Pho here is actually pretty good for being in Long Beach. I ordered this to go since it was near closing when I arrived at the restaurant. The portion is very big. The pho broth was really flavorful and spice forward. They also had generous amounts of meat and tendon for the dac biet. The spring rolls were pretty average so I would not get that again. I was looking for something close for take out but was tired of the usual Lakewood mall selection when I finally decide to look up this place. I'm vegetarian and I had a nice fresh healthy dinner with lemongrass vermicelli with tofu and tofu spring rolls. I suppose it's kind of hard to mess up tofu but my food was good and had noodle dish had good flavor, but I added some sambal olek when I got home. I can't speak for other things on their wide menu but if you want some Vietnamese, seafood, pho, or vegan/vegetarian I think it's worth trying especially if you're in the local area. read more

The server was really sweet and attentive, and I've eaten here before under the old management, so I didn't realize it had changed ownership because the decor is still mostly the same. I did notice the restaurant seemed a lot more cluttered and less clean than before -- random items in corners, painter's tape with handwritten labels on bottles and containers, etc. The server did a great job and was very pleasant, but unfortunately the food was not good at all this time around. read more

Been here plenty of times. Usually I get the vermicelli bowl and love it. Their pho has always just been so so. I got their chicken pho the other day and it was nothing like before... I really hate to use the word horrible, but it was hardly edible. Super duper salty and a really off flavor. Broth soaked into the noodle and meat, making it bad as well. Then the chicken was super dry and hard to chew. They barely gave any toppings (see pics). Overall such a loss this time! We were shocked they would service such a poor quality dish. Makes us not want to go back here, unfortunately. It was just a bit uncomfortable to say anything as you could tell my the workers demeanor it didn't feel it would've been welcome. read more

All around good experience. Food was great. Spring rolls were okay but the chow fun was great, really filling. Passion fruit was something new. Tajin (i think) was an interesting twist. Food took a minute but came out hot. Every part of every dish was fresh and it was obviously made to order. Vegetables were crunchy, noodles were tasty everything was steaming. The store was calm. I think it was kpop or something. Still good energy. Generally didn't expect everything to be this good. Very good option for Asian food. read more

I got two thin sliced carrots, two small broccolli, onions and a couple of bok choy, and two shrimp, yes, only two!! Looks nothing like the photo on the menu. It was terrible. It looks like they scooped out a small serving from a plastic bin where it was already made, and just reheated it. It was not fresh at all, overcook vegetables and hardly any seafood. Quick service! Ordered a shrimp boil, pho and chicken wings. It's in the plaza across from BMO bank.

The good: I tried the pho noodle soup with 2 types of meat, seafood chow fun and bun thit nuong (grilled pork). Their menu offers so many options including Cajun seafood. The interior has a seafood/fishing theme with nets, fake crabs and lobsters. The bad: My husband said his bun thit nuong dish had half the meat he expected. The seafood chow fun was slightly mild in flavor. It lacked that wok aroma and char. It was dark inside. I'm unsure why they didn't turn the lights on. The interesting: You get free egg rolls if you write a review on Google. They don't have outdoor seating but this is common for Vietnamese restaurants. read more

2026 Review. 01.18.2026 2nd time here. I gave it a 5 star in 2025, today it lost 1 star.. Still my favorite Pho restaurant in the city of Lakewood. This time around ordered Pho with Ribs, Rice and Egg rolls. Nothing short on the taste and flavor. All very good! Taste is fresh. The only complaint I have for this visit is the service. Our waiter was very slow today as well as the chef. It was noon time and only a few people there. Our waters were not served until 15 minutes later. We received our foods but it took 45 mins. That is too long of a wait. Need to work on Service at a timely manner. Need to hire more workers. Lucky I was not in a rush at this visit. Plenty of parking with clean restrooms. I will come again. We've had pho delivered from here twice. Both times my wife has had the filet mignon pho. I've had steak and brisket, and brisket and meatballs. The food has arrived quickly and hot. All of the pho sides were included. Great service. Their pho broth is rich and quite frankly, amazing. It is not too salty at all. Lovely rich beef flavor. It's my favorite close place. I came here for lunch after leaving work to get that soul healing pho. The pho was just right! Satisfied my soul. The broth was perfect. The spring rolls came just before the pho, and they were great. The rolls were fresh and crisp. The thai tea was mostly milk, so I was sad about that. I was shocked to see this restaurant charge for something as basic as water. We were charged for both "water with lemon" and even plain ice water. Charging customers for tap water and a few lemon slices feels unnecessarily greedy, especially when we had already ordered over $85 worth of food before tax and service charge. What made it worse is that it comes across as incredibly desperate. Charging for ice water and lemon water is not something you expect from a restaurant that values customer service. It feels like an attempt to squeeze every possible dollar out of customers, no matter how small the amount. The food was okay, but these extra charges left a bad impression and made me feel nickel-and-dimed. It's not about the money--it's about the principle. Most restaurants provide water as a basic courtesy. Seeing charges for ice water and lemon water on the bill made the experience feel more focused on collecting extra fees than providing good hospitality. To top it off, an 18% service charge was already added to the bill. Between the service charge and being charged for water, the overall experience felt disappointing and unwelcoming. I'm always excited then saddened when a new restaurant opens in this space, because it is very challenging for them to stay open and I really want Saigon Hoa Pasteur to make it. I was feeling under the weather and didn't want to dine out, but I wanted soup and some spice to help me feel better. I loved the food that we got: Pho with steak and flank, 9/10, then the vermicelli with egg roll and chicken, 10/10 and the Bahn Mi with pork and fries 10/10. The food was fantastic but getting it as take out was a mistake. The Pho broth wasn't hot enough to cook the beef and we had to reheat it on the stove and there was way too much packaging. There were lots of sides that were delicious, but added to the packaging. I didn't want to spread my cold, but I wish we had eaten there except for the ambiance, which was not the best. When I go out I either: read if I'm by myself, or converse with my party. I definitely do not need to see/hear cartoons screaming at me, or any news programming at all. This is not a sports bar. If you must have the televisions on, show beautiful scenes of Southeast Asia or relaxing nature with ambient music. Since there's a seafood theme even beaches and the ocean would be nice. The service was prompt and efficient. I'm sure it would be for dining in as well, which is what I would do next time, unless the TVs are showing news/cartoons. In that case I'm moving on. read more

It's a local Pho and crawfish spot near Costco, so you know I had to try it. I got both + fries and it was...normal. It hits the spot if you're nearby and need a fix. I don't crave this type of food often, so when it does hit me, I'd rather drive out further to eat at better spots. Something weird did happen was some confusion on an order that never came out. Fresh but much smaller portions than standard. The meat was a little frosty but still tender and the broth tastes great. I understand no one is going to do it like where I grew up in Westminster/ "Little Saigon" but at least it was fresh. Still a good option, although We Love Pho II still proves the rule that the place with a number in the name is always the best pho place in town. Pho Daily is closer to me but should be avoided as they always serve slimy rotten toppings if you order to go and inconsistent portions on top of that. read more

The restaurant was clean and well-stocked with all the necessary condiments, including chili oil. The service was friendly and attentive. It's a solid 4.5 for Vietnamese food, and this place is in its own lane as there aren't other Vietnamese restaurants until you drive over to Cerritos/Artesia. We went during a soft opening and we were the only folks although the place quickly filled up for dinnertime. They kept some of the cajun seafood items from the previous restaurant, which I really enjoyed, and they also offer a very good selection of Vietnamese food. We had the lemongrass beef vermicelli, grilled chicken vermicelli, egg rolls, garlic noodles, and iced coffee. I'd order everything again except for the garlic noodles, which was decent but not what is popular out there for garlic noodles. But the vermicelli and egg rolls were great and I appreciated how everything seemed to have extra attention with the preparation. The fish sauce was really good and had a nice sweetness to it, and the lemonrass beef and chicken were not dry and had lots of flavor. The egg rolls seemed double-fried with a nice crunchiness and meaty filling. I also appreciate that the server came by to check on us later after we got our food--it's surprising how fewer dine-in places do that, and it's a minimum expectation for me. What a nice surprise to find this place close by. There honestly are not a lot of solid Vietnamese restaurants in the north Long Beach/lakewood area. I'd drive to Westminster for more of my authentic Vietnamese foods. But this place did not disappoint! When we walked in, we were able to choose our own seat. Owner welcomed us with a smile. When we ordered, he repeated our order to make sure he got it right. I miss the days when a giant bowl was pho was no more than $8. It's about $14 here. The pho portion is very reasonable and the flavors are all there. So I can't complain. I just miss those old days . We brought young kids and they were welcomed. He brought us forks to accommodate and extra bowls to share. Food: My boys drank up the pho broth!!! That's when you know it's good. I also ordered the pork spring rolls. They're not as fat and stuffed as some other places but they hit the spot and the dip that came with it was delicious. The flavor of the pork was also on point. My friend ordered the fried rice. I didn't get to try it but it looked like it was good. I would absolutely come back here for pho. Very first thing greeted with smiles although the restaurant was nearly empty with just one table that had four customers. It was approximately 6 PM when we came in remember, this is New Year's Day. My daughter works for a Chinese restaurant so I know they never close and have big business on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. So I was happy to see that this restaurant was open. Within minutes, nearly every table was full. I have been watching this gaming chef on Facebook. She's Vietnamese and married to a Korean so the food that she makes is always beautiful and hot and looks delicious and I've been in search of the perfect Pho. Our server, his name is Long. He was so informative and welcoming and sweet. I thought he was the owner son however he says he's a new server just a few months here. He's gonna go a long way! The music was beautiful. It's all in Vietnamese, but you can almost understand it just by the tones and the cadence of the music. Don't listen to the 1 star reviews. They're the type of customers who will find ANYTHING to complain about. Whenever I'm craving authentic Vietnamese food or even just pho, I always find myself traveling to Garden Grove or Westminster. Not so much anymore! I'm so happy this place is just a few min from me because it's just as good as some of the Vietnamese restaurants you'll find in OC. We started w/ the coconut snails, the sauce was so rich and flavorful. They give you a good amount to share for two people. There is a certain way to eat them so be sure to know that before ordering or you'll just be sucking the sauce lol. I also ordered the egg rolls, so crisp and delicious. Make sure to wrap them in the lettuce & pickled veggies they come with. Def will be ordering both appetizers again. The pho was also so rich in flavor it was unnecessary to add any additional condiments, which was surprising considering most pho places I've tried around LB, Cerritos, Lakewood lack flavor. I did, however, added some of their spicy chili sauce they had on the table because OMG IT WAS SO GOOOOOD and I like my pho a bit spicy. So far I've visited this establishment three times and each time the customer service was great. At night it's a boy who is very attentive but not over bearing. Both times I went during the day was a young girl who seemed very shy but she was so sweet and attentive as well.
