longer. I found this place through yelp. Needed a good Chinese fast food to go since the two near my work was disappointing and the third one called KPB is quite expensive & the 4th Pots n' Wok super expensive! ($15-$20 for a two item combo plates) I was on a mission to find an inexpensive but flavorful Chinese fast food. I finally found it in this clean and small storefront at the corner of La Mirada and Mulberry. I have been here twice and fell in love with their spicy pork ribs and BBQ pork. Both tastes phenomenal. I never ever see spicy pork spareribs in any steam table menu, but they have it here! It is spicy but nothing any average person can manage. Just keep an ice-cold cup of water nearby. It is also tender & juicy, even the cartilage is tender. Bite into it and they all come crumbling down in your mouth! Then there is their BBQ pork. A staple on every steam table menu but this one is cooked with I believe the expensive ingredients because I have only ever had this flavor in one of those big Chinese restaurants. And I also tried their green bean chicken and kung pao chicken and they were both delicious as well. Makes you wonder if they have a 4-star chef in house or a nice little grandparent who has been cooking since they were a little kid. About the only thing I may have had second thoughts about is their fried rice. It was a bit dry. But I substituted it with white rice which was moist and warm. So, if you live nearby, or cross by this Chinese fast-food restaurant on an empty stomach, come in and grab yourself a 2-item combo plate which is under $11. Tonight my husband went to pick up dinner for our family and friends. When he got home, mind you we live only 2 minutes away, the food was so cold. We ordered 1- 2 entree meal with beef and broccoli/kung pao chicken and rice. The beef and broccoli had only 2 pieces of beef and the box was full of rice! The second meal was orange chicken and chow mein, there was barely any chicken and they were tiny and over cooked. The egg rolls were basically frozen. Lastly, my husband had to go out and buy new food because it barely fed 2 people. We will have to find a new place to enjoy Chinese food! read more
