Visited Mariachi bakery for the first time via drive thru, the menu, ordering & pick up spit is located on the passenger side which was interesting! I was a bit worried at first but it worked out perfectly. I ordered an abuelita ice latte and a burrito with chorizo and papa that came with a side of salsa. I picked the avocado & cilantro salsa, and it was a perfect combo with the burrito! Over the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was unable to visit the inside but the place does not seem very big. Overall everything was yummy! I look forward to going back

I absolutely LOVE this cute little place !! Service is always pretty good and I love that thier drinks, pan dulce and desserts are unique but not too over the top. To me that keeps all the authentic Hispanic culture and flavor this is a place I will definitely continue to go out of my way for!! The cafe de olla tres leche cake is FANTASTIC and I've enjoyed every coffee I've ordered!

It was my first time visiting this spot. Staff was Friendly. The guy knew his brews. The Tres Leches Cold Brew that he recommended was delicious. Definitely coming back

Mariachi Bakery has delicious, flaky empanadas filled with nice meats. I really liked their chicken tinga with onions with their chipotle sauce. Their chorizo con papa burrito is small but delicious. I'd come back for these things alone. I got a Spanish latte, which is an espresso-based drink with condensed milk and some spice. Definitely did the job and paired nicely with my pastries. I thought my guava "taquito" and cheese "taquito" were both on the dense side; however, I really liked their homemade vanilla concha/pan dulce. Overall, this is a solid place for empanadas, burritos, pan dulce, and coffee and I will likely be back very soon!

What a dope ass discovery. Service was A-1. The drinks were good and the pastries were good. Mariachi music playing with cool decor all over the walls paying homage to this music. They also have a drive thru!! We tried 5 drinks total and enjoyed them all. The menu had so many cool things to choose from that we knew we'd want to try and come back more. They had a whole selection of different flavors of tres leches slices.

I used to live here in Norwalk for about 12 years. I moved to cerritos and I hate that we have no culture there. Norwalk has so mich flavor and i miss it. Anyways, the food is greater in Norwalk, especially here at Mariachis with their pastries and mexican inspired lattes! To be honest ive tried many mexican inspired drinks from other places....either too sweet or the flavor is not there. The horchata was too sweet for me here, and so was abuelita, but what i love is that you can always alter the sweetness! I dont like how the drive in is in the opposite side of the car, so I always have to take my shoes off to get the coffee, although I dont mind cuz I feel like a princess when I grab my coffee...I get all excited when I take my shoes off and try to look cute while getting my coffee even if im fat. The only reason why im excited is solely for the mexican chocolate drink haha

Came by for some coffee and empanadas. Parking lot is available next to the store. Staff is friendly and services were fast. Coffee and empanadas were decent. Nothing much stands out. The empanadas were served warm, which was nice. Store is very clean and has interesting wall decorations.

I got a burrito for 6$ and it was delicious my sister got a chocolate croissant and we kept taking bites Of each others food because it was too good the churrizo burrito and the fresas con cremas latte was really good the parking lot is big enough for enough mukbangers and they have a lot of seating inside although the drive through is a little weird the passenger has to order but besides that really

They have a drive thru! But it's on the passenger side so it's a little tricky when you're driving alone lol It's my first time trying mariachi bakery. They have so many classic Latino favs like cafe de olla, abuelita chocolate, and classic black drip coffee. They also have decaf options for lattes! I tried the cafe de olla with sweet foam. Overall it was a super tasty drink, not too overwhelming on the clavo. The only downside, which was a tiny detail, was the sweet foam was underwhelming. I'm not sure what type of cream they're using for it but it melted into the coffee pretty quickly so you don't really get to taste it. 4.5/5

I ordered through a delivery service and chose pick up. I got to the location and there is parking but it can get packed, I went Friday morning. Got there and waited in the pick up section that is right next to the cash register so I waited while a lady in front of me got her food, the woman that was at the front then walked away and came back and gave me this look that I hate customer service people give, you know the "what do you want" resting b face look. So I was like " Hello! I'm here to pick up my order, got it through Grubhub" her reply "Name?" Like no welcome or hi thanks for shopping here, like it was so meh customer service, the burrito is hot dog sized but like overpriced because it's literally just potato mush and chorizo that thing needs some pico de gallo, chopped onions, something, lol The tres leches with the cookie on top was alright but not the best out there, the Ganzito blended drink was delicious and there's seating inside! Overall left me with a desire to try other spots lol

I was happy to visit at a calm time (11:30 am). I was able to take my time and see all the different breads, tres leches cake slices, and delicious coffee menu. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. When I arrived I was eating with my eyes, but was able to walk out with 4 concha's, 2 puerquitos, and an iced cafe de olla. The coffee is worth the drive out and very much enjoyed the quality of everything. Next visit I plan to try some tres leches slices. I definitely will come back with a small group to enjoy the experience and cute ambiance.

She has such a positive personality and great energy. She genuinely seems to enjoy what she does, and that kind of customer service is rare. Give this woman a raise already! Desserts: * Strawberry Nutella Churro Cheesecake * Strawberry Cookie Butter Churro Cheesecake Both cheesecakes were absolutely delicious, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Strawberry Cookie Butter. The consistency was perfect, and I loved the flaky texture on top. Honestly, I'm glad Leslie and even some of the other customers were hyping up the cheesecakes because I probably wouldn't have ordered one otherwise--and I would have missed out. * Dubai Mini Churros Fresh, warm, and delicious. They had the perfect churro crunch, and paired with the Dubai topping and fresh strawberries, they were absolutely delectable. * Cookie Butter Strawberry Cup This was my favorite item of the visit. I'm obsessed with cookie butter and I love strawberries, so combining the two is basically my dream dessert. Every bite was amazing, and I'll definitely be coming back for this again and again. Overall, every dessert we tried was a hit. Great service, great atmosphere, and some seriously delicious sweets.

You can see them cooking and frying everything in front of you, which is amazing! The Atole was one of the best i've had, usually they seem to be a bit more water down, but their Atole was not like that AT ALL. It was so flavorful. The strawberries they top the pancakes with and they use for the dubai strawberries were perfectly sweet too, it went well with everything. Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

Parking: They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a parking spot can be difficult. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with a decent amount of indoor seating. The tables and seats were kept clean. There's cute decor from the ceiling as well. This is the type of spot where you'd bring your family with younger kids for something sweet, while the adults sit and talk. When we visited, my family and one other family pretty much took up all the tables lol. Service: There was only one worker behind the counter serving and making the drinks and desserts. She doesn't acknowledge anyone. It wasn't too busy, but throughput took a while since she was by herself. There's two kiosk to order from. You don't really interact with the worker until she brings out your order. Desserts & drinks: We ordered a mixture of almost everything. We noticed there were a few menu items that were out of stock. I ordered a mango pamelo sago, my sister ordered a brown sugar boba milk tea, my cousin ordered an americano, and my other cousin ordered a strawberry & cream eggette. I thought the mango pamelo sago was okay; the mango flavor was lacking except for the actual mangos. There was plenty of sago, but I thought this dessert was underwhelming. My sister thought the boba was okay bc it had an interesting texture, and the drink itself was lightly sweet than what she's used to. My cousin thought the coffee was okay. The only thing we all enjoyed was the eggette. It's a bubble waffle with ice cream and fresh fruits, which is pretty difficult to mess up. Pricing: Prices are pretty high for the portions offered. Overall, the desserts were underwhelming and some didn't meet our expectations. The eggettes are most likely the only thing we'll come back for.

We came in around 730pm on a Monday night and there were a few tables taken. I thought that was a good sign since it was kind of cold tonight...if people are choosing to come here on a cold night, there must be a reason why! When we walked in, there was a gal at the counter, but was on her phone. Barely looked up to greet us, which wasn't a big deal since there are kiosks for you to order, but what I thought was kind of strange was she didn't bother trying to help us when we kept saying out loud "there are no photos of this or that" literally just on her phone and not trying to explain any of their menu items. The kiosk set up is on top of the counter, so we were asking these questions right in front of her. Lol. Made me wonder what the point of her sitting there was. Might as well have been in the back to watch whatever she was watching on her phone to make things less awkward. Luckily both our desserts were fine, but I did not appreciate having someone sitting at the counter only to let you know they don't care if 1) it's your first time there, 2) are confused by some of their dessert names, and 3) photos are missing for many of their items listed in the kiosk. The tables were dirty, my bag got wet from whatever was left from the previous party. Not cool. If the service (or lack there of) was better and tables clean I may have rated this place higher. Though the desserts were decent, not I'll be back. ** Warning Auto Tip: I noticed when I got home that they added a 12% tip to my total. There was no option to get a printed receipt nor was there a step to review ANY tip. I've never experienced such a thing, especially when this is a self service/pick up cafe **

Last minute search for something to drop off for the after school staff, could not find any bakery…read moreor cookies that seemed interesting enough. Searching down the map for the drive back from LA, saw this interesting thing. And great reviews from others sealed the deal to try it out. Online ordering with pick up time was very convenient. Driving down, got a text about 5 min before pick up time, just perfect. Cute and super clean store. Friendly gal grabbed the order for me and I was off in no time. Got the party pack (30) for the school staff, and of course had to try for myself too with a regular (9). Ended up being an hour and a half before I got around to trying our box of 9. Looked interesting enough. Kid took his bite and said yum. I took mine to the sink (lol) to catch any crumbs, but surprised me that it's not just a ball of a regular donut. This had an amazingly satisfying crispy crunchy exterior, with an airy chewy interior! I can't imagine how much better it would be when freshly made at the store! Even an hour and a half later was delicious... Me and the kid quickly devoured our 3 each and struggled to leave 3 for wife before we had to go to an activity. When we returned, wife was also raving, what was that, where did you get it? Trust me, you will not be able to eat just one. I'm greedy, I definitely want more than 3 next time! Donut ball itself wasn't overly sweet, just delicious period. I guess it's the toppings that add the sweetness. Only tried the classic (honey cinnamon, walnut). The other flavors will probably be amazing desserts, but I think all I need is just the donut ball by itself. Honey and walnut adds a bit of sweetness and bite, but the base donut ball is a shining star on it's own in my book! Good thing was the honey was mostly on the bottom and walnut crumbles on top, so you can rub as much or not of those as it fits you. Few days later, each of us were still talking about this greek donut. Just looking for a reason to grab this again. Father's day is coming up, I think it's time for a Party!

Got the strawberry and the birthday cake varieties and, damn, they were both so good!…read more Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, nicely filled with Nutella. That delightful crunchy fresh donut texture is to die for! But all the toppings are also great - both very clear and good flavors. Everything worked well together and no flavor overpowered any other. It was clean, spacious and comfortable inside. Great AC on a 100 degree day in March (this is our new normal??) The person helping us was friendly, informative and so welcoming, and took their time telling us the origins of the donuts, explaining the flavors and the options to us. Very sweet, very kind! We came in at 2 on a Tuesday and they had just finished making a fresh batch (they are made every 30 minutes), so we lucked out on that and got to try these at their peak! Really wonderful. This will definitely be a stop for us when we are out this way again. Might even be worth driving for as a special treat from time to time!
