Amazing quality at low prices. The Seared Salmon Belly is awesome. Every sushi place should be as good as this. I understand that the chef is originally from a Michelin rated restaurant. Pretty incredible that I can get 3 handrolls for $15-17. These rolls are much better than Katsunori. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but I couldn't ignore the glaring red flags. When I got there on a weekday around 6pm, it was a completely empty bar tucked away behind the many tables at the casino. I assume the ambiance is better later at night because there were bright lights shining down on the bar top. The servers were great, although they looked pretty bored they were able to get my food and check quickly. I ordered the full set and received my first plate. To my dismay, plate after plate, the fish came out icy cold. It could've tasted fresh had it not felt like it was in a freezer minutes before I was served. I have to point out the sweet shrimp... it fell apart into 3 separate strings when I tried to eat it. That ruined my appetite unfortunately. Overall, if you enjoy eating sushi from the Arctic, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd advise steering clear. read more

this place is the hand rolls were fresh, and DELICIOUS! hard to decide my fav but I think I'd have to say the sea bream bc that homemade yuzu sauce was amazing! I was little hesitant tbh at first bc it's in a casino, but don't let that hold you back! Daniela was my server and she was awesome! super polite, very knowledgeable, and helped me decide what to order..she did not disappoint..GIVE THAT GIRL A RAISE!! for real I will def be back! read more

This place always caught my eye with their ads on the 710 freeway and I finally decided to give it a try. My boyfriend and I got 6 hand rolls and their full set to share. It was pretty tasty and was quite affordable. I wish they had more space since the only seating is a bar type situation. It was a hidden gem but for the area and it definitely hit the spot for my handroll craving I had. read more

Would've never thought I would love sushi from a casino. I ordered takeout and the presentation was amazing. The fish quality was decent too no stink. read more

Unassuming, especially inside the Parkwest Bicycle Casino. The casino itself is very well kept. Doesn't smell of cigarettes or anything dingy in the carpet or air. I really appreciated this because I'm sensitive to smell. I saw Sora Sushi on an IG reel and had to come see for myself. The sushi and vibes were all good! Just like that reel portray. There's no table seating, just bar seating for now until they open their actual sit down restaurant in the casino. The servers were all so friendly and welcoming making sure everything went well. Sushi was fresh and we washed it down with Sapporo. The owners son even came out and did some magic tricks for us! Dinner & a show! Highly recommend this spot, especially if you're in the area. Tons of parking and all around a great place to visit :) read more

Had a late night craving one night and nothing was open except Sora Sushi. When we got here I was a bit apprehensive since it's inside a casino but it was this or figure out a different craving. So glad we gave it a shot! The hand rolls are affordable and packed with fresh fish that is very flavorful. The casino is usually pretty quiet with some good tunes by the sushi bar, so it's pretty laid back. The staff is always friendly, quick to serve and offer suggestions if needed. Bobbie has served us more than once and is always in a great mood. read more

I found a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was phenomenal. Destiny deserves a special shout-out; she was serving everyone with a smile and asking if they needed anything else. Just a heads-up, the bar was full, and she was making sure everyone was happy read more

I never thought I would try sushi in a casino! Would I come back again? Probably not. Full Set: ‣ Edamame ‣ Salmon carpaccio ‣ Yellowtail, albacore, tuna, scallop, amberjack, sea bread, sweet shrimp, black cod sushi 3-Cut Roll Set: ‣ Spicy tuna, bay scallop, spicy albacore 6-Hand Roll Set: ‣ Yellowtail, tuna, salmon, shrimp, sea bream, freshwater eel Overall, the quality of fish seemed very average. Even the seaweed seemed like something I could buy from the grocery store. The nigiri was alright, but nothing extraordinarily special. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating! read more

Popular DTLA Sushi Chef Chris Suh has found a new sushi project inside the Bicycle Club Casino with Sora Omakase in the city of Bell Gardens, CA. This is great news for Bicycle Club Casino players and people who are near the casino to access high quality sushi without traveling to DTLA. Keep in mind, the sophistication to the menu is elevated and it does not include creative rolls such as your Dragon or Volcano Rolls. The menu simply includes high quality nigiri, handroll, sashimi and cut rolls of just really fresh fish and delicious seasoned rice. When the fish is this fresh, soy sauce isn't even needed. SORA FULL SET: Highly Recommend - Edamame - Ocean Trout Sashimi (ponzu and chives) (4pc) - Yellowtail Sushi (serrano chili, yuzu kosho, ponzu) (2pc) - Albacore Sushi (ponzu and fried onions) (2pc) - Tuna Sushi (ginger scallion puree) (1pc) - JPN Sweet Shrimp Sushi (dashi soy) (1pc) - Scallop Sushi (yuzu kosho lemon and salt) (1pc) - Seabream Sushi (yuzu kosho and yuzu juice) (1pc) - Amberjack Sushi roasted shishito peppers (1pc) - Black Cod Sushi (den miso) (1pc) - Fish Cut Roll (4pc) - Lobster Cut Roll (4pc) Cost: $45 If you can't make? Sora sushi is a brand new sushi spot inside Bicycle Casino! Perfect spot for a quick bite. They have a simple menu with hand rolls, sashimi, nigiri and select appetizers. We ordered the hand roll sets, full set and the seared salmon belly. The full set includes: Edamame Ocean Trout Sashimi Yellowtail, Albacore, Tuna , JPN Sweet Shrimp, Scallop, Seabream, Amberjack and Black Cod Sushi Fish Cut Roll (chef's choice) Lobster Cut Roll My favorite sushi of the night was the seared salmon belly and black cod. The flavors melted in my mouth! 10/10 recommend. The hand rolls come out one at a time so that the seaweed doesn't soften. They have alcohol at the bar including sake and a matcha IPA! They took over a previous bar so seating is limited. read more

The 4.9 review must have been from family. The food was subpar. Box was nice. But the contents inside were mediocre at best. And the wait for this restaurant was so long just receive the order. Also note the restaurant is inside a casino. FYI. read more

Didn't expect much because I never encountered good food in casino but it turned out that this sushi bar has much better sushi than many serious sushi restaurants in LA and OC. The price is super affordable that you could stay around $30 per person if ordering the hand rolls or cut rolls combo. The best thing was the freshness of the seaweed. This crispiness is on similar level to what they do in omakase courses (generally sushi restaurants in America doesn't pay attention to this!). I was really happy with the quality and the pricing! Totally recommend! Parking is free in the casion self-park lot. read more

The setup is a bit awkward no tables just a bar with stools and the signage is hidden. The fish is fresh and great price we ordered yellowtail sashi and crunch roll wow! We were surprised to find this spot that serves up handrolls, nigiri, and sashimi at their sushi bar when we were at the Bicycle Casino. We tried a couple of sets while chilling with some sake and beer people watching. The staff were so nice helping us choose and brought out our food pretty quickly. FULL SET ($45) Edamame Ocean Trout Sashim Yellowtail Sushi Albacore Sushi Tuna Sushi JPN Sweet Shrimp Sushi Scallop Sushi Seabream Sushi Amberjack Sushi roasted shishito peppers Black Cod Sushi Fish Cut Roll Lobster Cut Roll HANDROLL SET (6 for $30) Lobster, Freshwater Eel, Blue Crab, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp We were actually super impressed by what a great deal this all was. You get so many great cuts of fish in these sets and the quality is top notch. This style is more close to the style in Japan too, focusing on the purity of the fish as opposed to the creative saucy rolls we have over here. We'd definitely go back for more! Shout out to how pristine clean and smoke free this casino is too. read more

Krystal, Bobby, and Roger displayed fantastic service during our stay here. They made sure to check up on us to see if the food tasted good and it was amazing. Definitely recommend coming here. As soon as I heard about Sora's grand opening, I knew I had to check it out, and I'm so glad I did because I've actually already been back two more times since then. I'm a huge fan of sushi, so I was excited to see that Sora serves hand rolls, cut rolls, nigiri sushi, sashimi, and sets. Across the times I've been here, I've tried quite a few of their menu items, and have been surprised by how fresh and delicious everything is here! Amazing quality, and also great value. The Full Set was only $45, and includes: Edamame, Salmon Sashimi (4 pc), Yellowtail Sushi (2 pc), Albacore Sushi (2 pc), Tuna Sushi (1 pc), Scallop Sushi (1 pc), Amberjack Sushi (1 pc), Jpn Sweet Shrimp Sushi (1 pc), Black Cod Sushi (1 pc), Fish Cut Roll (4 pc), and Lobster Cut Roll (4 pc). So this is a great option if you want to try a lot of different items. I've ordered this twice. Aside from the full set and 3 cut roll set which I also really love, my favorites are the Seared Black Cod nigiri sushi, and the tuna nigiri sushi. All three times I've been here, I've eaten at the sushi bar, but I see lots of people picking up their orders as takeout, and I heard you can also order and have it delivered to your table. Definitely exceeded my expectations and I look forward to continuing to eat here! read more

This is a fairly new Sushi bar located in the bicycle casino. You literally sit at the bar, there are no tables. I ordered the 6 handrolls which they make fresh for you. The service was good which is why the 3 star. Our waitress was nice and attentive. However for quality of fish, it was just ok. The rice didn't seem like the normal sushi rice. Also rice to fish ratio was off. The rolls had way too much rice in it. The seaweed quality also seemed just ok, nothing spectacular. For 6 handrolls, it was $30. You get the choose which type of fish, extra $1 for lobster and $2 for blue crab. read more
