This is a small, family spot. One of those hidden places that's amazing. Food is always fresh and good. Service is always good and everything there is so nice. We always come here and know what to expect and it's always amazing. If there's ever a mistake, I know they will fix it right away without hesitating but there's never a problem for us. Highly recommend coming here. Drunken noodle is always my go to. Seafood pancake is good as well ! If you love tom kha (coconut soup) but you want noodles, get the sizzling wok noodles. I think it's underrated here! Boat noodle is always good too !

Dissapointed.and looks so dry and the serving 4pcs of small dried pork.

I was really looking forward to this meal, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The meat seemed dry, and the serving size was quite small with too much rice. I expected better quality and a more balanced portion.

Our go to thai spot on the north side of LB! Complimentary to the chef at this little gem. The flavors are authentic and you can definitely taste the fresh hot off the wok taste and smell. My favorite go to for noodle soup is their spicy tom yum noodle soup (spicy noodle)I always order this at other thai restaurants but they do not make it like this place. Hands down the best thus far! Everything else here is delicious. Give them a try! You won't regret. It's a small casual sit down and dine spot. Service is friendly. Also, ask for the comp sweet tea, it's super refreshing.

Went there for a second time, maybe the place updated and upgraded..... to my surprise, but not so much.... It was still the same... ordered seafood noodle soup with extra offerings on my Musselshell n poop that was still left in the shrimp.... Service was mid, nothing to get excited about....

This place is HEAVEN sent. A hidden treasure in a secret cave. I have been living around my whole life and never discovered this place till one day we decided to try it and oh my God, who has been hiding this secret to satisfy my taste buds all this time?! I crave this place often, it's lowkey a bit of a problem. The staff feels very family oriented and tight knit which in turn feels like I am going to someone's house to enjoy a nice bowl of soup. I have gone here for my birthday as a little lunch treat for myself and my only complaint is that I crave it sometimes on Sundays and then realize they aren't open! The atmosphere and everything is great though, parking is always easy and I always get seated immediately and my food comes quick. Everything feels and tastes like it's made with love. It is cash only but they have options to zelle/venmo if needed. This spot is my secret thai oasis

The second of the 2 hairs found. The first one was thrown away because things happen but after finding this one, it was unacceptable.

If you want hair in your food come here. Ordered $128 worth of food to have not just 1, but 2 hairs in 2 separate entrees!!! Owner had the audacity to only refund us half the price of both the dishes ($17). Would've been happy with refunding the total cost of the 2 entrees with the hair in them. All the proof has been posted. We're not trying to scam the owner for a free meal. Picture of all the food returned to the store, receipt of how much they gave us back, proof of how much money given back, and hair. Only have one picture of the hair, cause we were going to let the first hair slide and threw it away, because things happen. But 2 hairs in 2 separate entrees is unacceptable. I barely ever write reviews but this place had me livid with the way they handled this situation.

Every dish we've tried has been full of flavor and genuinely worth ordering. Surprisingly, compared to other Thai spots, it's usually not overly packed and honestly I'm almost scared to say that because I don't want it to change. The service has always been great, the food comes out quickly, and the portions/prices feel reasonable. So far, our favorites have been the pad see ew, tom yum soup (medium spice), egg fried rice, fried calamari and the beef BBQ which was so good we immediately ordered a second plate. The mango sticky rice is also really good, but the portion is on the smaller side, so we ended up getting two orders since one plate is hard to share with more than 2-3 people. Parking has been easy for us so far since there's both a parking lot and nearby street parking. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants that's officially in our regular rotation.

KIN Thai Cuisine in Long Beach off Broadway is a really solid spot…read more Parking is available, but it is limited, so just keep that in mind depending on the time you go. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, including the restrooms, which I always appreciate. The staff was very customer service oriented and did a great job making suggestions and giving tips about the menu and spice levels, which was super helpful. I started with the Money Bags, which are basically fried dumplings. Mine were a little overcooked, almost close to burnt. They still had decent flavor, but I'd personally rate them about a 2.9 out of 5. I also had the green papaya salad with mild spice, and the spice level was perfect, especially for people who are sensitive to heat. I usually stick around medium spice at Thai restaurants, but even the mild here still gives you a nice kick. For my drink, I got the Thai tea, which came topped with a Thai tea popsicle that slowly melted into the drink. Such a cute touch, creative, and tasty. For my entrée, I had the basil garlic sauce with sliced steak and a side of rice, which I really enjoyed. For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice. It was good, but I do feel like it was a little overpriced for the portion size. Maybe part of that is because of the specialty rice they use that has the purple hue. I know a few places in Long Beach where you can get more for the same price. That said, the presentation was really cute with the flower garnish and everything looked beautiful. The atmosphere was nice. It has an open kitchen concept, so you can actually see the cooking happening, which adds to the experience. Seating is somewhat limited and the tables are fairly close together in certain sections, especially where the divider walls are, so you can definitely hear nearby conversations depending on where you sit. Great food, clean restaurant, and strong customer service. I'd definitely come back. Flavor Profile (for reference): Umami-forward (savory, salty depth) Acidic or bright (tangy + sour) Pungent and intense (spicy and bitter notes) Drink Preference (for reference): Bitter-forward cocktails Balanced acidity Light sweetness only, not overly sugary

The soup seems very clean and rich with flavor. I would prefer to have some sort of pickled serrano peppers though to give it a citrus and spicy taste to balance out the savory soup. We also got some fried donuts which paired well with the soup. Very quick service and the food came out quick. Definitely a mom and pop shop but with a good amount of indoor seating as well.

I didn't know where the entrance was walking around the block which found out later that the entrance was where parking is. I believe you could get on the waitlist but it was still early during lunch time when we arrived that it wasn't necessary. The restaurant itself isn't that big. A good amount of Asian modern style seating. Menu is pretty limited but gets down to the punch. Ramen, a couple of rice dishes and starters. Basically it. They had some alcoholic drink options too. We started off with some beers, the crispy chicken which was really nice. Thick chunks of thighs lightly deep fried and served with a dipping sauce. Juicy and tender. Entrees, the tonkatsu which you could make into a combo that comes with a side salad, and with salmon poke bowl or spicy tuna bowl for an additional fee. The broth for the ramen was quite tasty and paired really well with everything that added to it. And very filling. Also had the pork rice bowl with pork chashu, green onions, poached egg, spinach on top of rice. That was quite tasty and filling as well. There's a small and large option. Lastly the vegan ramen with sesame miso broth, broccolini, corn, bean sprouts, soy meat, tofu, baby kale with chili oil. Food was quite tasty and very filling. Service was great with friendly staff. We ordered via third party app because the preparation of the poke sounded intriguing and different. The food came in cute packaging. When we opened the containers, in my opinion there was too much rice/quinoa to fish portion. I did enjoy the taste of the poke. It had bits of sour notes from the apple dressing, which is different from what you normally order with poke. The avocado balances out the sourness. And the poke surprisingly pairs well with quinoa. The pork buns were really delicious! It has that umami taste you look for when eating pork. The meat was very tender - easy to bite and chew. The bun was nice and soft - had good texture. And the onions that came on it was good. You don't get that oniony, bitter taste that lingers in your mouth. Overall, I enjoyed the food. Poke was good but idk if I'd order it again because the rice-fish portions are off. But I definitely need to try the ramen cos I know that's what they're known for.
