Chinese food is freshly made. Has great flavor. And service is pretty fast. Plates are shareable portions, and will not disappoint.

My dad was hyping this place up and I would usually suggest something else. But I went with him and it did live up to the hype haha. It's a clean space and the person who took our order was super nice. We got the lunch special (which is available 7 days!) and it come with a soup, drink and an egg roll with one entree. I got the honey walnut shrimp and my dad got the filet minion black pepper I think. We also got it with fried rice. Everything was so good! And if you order of $50 you get a free Thai tea I believe. Great experience here

Woke Deli completely surprised me in the best way possible. I found it while doing a quick search for the best Chinese food near Norwalk, and oh my goodness I am so glad I did. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest smile by Winnie, who honestly felt like that fun cool auntie who always makes sure you're taken care of. She greeted me right away, helped me order, and even brought my food out to the table after it was ready. That kind of care is so rare these days and instantly made me feel like I was at home. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and it was perfection. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor where you could actually taste the quality. The portions were huge, definitely more than enough for one person, so I ended up sharing with my siblings later and they loved it too. Prices were super reasonable, especially considering how generous the serving was. I got it to go because I went by myself, but honestly, I kind of love eating in my car and watching Netflix and it made the meal even more comforting. But I would say there were families eating in there on a lovely Sunday and the ambience was just right. Everything about Woke Deli just hit right, the food, the service, the speed, and that sense of care that you don't get everywhere. I'm already planning to go back not just for the delicious food but because Winnie made me feel like family. Quick, fresh, flavorful, and filled with love, that's how I'd describe this place. Highly recommend.

I've tried a few Chinese spots around Norwalk, but this one definitely stands out! The food was super fresh, flavorful, and came out hot (which is rare lately). I ordered the orange chicken and chow mein -- both were perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The portions are generous too! The staff was really friendly and quick with service, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. You can tell they actually care about their food and customers. Definitely my new go-to for Chinese takeout in Norwalk. Highly recommend if you're craving good, classic Chinese food done right!

Happened to be at a conference in Downey this weekend and we im the mood for Chinese food. The service was pretty fast and very helpful. The interior is a little small. We had a big party and needed to put a few tables together. If it's a large party, might be best to order Togo just to have a little more space.

Food: delicious, at good temperature, and the meat and chicken are very tender. The veggie rolls are good as well. The rice is on the mushier side, but very good! Service: outstanding service from Winny! From the start she was very helpful as soon as I told her it was my first time visiting. We got seated quickly and after looking at the menu, we opted for the Mongolian beef and kung pao chciken, with veggie rice and veggie chow mein. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. I had ordered a coke and it was good at first, but after sipping half way through, it tasted like a cherry flavor. Kinda weird, but aside from the coke; everything else was great. I hope to try their orange chicken sometime. Ambiance: Winny is the best server I've had in a long time. I didn't expect much of the service at a Chinese restaurant, but I was pleasantly impressed. She was super fast paced handling the front of house and customers. Every customer seemed to leave pleased. My bf and I were surprised when she actually bagged our leftover food for us! We took home 4 plates because there WILL be food leftover if it's just 2 people eating. I feel like the plates can feed up to 4 normal eaters. 3 really hungry eaters for sure. Wow, I left impressed when I saw that the bill was only $64! This place was great: I'll definitely be back!! Thank you, Winny! And to the amazing fast working cooks! Thanks!

Wonderful and deliciously made won ton soup! Large quantity filled with chicken, shrimp and ham, plus plenty of wontons and veggies. It's a meal in itself. Great soup base too. The chow fun noodles were so well made and the plate was full of goodness. The spicy chicken wings were pretty good but not spicy enough. Still tasty and made fresh!! Restaurant is very clean and best with sufficient seating. Very fast and efficient service.

Good Chinese food. The sesame chicken is good. It's more like a sweet and sour chicken. But it's really good.

We ordered the following: Bulgolgi Fries Garlic Steak Noodle Egg Cheese corn Ranking in best to so-so, I'd have to say is the steamed egg. Yes, I was surprised too. I thought the Bulgolgi fries would be number one. Sadly it's not. If you mess up steamed egg, ima gonna say no to the rest of your menu. I would order two next time and just stick to that. The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that. I'm glad I finally tried this place, but I don't know if I would come back for anything on their menu. I would rather go next door or across the street.

That excitement slowly dwindled as the wait continued, I still waited about 10 mins after tables cleared up. The service was lack luster and immensely slow, I didn't get checked up on once throughout my meal, I was given one napkin even though there were two of us dining, and it took a very long time to finally get the check. As far as the food goes I will say the food was quite good. Though I do have some critics this may just be more or personal taste. The Roti & Curry (Yellow curry) was quite delicious but the Roti was very oily to where a bite felt like putting a teaspoon of oil in my mouth. The curry was a little too strong and sharp in flavor where it was confusing to know if I loved it or hated it. The Thai Tea was phenomenal probably one of the best I've had and I highly recommend it, super flavorful and perfect level of sweetness. The Drunken noodles were good but they were dry, I was expecting some drunk noodles not sober ones. Overall this is just your average Thai restaurant, the food wasn't bad, but the service was definitely the most frustrating part.
