    Café de Olla Tres Leches

I absolutely LOVE this cute little place !! Service is always pretty good and I love that thier drinks, pan dulce and desserts are unique but not too over the top. To me that keeps all the authentic Hispanic culture and flavor this is a place I will definitely continue to go out of my way for!! The cafe de olla tres leche cake is FANTASTIC and I've enjoyed every coffee I've ordered!

Mariachi Bakery has delicious, flaky empanadas filled with nice meats. I really liked their chicken tinga with onions with their chipotle sauce. Their chorizo con papa burrito is small but delicious. I'd come back for these things alone. I got a Spanish latte, which is an espresso-based drink with condensed milk and some spice. Definitely did the job and paired nicely with my pastries. I thought my guava "taquito" and cheese "taquito" were both on the dense side; however, I really liked their homemade vanilla concha/pan dulce. Overall, this is a solid place for empanadas, burritos, pan dulce, and coffee and I will likely be back very soon!

I used to live here in Norwalk for about 12 years. I moved to cerritos and I hate that we have no culture there. Norwalk has so mich flavor and i miss it. Anyways, the food is greater in Norwalk, especially here at Mariachis with their pastries and mexican inspired lattes! To be honest ive tried many mexican inspired drinks from other places....either too sweet or the flavor is not there. The horchata was too sweet for me here, and so was abuelita, but what i love is that you can always alter the sweetness! I dont like how the drive in is in the opposite side of the car, so I always have to take my shoes off to get the coffee, although I dont mind cuz I feel like a princess when I grab my coffee...I get all excited when I take my shoes off and try to look cute while getting my coffee even if im fat. The only reason why im excited is solely for the mexican chocolate drink haha

What a dope ass discovery. Service was A-1. The drinks were good and the pastries were good. Mariachi music playing with cool decor all over the walls paying homage to this music. They also have a drive thru!! We tried 5 drinks total and enjoyed them all. The menu had so many cool things to choose from that we knew we'd want to try and come back more. They had a whole selection of different flavors of tres leches slices.

Came by for some coffee and empanadas. Parking lot is available next to the store. Staff is friendly and services were fast. Coffee and empanadas were decent. Nothing much stands out. The empanadas were served warm, which was nice. Store is very clean and has interesting wall decorations.

I got a burrito for 6$ and it was delicious my sister got a chocolate croissant and we kept taking bites Of each others food because it was too good the churrizo burrito and the fresas con cremas latte was really good the parking lot is big enough for enough mukbangers and they have a lot of seating inside although the drive through is a little weird the passenger has to order but besides that really

A must go to spot. The display of bread is amazing. The coffee and espresso is strong and delicious. The staff are very polite and attentive to customer service. The decor is modern and clean.

They have a drive thru! But it's on the passenger side so it's a little tricky when you're driving alone lol It's my first time trying mariachi bakery. They have so many classic Latino favs like cafe de olla, abuelita chocolate, and classic black drip coffee. They also have decaf options for lattes! I tried the cafe de olla with sweet foam. Overall it was a super tasty drink, not too overwhelming on the clavo. The only downside, which was a tiny detail, was the sweet foam was underwhelming. I'm not sure what type of cream they're using for it but it melted into the coffee pretty quickly so you don't really get to taste it. 4.5/5

I ordered through a delivery service and chose pick up. I got to the location and there is parking but it can get packed, I went Friday morning. Got there and waited in the pick up section that is right next to the cash register so I waited while a lady in front of me got her food, the woman that was at the front then walked away and came back and gave me this look that I hate customer service people give, you know the "what do you want" resting b face look. So I was like " Hello! I'm here to pick up my order, got it through Grubhub" her reply "Name?" Like no welcome or hi thanks for shopping here, like it was so meh customer service, the burrito is hot dog sized but like overpriced because it's literally just potato mush and chorizo that thing needs some pico de gallo, chopped onions, something, lol The tres leches with the cookie on top was alright but not the best out there, the Ganzito blended drink was delicious and there's seating inside! Overall left me with a desire to try other spots lol

I was happy to visit at a calm time (11:30 am). I was able to take my time and see all the different breads, tres leches cake slices, and delicious coffee menu. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. When I arrived I was eating with my eyes, but was able to walk out with 4 concha's, 2 puerquitos, and an iced cafe de olla. The coffee is worth the drive out and very much enjoyed the quality of everything. Next visit I plan to try some tres leches slices. I definitely will come back with a small group to enjoy the experience and cute ambiance.

While visiting back home i was so exited to try new coffee shops and long beach and surrounding areas have TONS! i settled on 3 and this was on the list. I am soooo glad i came. The fresa con crema latte that was recommend to me was a solid. 9.5 I was going to try their version of an horchata latte cuz you just have too! We also ordered the horchata matcha latte which was perfect. I can't stand match but this one was delicious. My niece got the cookies and cream frappe which was good but it tasted just like the jack in the box shakes which are good but i wouldn't get again. The service was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by one of the ladies there. The cashier recommended lots and the choices of bakery goods were great. I grabbed the guava and cream cheese pastry, a Birria empanada and a Gansito tres leche cake. The birria empanada was okay. The flaky pastry was delicious! but the birria inside was not. no flavor and a thick piece of meat. The salsa they give you on the side is spicy but good. I would not get it again. Def try the chicken tinga one instead. The environment was friendly and plenty of space to to eat and enjoy and do work on the computer. There's also ample seating outside. 3 locations in downey, norwalk and whittier. A MUST try!

Heard about this bakery and had to check it out. Aside from coffee and baked goods, they offer breakfast items. Definitely will come back for breakfast. Love the strawberry hibiscus tea, would definitely order this and over and over and over!

I really don't enjoy dark, burnt-tasting coffee, and this was clean and well balanced. The staff were polite and professional, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed. It's located in a residential neighborhood, so the crowd leaned more local and low-key rather than overly trendy, which I appreciated. I also liked the music playlist, though lowering the volume just slightly would make it even better for reading or working. There's a small private parking lot, and street parking in the neighborhood seems manageable as well. The natural light is a major plus for me ... windows on three (or was it four?) sides of this standalone building make the space feel bright and airy. I'll definitely be back for light reading or getting some computer work done.

Me and the owner had agreed that I would arrive around 1pm, and my video would include their 3 new matcha drinks and 2 drinks of my choice. The girl working was honestly not very friendly from the start but i normally don't mind poor customer service because I just assume they're having a bad day. I placed my order around 1:15 when I arrived, she informed me she was going to complete a few other orders and then get to mine, no problem. The problem is that I didn't receive my FIRST drink until around 2:30! I have worked with countless shops and I know my place, I am not a paying customer so I will gladly wait off to the side until I can be helped. However, I have never once been left to wait that long, especially to only receive 1 out of 5 drinks. Whether I'm paying or not that is just outrageous. In that span of time I waited, countless other people were served before me and none of them were served in a timely manner either. I was a barista for almost 2 years so I am not discrediting then amount of effort that goes into it. However, this was just a complete lack of efficiency, time management and customer service all around. I didn't receive my second drink until almost 3. I did not anticipate waiting that long, i had other plans to attend to and also have an infant daughter to care for so I left. I offered to pay for the drinks I had received but I was told not to and just given a bunch of excuses as to why my drinks couldn't get made and how I should have just come on a weekday. I immediately informed the owner via text of what happened because I was not able to get enough footage to complete the content we discussed. He was apologetic at first and we had discussed me being given store credit so I could complete the content. I even offered to send the few videos I was able to get over to him. It has since been a few weeks with no reply and I pride myself of being honest with my audience so I figured I'd share my experience.
