Teriyaki chicken plate with double meat
    Irene B.

This place is value central. I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate with double meat and it was about $12-13. This easily lasted two complete meals. They are so generous with the meats :) The salad on the side complemented the meal well as it added a light crunch to the meaty, saucy goodness. The rice was good as well-- chewy and not dry at all. This place is perfect for a quick lunch bite between work hours, their service is efficient and great, and parking is not an issue. They posted a sign up saying they will have to increase prices soon because the cost of food is increasing a lot too. Understandable and I am willing to continue supporting this small family business.

I ordered the Red Dragon sushi roll and I found 2 hair on the rice. When I called, the person I spoke to kept denying the fact that there is hair on my roll. She was so rude and disrespectful. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience she insisted to pick fights with me. I asked for her name and she refused to provide me her name. Dont order from here. It is unsanitary. Makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Roll was NOT fresh. Tasted so disgusting. This was also not on a hot day & the food was just served a few min prior to taking this photo.

This place is not good for sushi rolls. Ordered the Alaska roll and the roll was stuffed with too much crab meat and little cucumber. The disproportion wasn't the main issue. The salmon was NOT fresh. I thought it looked funky to begin with but I was hungry and gotta eat quickly. It tasted like feet or vomit. Barely took a small bite of it and it tasted so disgusting. Avocado..rice.. were also not fresh. They tried to cover it up with sauce and sesame seeds too...unbelievable. You can also see the texture of the salmon looking funky. This was not on a hot day and the food was just served a few minutes prior to taking this photo. Went back in for a refund immediately.

It's good for take out as a quick lunch if you're in the area and need some food. I had the chicken teriyaki bento box. It came with soup, salad, rice, 4 pc california roll, and 4 pc tempura (shrimp, broccoli, sweet potato, and some other vegetable). At $9.75 it was a lot of food and ended up being lunch and dinner for me. There are better options for sushi and tempura but the teriyaki was great.

My favorite go-to lunch spot on Friday's when I work my part time job. The owners are sweet and lovely. The food is great.

Making a reservation through OpenTable was quick and easy, which set the tone for a smooth evening from the start. When we arrived, we were welcomed by warm, moody lighting and a friendly host who seated us right away. Our server, Rashad, introduced himself and helped us choose drinks based on our preferences, which we really appreciated. We started with the carpaccio platter and the black crispy rice--both were excellent and definitely worth ordering. We also shared three signature rolls, and every one of them was delicious. Throughout the evening, Rashad was attentive and personable, making thoughtful recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed. The entire staff contributed to the experience--everyone who delivered our dishes was friendly, and a special shoutout to the busser who promptly cleared empty plates so our table never felt crowded. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. You can truly tell the staff works as a team to create a memorable experience for their guests. I highly recommend it for a special dinner date with friends or your significant other.

We love sharing the family special: A-teriyaki beef & chicken, with miso soup and shared salad and scoops of rice and fresh orange slices and pineapple for dessert. Now there is NOTHING fancy about this place but it's unapologetically original. My mom has dementia but when we took her recently, she instantly knew where we were and remembered the name. It's that special to us. Good food and good service.

We ordered a Short Rib Appetizer that was good and a family platter that consisted of Teriyaki Chicken & Beef, Salad, Tempura Shrimp & Veggies, Pineapple & Rice which was all delicious! Both of our drinks tasted great and were refreshing. The Iced Green Tea also had free refills, which was nice. Next we ordered some appetizers; the Spicy Garlic Edamame (our usual) and the King Crab Bites (to try something new). The Spicy Garlic Edamame was tasty as usual and had a nice kick. My husband wasn't a fan of the King Crab Bites because he thought they could've used more flavor and the texture was off. Lastly, we ordered our entrees; I tried something new and ordered the Pork Curry Katsu while my husband had the Pork Cutlet Ramen (mild spice level). The Pork Curry Katsu was delicious, complex, and full of flavor. The pork katsu was crispy and cooked to perfection, which complemented the curry and rice. My husband enjoyed his Pork Cutlet Ramen as well. His only issue was that it could've used a bit more salt. It is pricey here, but they do give generous entree portions. We were very full and had some leftovers to take home for later. We had a few different servers, and they were all polite and helpful. Our food was brought out quickly, which was also great. The only issue is that the service was a bit spotty and we weren't checked on very often to see if we needed anything (for example, I didn't get any refills). It wasn't too busy either, so I'm not sure why this was the case. The interior was clean and had a casual, slightly lively atmosphere. They have blend of modern and traditional Japanese decor, which gives off a comfy/modern dining experience. There's a decent amount of seating, and you have the option of sitting at the bar or a table. Both options put you in close proximity to other diners, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. They also had different mix of music genres playing in the background. Overall we had a decent experience and plan on stopping by again soon!
