Great food and great staff! Got the chicken teriyaki...kids menu but still good portion

This is probably my favorite spot for pho. Pho is delicious and prices are reasonable. Love that they're one of the restaurants that give you cilantro as a side for your pho instead of basil like other places. They have a great sushi selection and from the few I've tried they're great. But if pho or sushi isn't for you they also have a lot of other great options for appetizers and main courses like bento boxes, udon noodles, teriyaki, and other authentic Asian dishes. Their pho lunch special with your choice of pho and their spicy tuna roll is my personal fav along with their green tea raspberry drink. Employees are always nice and professional from my experience, I've been going here for years and I've never had a problem with the service provided. The restaurant recently had a revamp so it looks very nice and clean inside. read more

Whoa such a delicious spot. We went on Friday evening it was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table or our food. We got our food pretty fast. Everything tasted amazing! My favorite was the Salmon cilantro 10/10. Literately Everything single roll tasted so fresh and just delicious that I even forgot to take pictures. Highly recommend this spot. read more

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The interior is very dirty, there are stains all over the walls and I didn't feel comfortable sitting in to eat. Furthermore, this restaurant is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans who are looking to eat pho, there is not vegetarian broth, only beef broth. As for the sushi, my friend ordered the Rainbow Roll and immediately upon receiving it, we knew it was not fresh fish. The fish looked sad and disappointing, worse than the sushi you'd see at your local grocery store. It didn't taste horrible, but it definitely didn't taste like $19.88 sushi (crazy). Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere. read more

Our first time trying this place. The restaurant is a very big restaurant. They have lunch specials, if you are not a humongous eater it is a great portion. The pho tasted really good. I had the pork vermicelli bowl, the pork was different, they are very thinly sliced, it also came with beansprouts and iceberg lettuce. The sauce with it was really good! This place was so good! I went with my friends the other night and it was all of our first time there. We ordered an assortment of food from the menu. All of which tasted GOOD. The Pho was comforting, the sushi was fresh (we loved the Morning Roll). There were vegan options for my friends too. The service was quick and helpful. We didn't have any issues. We also were seated quickly as well and it was a Friday night. It's pretty cute inside with a fair amount of seating. The only thing we didn't get to try were the boba drinks they also offer. I love coming here for their lunch time combos. The pho with sushi is the perfect pairing. This time I wanted to come to enjoy the food but also to take pictures of the updated menu! I have been coming here for years. Whenever I visit downtown Whittier, I always have to stop by here. Their House Special Pho with the added spicy option is my favorite. They do not hold back on the spice and it doesn't need any further adjustment. The regular size is very filling and I always leave here satisfied. The waiters are sometimes a bit inattentive but they are great the majority of the time. Love coming here! read more

Placed a to go order and food was ready within 10 minutes. Friendly service and restaurant was very clean and semi busy since it was lunch hour. I got the vermicelli bowl with chicken and egg rolls. It was very good and filling. I algo got the pho house special with 8 piece crunch roll. The pho broth was very tasty and the perfect comfort food. Was nicely seated down, but wasn't giving menus for my mom & nephew this never happened to us we were surprised and actually sad. Maybe because we didn't dress decent for once since we came from Laundromat. Usually I'll see usual workers that see me & always service me and my countless friends I'll always bring in. Yet I went late workers I seen were all different sadly. This is my main go-to Pho place to eat at. The broth is excellent. The brisket is good. The large is LARGE. If we get a large Pho and a roll, I'm stuffed. I haven't had a bad roll from here yet and we've been coming here for years. Depending on what time you go, this place can be pretty dead. Faster service Sometimes it takes us a while to get the check, but usually I'm in a food coma so I can wait a bit. Overall, from my experience, Pho and Roll has been great. read more

Becoming a regular here! Located in uptown Whittier, they are a pretty big place. Open kitchen where you can see them prepare the sushi. Service is fast and friendly, we usually get the special pho with a crunch roll. Parking is on the back streets and side lots sick's the main streets are blocked off do to patio seating. But they have a back door you enter instead of walking around the block. Always good service and food is delicious, we come back often. read more

Everything good up until paying this asian lady who was our waitress while paying she asked me to sign reciept and leave $10-15 tip. Which confused me so much i asked her is it mandatory ? She said no but i served you and your children so i need tip. VERY RUDE , i put $1 and she still got mad because i told her tips are not always promised. WILL NEVER COME BACK. Great place for late lunch as the lunch special is served till 5pm! The 2 Rolls Lunch Special was a good deal, 2 special rolls/ 10 pcs for $21, they also offer a daily beer special. The good - an Asian Sushi place in uptown Whittier & friendly servers. The cold Asahi with frosted mugs were good. The bad - the Dolsot Bibimbap is not even as good as those at fast casual Korean places. The Spring rolls were ok. The ugly - The Pork & Egg Roll Vermicelli was terrible. The Spring Rolls in the sampler appetizer was watery and rolled loosely. The Goyza was too dry. Advice to owners, stick to sushi or Korean but don't give Vietnamese food a bad name. read more

Last night was my second time there and let me tell you I was surprised by the way we were treated. The lady that usually takes the offers was not in a good mood and I asked. Question about the pho and she made a face and cut me short and left us and went to do something else and never came to us and came around the table by us and took their orders and never acknowledged us. The man that also usually takes orders I tried to stop him and he just said wait and kept going very unprofessional and I didn't want to give them my business and I just walked about it was 4 of us and we got that treatment wow it's not our fault she was having a bad day!!! Even a lady that was sitting by herself next to us said that she didn't seem so friendly when she took her order so that just shows that she was being rude to others too.
