Pleasantly surprised. I tried a few simple items for lunch on my break just to see what it was like. I got the sushi roll & hand roll combo - stinky roll and spicy tuna hand roll. Both were well made and tasty. Tuna did seem a bit more fresh than the albacore on the stinky roll, but I will be back sooner than later to try other menu items. Always wanted to try the sushi here & it did not disappointment. Has a good variety of rolls & tastes fresh - price doesn't hurt the wallet too much too for sushi. Store seems clean & friendly service. The only roll we didn't like was the stinky roll - unsure what the topping or sauce was but not a fan personally (so maybe beware if you're trying something new). Loved all the other rolls we got though & can't ding them because I think we weren't used to the topping on that one roll. Will be back :) read more

Ordered ahead on the phone and it was estimated to take 1 hour; however, it was ready even sooner as I got the text notification for pickup in about 30 mins. When I got there, the place is a bit small and in a non-busy plaza but don't let that deter you as the place itself was clean and service was great. I was in a bind because another place I went to cancelled my order so I called this place around 3:30 on Christmas Eve to see if they could still make a platter. I was greeted on the phone by a nice woman on the phone who told me they closed at 5 and took my order right away with no hesitation. I believe I ordered the tray mix 2. It came with 70 pieces: 4 rolls and the rest an assortment of sushi. I'm so sad I did not get to take a picture of it, since everyone started eating right away. We did have to leave it in the fridge for about an hour until our gathering started so it was not 100% fresh. Over all my family and I enjoyed the food and will definitely be returning to try some new items. Only gave a 4 right now since I wasn't able to eat it right away. There are so many rolls to try, and I want to try more the next time I'm in the area. I was hungry, so I got the Chicken Kaarage bowl with crispy chicken and spicy mayo on top of rice. This was so good, but I wish it had been prefaced on the menu. There was spicy mayo on top drizzled. I enjoyed the crispy chicken, and was satisfying to the taste buds. Next, I got the White Alaska Roll with salmon on the outside and crabmeat/avocado inside. It tasted refreshing and is better than some sit-down spots in Long Beach, haha. Sushi n go is truly a hole in the wall spot! All the rolls here are around $10 which is really affordable. Honestly, my expectations for the sushi here weren't super high given how affordable it is, but it was actually really good. I ordered the spicy rainbow roll, baked salmon roll, and crunch roll and really enjoyed them all (with the baked salmon roll being my favorite). The rolls themselves are big and I didn't feel like they skimped out on fish. I'm definitely interested in trying more from the menu in the future. The store here is on the smaller end, however, there are a few seats available if you wanted to dine in. It did seem like everyone who came took their orders to go though. Happy to find sushi n go in Norwalk! Plenty of parking shared with other businesses. They are located right next to 7 eleven. I frequented their previous location in Torrance inside S mart. We love the hand roll options here, no fuss or frills just straight up good sushi. The owners are very friendly and kind. Packaging up your to go order quickly with the needed chopsticks and soy sauce and napkins everyone needs. I believe the husband is in the back prepping all your food. We tried dining in one time and that experience was just ok. Everything was still served in to go containers so I think my brain is set on this place being a carry out or to go only option for us. Although I don't know how I feel about the karaage roll, this was just a roll with karaage pieces on top of the rolls and a bit of sauce to 'tie it together'. UPDATE (01/2024): My husband and I ordered two of our usuals today--the baked salmon roll and the stinky roll--and were met with some disappointment. The quality of the rolls has gone downhill. Visually and taste-wise, they were different and not in a good way. Someone mentioned here on Yelp that they recently changed management, and it shows in their food. * Baked salmon roll - It's usually moist and baked with a nice layer of sauce. Salmon is typically pretty thick too, like 1 cm. Today, it was dry and they really skimped on the salmon. Each slice of salmon was super thin that it might as well have been a baked CA roll...no thanks. I was super disappointed with this tonight. * Stinky roll - When I first opened this up, I noticed that it looked different. The roll seemed more disorganized and there looked to be fewer pieces of fish. Husband had this one and said it tasted cheaper in quality overall. For the price, we may still get it occasionally if we are really craving cheap sushi, but the now lower quality and taste in their sushi may no longer justify buying it here as often. read more

There was too much rice, rice overwhelmed both rolls. I loved this place in S Mart but I don't think it's worth the drive. The prices are reasonable but not as reasonable as previously which is understandable. The service was friendly and the rolls came out quickly. I wish they were as good as I remembered them to be. Twice we have ordered their 12 roll tray for parties and would not hesitate to order from them again. Yesterday we ordered the 6 roll tray (4 people) for New Years Eve. It was ready on time time and everything was delicious. The one thing you must remember when you come to pick up your order is that they do not take cards as payment.
