My brother in law was preaching this place to me for a while. Gotta say.... Its fire. Maybe not the best, but def tasty. After my initial review ive been here few times. Ive had the Oxtail Pho, the the combination Pho Dac Biet. Both were good. Both is solid, noodles not bad. Happy to have a decent pho spot close lr to home. Dont pass on the spring rolls. Grilled beef n pork are so yummy with the dipping sauce.

I was attracted to this pho shop place because of how rich and delicious-looking the Thai Iced Tea looked, and it met all expectations! In addition, I ordered their egg rolls, spring rolls with pork patties, garlic noodles with filet mignon, and pho. My favorite dish here was the spring rolls--I loved the texture of the meat in there. Their pho and egg rolls were okay--nothing too special but hits the mark. Service was quick and efficient! The decor here is very cute. It feels like I'm in Vietnam! I'd definitely come back for their Thai Iced Tea.

3/10/2026 Oxtail Pho Generous portions of oxtail. It was fall off the bone delicious! Oxtail and beef pho broth were both separately served. The pho broth was lacking in salt, however it was a clean flavor, not oily too. But something was amiss. We added the thai basil, the lemon and jalapeño slices and cilantro, yet it lacked in that hearty beef flavor. Like they watered it down a bit. The pho noodles were nicely cooked. The pho bowls were big too and can be shared! Chả Giò Eggrolls were crispy and delicious. Served with sides of vermicelli, lettuce, cilantro, mint, pickles and sauce. Customer Service Good service, friendly, kind. The servers were attentive and nice. Ambiance / Seats Lots of tables and seats inspite of the restaurant being on the smaller side, but the tables weren't stuck together, which I appreciate. The server came by and wiped down all the tables and it was cleaned often, which I appreciate. Only one bathroom available. Parking There is a parking lot behind the restaurant! Free medium-sized parking lot. If I was in the area, I would eat here again, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

Came back for quick dinner and restaurant is really clean and comfortable to eat in. They have space for big groups. The Stafford is always welcoming fast and really helpful. Every time we come we try something new and honestly everything taste really good never disappoints., the price is reasonable and the amount of food is great. Will definitely leave in a food coma. I will always recommend this place if you're ever in town and looking for it good place to relax and enjoy some great food.

Hair in tendon. Staff just says it happens.

Came back here again in 2026 after trying them out when they first opened. If you've had a lot of pho you'll instantly taste the terrible pho seasoning cube and powder they still use. They definitely do not broiled the broth in bones whatsoever. Don't be fooled by the large bowls. This place is the meaning of quantity over quality. I ordered a rare steak with tendon and there was a thin hair in my tendon and all they did was tell me that that happens from preparing the tendon. But the tendon is on the inside of the cow so why would there be hair inside. Do yourself a favor and drive a little bit to Cerritos or to pho 45 in la Mirada and you'll taste the difference instantly.

Headed to Pho Anvi before the movie and decided to switch things up--ordered the #15 instead of my usual #27. While it trades the smoky, garlicky profile I'm used to, it delivers a rich, beef-forward flavor with an incredibly clean, comforting taste. The broth was deep and satisfying without being heavy, letting the beef shine through. It was a refreshing change that still hit all the right notes. Another solid 5-star experience--Pho Anvi never disappoints.

My friend and I decided to come back to Pho Anvi for lunch today and needless to say, we had an amazing experience!! The food and service were great even though they were pretty busy... There is plenty of parking in the back too.. We will be back for sure in the near future!!

First time here and we were greeted immediately. We got seated super quick. We did get our orders taken quick as well. Pho came out quick for my boyfriend but my garlic noodles did take a bit longer. There's background music but not crazy loud which makes it perfect because you can actually have a conversation with whoever you're with. I would still come back!

I think the rating here is quite inflated since they offer a free drink for 5 star Yelp reviews. I wish I had read more carefully beforehand, but I was driving and just did a quick Yelp search for nearby pho spots with high ratings, that's how I ended up here. I ordered the seafood pho ($15.50) and was disappointed by how stingy the portion was. It came with only two tiny shrimp and just felt overpriced for what they offered. The broth was fine, pretty standard taste but nothing that stood out. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't come back.

Authentic, delicious and just all around awesome little pho spot! Service guy was so kind and checked on everyone, always filling water, asking if anyone wanted more noodles. The flavors are so authentic and my comfort food. Inside the decor and wall art is just so beautiful. Stay off your phone and enjoy the ambiance and good food! Enjoyed the number 16 and egg rolls. Can't wait to easy again!

I was craving some oxtail pho with my cute little squad. Mama Ve had the filet mignon pho, while my curly fries enjoyed the seafood pho packed with fish balls, shrimp, and veggies. For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari, which was delicious. The bowls were huge--bigger than my head and my mom's head put together, haha! We really enjoyed it, and it perfectly satisfied our cravings. I couldn't finish my bowl, so I had to take some home. I loved the interior and ambiance; it's peaceful, and the art wall is awesome. We received great service from a wonderful waiter named Michael and the rest of the staff. This place is conveniently located near the AMC theater and across from the DPSS office.

The food was simple and limited. I have been eating pho at home and in the bay area so expectations are pretty high. We did have come because they are only a few limited restaurant that open after 10pm. Upon arriving there was a waiting line outside, not to mentionit was drizzle rain outdoors. Services was a little slower than expected. For some reasons my rib bowl was out before the bowl of plain pho broth. It's a Vietnamese owner at a limited Asian location so business should be good.

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

June 2026 Updated review:…read more Bowls have been dumbed down by 40%. Less meat, more noodles, less broth and less veggie amenities. Truly disappointing since they upped the prices as well. So you're paying more for less good food. I would hope they read my reviews and go back to how they served big bowls of yummy pho with great ingredients. I know food is expensive but they've already increased their prices to offshoot current inflation. SO GO BACK TO HOW YOU USED TO SERVE PHO.

Honestly, it's basically…read morethe same broth, the king version just loads it up with brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatballs, so think of it as a fully stacked boat noodle. The broth is the star here. It's rich, flavorful, slightly sweet with a tangy kick, pretty sure there's some tangerine going on in there. Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. We also got mango sticky rice and this is where they really sealed the deal. Mango was perfectly in season, juicy, sweet, not that sad sour off-season stuff. Sticky rice was soft and actually tasted like it was made fresh, not reheated from yesterday. Waitress was attentive and nice. Place itself is small, clean, modern, very mom-and-pop but done right, not rundown. I will definitely come back.

I like how's there's more dressing as you get the taste of it in every bite. The dressing however was a little too fish forward for me and you don't get much acid. IMO, the fish sauce and lemon (acid) should balance each other out. They use big tomatoes cut into wedges (as opposed to cherry tomatoes which I normally have at other Thai restaurants), And they give a good amount of food. Chow Mein: my boyfriend ate this. He said it was okay. It looked pretty good to me. Thai ice tea: I ordered this with boba. And as I was drinking it, I don't know what was in it but it definitely was not boba. It was orange with a chewy texture. I checked the receipt and it clearly says BOBA.

The place seems to really show its age with the floors really dirty and the wood floors are showing a lot of wear and tear. We got there for an early dinner and the place was empty. The lady seemed tired or just not in a friendly mood. The food was still reasonably priced. Much better than the Tofu Chain's and food as good as I remember. I went with the short rib Tofu soup and it came with two nice size beef short ribs and the meat peeling off the bone. I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal.
