The foam on this drink was gooood! I like that this is made with harmless harvest coconut water; I truly believe this makes the drink better! The barista was kind and worked efficiently taking orders and making drinks. I should've snapped a pic before I mixed it because of the contrast of colors, but I was too excited to try. There was a lot of parking and it is next to Vinh Loi Tofu, so I also enjoyed some vegan food after. The interior is spacious, but there is not a lot of seating if you plan to stay & work. I will definitely be back!

I visited 8th Symphony Coffee today as part of my mission to find the best sugar‑free latte while cutting out sugary drinks from my diet. I placed a mobile order, and the process was smooth I received text updates when my order was confirmed and again when it was ready for pickup. The sugar‑free latte was impressive, definitely an 8/10. It was delicious with just a slight aftertaste, which is pretty common for sugar‑free drinks. I've had a few from other spots without that aftertaste, but overall this one was still very enjoyable. My husband ordered his usual hot drip coffee, which we always do when trying new locations so we can compare both iced and hot options. We're still searching for a place that truly satisfies his drip‑coffee cravings this one wasn't quite the winner for him. The staff was friendly, and the café has a good amount of seating, though most tables were taken during our visit. Very quiet and pleasant. Parking was also completely full, so be prepared for a busy lot if you stop by during peak hours.
Mission accomplished: matcha cravings satisfied!! We swung by 8 Symphony Coffee for my favorite kind of happiness, ceremonial-grade matcha!! The place was buzzing, but since our order was to-go, we were in and out without much of a wait. Big shoutout to Aron for being friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Customer service like that deserves an extra sprinkle of matcha powder!!! Thank you very matcha!! Then came the first sip. Boom!!!! That ceremonial-grade matcha delivered exactly what it should: bold, earthy, nutty, and gloriously green. No weak, sad matcha pretending to be something it's not. This was the real deal!!! Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm in the area. Finding legit ceremonial-grade matcha isn't always easy, but 8 Symphony Coffee understood the assignment.
Loved the service here! Tucked away in a pretty random location, but I really enjoyed my pink coconut matcha cloud for a mid afternoon caffeine boost. Super refreshing on a hot day! I definitely want to come back and try the regular matcha drinks and coffee options.
I love places that care about how they present their food and drinks. This is one of those places. I didn't get to take a photo of the ladyfinger that comes with the iced tiramisu latte, because it was so good that I chomped it down in 10 seconds. My drink had a cloud cream top and the drink was delicious to the last drop. I've had the chorizo & egg croissant, not my fave. But their chocolate croissant and their bacon cheddar scone was perfect! I've come back a total of three times now, and I live in the west San Fernando Valley for reference. Lucky for me, it's near my sister's house. The service is great, they have ample seating and a good amount of parking. You can work or study here. They also have merch!
Great atmosphere, with good seating, clean and chill music to listen to. Not too loud if you're working or studying. The employees are friendly and ask your opinion of the drinks. We didn't get any food but the display was clean, well maintained and picture perfect. We did order an iced espresso ($4) which my hubby gave a 7.8 and says the price is worth it. I got the strawberry matcha ($7 and comes with oat milk) and I would order it again. Not super sweet and the matcha is great. Not grainy or too earthy. The strawberry puree is really the only sweetener, so that's why it not super sweet. A suggestion is to make a pineapple matcha. I had one the other day and it was bomb! Made with coconut milk. So like a matcha pina colada. Mmmm
My girlfriend has been raving about this newer spot, so I finally gave it a try--best decision ever. The interior is a great size with a super cute aesthetic. There's plenty of seating with a mix of table options, making it perfect whether you're coming solo or with a group. They even have a cute little water dispenser, which I loved. Only downside was restroom was a little dirty and no toilet paper Service was friendly and informative, which always makes a difference. I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk and one pump of sugar-free vanilla, and it was made to perfection. I'm trying not to chug it, but it's that good. They also had a selection of pastries that looked really tempting. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
To be completely honest, I came to this coffee shop for two reasons: 1) they proudly serve Nami Matcha which I've been dying to try based on their reviews and 2) they are a Filipino-owned small business. What better way to support than to come and try their drinks. The shop is located in a relatively large plaza with accessible parking spaces in front. The shop itself was well maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing with bright lights and couch or chair options available for customers. The service provided was okay, served us with the appropriate amount of customer service required to take our orders. The coffee and matcha drinks were good, a little on the stronger side of espresso, with not as much sweetness (depending on what you prefer). Overall, I was slightly disappointed with the customer service and creativity in the drinks ~ however, if I'm ever in the area I may want to try it again.
I was really disappointed with my coffee from 8th Symphony Coffee. For the price they charge, I expected to actually get a full cup of coffee, but more than 3/4 of the cup was ice. After just a few sips, the drink was basically gone. I understand iced drinks need ice, but this was excessive and definitely not worth the price. If I'm paying premium coffee shop prices, I expect a reasonable amount of the actual drink, not a cup mostly filled with ice. Very disappointing experience.
While in the area, I visited 8th Symphony and picked up a Tiramisu Cloud Latte and a Blueberry Matcha Latte. Both drinks were delicious and I enjoyed that I was able to pick my milk of choice at no additional charge. I also loved the detail of the Ladyfinger given for the Tiramisu. Atmosphere was bright and a good amount of people were working or studying and it was extremely quiet. Bathroom was clean and fresh. Great place to try out if you love coffee and teas!
Hands down the best coffee spot in the Cerritos area They have the Nami Matcha, which is SO good--definitely a standout. The ambiance is amazing too, super relaxing with great music always playing in the background. It's the perfect place to study, work, or just unwind. They also have a solid selection of food and drinks, and the guava refresher is a MUST try Highly recommend checking this place out if you're nearby!
Very clean modern coffee shop. There was plenty of parking. The inside had a good amount of seating but it was still pretty full on a Saturday afternoon. Looked like a good place to study or get work done. They have a decent variety of drinks along with pastries. Got a regular matcha latte and a biscoff latte with foam, was very good

I stopped by 8th Symphony Café and honestly loved it! I got the Peanut Butter Cups drink and it was so good -- literally like drinking a bowl of cereal in the best way. The cereal on top was actually a nice touch too. I also tried the Biscoff Latte. It was good, especially considering I subbed whole milk for oat milk and it still kept the flavor. I do wish they added a little Biscoff spread along the inside of the cup for that extra biscoff-y goodness, but overall it was solid. The café itself is super aesthetic -- cozy, cute, and definitely the type of place where you can sit with your laptop, do homework, or read a book. I'd come back for the vibes alone. I honestly believe that I have had my first flawless experience at a coffee shop. When I walked into 8th Symphony I immediate felt comfortable. There was no confusion as to where to start. The smiles felt genuine and the service didn't feel forced. The vibe inside overall was pretty standard as far as ambience goes. I feel most coffee shops now days have the same minimalistic style inside. The coffee was amazing, it was smooth and there wasn't any type of crazy aftertaste. They have a wide selection of drinks and pastries. We got the pandan mochi waffle, iced americano, and the biscoff latte. We came around 8:30 am and wasn't busy at all. Around 9:30 am was when it got busy. They play music at a low level which is nice if you want to work here. There are many outlets to charge your laptop, and they have wifi. read more
I finally stop by here after so long. We got tiramisu cloud latte and hojicha latte. They were really good. Great coffee! I got my hojicha with almond milk. They don't charge extra for milk alternative. I also got half sugar and glad I did. They run on sweeter side. I know they're not known for hojicha but I really really like their hojicha. I don't know if it's bc I got it with almond milk but it definitely hit the spot. The espresso they used in tiramisu was really strong and cream top was sweet. It balances out each other. It's also very spacious inside. Lots of seats and tables for chit chat or work. Bring your Laptop! You'll love doing work here especially with that coffee aroma in the air. read more

Yummy drinks with cute desserts. Ordered a matcha cream top as a post-lunch drink, and I liked that it came as a double matcha. Strong matcha flavor in every sip, and tbh it kind of tasted like liquified matcha ice cream, haha. I approve of 8th Symphony Coffee! read more
8th Symphony Coffee has a modern, minimalistic aesthetic, which I love. They offer a good variety of pastries along with coffee and other types of beverages. I ordered the DMP ($5.50) and the Cream Cheese Jalapeño croissant ($6). The DMP was okay - nothing to write home about, and I probably wouldn't get it again. The flavors just didn't go well together. The jalapeño croissant, although pricey, was very good. The croissant was flaky, and the inside was filled with just the right amount of cheese and jalapeño. I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit this place. However, if I were in this plaza craving a really good croissant or coffee, I'd stop by again. read more
We needed some caffeine before going to Cerritos Mall and wanted to try a new coffee shop. 8th Symphony was a great find :) It's a little hard to find because it's on South Street but set back behind other buildings so it is easy to drive by. There is a good amount of shared parking but it could get full when the nearby restaurant is busy. It is a nice sized modern designed shop with plenty of seating including a large table that can be shared or accommodate a large party. The drinks are very good we had Flat White & Iced Vanilla Latte. Both were delish my Flat White was rich & creamy and the Latte was flavorful. Baristas were friendly and the shop has a peaceful atmosphere perfect for work or studying. read more
Coffee was great. I ordered their tiramisu latte and a cold brew latte. I wasn't exactly happy with my coldbrew latte so I purchased a side of their cold foam. The addition of the cold foam made it much better. Service was friendly. Interior of this place was clean. You can sit here and work or sit and have a conversation with friends. read more
Tiramisu Latte--7.5/10 the tiramisu foam was really rich and it was really satisfying to dip the lady finger it comes with in the tiramisu foam. I was hoping the latte itself would be stronger but it was a little watered down, but the overall flavor itself was good. Biscoff Latte--7/10 good, but the coffee and Biscoff flavor was a bit weak in this one as well. It had Biscoff pieces in it which added a nice texture and the foam was also rich and creamy. Biscoff Cheesecake Box--8/10 really rich cheesecake with a lot of Biscoff pieces on the bottom. Just a tad sweet but the flavor was so good. Overall, the flavor of the coffee in the drinks I tried was on the weaker side. That said, I do prefer my coffee strong so if you're looking for a "sweet treat" type of drink this is the place for you! There was a lot of seating and tables inside--great for a hangout or good place to study if you don't mind the noise. However, I did go on a Saturday so it was really busy with limited seating so I would keep that in mind. I would come back and definitely give some of the other drinks a chance! read more

AMAZING! Both matcha and coffee are delicious! There's a good amount of seating inside to study and plugs in certain wall areas! I would definitely recommend trying this place and also to study! Will definitely be back! Prices are a little high and parking is a bit full, those are the only downsides. Also only one restroom. Overall, worth it! read more

I visited this popular coffee shop on a weekday afternoon. Located in Artesia's Diamond Crest Plaza, there is plenty of parking. The interior has a lot of seating but it was crammed full of folks hanging out (and a few laptop campers) with not a single seat available when I walked in. I ordered an iced Biscoff latte from the friendly woman taking orders and also chose an almond croissant from the pastry case, slightly warmed up at her recommendation. Luckily for me, a counter seat at a window opened up just after I made my payment. In a couple minutes my name was called to pick up my order. The iced Biscoff latte was fantastic, the smooth brew (double shot) complemented by the mellow flavor of Biscoff cookie. Cream and Biscoff crumbles on top made it a pleasurable drink. The almond croissant was large and delicious. The rich frangipane filling was superb with a bold flavor. Whoever makes them deserves a round of applause. I've somehow overlooked this place in my past adventures in the Artesia/Cerritos area but it's now on my list of places to stop in for coffee and a pastry when I'm in the area. read more
My teenage daughter wanted a Matcha drink and here we are. There are quite a few coffee/tea houses in this area; however, it seems to have its own followers. Love the name, so classic! I am not sure it's the inside air pressure on a hot summer day, or something else all entirely, I had to muster all my muscle strength to open its thick glass door to get inside. Obstacle one accomplished on our quest to macha latte! LOL! From the servers to the lounging crowd, I think the average is about ~20 and younger, definitely a youth heaven! Great decor. I like the wooden long stretched bar table that ran along the glass window which allows for more seats. $9 for a Macha latte! I am so outdated! Anyway, inflation is to be blamed. They also served pasties in addition to the coffee and tea. My daughter is happy with her Macha and I am sure there would be more trips here once she starts driving. read more

Service was nice. The place is clean and I just love the design and esthetics of the coffee shop. I ordered a strawberry matcha and an oreo cheese. The matcha was good, the sweetness from the strawberry puree was just right. I have not had a chance to dig into the cheesecake yet, but it looks good and I love the packaging. read more

On my first visit to 8th Symphony, I tried the matcha cloud latte, which was solid and creamy. I came back for their first Beats and Beans DJ event and had such a fun time. I ordered the Biscoff croffle, which was made-to-order and super tasty. I will say that the paper knives and forks that they offer are a nice environmentally friendly touch, but weren't actually efficient at cutting through the croffle. I also tried out their hojicha latte, but unfortunately it was a miss for me. The roasted nutty flavor was missing and it leaned more milky than I wanted. All in all, the shop is cute with a good menu. I especially loved the concept of having live DJ events, definitely brought such a cool vibe for a coffee shop, and I'm really hoping they keep doing more things like that in the future! I got the tiramisu cloud and it just tasted like watered milk, no sugar what so ever and just a tiny earthy taste resembling coffee. I was soo disappointed as the coffee shop was cute and I loved the lady finger that came with it. Definitely would not come back or recommend. read more

I was in the area visiting my brother and stopped by here on my way home. The interior is cute. It makes you feel welcomed and want to stay to do some work. The barista was very friendly and welcoming. I was greeted right as I walked in and instantly felt valued. I love it. At other coffee shops, sometimes I don't even get a hello. Service 5/5. However, for the drink, I got a standard matcha latte with oat milk (as is) with simple syrup. I think I prefer whole milk rather than oat milk, but I wanted to try the drink in its natural form. As a result, the latte tasted average, 3/5. I parked in a different lot, but parking is really easy. No difficulties. Overall, I would say 4/5. Whenever I'm in the area visiting, I'll try the latte again with whole milk and see how it goes. read more

If you need a place to be productive, 8th Symphony is a great remote worker cafe. It is clean, beautifully designed and minimalist. It's not super busy, which is great because you can really get a table to yourself and not worry about leaving your things out if you need to use the restroom. There are many tables and electrical outlets for use also. The matcha latte was pretty standard. I loved how large the size is compared to other places that charge the same amount for a smaller cup. I wish they had more tea options, just a plain jasmine tea would have been my first choice but I didn't see any on the menu. I will definitely come back. read more

Wow I forgot to rate this place? Can't believe it, been here so many times! The first I came with my coworkers I got matcha cloud late, so good! The. I kept coming here for matcha late, and took advantage of their work space as well. It's so cool to watch staffs mixing the matcha from its powder form with hand crafted technique to make my matcha late as well! They take their work seriously, y'll! Off topic but love the clean, bright theme here, helps with focus while working. read more

Thought this store looked really cute when I was walking by, so I decided to stop in for matcha since I'd never been before. I ordered a matcha latte and their banana pudding matcha. The matcha latte had a strong grassy flavor, which is what I look for in all my matchas. As for the banana pudding matcha, it's definitely more of a dessert than a drink. I loved the texture and the balance between the banana pudding and the matcha itself. Although it was a bit pricey at $12, I think it's worth trying at least once. I'm usually not that fond of banana pudding, but I wanted to give it a try since it's one of their most popular menu items, and I ended up loving it. The service was super quick, and I definitely recommend coming here to try their banana pudding matcha read more

Came on a Saturday afternoon and place was kind of packed. Tried the tiramisu cloud latte. The coffee was good with nice mix of bitterness and acidity. The cloud was creamy. Staffs were friendly and the sitting areas were clean. But the bathroom would need a little bit more attention with the trash and toilet seat. read more
Came here after an event and I desperately needed a pick me up. My daughter found this place on Yelp and wanted to try this place out. Once you walk in the space is very inviting and many places to sit, relax ,work. Definitely my kind of coffee shop.. The owner was the one who helped take my order and was told that today was their 1 year anniversary of their opening. she Dave us complimentary dessert just for the occasion .. I'm always excited to see a new coffee shop pop up in Cerritos. I've been here five or six times now and can finally make a proper review. Some drinks were a hit; some missed the bar. This spot shines with their sweetened drinks and fun, unique flavors. The ambiance is also great and spacious. The modern decor is very inviting and great for photos. Service is great and friendly. I think they're still working out things and training new employees, so at times, I've waited a longer time for drinks. I would suggest following up with them because sometimes they forget to call the name and it just sits there on the counter. DRINK REVIEWS: Biscoff Latte (5/5) - in my opinion, best drink here. I get it 1/4 sweetened, and it's perfect for me. This drink comes with their cold foam/cream top, which reminds me of whipped milk. I love that it's not super fatty; it doesn't leave an oily mouthfeel like some other cream tops do. The cookie chunks on top are great. Slightly less sweet and chunkier than the cookie topper used in Flat White's similar drink. Tiramisu Latte (4.5/5) -This drink is also tasty. I enjoyed the tiramisu cream on top. I did end up reaching for the biscoff latte more; but both are good and considered my top two here. Butterscotch Latte (3/5) -a little too sweet in my opinion, and a little one dimensional but still a good drink if you like butterscotch. Blueberry Matcha Latte (3/5) -The matcha lattes here have been a miss for me. As others have mentioned in their own reviews (there's several people), the matcha tastes very watered down here. The blueberry matcha latte was the better of the two fruity matchas. It wasn't too sweet or sour, and the blueberry didn't overpower the matcha. Still, it was a bit watered down. Strawberry Matcha Latte (2/5) The reviews mentioning this drink were polarizing. The strawberry syrup tastes homemade with fresh strawberries, however, the syrup was almost too acidic for the drink. When mixed with milk and the matcha, it overpowered the drink and tasted like I was drinking a sour strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. Matcha Latte (2/5) As others have mentioned in their reviews, they couldn't taste the matcha, even with the extra upgrade for more matcha. I had to try it myself and now, I agree with the reviews. With the added 1 g matcha ($1 extra), I still couldn't taste the matcha. For a $7.50 matcha latte, you'll have a better drink at Holos, Bakers, or Stereoscope. I do think their matcha tastes better quality than Homeboy though. Matcha Latte with Matcha Cloud (4/5) -it made a huge difference ordering the matcha cloud with the matcha latte. If you like sweet matcha drinks, I recommend this. I did order this with the 1g upgrade but could not taste the difference, so I think the drink would be fine with the regular matcha proportions. Most of the matcha flavor comes from the cloud. I recommend to get the matcha latte itself less sweet or unsweetened, since the cloud is already sweet. For some reason, I also think their simple syrup somewhat masks the delicate flavor of their matcha. Regular Unsweetened Latte (3.5/5) - standard latte. They use the coffee roaster, Be Bright. I think their espresso is just OK. Nothing great or complex. A little bit weak. I'd say slightly less tasty than Counter Culture beans (Homeboy uses these) and on the same level as Common Room Roasters (Mono uses these). I recommend Holos, Bakers, Solid, or Seven Syllables for really good espresso. Be Bright's decaf is pretty solid. I appreciate they carry decaf beans as an option. Overall, great addition to the many coffee shops here in the Cerritos/Artesia! Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

The Hojicha Latte here was super good. I ordered my drink with oat milk and there was no extra charge. The Hojicha came through very well and the oat milk made it even better. There are a handful of small tables for two, a larger table with a lot of seating, and bar chair seating. The ambiance is nice and a lot of people are usually hanging out here. read more

Is it dog friendly? As in, can I pop in with my pup to place an order with him next to me then leave after getting it type of dog friendly?
I would say so. I've seen some people come in and out with their pups after receiving their order. I think so long as they're not disruptive during the visit.
