Such a chill vibe. We came in around 9am on a Sunday mooring and there was only one other person there. The staff was friendly and the drinks were delicious, we'd definitely come back.

This quiet coffee cafe sits on a corner with parking in a small lot behind the building (I never saw signage saying the lot was for Local Grind but I'm assuming it's okay). The interior has a dozen tables and the vibe is quiet and minimalistic in the decor department. I found the workers, both the person taking orders and the barista, to have personalities reflecting the weather that day - gloomy. I ordered off the seasonal menu on the wall, a hot gingerbread latte, and chose a cinnamon roll (yes, heated please). After five minutes my order was ready. There was one open table with a single chair that I grabbed. The gingerbread latte was pretty darn good. It really did taste like gingerbread with a little spice to it. After drinking half of it I realized the flavor was getting bolder so I stirred it up to even out the taste (looked like whatever they used to flavor the drink was settling in the bottom of the cup). The cinnamon roll was above average with an emphasis on the cinnamon (yay!) although the outer ring of the roll was a bit tough. Probably a 3.5 experience that I'm rounding up. As an aside, I noticed they sell day-old bagels for a dollar in a basket at the counter! I didn't get one myself but they looked good.

    Turkey sandwich no pickles

My post workout treat coffee , vanilla latte with 1 pump vanilla only is good. Nothing crazy but pretty standard and doesn't need extra shots or anything to be good. Tried their turkey sandwich today. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. When I first saw it I thought it might have too much tomato pesto, but it's actually amazing. The only downside is i wish it was bigger for the price , or cheaper because of the size. This sandwich was $15. On the other hand it's about the same price as Panera so I don't mind paying it. Service has been pretty good to me so far

Local spot in Los Alamitos to try for the first time by the Fairmont and Ganahl Lumber area Street and private parking and appears to have a front and back access entrance Aesthetically spacious clean functional pleasing to the eye vaulted ceilings, plenty of tables and chairs and really liking the nook in the front entry way Large selections of bagels look like around 10 but not housemade and for $3 a pop but they do sell day old bagels for reasonable cost and other baked treats and sandwiches Hot Chai and hazelnut, solid 8/10 Hearty soothing comfort Not overly sweet or overpowering I'm not sure if it's oat milk that is used but makes a difference in taste in a good way Cinnamon sugar bagel not overly sweet easily shareable and still tasty with a good crunch both hot and room temperature, would certainly get again! Tasty on its own without any spread. Pricing standard nothing to outlandish? I take this over Starbucks for sure! And opening at 6am is a win! Friendly service / attentive / multi tasking with patrons Cost for both items $8.45 Seems like a good spot to study journal hangout with pals date night chill and get some work done Certainly will return to taste more!

The cookie was so warm and delicious!!!! The bagel was amazing, I got it with cheddar and jalapeños. The iced white mocha was my favorite. I've never had raspberry foam before and I can't believe I've been missing out this whole time! Parking was easy to find, they have parking right behind the store. The ladies were wonderful and nice, they were cleaning and keeping the store sparkly clean!

Great coffee and tasty chocolate chip cookies. I got a 24oz Iced Hazelnut Latte with Oat Milk which will give me lots of energy before taking my 3 year old to a picnic. Inside is roomy with plenty of seating. There is also a back door in the parking lot. Service and pricing are reasonable.

I put in my phone number this morning for rewards but didn't get any... kinda weird , the strawberry matcha was a 10/10 though

    Hot mocha & Lox bagel

Visited early Sunday morning. There is plenty of parking in the back lot and two entrances - one from the lot and a front entrance on Los Alamitos Blvd & Briggeman Dr. Plenty of seating with soft lighting and neutral tones. I ordered their 16oz hot Mocha and their Lox on a jalapeño bagel. The total was about $20. There was a short queue when I had arrived, and my order was ready in 10-15 minutes. I'm pretty bias about Lox Bagels (I can't remember the last time I've had a bad one). This one was a bit heavy on the capers and I wouldn't have been able to tell it was a jalapeño bagel if my eyes were closed, but overall I enjoyed it. I added lavender syrup to my Mocha and it was a sweet, decadent treat that contrasted the Lox quite nicely. I'd definitely come back!

I had a great experience and the service was also good. The food and drinks were really good. They have seating inside and also sell items in the shop. I will definitely be stoping by every time I'm in the area.

Iced white mocha with caramel drizzle

Wanted to try a new coffee shop... I was NOT DISAPPOINTED ! There is parking and an entrance in the back of the shop. Upon entering it is so aesthetically pleasing. Definitely cool vibes. There are items for purchase merch... stickers... pencils all coffee related. It was clean and wasn't over stimulating. Initially I thought the baristas had an attitude but after further engagement I was slightly wrong. I ordered the wrong drink and they were happy to correct my mistake so I was very thankful. The drink was DELICIOUS! I got a white mocha 1/2 decaf with caramel drizzle. It was BOMB! $7.75 for 24oz . I'd definitely come back it was a vibe !

I ordered my usual, Salt Bagel toasted woth Lox and the Works. I ordered to dine in and they brought my bagel.and drink to my table. Very nice! The Lox Bagel was plated open face as it should be. Most other places put it together as a sandwich to go, even when dining in, and then you have to decistruct. Not here! Very nice! The Bagel itself is very large. I love a good Salt Bagel and this obe was perfectly salted (both sides) and the right amount! Lox on top, nice slice and fresh. Perfect amount of Red onion, thinly sliced along with cream cheese tomatoes; and capers. Definitely 10/10. The hot Matcha tea was great and hit the spot! It is very spacious inside with lots of tables. Perfect place to relax and get some work done. Other bagel places have few tables and you feel.like you need to eat and run (or just take it to go). It was a busy place mid-morning on a Friday, that itself says a lot! Ample parking in a shared lot. Definitely will be going back.

It was done as I requested. Good. I also had chips and a soft drink. The washroom was reasonably clean and had paper towels available... good. I have a bone to pick about the appearance of at least one of the employees. At least one of the employees wore his shirt untucked. I consider that to be unprofessional. This is something that I am OCD about so I am dinging this establishment one point. If I was going to assign a letter grade as is done in school, this establishment would get a solid B.

What was surprising was their banner said, Grand Opening Dec 29, 2025 and the store sign was Fresh Bagels and Cafe, so I was a bit confused. Well, it was bagels I was looking for so I gave them a try. Upon going in, the place felt brand new, the smell of fresh bagels, and a very eager and helpful staff. I got the spinach and Parmesan bagel, jalapeño Cheese and a plain cheese bagel and of course some cream cheese to go with my bagels. The place is very nice and spacious and next time I'm in the area, I might have to eat in. As for the name, apparently the Blue Mountain Bagels permanently closed and Fresh Bagels and Cafe opened here. Now they have a location in Buena Park, but I'm not sure if that's still open or not, however their Yelp page is still here. So hoping they create a new one for this GG location or update it.

Unfortunately, I really regret ordering the iced latte--it didn't taste good at all, and I felt like I wasted $7 on it. I honestly wish I had just gone to the nearby Starbucks for better quality at a similar or even better price. I might come back for the bagels, but I would definitely avoid ordering coffee here again.

My friends and I were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to make the 15 minute walk over, and it ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming. The cashier was incredibly kind and patient, and even though the place was busy, everything moved quickly and smoothly. There were people studying, having conversations, relaxing with friends, and it just had that perfect coffee shop energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The coffee itself was amazing. It tasted smooth, fresh, and honestly addictive without being overpowering. You could tell there was real care put into making it. Some places are overhyped, but this one actually lived up to the feeling people look for when they want a "good coffee shop experience." This is one of those places that becomes part of the memory of a trip. I would genuinely come back to SoCal just to visit this coffee shop again.

Alas, I saw a sign saying NO CASH meaning that this establishment does not accept cash as a form of payment. I consider that to be a major fail. Once I saw that sign I decided not to give this establishment any of my business. Though there is certainly some convenience with cashless forms of payment, I am absolutely against the establishment of a cashless society. I believe that a cashless business should be a clientless business and ought to either start accepting cash or else go out of business. Unfortunately my state of California has not yet passed legislation to make it compulsory for businesses to accept cash as a form of payment. Businesses that refuse to accept cash are discriminating against certain parts of the population, namely those who deal exclusively in cash as well as the unbanked and debanked. It is my policy to give any business establishment that does not accept cash as a form of payment the lowest possible score. I would be absolutely thrilled if people would boycott business establishments that refuse to accept cash as a form of payment including this establishment. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school, this establishment would get an F.
