Coffee and more! They offer pan dulce, deserts like prepackaged tres leches cake, and savory items like burritos and tortas with carne asada and al pastor. Their Mexican-themed coffee drinks are my favorite part. We got a Buñuelo de Olla, Duvalin Cream Cold Brew, and a Horchata cold brew. I also heard they had a Gansito mocha drink, which sounds amazing, but I didn't see it on the menu today. Fast and friendly staff, expanded hours of operation, great food, creative coffee drinks and modern/clean facilities. Solid place!
I wasn't really sure what I felt like eating . I had previously visited another one that's only about 10min away a few months ago. When I walked in, I got a friendly greeting, and it was pretty quiet until I left; then it started to get busy and rainy. So, I ended up ordering three things: a rosca de Reyes, a.little.co cha mazapan I believe and a stuffed croissant like along with some stuffed. I also got some Abuelita hot latte very good and a chorizo and potato empanada, which was really good overall. The customer service was fantastic; they even refilled my water bottle for me. You definitely need to try the chorizo and potato empanada with the chipotle sauce - it's worth it! You will not be disappointed with the Abuelita and the chorizo Papa with the chipotle sauce
An earth angel blessed me with lunch delivered right to my door. The croissants were incredible! Interestingly, I had prayed for God to grant me strength and energy. Boom! Coffee arrived at my door, bringing a smile. God truly works in mysterious ways. The drink was delightful, but nothing compared to the croissant and coffee.
Chocolate banana ice latte is delicious! definitely recommend to try! They also have themed FIFA World Cup pastries conchas
This establishment should be called mariacheese bakery. I stopped in for a breakfast burrito but it came with cheese, it's a chorizo and egg burrito it's usually my go to since this burrito typically does not come with cheese. It came with cheese here and was told it could not be removed. I get it, premade stuff or maybe shredded cheese could be hard to remove. But Every food item included cheese! They should have at least one food item without cheese. I purchased a vanilla concha which was just okay and went on my way to burrito exchange.

We had a fairly large group, and we were noticed and attended to in a timely manner, with the staff apologizing for any excessive wait. I got one Cuerno Fino pan and a mazapan concha. Both were excellent. I didn't get a coffee but a lot of my peers did, and I kind of wish I got one myself. All in all, it was a great visit. Would definitely come again if in the area.
Big place with ample seating and clean. Even the restrooms are clean. They have a variety of coffee, matcha, frappe, and latte drinks. They also have pan dulce and some unique/variety slices of tres leches cake. also, if you feeling for something savory they have burritos, tortas, and empanadas. I didn't get a chance to order any food but went with the iced latte with pistachio cold foam. The gansito, horchata, and cafe de olla tres leche slices look worthy of a try!
The deliciously curated drinks and friendly service bring me back. Also, probably my second favorite strawberry matcha

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my group received at Mariachi Bakery in Downey. I work with adults with intellectual disabilities, and during our visit, some of my participants needed to use the restroom. An employee, who I believe was named Marissa, was very rude and told them they could not use the restroom unless they purchased something. I explained that we were all paying customers, but she continued to respond with an attitude. What made the situation even more upsetting was that my participants were treated without the respect and dignity they deserve. We have receipts to prove that everyone in our group made a purchase, so there was no reason for them to be denied access or spoken to in that manner. I do want to acknowledge Juliete, who was kind, respectful, and helpful throughout the situation. Her professionalism was appreciated and made a difficult experience a little better. Unfortunately, because of how we were treated, we will not be returning. All customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially individuals with disabilities who are simply trying to enjoy an outing in the community.
Service was good the woman was sweet and let us look at the menu. Now the drink was not good at all, my home coffees are 100x better. Nothing tasted like strawberry besides the dried strawberry. The coffee was not good at all tasted like the instant kind that's not even mixed well. Aesthetically it was pretty looking but won't be back again.
A little late review but came here around February and found out they had a whole special menu for Valentine's Day and it lasted all month!! I was surprised, the dessert and the coffee was delicious, perfect place to hangout with friends and family

Service: from the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted with a smile by Cristobal. He was incredibly patient and welcoming, especially since it was our first time visiting this location. His great customer service immediately made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Venue: beautiful, clean, and spacious with plenty of seating for families and friends to gather comfortably. It's conveniently located inside a shopping center with lots of parking available, which made our visit even easier. Ambiance: We absolutely loved the ambiance! The mariachi music playing in the background truly brought the whole experience together and perfectly represented the spirit and name of the location. Food: everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced in flavor without being overly sweet. We ordered the chocolate croissant, Abuelita's rosca, elote fino, and a fried pulled pork empanada with green sauce. Every item was flavorful and satisfying. The café de olla was warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning for more pan dulce, delicious food, and maybe even try one of the cold brews next time. Highly recommend! read more

I've come here a couple of times now, and it's one of my favorite bakeries. I absolutely love their horchata frappes, their empanadas, and their cheese taquitos. Super delicious! I hope they branch out towards the South Bay Area. I would go regularly. read more

Went here a couple times and I do have to say it taste a lot better now.. favorite now is the Mazapan Cream Cold Brew! ($6) Honestly felt like it was more sweet than the Abuelita Latte With Cold Foam($7.50). Lots of pan dulces to choose from, todays favorite was the Duva Concha ($2.50). The mazapan concha was very nutty, for true mazapan lovers ($1.55$). I've came previously and the birría empanada is my absolute favorite as well. Parking is medium sized, it is on a corner lot with other stores, but found a bunch of parking this Wednesday morning. Quick and friendly service. read more

I got a cold brew with sugar-free vanilla syrup. I'm glad that they offer sugar-free options The cold brew itself itself was Very strong. it reminded me of the flavor profile of Vietnamese coffee. I didn't taste any of the vanilla so I asked the employee for more. he was about to ring me up after I've already paid for an extra pump since they priced by pump, but I guess he decided not to and just gave it to me, which was nice My friend ordered an Horchata an iced latte. He also got a vanilla concha. He liked both items but didn't seem blown away. I like the theme of the music, specifically mariachi music, but I didn't feel like it had enough decorations to properly encapsulate the theme music playing, and I really like the decorations they did have . i would love to see more! there wasn't a ton of seating but there was some. I was very impressed by their selection of pastries. They were all baked in house and were affordable. It was on the pricey side. they accepted contactless payment. They have a restroom available for use. it was easy to find parking. it's in a lot with a few other stores. overall i had a decent experience although wasn't blown away by what i ordered . i like the music theme. i would love to come back and review more items if they invited me back. read more

Coffee is on the sweeter side, but still able to taste the espresso overall it was tasty. Service was friendly definitely a plus. Coffee shop was clean. Did not try any of the food. read more

I saw an instagram video about this coffee shop and I knew I had to come check it out. The whole menu seems appealing but I ended up deciding on the buñelo latte and I also ordered a cheese and jalapeño croissant. They were both delicious. And I can't wait to go back and get the latte again and buy more pastries. The bakery was very clean and it has a lot of seating available for you to enjoy your coffee there. Since it's Christmas time, they have their tree up and it feels very festive. The coffee was ready fast so their service is quick and convenient. read more

One of my go to coffee shops. I love coming here and trying their new seasonal drinks. I recently was here and had the chance to try the Ice Buñuelo Latte with a Churro croissant. Both were super delicious. The croissant was so fluffy and warm. I was pleasantly surprised and will be coming back for more pastries before the season is over. When I stopped by there were multiple people talking and just hanging out but they provide plenty of seating so there is always room to sit. My drink was done super quickly as well so didn't have to wait long especially since I was hungry. read more

I had the chance to finally try Mariachi Bakery here in Downey for the first time a in early December. I had high hopes for it because of their strong following and presence on IG. However, nothing truly wowed me other than the delicious pumpkin spice loaf bread I tried. I had a dulce de leche latte and didn't think there was anything special about it, it tasted just like the caramel macchiato from Starbucks which is nothing special. I also tried their cheese croissant and a couple of their mini conchas. The croissant was ok but the mini concha's were awful. Not sure if I just went on a bad day or if they always taste like that but they were no bueno. They were hard and kind of flavorless. I wouldn't get those again. However I would definitely come back for more of their delicious pumpkin spice loaf which was amazing! I am willing to give it another try to see if perhaps a different coffee is better but for now based on this experience, I can only give it 3 stars at best. read more

Such a cute and clean bakery. The matcha latte with strawberry cold foam was the perfect amount of sweet. The fresas con crema latte was strong and the perfect amount of strawberry cold foam. Both the croissants were good. The cheese in them was not overwhelming. It was the ideal amount of cheese to ham. However, on the jalapeño one, It would have been a little better if there was more jalapeño. Overall this is a great place for coffee! They have a vast selection of ice'd coffee's, frappe's and hot coffees. They also have non coffee options. read more

First things first, bring a sweater lol it was cold in there. This bakery is a blend of traditional and modern, which was refreshing to experience through some of the items on the menu. I ordered 2 empanadas: tinga de pollo and birria. The outside of the empanada was soft and flaky which I enjoyed. The tinga was very savory and went well with the salsa and pickled onion. The salsa is spicy so just beware! My husband ordered the chorizo con papa burrito. It wasn't bad but for the size of the burrito to the price, I don't think it was justified. It was really skinny and lacked more ingredients. We also ordered drinks, I got the iced cafe de olla with sweet cream and my husband got the strawberry horchata. The iced cafe de olla was not bad but it was missing more cinnamon that you taste traditionally. I still enjoyed it but I will try it hot next time! The strawberry horchata was thick but it was really good. If they ever made a strawberry horchata matcha, I would buy it. Also, for the empanada de birria, I wished they offered consomé. It needed more flavor than just the meat. I would definitely come back and try other pastries. read more

It was our grandmother/ Mother date and we visited this location. They have plenty of parking space and the cafe they have plenty of space to maneuver in. We had our baby stroller with us so perfect plenty of space for it. I had tried their Whittiers location so this was my mothers first time and nearby where she lives so seeing they have one near by, I did not hesitate in giving them a try. We were greeted and let's say we were both blessed in finding out they had two last almond croissants! Perfect for our coffees. Service was amazing, the cashier was very helpful to us and we enjoyed our coffee date. My mom was amazed and almost cried cause their Americano coffee was spot on. With its coffee crema and hot how it should be. She was enjoying that coffee, my latte was perfectly made extremely well balanced. Of course all of a sudden my baby wanted coffee, good thing we had brought his milk with us. We were all included in our perfect date. I would like to thank the team for making our day amazing! i love the coffee here & the pastries however today i decided to try the food & i got a breakfast burrito- it is not fresh made or made to order so assuming they just warm it up. the burrito had cubed ham so as im eating it, i saw a ham that looked greyish green so i took the burrito apart & the cubes of ham were half pink & half grey. ive never seen that before & i deemed it unsafe to eat. i will not be trying another food item from here. read more

yes there's outlets. i would say it's an ok place to study. there's a limited amount of outlets and many people are here so the noise level is a bit loud
