I am genuinely surprised how good the pho is here. I have had northern style pho from OC and SJ, and this place had the best fresh noodles I've ever had. The noodles had the perfect soft texture and soaked up so much flavor from the broth. The broth itself was so delicious with many complex flavors, yet still was light and fresh. I had ordered the Pho Anvi, and the meat was tender and tasty. I wish there was a little more meat though for the price. I had also ordered the shrimp spring rolls which were also very good. All the ingredients were super fresh. The service was amazing. I was greeted immediately upon entering and sat right away. The food came out fast and the servers refilled waters constantly. I couldn't ask for anything more from the servers! I will definitely be returning if I am in the area again. read more

Quality ingredients but lacking depth in flavors of some of the items. To start, I had a mango smoothie, which was pretty good. For an entree, I got a plate with pork, egg quiche, fried shrimp with crispy tofu and butter rice. It was for the most part good, but I felt like the pork was a bit on the bland side. 3/10/2026 Oxtail Pho Generous portions of oxtail. It was fall off the bone delicious! Oxtail and beef pho broth were both separately served. The pho broth was lacking in salt, however it was a clean flavor, not oily too. But something was amiss. We added the thai basil, the lemon and jalapeño slices and cilantro, yet it lacked in that hearty beef flavor. Like they watered it down a bit. The pho noodles were nicely cooked. The pho bowls were big too and can be shared! Chả Giò Eggrolls were crispy and delicious. Served with sides of vermicelli, lettuce, cilantro, mint, pickles and sauce. Customer Service Good service, friendly, kind. The servers were attentive and nice. Ambiance / Seats Lots of tables and seats inspite of the restaurant being on the smaller side, but the tables weren't stuck together, which I appreciate. The server came by and wiped down all the tables and it was cleaned often, which I appreciate. Only one bathroom available. Parking There is a parking lot behind the restaurant! Came back for quick dinner and restaurant is really clean and comfortable to eat in. They have space for big groups. The Stafford is always welcoming fast and really helpful. Every time we come we try something new and honestly everything taste really good never disappoints., the price is reasonable and the amount of food is great. Will definitely leave in a food coma. Came back here again in 2026 after trying them out when they first opened. If you've had a lot of pho you'll instantly taste the terrible pho seasoning cube and powder they still use. They definitely do not broiled the broth in bones whatsoever. Don't be fooled by the large bowls. This place is the meaning of quantity over quality. I ordered a rare steak with tendon and there was a thin hair in my tendon and all they did was tell me that that happens from preparing the tendon. But the tendon is on the inside of the cow so why would there be hair inside. Do yourself a favor and drive a little bit to Cerritos or to pho 45 in la Mirada and you'll taste the difference instantly. read more

Headed to Pho Anvi before the movie and decided to switch things up--ordered the #15 instead of my usual #27. WOW! I don't think I've ever been to a pho restaurant that provided UNLIMITED NOODLES! That's always been a thing for me, I eat my noodles way to quickly and just have all this soup leftover and feel so bummed but at Pho Anvi I have the chance to keep eating! My fiancé and I were near the area exploring a wedding expo and our friends told us to grab dinner! But as you know, wedding expos have so many samples that I was STUFFED! But we still went because how can I say no to pho? LOL While we were still so full we only ordered one Vegetarian Pho plus the tofu spring rolls plus an extra bowl so we can share When our food came out I had to try the broth right away, tasty and crisp! A little bit to much of the black pepper taste but still tasty once I added in all the veggies and a HUGE squeeze of lime! (If you know you know!) And while trying to spilt the noodles between us, I was having trouble since the noodles were so long :( and I think they saw me struggling so the lady she told me to stop and she'll grab me extra noodles, so nice! That was WAAY more than enough food for us and we grab an extra noodle since we had more soup left over and took it home for another meal! The tofu spring roll was tasty~! The dipping sauce seems to be a peanut based sauce, I enjoyed it! Parking is in the back, had to loop around because we drove past it and didn't see an entrance so keep an eye out for that! I think the rating here is quite inflated since they offer a free drink for 5 star Yelp reviews. I wish I had read more carefully beforehand, but I was driving and just did a quick Yelp search for nearby pho spots with high ratings, that's how I ended up here. I ordered the seafood pho ($15.50) and was disappointed by how stingy the portion was. It came with only two tiny shrimp and just felt overpriced for what they offered. The food was simple and limited. I have been eating pho at home and in the bay area so expectations are pretty high. We did have come because they are only a few limited restaurant that open after 10pm. Upon arriving there was a waiting line outside, not to mentionit was drizzle rain outdoors. This place is small and cozy and has great pho for a late night comfort meal. The space is nicely decorated and the staff is quick to seat and attend you. I got the brisket pho with added veggies. I wish the veggies had come inside the pho (they came on a side plate instead). However, the broth and brisket were good and flavorful. I also got the spring rolls and they were good but I do wish they had a bit more filling. The peanut sauce did add a nice creamy and tangy taste. Their menu definitely has some interesting/different menu items that I have not seen before so I opted to try their best seller #27 which has tomato, garlic, and gailan vegetables. Their onion slices were grilled and the meat was also precooked in this bowl. Because of the tomato, the soup is sweeter. The noodles are thin flat noodles but not the wide noodles. Their pho dac biet (pho special combo) is a classic and good. To our surprise they also do unlimited noodles! Which is great for anyone who is a bigger eater. I visited their location in West Covina a while back and remembered liking it, so I thought I'd give this location a try. We ordered a bo luc lac and an oxtail pho. The Bo luc lac was pretty disappointing. The butter rice was soggy and lacked flavor. The filet mignon was tough and salty. I like comparing oxtail pho to the one at pho 79 in Garden Grove, and this one didn't meet expectations. Came here on a cold rainy day last week, and picked up a bowl of pho to go. The restaurant was very crowded and several parties were waiting outside to be seated. The pho was underwhelming and the service was not great. We came here on a Monday night and there was a good amount of people, but we got seated right away. They unfortunately did not have Thai Tea. We ordered egg rolls and pho. The egg rolls were very good. The pho lacked flavor and tasted watered down, but had a very generous amount of meat and noodles. The noodles were very dense and difficult to break apart at the bottom of the bowl. Throughout our dinner, the server did not speak to us or come to refill waters. I work in Downey and have limited Vietnamese options for lunch around there. This isn't Asian fusion, this is the pho that I want. The pho that isn't hiding its lack of flavor with msg seasoning. They got real flavor and it shows in the aroma and the broth. I originally came in for their nem nuong cuon but then smell made me want to try their pho tai as well. No regrets. The broth is super hot and ready to eat with the bo tai thinly sliced and ready to put in the to-go cup and eat right away. Don't do this unless you know what you're doing because you can accidentally burn yourself, mess up the inside of your car, and/or get sick from handling raw food and not keeping up your own hygiene. I ate it in the car because I couldn't wait. The broth is hot enough that you can dip the raw meat in for a bit and place it in the bowl of noodles. It's too hot to sip right away so I dipped the meat first then put in all the veggies (bean sprouts, cilantro, onions, mints) which cooled down the broth enough that it was still hot but sippable. If you're sensitive to carbs like me and get sugar spikes (food commas) easily, focus on the broth as add noodles to the cup slowly and as needed. If you don't like fatty meats, these guys use the bo tai (eye round) cuts that are lean. The soup is still a little fatty, but you gotta have some for flavor, you know? If I worked closer to here, I would definitely come again regularly. The restaurant gets packed during the lunch rush but there is lots of parking and shade that's shared with local businesses. I ordered to-go so I can't say much for service but I thought they were nice. Quick to hand me a menu for ordering to-go, didn't rush me and there are two small chairs available so you can sit while waiting for your order. Otherwise, looks clean inside and your typical in Westminster/Garden Grove area pho restaurant. Come if you want pho and other Vietnamese food. I don't know many other places around here with the pork leg spring roll. The prices are reasonable for the area. read more
