I'm currently recovering from major surgery while also going through treatment for Stage IV colon cancer, and I've been craving all the comfort foods that remind me of home. Your soup has been on my mind a lot. I completely understand if the recipe is a family secret or something you can't share, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. It came with a side of Obrien potatoes and sourdough bread. The meat came with gravy which was not indicated on the menu, the meat was flavorless, and the potatoes were still frozen and not cooked all the way through. I did not send my food back because I am not one to complain. I just made a mental note to not return. I saw a server drop a piece of bacon on the floor, pick it up, and still take it to a customer's table. The same server later seated me, so I asked for her name since she wasn't wearing a badge. She said her name was Emily. After I told my wife what I saw, she immediately wanted to leave -- and I agreed. This is unacceptable. Management needs to review the cameras for that time window and address this issue as fast as possible. Food dropped on the floor should NEVER be served to anyone.

I explained the issue and politely asked to switch for a different flavor of pie and was reluctantly accommodated. The worst part was when the bill came, it was just numbers typed on a receipt, and the server tried to charge us for the soda she never brought. We mentioned it and she apologized and brought a new paper receipt with more numbers but no explanation. I looked closer and noticed there was an extra charge of $7.99 on the bill so we had to ask the server a second time about the bill. She said it was a mistake and should have been $1.99 and not $7.99 but blamed it on their cash register buttons. That could have been true but it sounded fishy. The fact that she tried to overcharge us by sneaking $11 worth of items onto the bill like we wouldn't notice didn't sit well with us and we will not return.
