Great little cafe outside of steelcraft. There's plenty of seating in steelcrafts communal seating area. The cafe has a good range of unique drinks - lattes with a Mexican twist. My husband and I come here all the time because we truly love the coffee and matcha. The flavors are always great, and the atmosphere is really nice. However, lately it feels like the drinks don't last more than a few sips. My iced matcha is usually packed with so much ice that there's barely any drink left, and the hot lattes tend to have way more foam than coffee. It's a bit disappointing, especially since we expect better from a local coffee shop, not something we'd get at Starbucks. We love this place and really hope to see a little more balance in the drinks they're too good not to enjoy longer! read more

I've been meaning to give this place a try because every time I pass by they have a line and i'm glad I finally got the chance too. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and luckily I was able to find street parking but they also have parking in the back of their establishment as well as a parking garage across the street. I went with the Cookie Butter Iced Latte and it was DELICIOUS, I can't wait to go back for another one. They were pretty busy so there was a bit of a wait time but nothing too crazy, they have two shaded tables where you can sit and wait for your order, I can't wait to go back and try more items on their menu read more

First time coming to this local small business and love their vibe and back story. Doesn't hurt that their coffee is *chefs kiss*. You can order in English or show off your Spanish skills; you're welcome either way! Their hot cocoa was perfect and the iced matcha was divine. Their matcha isn't overly sweet and has an authentic matcha flavor- definitely not watered down. They do give you the option to adjust sweetness (I ordered the default sweetness) for your matcha, but luckily they got it right! read more

My absolute favorite coffee shop in Bellflower. My favorite latte is La fresita! But their panas latte is a better spanish latte than anywhere I have ever tried before. They have their signature lattes and, every month, have a different theme of specialty lattes depending on the theme. The workers are always very sweet and seem really enthusiastic to help. it is connected to steel craft so you can enjoy inside that area and chill or grab for the go. I've been here a couple of times and the coffee is delicious. I finally tried the concha's and sadly it tasted old. Not sure if it's because the sun was hitting them? But that was disappointing. I stopped by thirty minutes before closing because I had seen it's really busy during the day, they were still busy but my drink was out in under 10 minutes which was really nice. The gentleman at the cash register was really nice, but two of the employees were talking about how they were ready to get out of there and said "are we almost done" and "luckily we are closed tomorrow" as I was standing there waiting for my order to be taken. I understand how annoying it would be someone coming in thirty minutes before closing but maybe save the conversation for clean up hours? I also genuinely wanted to know if the cookie butter latte was really sweet and the gentleman at the cash register did answer honestly with a "yes, but we can make it less sweet" the same employees making the drinks looked at each other and kinda laughed at the question. Looking back it is a stupid question it being a "cookie butter latte" but they could've left out the snarky giggles. The cookie butter latte was the perfect amount of sweet because it was "half sweetened" it cost 7.25 and I tipped a dollar. I would've given a five star rating if I felt more welcomed by the staff. They have a nice location it being attached to steelcraft, it's a very cute set up. read more

Pana's is located in one of the best spots in Bellflower, you can grab a coffee and sit in the open area, listen to live music (on designated days) or even grab a bite to eat since there's a few other options for food surrounding it. Didn't get to interact with the staff since the ordering system is a screen which is not my favorite but the staff is present and available if you have any questions about drinks,etc. If you're looking for a great Cafe de Olla cold brew, the El Abuelo is the drink for you!!! read more

First of all 10/10! I had the Pana's latte and loved it! It was so delicious I would definitely recommend and will be going back. As we where leaving there was a lady and man folding shirts with their logo ( I'm assuming the owners of the cafe) not sure however, we expressed interest in the shirts thinking maybe they sell them at the cafe but they where actually for their employees and gifted me a shirt any way. I thought that was so sweet of them. The cafe is also located in a good area with plenty of parking space give it a try for your next dose of caffeine you won't be disappointed. read more

Ordered from the touch screen, employee at the window was nice and answered questions I had. I drove 20 mins to try this place out and it did not disappoint! If you're looking to support a local small business and enjoy an exceptional coffee experience, Pana's Cafe is the place to be. I highly recommend the Horchata Latte, it is to die for! Perfect amount of sweetness and cinnamon. They also top it with whipped cream too for an extra sweet treat! This is not a coffee shop, this is a sugar shop. They cater to these kids who say they like coffee/matcha but really they just like the sugar and an IG post. If you look at their menu...it's all sugar. If they offer regular coffee drinks, it's not advertised. read more

The indoor space is on the smaller side, but it still feels comfortable and welcoming. They also have a pastry case when you walk in, and the coffee bar is set up in the back. One of the coolest things about the cafe is the robotic arm that makes the coffee. I honestly wasn't expecting that and thought it was pretty fun to watch. For drinks, we tried the Hot Biscoff Cookie Latte and the Double Matcha. The Biscoff Cookie Latte was my favorite. It had a nice Biscoff flavor without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The Double Matcha was also really good, smooth and creamy with a nice matcha flavor. They can also add latte art to the drinks, which is a nice touch. For food, I went with the Short Rib Benedict because I'm a sucker for a good Benedict. The short rib was tender and flavorful, and everything on the plate worked really well together. Definitely something I would order again. We also tried the Ratatouille Omelette, which was a great vegetarian option. It was packed with vegetables and had plenty of flavor. I liked that it didn't feel like a boring or basic vegetarian breakfast option. And of course, we had to try dessert. The Dubai Crepe was really good. I liked the chocolate and pistachio combination, and it wasn't overly sweet. We also got the Biscoff Cheesecake, which was another favorite. It was creamy, rich, and had a good Biscoff flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed One12 Caffe. There is a good variety of coffee, brunch items, and desserts, so there's something for pretty much everyone. The food was solid, the drinks were good, and the robotic coffee arm was definitely a fun bonus. My personal favorites were the Biscoff Cookie Latte, Short Rib Benedict, and Biscoff Cheesecake. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other items on the menu!

I was planning to check out a weekend pop-up at the Promenade at Downey, and afterwards, I just wanted to chill with a couple of drinks at 7 Leaves. Wait, *a couple* of drinks? Oh yes! I noticed that 7 Leaves had an offer for rewards members: Free Strawberry Hibiscus Tea with a $5 purchase. I could have gotten a couple small bites e.g. macarons with the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea, but I chose to get another refresher: Summer Mint, priced at $5.50. I don't think the offer would have worked inside the cafe, so I placed my order in my car and headed inside after doing so. Previously in the app, I was able to order all the toppings for a complimentary drink at no extra charge, but these days, you're only allowed one complimentary topping; I chose the crystal boba. I needed to use the restroom, so while my drinks were being crafted, the bobarista at the front gave me the six-digit code specifically for the left restroom. Was the right restroom reserved for employees only? Hmm not sure. However, as soon as I punched in the code for the left restroom, it was still locked because another customer was inside. I wouldn't have known if it was occupied or not, so I tried the code on the right restroom. Didn't work. I had to wait for that other customer to exit the restroom before I could punch in the restroom code for the third time. As soon as I left the restroom, I heard the bobarista call out my name, and she handed me my drinks in a takeout bag with a drink carrier holding my drinks. But since there was space on the community table by the front counter, I sat at an open seat there to enjoy my drinks and scroll through my phone. My takeout bag included two straws: one regular, and one boba. I went with the Regular Size Summer Mint since it was already over $5, and 40 oz of refreshing drinks would already be quite a lot in one visit anyways. I also declined on a topping, normally 90 cents, for the Summer Mint because with or without a topping, I would still only earn 6 leaves on my purchase. The Strawberry Hibiscus Tea didn't have any actual strawberry bits, but it did have a slice of lime in it. In the app, you can request extra sweet, but that drink was already inherently quite sweet that I fear if I had chosen extra sweet, it would have been over the top. The Summer Mint had a slice of orange and some basil leaves. It was kind of sour and had quite a citrus-y taste, a stark contrast from the strawberry hibiscus that I alternated sips between the two drinks so that my taste buds wouldn't be bored lol. If you wanted to go extra sweet on this one, I wouldn't recommend against it, but it may take away from the intended flavor of the refresher. For both drinks, I ordered Easy Ice, but I think they went Medium on the ice if that makes sense. It was more than I was expecting, so maybe I should request no ice next time lol. They have a pitcher of water at the front counter, which made me want to finish my drinks inside, and then fill up the cups with some H2O prior to leaving. Unfortunately, they had run out of water, and they didn't refill the pitcher. One thing I do want to mention about the drink carrier is that you need to shove the drinks into the slots. I tried setting my Strawberry Hibiscus Tea back inside, but it toppled over easily. Luckily, it was still sealed at the time, so nothing, or maybe a little bit at best, spilled out. The only negative about my last visit was that there was some little kid who came into the cafe trying to sell paletas to patrons who were studying or getting work done inside. Kind of disruptive to the coffee shop ambience I had sought, but he left after a couple of minutes. Overall, I'd be willing to return for a nice refreshing drink next time I'm in Downey!

My husband and I have been to Pana's Café multiple times, and every single visit has been amazing. The coffee is consistently delicious, and we've loved trying both their signature and seasonal drinks. So far we've had the Pana's Latte, the Cookie Butter Latte, La Fresita and their island coconut flavored drinks... and honestly, we couldn't pick a favorite! They're all unique, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The service is always fast and friendly, which makes stopping in even better. We also love that it's located inside SteelCraft, where you can grab your drink, relax, watch a game, and just hang out. It's such a fun atmosphere to spend time in. I had the chance to try their new Island Latte, and it was amazing! The flavors were unique, smooth, well-balanced, and unlike any latte I've had before. Definitely one of my new favorite coffee drinks. Coconut and macadamia nuts are always a hit. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the service was quick even though the shop was busy. They're currently doing a buy one, get one free promotion, which is such a great way to try a couple of different drinks to test out which ones are worth ordering . Especially for a new shop, I love that they're giving people a chance to experiment with the menu. We tried the Oreo Cold Brew and the Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha. The Oreo cold was really good and something I'd happily order again. The matcha, unfortunately, just wasn't quite there for me. Matcha can be hard to get right, especially for a newer coffee shop, so I'd probably pass on that one next time and stick with the cold brew. Overall, I think this place is worth checking out. The BOGO deal makes it easy to try different items. I'd absolutely come back for the cold brew.
