I wasn't going to leave a review of this shop but I have since been ghosted by the business so I just wanted to share my experience because I feel like other people may be able to relate to the service I received. **I also want to preface by saying I've been to other KRAK boba locations and have had great experiences** I visited this location because I run a matcha/cafe review account on Instagram called @morganxmatcha so shops frequently invite me to come in a make content for their store. Me and the owner had agreed that I would arrive around 1pm, and my video would include their 3 new matcha drinks and 2 drinks of my choice. The girl working was honestly not very friendly from the start but i normally don't mind poor customer service because I just assume they're having a bad day. I placed my order around 1:15 when I arrived, she informed me she was going to complete a few other orders and then get to mine, no problem. The problem is that I didn't receive my FIRST drink until around 2:30! I have worked with countless shops and I know my place, I am not a paying customer so I will gladly wait off to the side until I can be helped. However, I have never once been left to wait that long, especially to only receive 1 out of 5 drinks. Whether I'm paying or not that is just outrageous. In that span of time I waited, countless other people were served before me and none of them were served in a timely manner either. I was a barista for almost 2 years so I am not discrediting then amount of effort that goes into it. However, this was just a complete lack of efficiency, time management and customer service all around. I didn't receive my second drink until almost 3. I did not anticipate waiting that long, i had other plans to attend to and also have an infant daughter to care for so I left. I offered to pay for the drinks I had received but I was told not to and just given a bunch of excuses as to why my drinks couldn't get made and how I should have just come on a weekday. I immediately informed the owner via text of what happened because I was not able to get enough footage to complete the content we discussed. He was apologetic at first and we had discussed me being given store credit so I could complete the content. I even offered to send the few videos I was able to get over to him. It has since been a few weeks with no reply and I pride myself of being honest with my audience so I figured I'd share my experience. read more

asian girl with black hair, green hoodie, brown leggings. maybe she's been working here a long time or had a long shift, i'm not sure... but when i came in, i was greeted with a sigh, which isn't the best first impression. there were no other customers, and there wasn't even a "hi, welcome," which you'd normally expect walking into a shop. another family came in shortly after, and they received the same treatment. my order was made quickly, but once it was done, she didn't say anything... just walked away and went back to sitting in her chair. the drink itself was actually pretty good, but the overall experience made it feel like ordering even one boba was a burden. i'll probably stick to a different spot next time. read more

This boba spot is in a plaza near the freeways and major streets in Norwalk. The parking lot is huge. The service was good, quick, and everything was clean. Lots of photo ops. My drink was smooth and delicious. read more

Service was great! Sweet people and they have alot of options. Very clean space very open and quiet. Service was pretty fast with one person working on the orders! Bathroom for CUSTOMERS ONLY. They have a BOGOF till OCT 14th with first time sign ups on the app if you do something for the app, you do get a lot of free and discounted drinks so I highly recommend you guys download the app. They also have a lot of specials which I like we obviously all love saving money so I highly recommend you guys download that app. I literally come here every week. read more

I love this place so much! Such a wide variety of delicious and unique drinks, with seasonal offerings. My daughter and I each got the summery peaches and cream, which was soooo yummy!! Personally like that they have a large selection of Signature drinks. Not a fan of everything being a "Build Your Own" model, not everythinh has synergy and blends well together. Service is what it is, usually high school/college kids trying to get through their day. Plenty of parking in the front to the restaurant. There weren't that many customers in the restaurant when we arrived Sunday night. The place appeared clean. We got the Dragon Slayer 50% sweet and Matcha Storm, $6.55 each. The Dragon Slayer was still too sweet at 50% for me. It was an interesting drink, wasn't bad, but would try something else next time. My friend said the Matcha Storm was alright, nothing outstanding. Would return if craving boba since it's conveniently located off the freeway. read more

I ordered the Taro Ocean with rainbow jelly because it sounded like it would be a pretty drink with the butterfly tea. It was a good drink. I thought the rainbow jelly was very light in flavor. Another pretty good boba place! They have IMO a bit more unique flavor and drink combinations. I recently came to try their taro ocean and it was pretty good! Ordering is pretty easy which I like to do through their app so pickup is efficient and quick. You can go into the store or they even have a parking spot right in front of the store to do curbside pickup. Although I haven't stayed long here, there's some seating if you want to hang out a bit. Parking is a large shared lot with many other stores but the times I've been here it's pretty easy to find parking even spots with a short walk to the store front read more

The Boba shop's Boba was decent, but the baristas were incredibly unfriendly. I patiently waited for my order, which was ready and on the bar. I didn't want to interrupt, so I waited a few minutes until I decided to take my own order with my name printed on it (note: which was sitting on the counter the entire time). However, the barista made a dismissive comment, "we'll hand it to you next time." I hope she makes the time to do so, as that was precisely what I was waiting for. She glanced at me briefly a minute before, but didn't greet me, ask if I was ordering, or even offer to give them a moment if I was. In my role in customer service, our primary goal is to provide hospitality and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this shop lacked both. Overall, the customer service was terrible. read more

I ordered on fantuan for 20% off and it was ready early. The staff is nice and the store is clean. I tried the strawberry snow with sweet cream with boba and it was great! The boba texture is good and the sweet cream isn't cheesy like other bobas which is good in my opinion. read more

This spot isn't nasty. I'll start by saying that. I just really frown upon bad customer service. I ordered my drink and paid for it and got my receipt with the time. So glad I did because after playing on my phone for a little bit... I thought to myself man it's been a while. The lady who took my order was in the back while the other girl was washing dishes. My order was an iced tea. There were 2 smoothie type drinks that were sitting there since I sat down (run the cameras back) So at the 13 minute mark I asked if they started my drink? I got up to ask. Instead of saying oops we'll start it now, she said we were making drinks and pointed at the ones I watched her set on the counter the moment I sat down. I said no you weren't! And immediately requested a refund. Lying about something I can see is crazy. Anyways won't be back. read more

It is krak time! hahaha. I like getting boba drinks here because of the friendly service and new refreshing twist to their boba drinks. Their menu is vibrant and fun with cool names. I like to get their "Queen Brulee" (super delicious and best fit for a queen like me) and "Moon Princess". Both are quite tasty and enjoyable. Pricing is on the higher side but the quality of their drinks are there. Had to wait awhile to get my drink as it is quite popular here. Indoor decor is quite fun with lots of neon signs and some indoor seating to enjoy your drinks. read more

AMBIANCE - Large, open parking lot with a lot of other businesses. Inside is very clean with nice decor. There's a good amount of seating with wall plugs, which is fantastic if you plan to do some work here. There's also wifi. FOOD - This was my first time here. I was looking for a really good boba spot and this one had good reviews so I went right away! They have a pretty large menu but you can also see what their most popular drinks are. So I went with their number one drink, which was the King Brûlée. Sweet for sure, but it was creamy, tender boba, and you get random chunks of creme brûlée, which was so good! Krak Boba is definitely a top tier spot and I'm definitely coming back. SERVICE - The customer service was great. Welcoming and they make your drink lightning fast! read more

I enjoy Krak Boba so much! The jasmine green milk tea with pink crystal boba is perfect if you like jasmine tea. It's so good. I'm happy I got it with the pink crystal boba too because it has a slight fruity/bubble gum-like flavor. The Guerilla Thai tea is always a good choice. I really have to try their Thai tea here because they do it right!! The Peachapple Green Tea is very refreshing and perfect for the summer. I'm new to Downey but I've tried several boba shops in the last month because I wanted to find "the spot". I keep coming back to this boba shop because they make the best drinks. The flavors are very rich, and the drinks are made to perfection every time. Other shops struggle with consistency, so you never know what you're getting. This boba shop gives me the same drink every time and that's something I value in any drink/food shop. The flavors are very rich and not watered down, which is my second favorite thing about this place. The place is clean and good for sit downs if you want to catch up with a friend. The drinks are ready quickly and you're in and out within 5-10 minutes even when there are other people before you. I really like this shop, and in fact, I think it's my favorite one in Downey so I will always drive the extra mile to come get my boba fix here. read more

So happy my friend and I decided to try this place out because I'm for sure going to be back . My friend got the matcha storm and krak coffee, and I got the guerilla thai. MAAAAN!! The guerilla thai seemed intimidating at first since I wasn't sure how the flavors of matcha, thai tea, and sea cream would interact, but it was the bomb diggity! I finished it wanting more lol. My friend and I shared some of the krak coffee, and it was alright. It was overly sweet and not my preference of how I like coffee, but it's fine! Next time I would definitely ask if the sweetness level could be adjusted. The service was alright at the time we went (8:30 pm). There's a good amount of seating and the wait for the drinks was approximately 10 mins. The decor of the spot is cool. Great ambiance! On the way to visit my mother in law and decided to buy her a boba drink. The dragon slayer is very delicious with mango bits, dragon fruit, coconut flavor slush blend.
