Pros: Easy to find due to the neon sign Ample parking Claw machine to play while you wait Good selection of drinks Cons: Quality of the drinks was just meh Prices a bit on the high side given all the nearby competition Pro tip: If you are an Influencer and need something for your content, go here for the fun and flair.

Our drinks IMMEDIATELY after ordering. Do those look fresh to you? Such a waste of $15.

Currently sitting in the parking lot after leaving. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with Bobo before. My best friendsn I love coming here, but today we were utterly disappointed. I do not think we will be back after this experience. We placed our usual order of 2 Mango Creams with boba. It wasn't busy when we ordered and it still took 15+ minutes for the order to be fulfilled. People who ordered after us were getting their orders before us. Then, the order finally comes out and instead 2 regular drinks, it's 1 drink spilt into 2 small cups. When we stated that the order was incorrect, we had to wait an ADDITIONAL 20+ minutes for our correct order. Mind you, customers who came in after us continued to be prioritized even though we were sitting in there for almost 45 minutes. When we finally got our drinks, we made the discovery that they just reused the incorrect order that had already been sitting out on the counter for over 20 minutes. Our final drinks were melted, the boba was hard and stuck together, and just looks wrong overall. Like I said, this used to be one of our go-to's, so I know that these were not to standard at all. Such a shame. I've never been so filled with frustration that I need to write a negative yelp review. But whoever was behind the counter, I truly think it was her first day on earth. Please do not work in food service if you continually make mistakes like this. She was messing up everyone else's orders as well. I have compassion and patience for service workers, but I draw the line at incompetence.

Cat on top but strawberry milk tea
Amy L.

I dont remember this place being called bobo the first time i came here but it was a while back. They ran out of taiyaki when we went so I got the camo which was thai tea, matcha and sea salt. I only tasted the thai tea and it was a little on the powdery side. Also pretty sweet as well. The strawberry milk tea was good but it was basically strawberry milk. There was no tea taste. They have a mini claw machine that is $1 a game but alot of the toys were gone so it looked like a U but we were able to win a minion for my friends kiddo. Looks like most of the prices remained the same except the fruit tea that increase by $0.25

WINTER MELON MILK TEA

Pretty good boba! The name of this boba spot is cute. Bobo boba! Yes please. I did order for to-go. Grabbed the drinks and took them home to hubby. I ordered the jasmine iced tea and the winter melon milk tea. The winter melon was so good! It kind of tasted like honeydew to me. Very tasty! I got it cold. I'm sure if you order it differently, it will change the whole experience. The jasmine iced tea was nice too. It had a good jasmine flavor, not too over-powering. I would order that again if I was in the mood for iced tea. The winter melon would be my go-to if I wanted a milk tea. Usually, milk teas are not sweet enough for me. This one was very sweet and delicious! My husband ordered a cookies and cream. He loved it. I stole a sip, and I agree it is a very nice treat. Super sweet, but smooth and delightful! That one is more like drinking your dessert haha

Perfect place to sit down and play games with friends. There is a claw machine as well in the corner. I'm not a huge fan of boba so I am probably not the best to review, however, I very much enjoyed the oolong milk tea. The worker also gave me and my group free bungeo-ppang!! What a wonderful place.

FIZZY WIZZY ENCHANTED BERRY
Jonathan L.

Went here after eating in the area. We got two drinks. A fruit tea and a fizzy drink. Drinks were solid but will need to try the other ones. Inside is very small but they have seating outside also. They just opened so be patient if you can. They had one girl working so it took a bit but that's to be expected.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 This is my second time here at Bobo. Parking is easy. First time I got their signature milk tea and I liked it. This time I order from-yo slush and I didn't like it that much. It was very hard to mix everything together and overall it's a bit on sweet side. Next time I come, I would just stick with milk tea drinks.

Green Thai tea

#105 in my Teaholic Diaries. It's been a while since I added a new entry to my tea journey, so here we go again! Bobo took over Krak Boba, and it looks like the menu is mostly the same. The Thai tea was alright, though sweeter than I'm used to, so be sure to adjust the sugar level. One other change from the shift in ownership is that they sell taiyaki now. Reasonably priced at five for $9.95, I tried the custard, taro, and mozzarella flavors. The taiyaki was done right - perfectly crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and with delicious filling. The taro flavored custard was amazing, and the mozzarella cheese had Italian seasoning mixed in, so it tasted like garlic cheese knots. Personally, I think it's worth coming here for the taiyaki alone. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

A small boba shop with limited seating. The taiyakis were good but Cookies and Creme didn't have as much oreo flavor and I expected. The chocolate flavor was a bit overpowering.

Perfect little spot to get your boba, fish waffles or slush drinks! Clean place and a cool spot to hang out with friends! Definitely recommend.

MATCHA MAN
Danni O.

Matcha man !! Matcha milk tea with strawberry was delish. I got it 75% sweet and it was perfect since the strawberry itself was sweet. Gotta mix it all up so the flavors blend together !

Dragon slayer and bobo king
Maxine C.

Been eyeing Bobo the Boba while shopping at Zion and finally gave it a go. Went with two favorites, the Bobo King and Dragon Slayer both at 75% sweetness. They were perfect for a hot summer day, just sweet enough without overkill. The Bobo King was creamy and rich, while the Dragon Slayer was fruity and refreshing. Found a couple big ice chunks at the bottom--it might've helped to give the drink one more blend. Overall, solid drinks for the price.

Taiyaki menu
Maria F.

Boba is very soft and sweet, if you are watching your sugar ask for less sweetness. We ordered bobo king, halo halo and green cosmic. If you're Filipino, their halo halo doesn't taste the traditional halo halo because of the mango. We also got taiyaki, Nutella, custard and Oreo all are overflowing inside. Delicious. Place is clean but loud, maybe because there were a lot of customers. Service is fast and cashier is very helpful in helping us choose our drinks.

Claw machine prizes out weigh claw. 50% of the prizes are that way. Tea was fine but having a shady claw machine game isn't cool.

The Halo-Halo and Mais Con Yelo were good, though I wished they were more creamy. Mixing the ube ice cream might have helped, but I prefer to eat it separately. But that ube ice cream on top was the best! true, authentic Filipino ube ice cream! The beef empanadas here are delicious too - taste exactly like the ones I get from a specialty empanadas place - even without any chimichurri sauce. And the shrimp crackers have a very original twist: they are thin, fan-shaped flat crackers with a whole flat shrimp embedded right inside - very unique I haven't seen elsewhere! The service is very good, as well. The ladies at the counter were very nice, pleasant, and always smiling. While the shop is small, it is very clean and organized. They even have photos of their drinks on the wall, which makes it easy to decide what to order. Pro Tip: Don't forget to get your loyalty card stamped! You get a free 16 oz drink after only five stamps.

Craving matcha turned into a mild parking obstacle course near California State University,…read moreFullerton, because apparently the real challenge is fitting your car into a space designed for a bicycle with confidence issues. Inside Vivot, it's giving "finals week survival zone" with students glued to laptops, one brave employee running the entire operation, and a self-order kiosk doing its best emotional support role. We kept our Matcha Latte classy, 25% sweetness with oat milk to really interrogate the matcha and honestly it passed the vibe check!! Smooth, solid, and worth the parking gymnastics. Oh and also, they are open late, closes at 11pm week nights and midnight on weekends.

I had ordered a milk tea and their Thai tea and was super disappointed with the flavor it was complete milk unfortunately and no sweeteners despite us having the 100% sweetener option. The drinks came out very far from each other time wise as well which isn't a super big issue but it's noticeable and could be an issue for bigger orders. Super busy somehow so we didn't want to burden the worker while the store had a rush. Other than that the place gave me a very pretentious vibe. I'm all for starting a business you're passionate about but it's hard to see what's different about THIS cafe in a world full of other businesses claiming to be different that's serving the same items (matcha specifically). Not to say that there's not bad matcha or coffee out there, there is. Seems like the type of cafe people go to take a picture of their drinks and pretend like they're connoisseurs and pretend that it's "different" than whatever else is out there and sit and pretend to study on their laptop (even though it's the loudest and crowded place in the world in there). Seeing that the place opened recently, it's very hard to believe this isn't some type of money grab for a younger audience to serve trendy drinks. Or at the very least, a very expensive passion project for the owner. Overall just more focused on aesthetics more than anything.
