I work in palos verdes and live in Downey so it's convenient and on my way to work. I get the cookie butter latte and always get a design added. That's my personal favorite sometimes I get the horchata latte and it's also delicious also the staff here is amazing all the ladies are sweet and helpful each time I stop by ! Hi! I've been going to your Bellflower location for a while now and usually stop by about 3-4 times a week, but recently the drinks haven't been tasting the same. The cold foam has been really watery, and I ordered the Cinnamon Swirl recently and it barely had any topping or cinnamon flavor. My daughter also got a Banana Matcha and it tasted very watered down. I was so confused I didn't realize Solid coffee roasters was gone! I was like okay they sell Mexican sweet bread that's different. I ordered a hot cafe latte still thinking it's solid coffee but as soon as I took a sip I thought this is awful. Realized the coffee sleeve reads panas café I was basically overcharged for a cup of hot milk with the essence of coffee. I need strong good quality beans. This is not the place for me. Decided to give this place a try and the staff was super nice on letting me customize my drink to my liking and I was really happy with it. I got a Spanish latte with 2 shots of espresso and banana cold foam on top! The ambiance is nice because it's an open area where there's plenty of seating and other food spots in case you want to grab a bite. Not sure if there was a change in ingredients but noticed more of a watered down flavor, cold foam was watered down and toppings seemed very light, plus more ice. I usually taste the cookie flavor and could taste the toppings but today was different, definitely was more of a plain iced coffee and didn't have a cookie butter taste. Pana's Café, a Mexican inspired coffee shop located at SteelCraft in Bellflower, CA. We are excited to share this new location and all their Latino inspired drinks! We ordered the signature drink, Pana's Latte, which is already served with oatmilk. This drink is similar to the Spanish Latte, which consists of condensed milk and cinnamon. This drink was very milky and blended well with the contents inside. We enjoyed this drink and the classical taste that reflected the Spanish Latte. We also ordered El Abuelo. This iced drink is a "traditional brew" with a layer of sweet foam. Their brew is their Cafe de Olla that they make, which consists of a very strong cinnamon flavor. We enjoyed the flavor and the foam, made with heavy cream, added a nice sweet blend to their traditional brew. The pastry we ordered was a Mexican concha, which you can never go wrong with. We enjoyed Pana's Café as they have great drinks and splendid flavors! We love that this location is Latino owned, showing Latin flavors for everyone to share and enjoy! She then looked at the barista and smirked, I don't know if that offended them, but I didn't ask it or mean it in an offensive way, so the barista answered & said they have their own baker and I said " oh that's cool. I know a lot of coffee places get it from bakeries" then they looked at each other and made smirks and laughed like it was so funny. STRAIGHT MEAN GIRL ENERGY & so uncalled for, definitely not a vibe. Coffee is not good either, on the sweeter side. Needless to say I went back for my $7 refund & Will never be back. The ambiance is really nice there's also a lot shops all around but they're closed (I came around 10ish AM). This is a great Latine-owned cafe! You can see and feel the love they out into their beverages through their interaction. They answered all of my questions with a smile and greeted me when I arrived and left. Their cafe de olla is a little sweet but their cookie butter latte is one of the better ones I've tried around. Milky and sweet. Their horchata latte has a great cinnamon flavor but would like if they found a way to add in rice milk. An added bonus is their conchas are soooo good!! I think the best ones I've tried came from Mexico and these ones hit the spot! It can get a little busy, especially on the weekends, but the service is fairly quick and everyone is friendly! I've made several stops here during the weekend to pick up my favorite drink on their menu - Pana's Latte. It's delicious! Today was the first day I visit during a weekday. I took my daughter with me. I ordered my usual and was greeted by the cashier and Edgar (I believe he said was his name) - he said "happy birthday" to my daughter as she wore her 'birthday girl' crown proudly! I proceeded to order and he offered my daughter a pastry and to top his kindness off a free hot chocolate which made my daughter so giddy as hot chocolate is her favorite! Ive always had the best experience coming here but today's was one for the books! Thank you to Edgar and his crew today! Not only are their drinks amazing!
