Sweet & Sour Chicken w/steamed rice Shrimp in lobster sauce w/fried rice

Been coming here since I was a kid. The fried rice is now just rice cooked in soy sauce so that's a bummer, otherwise everything tastes good. Prices have increased a little for two lunch specials we paid $40.

Wanton soup

There are days you just crave for some good Chinese food! My friend is not feeling well and he wanted a soothing hot soup and he wanted the War wanton soup from this restaurant because it has always left good memories in the past. So here we were, two worker-bees indulging on bowls of yummy wanton soup at lunch hour. The only thing missing is a cold snowy/rainy weather, LOL! The portion was generous; the vegetables( sliced carrots, cabbages, zucchini, and broccoli), the shrimps (3 pieces?), and some smooth chicken meat were fresh looking and delicious. You can tell the wantons were homemade because the fillings was very different, it tasted a bit like char siao meat, don't look for meat in the wanton which was just a smear; the chicken chunks in the soup should satisfy you. I could not stop slurping because the soup was so hot even after 10min car ride! Will sure pay a visit to the restaurant one day!

Egg drop soup

Small place but food is pretty good. Food here is made to order! Not already made buffet style pick & serve! Very delicious and fulfilling! I ordered the lunch special, includes one side order of your choice, I got the beef and broccoli with fried rice it also comes with small soup of the day, and an egg roll. I recommend this place Definitely would buy from here again.. Nothing fancy It's a small and cozy.

The pickled vegetables were a nice accompaniment, to refresh the palate between wings. The Seafood Noodles had a nice flavor to the broth; however, I ordered it with egg noodles, which I would have preferred to be a bit more al dente. Lastly, the Cambo Khrack Iced Coffee was pretty decent--the coffee taste definitely came through and wasn't diluted. Service: No complaints! Immediately attended to, upon walking through the doors. A few waiters constantly checked in on us, and one had an infectious energy. Also, appreciate the accommodation for our vegetarian friend, who had Tofu Fried Rice. Ambiance: Casual, industrial. I ordered the Thai Boat Noodle and my husband got the Noodle King special. Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I was in the area at a doctor's appointment and my bf googled around the area for Thai Food. We…read morecame upon Thai Noodle since they were close by and the pictures looked good. It's tucked in a small strip mall with limited parking. The inside is very small, but cozy, clean, and has a warm mom and pop feel to it. The menu is pretty big with lots of options to choose from. _Chicken Satay ($11.59) Strips of chicken charcoal broiled. Served with peanut sauce and cucumber chutney. Always a must try. This was probably one of the most well cooked and seasoned satay. Very moist and well flavored. The peanut sauce was spot on and the vinegar sweet chutney is a perfect balance and adds a nice crunch texture. _Tom Kha Fish Noodle Soup ($14.99) Rice noodles with fresh fish filet, mushrooms, onion, tomatoes, galangal, kaffir lime, leaves in coconut milk spicy & sour soup. I would grow up having Tom Kha soup with my dad but was surprised as I've never seen fish kha in a noodle soup. I've had lots of Tom Kha and this is one of the top 3 I've had. The perfect amount of spices and aromas. Not too acidic or watery, and the right amount of sweetness. The fish was soft and had a good amount. The noodles were glass noodles, which was nice but I will say towards the end, the noodle soaks a lot of the broth. I would probably switch out for a different type of noodle next time. _Spicy Fried Rice ($13.79) Stir-fried with green beans, bell pepper, basil and your choice of chicken, pork or tofu. My bf ordered this and he did ask for medium but it was not really spicy (and that's coming from me, someone who really can't do spicy) Second time he ordered it mild and he said it was better and it did pack a bit more of a punch. I do appreciate that the rice was well seasoned and not too oily or buttery. _Orange Chicken ($13.79) Chicken breaded stir fried with Orange sauce. We have been on an orange chicken kick and compare to our favorite at Northern Cafe. We were pleasantly surprised, that this actually knocked it out. To be fair, its very different. I'm used to orange chicken being very sweet and heavy on sauce. This was more of a light sauce that had a tangerine flavor profile, so not overpowering, but still tasting the chicken with the sweetness being the enhancement instead of the main component. _Yen Ta Fo ($14.99) Pink rice noodles with special red soup, shrimp, squid, fish-balls, fish cake, imitation crab stick, tofu, white fungus & vegetables. I first saw this, when my gf, whom is Thai ordered it and I was intrigued as it was a dish I have never seen. I tried a bit and was a fan so when I saw they had it, I had to try their version. The soup was the perfect balance of sweet and sour (and I generally don't like sour), a bit acidic but also had a subtle light and refreshing taste to it. The white fungus had a nice chew to it, but more texture than taste. Safe to say we have found our new favorite Thai restaurant. We came here twice, and both times service is always very inviting and kind. Price is very fair for the quality and quantity.

Because let me tell you... it has been a **long, long time** since I've had Chinese food that made me believe in love again. Then the food came out. The rice? STICKY...PERFECTLY STICKY!!! Perfect. MOIST, not mushy... just minding its business and being amazing. Like, where have you been all my life? Why did you let me suffer like that? And the sweet and sour pork... listen... crispy on the outside, tender on the inside... it had layers. Emotional layers. I wasn't just eating, I was healing. The Broccoli and beef...game changer. The broccoli had a fresh snap to it mmmm fresh! But what blew me away was the beef, it resembled Wagu meet. So tender so flavorful. I was sitting there, slowly munching my night away, completely unbothered, living my best life like I had just found inner peace... in a takeout container, but better, it was on a plate! At one point I literally thought, "Is this what happiness tastes like?" Because I was in full "Wok Deli" Chinese style. No passport, no jet lag, just vibes. I didn't want to leave. I considered ordering more just to stay longer like, "Don't rush me, I'm having a moment." If you've been out here struggling like I have, eating mediocre Chinese food and pretending it's okay... stop. Go here. Fix your life. 10/10. Came for food, left emotionally fulfilled.

It originally struck me as ordinary, and my expectations weren't high. But my opinion changed when I walked out. The honey walnut shrimp was excellent, and I can't wait to try the other dishes I took home. What struck me most was the fact that the woman serving the food greeted so many people with familiarity and verve. She knew people's orders, habits, attire... And this was all within the short 30 minutes I sat down to dine. It is obviously a regular place for many people. What prompted my review was that, even though yesterday had been the first time I'd been there, she treated ME like I was also a regular, sending me out the door with a stack of almond cookies I didn't order. This place isn't terribly convenient to my regular drives, but I may just become a regular, too.

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

When I gave them my name, they mentioned it was still being prepared, which honestly made me excited because I figured the food would be extra fresh and piping hot. First impressions were excellent. The presentation and packaging were super professional. The black bag looked sleek, the container separated the toppings from the noodles perfectly, and even the utensils came in elegant packaging. Their bagging and presentation are honestly 10/10. The broth and noodles themselves were delicious -- rich flavor, great texture, and overall I'd rate that part a solid 9/10. Unfortunately, the experience changed when it came to the meat and broth temperature. Since the beef was raw, I expected the broth to be hot enough to cook it properly, especially because I started eating it immediately at the table outside near the fireplace. But the broth just wasn't hot enough. Even after letting the meat sit in the soup for around 4 minutes, it still tasted undercooked and had that iron/bloody taste, so I ended up removing most of it. Because of that, I wouldn't recommend ordering the pho to-go unless you're taking it home and can reheat the broth in a microwave. I don't have one at home, which is why I chose to eat it immediately nearby instead. That said, I would definitely come back -- next time I'd order dine-in instead because the flavor and presentation were genuinely very good.
