If your gonna look at any review look at mine! I've been coming to this exact location for SO long as a kid. The food has tasted good every time but they don't know about customer service. There's always that one asian lady who's rude and there's another nice one. The rude one really takes advantage. I went in once to buy two small boxes of food one crispy chicken and one orange chicken. She charged me around 8-9$. I didn't think much of it. I went in two weeks after for the exact thing but the other nicer lady charged me around 5-6$. Idk who they're trying to play dumb but it ain't me. I go on my break here and there and end up disappointed in the food after. I went in once ordering my food the lady next to me wanted a whole plate of one item and she was willing to pay for it and the mean asian lady practically almost yelled at her saying she couldn't get a whole plate and told her if she got one item on a whole plate she was going to charge her double, and pointed at little containers that if she wanted one item only it would have to be from the small containers. I don't think i'll ever be back i get disappointed every time i go. They deserve to either have good customer service or get out of business. read more

Recently had a craving for some Chinese food while in Whittier. I've passed here many times but never stopped in until now. Parking is easy as it is a large shopping center. As you enter u are immediately greeted. The location is small but clean. This spot has the premade Chinese favorites on display for you to select from. Somehow the foods here had a delectable appearance, much more inviting than expected. We tried the usuals, orange chicken (very good), egg fu yung (amazing), kung pao (great sauce) and crispy chicken (ok). Surprisingly the rice was not the usual dry fried rice and was good. The chow mein was also good. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality at this location and would definitely return. Wow I should have checked here on yelp 1st. This has got to be the worst Chinese food in Whittier, I think they should pay you to eat their food. The broccoli beef was brought out "fresh" but was so soggy and flavorless, the jalapeño chicken had mostly bell pepper and zero spice, the chicken was tiny morsels of left over scraps, the chow mein was a mushy disgusting mess flaoverless mess that even soy sauce or hot sauce could not fix, their orange chicken was again very mushy with stale chicken. I hate leaving bad reviews but I had to do it because for the price it is definitely not worth it, this place obviously does not care 1 but about quality. The only edible item I had was their fried rice, but everything else was a waste of food and money. Please don't eat here unless you want to be disappointed. You be the judge. I ordered just white rice ( only) Lady rings up $8.81. I tell her that's the same price of a 2 item special ( 2 items, noodles, and rice) She says "yes". So I say ok lesson learned and pay her then ask for Saracha to which she only gives me 2 small packets. I tell her only 2 for this plate of rice. She says yes. Love this place. Food is always good. Looking over some past reviews and it's pretty funny. One person states they are a regular but gave them 1 star. One star! And yet you go there regularly? Another gave them 1 star for speaking Chinese to each other while serving them. What does the language they use to communicate to each other have to do with the food? And yet another 1 star given for because they didn't see one of the multiple signs stating 'Cash Only'. People, it's a Chinese take out place. Why pretend it's Spagos?! These twits probably think Olive Garden is a fancy restaurant. With that said. This place always packs my plate with food. Rarely will the top stay closed. You want good Chinese take out? I'm surprised by all the negative reviews of this place. This is one of the best Chinese take-out joints nearby. We have asked around and people always mention this place. The price is good for what you get. You can't really compare it to Panda because this place is small and they are waaaaay cheaper. C'mon now. The food is overall pretty fresh especially if you come during lunch/dinner time. They are always replacing the food due to people coming in constantly. I can only see it being old when you come during off hours. The Beef w/ Broccoli is my go-to. The broccoli is never mushy. Always has a slight crunch...which is what I look for in Chinese take-out. The Crispy Chicken w/ jalapenos is delicious as well. Especially if it just came out. Not many take-out places offer that dish. My husband enjoys the Orange Chicken. Seems like a lot of people do because it tends to run out pretty often. The other popular choice is the BBQ Pork. I've ordered the Egg Flower soup before, but it's not that good. The ladies that work here have always been friendly to us. One of them is extra sweet. We always hope that she is the one who helps us when we visit. Lots of parking. Ive had bad chinese food. Like, 3AM, edge of North Las Vegas next to a strip club bad chinese food. This was objectively worse. Why? While shady Las Vegas chinese food eventually led to me throwing up on someone named "Chastity", it at least tasted good going down. For starters, the chow main turned into a soggy gelatinous mess a few minutes after being off the heat trays. That would be forgivable if it didnt taste like wet white bread. Two bites and I was done. The Orange Chicken? Objectively the soul of any chinese food place, and usually the key to any dish. Here? Call it orange chicken soup. The breading on the chicken, again is without flavor, or crispiness. And the "Jalepeno chicken"? Well I'm hoping it was chicken. It possibly could have been leather shoe strings. I love the China Wok by my house, but this was a disaster! They don't even use the same sauce for the Chow Mein- with far too many vegetables. On top of that they're cash only, with the sign on the register, not in view when you walk in. I had to fumble with the ATM for almost 6 minutes for a 12$ Chinese food order, and on top of that it charged me a whole 2.50$ for withdrawing cash. This restaurant is good fast Chinese food. I see a lot of people be impatient when there is only one employee working the front especially during the pandemic . But I think they are doing their best.
