It's my go to Pho place, it's a small place with a drive thru and highly recommended. The Beef Pho is awesome.. with the right amount of rice noodles, beef, green onions, bone beef broth and with a good helping of cilantro, basil, been sprouts and chilies that you can serve at your liking. They have Chicken and Shrimp Pho.. looks like a would be waffle house and they do sell waffles if you want but everyone that goes ..goes for the Pho..Good Customer Service, Good Teriyaki bowls, i got the Burger once and it was good..but its a Pho place.. plenty of Parking ..Clean...5 Stars..no complaints read more

True hidden gem! Reviews on this place are legit & worth trying. First time here, had regular spicy beef pho & mild spicy chicken pho & Vietnamese coffee for tmrw. Both had so much flavor. I couldn't finish my chix pho but hubby finished his. Portions are generous. Tried the chicken egg rolls (2 pc) that'll be a pass for me but I still rate the food 5 stars. Was there about 6pm. Saw 4 other patrons. Felt parking was tight so keep that in mind. This is a mom & pops hole in the wall and looks like it. The lady running the show was friendly & courteous, said they've been here 3 years. BIG PLUS, has a drive thru. 100% we'll be back! read more

Thai tea is so good but it's so weird that they charge you more if you ask of less ice or no ice at all.

The short version: Hole in the wall joint for which I had high hopes. Food was good, but overpriced and they charge $1 for using a credit card and there is no bathroom. On arrival, I discovered there was no parking. It is fairly clean inside, but small, and they just have a fan blowing on high, but it doesn't feel like the ac is working. The menu prices are higher than what is pictured on Google maps and they no longer include a free waffle which was part of the reason for wanting to check this place out (they covered up the part that said free waffle with vegetable, which already came with the dish). Interesting mix of acoutrements including blueberries.. Overall, it was okay, but I dont think it is worth it for what you get... read more

The reviews don't lie. Our first time here doing a to-go order. Got the chicken pho, spicy chicken pho, chicken egg rolls, Thai ice tea + Boba and matcha latte. The pho broth was flavorful. Me and the husband didn't need to add any spices. Servings are large. Everything was great. Be aware, dining area is small, parking is limited, so highly recommend the drive thru. While desperately looking for a pho restaurant, and we went to our usual place in Carson, I came across this little restaurant... yes when I say little I mean little.... However, I do not regret it, small place good food. It may not be like other restaurants with a wide variety of pho, but do not be discouraged, chicken, beef and shrimp pho, regular or spicy... straight to the point. Something unusual about this place is that they also serve WAFFLES! lol I did not try but I will be back to explore the rest of the menu. I love that this place has pho! I usually go to Long Beach for pho but found a place close to home. I ordered the pho and hubby ordered the waffle burger. This place is located on the corner of Garfield and a residential street, right next to a dollar discount store. Parking lot is small but the business does have a drive thru so that's a plus! It also has a couple of tables and chairs outside and one table inside and counter tables to dine inside the facility but it's small. Fortunately we went when it wasn't too busy. The pho was spicy but not too hot. The broth was yummy and so what the meat and noodles. I wanna say they serve only one type of pho... so there's no other selection. I like the beef ball pho but they only had the beef slices... all good though. We also ordered egg rolls, it looked like the Costco egg rolls that you can fry at home. Nothing spectacular. Babe ordered the waffle burger and seasoned fries. He said it was pretty good. The waffle didn't look homemade but it was still good. This place has lots of food. Their menu has so many selections from food to different flavor bobas. If Long Beach is too far for me to pho, this will be my go to place close to home (Maywood). read more

I had the spicy beef pho - it was good, not sure if they getting a 5 because I was shocked I was Bell Gardens. Downside which makes this a 4.5 = soup not as spicy as I thought it would be and jalapeños were not spicy either. There were two 1st generation Chinese guys on a lunch break also eating outside so...you already know local Asians showing this spot some love. Came to this place during my lunch break. I was feeling a little under the weather and even though it was 94 degrees outside I wanted a hot, hearty, soothing soup. I found this place by chance doing a quick yelp search. In the area I was searching, it was either this or Soup Shop. I chose this place and I'm glad I did it. I will say that at first glance, this restaurant was peculiar. I was expecting a mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. What I saw upon arriving was what looked like a burger shop - drive through and all. I almost had to do a double take, but saw the large "Pho" sign in front of the building. I pulled into the drive through and saw their extensive menu consisting of pho of different types, spicy noodle soup, burgers, waffles, boba, milkshakes, chicken tenders. I'm not sure there was anything that wasn't on the menu. Seeing the assortment of various menu items, I was a little bit dubious. But I was there already and did not feel like going somewhere else. I ordered and was told the order would take 10 minutes. I elected to just come inside and eat there. The inside was a small room reminiscent of an old burger shop. You could however spot small differences in decor compared to what you would typically expect in your local burger and fries joint. There were a couple Vietnamese magazines and small asian accoutrements on the counter. Again, dubious but amused. The pho came after a short wait and I was floored by the size of the package. The portion of the pho was large and each individual item was packaged meticulously with care. The noodles were held separate and the item came with your normal pho additives like cilantro, basil, lemon. The one added item I did not expect was a chili oil. I immediately tasted the broth and was floored. The broth exceeded many of the pho broths I had tasted in the past. It was rich, beefy, hot, and flavorful. I added the noodles and had a bite of that. The noodles were chewy and the perfect texture. Then, the creme' de la resistance' was added: the chili oil. The chili oil was fragrant and actually spicy without compromising on flavor. I actually did not even add any Hoisin or Sraracha which I always add to every pho I eat. I wish I took pictures to commemorate the occasion, but I was so hungry that I could not wait to devour the entire meal. And even in my peaked appetite, it took me much longer to consume the pho than what a typical pho would normally take me (due the large portion size). The owner and cook came out and asked me if I was Korean which I took as a gesture of goodwill towards me. There are certainly not many Asians in the area and the look of familiarity he gave me was almost as comforting as the Pho. I had a great experience from the food, to the service, to the uniqueness of the experience. I would 100% come back again. read more

Amazingly great service & nicely decorated restaurant they have here. We tried the 'Chicken & Steak Plate' as well as 'Chicken Dumplings' and 'Veggie Egg rolls' which were all delicious. Given that I have a low spice tolerance, the sauce we were given not only gave a good hint of spice but also an extra flavorful for our food!
