    Cute merch

The Vibe There's nothing I love more than a slow Saturday morning, and Local Grind Coffee understood the assignment. I drive by this place all the time and never realized it's bigger and more modern inside than you'd expect. It's clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed, with cute merch and windows all around. I loved sitting there and just watching the traffic pass by. It was Valentine's Day, and they had an old-school R&B playlist playing, which really elevated the vibe. What I Ordered I came in knowing exactly what I wanted: an almond croissant and an iced chai. The croissant was solid, warm, and flaky like it's supposed to be. The iced chai with almond milk was a little on the sweet side, but still really good and I finished it happily. The Service The service was the real standout. This was my first visit, and the guy behind the counter was genuinely welcoming. Not forced, not scripted. When I mentioned it was my first time, he upgraded the size of my drink, which was such a cute little touch. He also signed me up for their rewards program and let me know my 12th drink is free. Friendly, thoughtful, and a great first impression all around. Final Thoughts Excellent experience from start to finish. This is the kind of neighborhood coffee shop that makes you want to come back, sit a little longer, and make it part of your routine. I'll definitely be back.

Cute cafe! Ordered latte with oat (yum), cappuccino (also tasty but prefer their latte). Friendly service. Clean indoors with some own local merchandise (sweaters, mugs, cards, coffee...) for sale--love that. Have pastries for sale too but did not try. Ample seating indoors. Nice pit stop after Pilates across the street :)

Terrible experience! I ordered a regular latte, nothing special. It took the girl longer than normal to take everyone's order. After ~15 mins of waiting for my drink, it never came. Three orders before me were delivered and my drink hadn't even been started. The folks who ordered before me returned their order because it was wrong. There were three employees and their sense of urgency was non-existing. Finally, I asked for a refund. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This quiet coffee cafe sits on a corner with parking in a small lot behind the building (I never saw signage saying the lot was for Local Grind but I'm assuming it's okay). The interior has a dozen tables and the vibe is quiet and minimalistic in the decor department. I found the workers, both the person taking orders and the barista, to have personalities reflecting the weather that day - gloomy. I ordered off the seasonal menu on the wall, a hot gingerbread latte, and chose a cinnamon roll (yes, heated please). After five minutes my order was ready. There was one open table with a single chair that I grabbed. The gingerbread latte was pretty darn good. It really did taste like gingerbread with a little spice to it. After drinking half of it I realized the flavor was getting bolder so I stirred it up to even out the taste (looked like whatever they used to flavor the drink was settling in the bottom of the cup). The cinnamon roll was above average with an emphasis on the cinnamon (yay!) although the outer ring of the roll was a bit tough. Probably a 3.5 experience that I'm rounding up. As an aside, I noticed they sell day-old bagels for a dollar in a basket at the counter! I didn't get one myself but they looked good.

Such a chill vibe. We came in around 9am on a Sunday mooring and there was only one other person there. The staff was friendly and the drinks were delicious, we'd definitely come back.

Great coffee and tasty chocolate chip cookies. I got a 24oz Iced Hazelnut Latte with Oat Milk which will give me lots of energy before taking my 3 year old to a picnic. Inside is roomy with plenty of seating. There is also a back door in the parking lot. Service and pricing are reasonable.

Local spot in Los Alamitos to try for the first time by the Fairmont and Ganahl Lumber area Street and private parking and appears to have a front and back access entrance Aesthetically spacious clean functional pleasing to the eye vaulted ceilings, plenty of tables and chairs and really liking the nook in the front entry way Large selections of bagels look like around 10 but not housemade and for $3 a pop but they do sell day old bagels for reasonable cost and other baked treats and sandwiches Hot Chai and hazelnut, solid 8/10 Hearty soothing comfort Not overly sweet or overpowering I'm not sure if it's oat milk that is used but makes a difference in taste in a good way Cinnamon sugar bagel not overly sweet easily shareable and still tasty with a good crunch both hot and room temperature, would certainly get again! Tasty on its own without any spread. Pricing standard nothing to outlandish? I take this over Starbucks for sure! And opening at 6am is a win! Friendly service / attentive / multi tasking with patrons Cost for both items $8.45 Seems like a good spot to study journal hangout with pals date night chill and get some work done Certainly will return to taste more!

The cookie was so warm and delicious!!!! The bagel was amazing, I got it with cheddar and jalapeños. The iced white mocha was my favorite. I've never had raspberry foam before and I can't believe I've been missing out this whole time! Parking was easy to find, they have parking right behind the store. The ladies were wonderful and nice, they were cleaning and keeping the store sparkly clean!

    Turkey sandwich no pickles

My post workout treat coffee , vanilla latte with 1 pump vanilla only is good. Nothing crazy but pretty standard and doesn't need extra shots or anything to be good. Tried their turkey sandwich today. Was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. When I first saw it I thought it might have too much tomato pesto, but it's actually amazing. The only downside is i wish it was bigger for the price , or cheaper because of the size. This sandwich was $15. On the other hand it's about the same price as Panera so I don't mind paying it. Service has been pretty good to me so far

I had heard this place wasn't the best for coffee but I wanted to give it a try. $8.75 before milk sub and it's very watery; you can't taste the coffee at all. Place is cute inside but coffee was a let down.

My friends and I were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to make the 15 minute walk over, and it ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming. The cashier was incredibly kind and patient, and even though the place was busy, everything moved quickly and smoothly. There were people studying, having conversations, relaxing with friends, and it just had that perfect coffee shop energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The coffee itself was amazing. It tasted smooth, fresh, and honestly addictive without being overpowering. You could tell there was real care put into making it. Some places are overhyped, but this one actually lived up to the feeling people look for when they want a "good coffee shop experience." This is one of those places that becomes part of the memory of a trip. I would genuinely come back to SoCal just to visit this coffee shop again.

Hits, lattes? HITS HARDER, new drinks like their walnut latte? Oh you bet it's fire. Their VTM coffee tastes very very authentic as well and I'm very obsessed with this place. When you enter and specially in the morning they're usually busy so you do have to stand in the line to order or go straight and pick up the order online if you've made one online. They're very very fast and efficient! Every single time I go Alex always takes good care of me, we're pretty much best friends at this point! On top of that, Kevin and Barbra are also extremely friendly and I really love their attitude in the past few months that I've been going to this place I HAVE NEVER had a bad experience with any of the employees quite the opposite, they actually make the start to my day 10x better! Now the place it self is extremely aesthetic, quite, warm and automatically puts you in the mood for productivity with a peace of mind because of all of the colors around (black, white and grey) I should've left this review a while ago but hey better late than never! Thank you blk dot for these amazing employees and coffee!

The matcha flavor came through really well, and it had a good balance of sweetness without overpowering the matcha itself. I also tried the Dubai Chewy Cookie because I was curious about the flavor. It was good and definitely fun to try, but personally, I don't think I would pay $8 for it again. For the price, I was expecting a little more from it. Overall, I enjoyed the matcha and would definitely come back for the drinks! The cookie was nice to try once, but the Double Matcha was definitely the highlight for me.

I know banana isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea because it has such a distinct flavor, but I really love how they construct this drink. You can genuinely taste the banana, and I love that it seems like they use real banana rather than that artificial banana flavor you get at some other cafés. It makes such a difference! I've also tried their coffee, and it's really good! Their coffee has a nice, strong flavor and doesn't taste watered down at all. I feel like they're probably more known for their matcha, but their coffee definitely deserves some love too. I've tried matcha from a lot of different places, including spots in LA, and while everyone has their own preferences, if you're in the Orange County area, I would definitely recommend giving Coffee & a try. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but personally, this is one of my favorite cafés. It has that cute little hole-in-the-wall feeling where you find a place that you just want to keep coming back to. The service is also amazing! Everyone I've interacted with has been super nice and welcoming, which honestly makes the experience even better. As for the pastries, they're really good too! They'll warm them up for you, and they have the cutest cookies that look like little cartoon characters. They sometimes have seasonal cookies as well, which I think is such a cute touch. Overall, I really love how much personality this café has. If you're a matcha lover in OC, I definitely recommend stopping by and trying it for yourself!

Since estate dales pop off in Buena Park this coffee shop has become a repeat on the weekend rotation. I recently tried their banana bread latte for the first time. This is not only banana flavored, but also has light pieces of graham cracker. There's no better way to describe this drink than a visual of my brain blowing - if only Yelp allowed emojis. I've found that a great quality flavored latte can be hard to come by. I like my morning beverages to be heavy on the caffeine - both in dosage and flavor. Arc has done a tremendous job of balancing the two. I've also tried their espresso tonic (insane) and their traditional matcha. Easily a top coffee shop in Orange County!

When I bit into them, I could actually taste and feel the fibrous banana strings, which made the drink less enjoyable. The banana syrup could be improved by using fully ripe bananas and taking the extra time to remove the fibrous strings before making the syrup. While it does require more preparation, it would make a noticeable difference. Ripe bananas are naturally sweeter, and removing the strings would eliminate much of the bitterness while creating a smoother, creamier syrup and cold foam. I also ordered the regular Matcha Latte, and personally, I found it more enjoyable than the Banana Matcha. That said, my all-time favorite drink here is still the Butter Honey Latte. It's incredibly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving that one a try!

Lots of rabbit decor, wall paintings, and statues. Very cute. There was a good amount of seating inside for those wanting to sit and enjoy their drinks. The bubbly young woman at the counter took my order and had it ready in a couple minutes. After looking over their extensive offerings, I decided on a Hokkaido Milk Tea with boba. You can request your sweetness level preference; I like sweet so 100% sweetness was perfect. The flavor was pretty good and I liked the squishy-fresh boba. My friends and I ordered a couple of drinks and regretted it badly. Despite being one of the only customers at the store the drinks came out slow because staff were talking to their friends. I wouldn't care for this, but if you can't make the drinks right the first time, then maybe you should focus a little more. It's not that hard to remember cream, when the drink comes with it. The drinks were overly sweet even at the 50% level and still lacked flavor. Their premium tea is masked behind the copious amounts of sugar and not brewed long enough to have a lasting tea flavor. Also, is it normal to have whole tea leaves in the drink? This is the only boba shop that I know does this. Overall miss the prior establishments as they were more consistent and cheaper. Not saying they were good, but in my book they rank higher compared to bunny cha.
