    DISGUSTING SLOP!!
    Veronica R.

Came here to have lunch with my daughter today I've eaten here about three times and the food was fine but today was something out of the twilight zone I wanted shrimp with vegetables but was told I would have to pay $8 more if I wanted to add shrimp to the vegetable dish or $5 more to the shrimp dish if I wanted to add vegetables!!? When it was brought to my table, I was in shock!! It looked like somebody had vomited on this The shrimp had such a strong, pungent shrimp taste that I knew it was not fresh besides the gross soupy mess that it was drenched in. I asked the woman that served us that I did not like the dish at all, and if she could bring me something else. She immediately told me "no"without even allowing me to explain why I did not like the dish. I told her I would like something else again and she said "no u pay" I told her I would not pay for this dish and she said she would call the police if I didn't Every restaurant I've been to has always accommodated the customer, but this lady was from another planet She not only ruined my lunch with my daughter, but proceeded to set her alarm when I walked out She followed us out and started yelling at me and all I could tell her back was that she was a terrible person & gave horrible service Do yourself a favor & NEVER EAT HERE!!

Just plain wonton wrapper NO FILLING FOR $15 RIDICULOUS RIP OFF

Horrible Rip Off!! I ordered several dishes along with Fried Won Ton-RIP OFF SEE attached video. For $15 dollars I got the noodle wrap that normally is used to make wontons. NO FILLING!! One corner is folded over as if there is a filling but when I opened it there is nothing. The rest of the food was nothing special. This caused me embarrassment because I ordered food for my visitors. If you charge that much be ethical and provide a dish. To the owners: are you that desperate to make money and you rip off patrons?? Never again

The best mongolian beef I have ever had.

I would give this place five stars if there was air conditioning and if they hadn't shrank the portions. Irrespective of these issues, the food is still very good and you will not find better mongolian beef anywhere else. It is so tender and the flavor is perfect, you can taste the garlic in it but it is not too potent. Make sure you go during lunch hours because later on in the day the same dishes will cost you more money. Other items worth trying are the shrimp chop suey, sweet and sour pork, and the house fried rice.

My wife's friend recommended this place. He said it was "Really Good, A must try". So why do we do? We tried it. Service was great. Called it in. Gentlemen said 10 minutes. Very friendly mom and pop joint. Has a hole in the wall type feel. There were about three parties dining in and no one else waiting. But there were a few more tables available. Parking lots of it. Up the ying yang. Food was ready a few minutes after we paid. Got home and food was still piping hot. How was it? Already you say? Welllllllllllllllllll. Here is the nitty gritty. House chow Mein. Had beef. Chicken. Shrimp. And lots is brown gravy. But how good was it you say?????? Just OK. Shrimp fried rice. You can tell looks brownish. Lots of shrimp. Unlike some Places that throw 1-2 shrimp in there. But how was it you say?!?!? Just OK. Think they throw that brown gravy on ERRRRRTHANG!!!!! Beef broccoli. Beef was beyond tender. No fat. Juicy and tender beef. Broccoli was over cooked. And as you can see in the pictures THAT DAMN BROWN GRAVY!!!! Yes yes but how was it you say!?!?! Just OK Almond chicken. No idea what the heck that was. Chicken, almonds, celery in a brown sauce. YES !!!! THAT DAMN BROWN GRAVY!!!!!!!' Last the orange chicken. Crispetty chrunchetty hot, just enough ratio of batter to Chicken. How was it!?!! Ok ok well this was probably the best item of all. Was actually better thank ok. Why you ask!?!?! Maybe cause it didn't have THAT DAMN BROWN GRAVY and instead had a tasty orange flavored sweet n sour sauce. Best thing. Well. The egg rolls were also on point. So hot. So juicy. Snd double the size of the normal fast food Chinese food joints. May be willing to return and try other items. Key word is MAY and BE ..... well maybe just orange chicken and egg rolls. Other than that. JUST OK.

Sweet and sour fried chicken, string beans, and bbq pork chow mein

I love getting my Chinese fix here. Every time I know I'm going to be driving through this area, I try to order something. Everything I have eaten here has been good. I never had a bad dish. I phone in my order and it's always super hot and ready for me to dig in. A couple of my favorite are: Orange Chicken- I love the sauce and the fried of the chicken. Super yummy. Sweet and Sour Chicken- just like the chicken in the orange chicken but using the sweet and sour sauce instead. I have always been a fan of sweet and sour pork and I think I love this dish even more. The fried chicken and the sauce go so well together. Lately, I have been ordering this dish every time I come here. String bean and ground pork- yummy and not too salty. Chow Mein- I have gotten this dish with chicken or bbq pork. Both were good. I just really like the noodles. Doesn't matter what protein I order I just want the carbs!! Service, super friendly! Overall, I love it here and can't wait to try the other items they have!

Orange chicken, crispy with a great sauce.

Small place next to Sizzlers. A bit stuffy and hot inside to dine. Food was very good. Vegetable fried rice was flavorful. Egg rolls had a great flavor. Orange chicken was delicious and side note, the only chicken breast offered. Mongolian beef was great although I wish the meat was cooked a bit more. Would definitely go back, maybe try take out! Also, service was great.

    Beef chow mein 5/10

I was craving Chinese food and this was closest to my house. Service was great. Staff was super friendly. But the food was way below average. I paid $20 for chow mein, fried rice, and orange chicken. But to be honest, it wasn't worth $20. The orange chicken lacked flavor along with the other dishes. I think the fried rice and chow mein could've used some veggies maybe. Everything was just bland to me. I couldn't even finish my plate. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

We had been going to Hong Kong Chef since 1999. My mother had 2 hip replacement surgeries in 2014 and 2018 so I do not go out to restaurants any more. Does anyone know when Mr and Mrs Lee sold their business?

I ate their about a month ago , she was still there.

I will try them again because there are so many positives in the execution and preparation. The chicken pieces were plump and juicy, with crisp outsides and the shrimp were equally well done. However, the sauce for both lacked just a bit. Neither the lemon sauce for my Lemon Chicken or the honey mayo sauce for my Crispy Walnut were delicious. Both felt lacking in the spice and flavor department. All the elements were there, just need actual editing in these two recipes. They lacked any real flavor and the Crispy Walnut Shrimp sauce was a bit too watery. I wasn't too happy with my fifty dollar meal from My Home, however, they are so close! I would try other dishes from the restaurant in the future.

Our hands down favorite is the 3 flavor soup. It is awesome for cool weather, really anytime. Mushrooms, celery, broccoli, carrots, shrimp, chicken, and BBQ pork. If you look at Pho restaurant prices, the 3 flavor soup is a better deal and a satisfying meal. April 2026 is chilly, get the soup, and be content, and full! If you try it once, I bet you'll have a new favorite. My wife loves it. I order no chow mein in the soup for low carbs. Served HOT. Pretty nice and decent indoor dining area for a takeout place- with marble table tops, and comfy seats, asian style wall images make it nice. I grew up with depression-era grandparents and the norm was to eat whatever was in front of you, especially if you chose it- today I couldnt and that is rare. The noodles were stale, the fire-grilled chicken was..weird (the texture was fatty but the meat wasn't), and the orange chicken had NO taste other than one of slightly charred meat. I finished the soda-machine fruit punch/sprite combo and it was delicious - but not worth the $16.42 I spent not eating lunch.

This place is an institution. After I wrote that sentence, I felt like I was trite. And like I said…read moresomething but not really. Like, one time I was watching Project Runway, a season finale episode, where the designers make their own creations, and do not have to make their ensembles from shredded newspaper or bird seeds or pinata remnants. And after a so-and-so of the fashion industry said, "I wanted to go and rip that jacket off the model." This other time, I saw a poster for a coming musical and it said, "stop everything you are doing, and go this musical now" says this important person in the theathre world. What am I am trying to say is that the comment I wanted to do this immediately or drop everything and do this immediately is so overwrought and widely used that it lost all meaning. Kind of like calling this place an institution. So I will call this place what I should to not be drown in my own trite. One time I went to this place and I went cause I was invited to a birthday party. And it was a large group of people. Me and a friend debated if Penny, from the Big Bang, had eaten at this place. She was also in Charmed--- it is a household name, I can't remember it. So this place is famous enough to be a go to move, and it has many pictures of celebrities that have gone there. The food is also super good, so this place, like I said is an insititution. When I went there a second time, I was more aware of the place I was visiting and kind of was ready to receive its Chinese fare with an unhinged jaw. I was dining with a friend, the same friend that I had the is that Penny from Big Bang debate? It was not. She eventually one. But like she and I ate here again, without knowing we were going to the same place. I would say its a small world but.... She and I ate with gusto. It does not take a lot to know that the speciality of the house is their slippery shrimp. They also have slippery chicken and slippery tofu. Super good, sweet, sour but it was not sweet and sour sauce shrimp, it had differences. I am not sure what. There were some heat notes but not like terrible heat. So I am not exactly sure what this place does to make their slippery sauce but let us just that it was delicious and different than other Chinese food sauces. Ronnie and I had the works. Rice, Beef with Brocoli, Pan fried dumplings, and dumpings. It was the type of Chinese food that was so good a coke was needed to balance the decadent saltiness of the fare. Yeah, that might not make sense but I wrote what I wrote. We had eniugh food to share between the two of us. It was that type of meal, where leftovers were welcomed and made sense. They were not left over, they were left untouched because it would be a shame to not enjoy them later. The service was great. The place felt traditional, and like it took you to an alley in China to eat a grandmother's food who knows how to use a Wok and pinch dumplings so they stay close for good. I saw this bad review that skewered this place. And I am like wow! How can we be so different. Not like Ying and Yang Different, more like flutter and flatten. But taste is subjective, so decide for yourself if this place is a peacock worthy of its feathers or a tiger with its claws clipped.
