This spot looked rather hidden from outside. It seats in a little corner plaza and the windows are rather tinted so its hard to tell how busy is it inside. As you walk in, the staff welcomes you with a "Irasshaimase". They have a few tables and a sushi bar area. The place is cozy. Great to eat with friends, for a date, solo or with family. The menu is extensive! We ended up getting a bento with beef and California rolls and a regular dragon roll. We shared our food so just that was perfect for two. Their green tea was delicious! Even though I had it for dinner, I was still able to sleep really well. I always worry about the caffeine affecting my sleep. Overall, I recommend this spot. Always enjoy going to Kyoto, but especially this location. Our entire family came to celebrate a birthday and it's great that this location has long tables to accommodate around 11 people. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. It wasn't a busy night when we went , so our orders came out quite quickly. Service is always good, we have not had a bad experience with any of the staff. Place is cozy, but has enough tables to not wait forever. Seating is not bad if you avoid Dinner rush. A bit pricey, but it's important to me to support our local businesses. The eight-piece French Kiss roll has spicy tuna and eel tempura on the outside, crab mix and fried shrimp on the inside, and eel sauce and spicy mayo for heightened taste. A jewel hidden in Downey. The little restaurant just feels very authentic in Japanese cuisine. There the sushi rolls are really great and fresh. It is made to order and you can even order to go. The service did take its time because of the preparation of the rolls and tempura we ordered. But overall, very quick to take our order and within 20 minutes it was ready. The dodger game was on so expect the dodger games to be live when eating at this establishment. Overall I really recommend this place.
