I wasn't planning on going back or leaving a review but I was annoyed when my husband handed me the receipt. We ordered a couple of Pho bowls that comes with 2 type of meat. The staff there heard me asking my husband why there wasn't meatballs in one of them so the staff said he'll bring it not a problem. He did NOT disclose that he would charge us $8 for them. I was so excited to try this place and I was very disappointed. I went yesterday 4/26 around 8pm with my boyfriend & son. The wait was ridiculous. I understand that its the weekend and all places are busy but seems like they were given priority to online orders as we see people pick up. Then two girls sat next to us and got annoyed about the wait so they asked about the wait time and were given their food before us. Mind you we were there first. Finally after about a 40min wait we got our food. We're not even given or offered water by the way. It was really good but by that time we were frustrated and didn't really enjoy it. We just wanted to leave. As we were leaving the girls were arguing with the manager about getting a discount and it was handled in a unprofessional manner as we were heating yelling and threats to call the police. We payed and were not offered any compensation for the bad experience which is fine. The waiter did apologize but said it was out of his hands. I will not be returning and sad to say because I seen its a family owned business and we like supporting small businesses but the experience we had was less than fortunate. We just moved around the corner and have made this our go-to pho spot. We dined in for our first visit. There was one other party sat to dine, and they were at the end of their meal. It took about two minutes for the host to greet us and tell us to seat ourselves. We sat for more than five minutes before our order was taken. Their pho is served with two choices of protein; at $13.99, the price truly can't be beat. It took another 20 minutes until our food was brought to the table. Really delicious! We initially were drawn to the restaurant for the 15% off promotion, but that wasn't reflected on our bill. Totally fine. Worth the full price. Second experience was take-out. I went later in the day to pick up a phone order. When I called to place the order, I was quoted about 20 minutes for pickup. I arrived within the designated pickup time. The hostess was the ONLY employee that wasn't kitchen staff. She was taking an order on the phone, waiting tables and tending to the guests walking in all on her own. All in all, after checking the status of my order twice, I waited more than 30 minutes past the estimated pickup time, and it really pained me to check in with the hostess about it each time. She was totally overworked. (Again, no 15% off promotion applied to the order. That's fine, but noted.) Service is really lacking here. I hope management appropriately staffs the restaurant soon so it can continue to stay in business because their food is really delicious. read more

My wife and I had a fantastic pho place in Long Beach on 10th. Parking was horrible and the line was long. But it was sooo good that nothing else mattered after the first taste...it was that good! We support local businesses so we decided to try this place. I was skeptical-I never thought anything could be better than our old haunt. I was blown away! It's the best I've ever had. This place is the real deal! I'll most likely have lunch there tomorrow. I gave this restaurant 4 stars because I don't think people really believe anything is good enough to be a 5 star restaurant. Im really conflicted on my stars. Honestly our pho was great! Utensils were FILTHY! I could never understand why someone would sit two DIRTY PLASTIC CUPS(I'm talking a real clear plastic solo cup not a hard plastic cup) on our table, along with a dirty oily spoon! I asked for new cups and she went to the stack of cups and kept looking for clean ones with no water marks! (Took 10 mins to find CLEAN CUPS w/4 customers inside) She had to go find the brand new bag of cups! Because out of the 100s of cups that are already stacked not 1 was clean! The egg rolls were crispy, delicious and thin served with the requisite lettuce, pickled vegetables,mint, and fish sauce dip. The baguette with the Banh Mi was crispy and the chicken perfectly grilled also served with pickled veggies and fresh lettuce and a few jalapenos. The lemongrass tofu on vermicelli was flavorful and fresh, but I would've enjoyed having a few more pieces of tofu to further complement my bowl. I ordered the grilled muscles and it smelled foul. The popcorn chicken tasted like they were microwaved out of a bag. We ordered fries with the popcorn shrimp that tasted reheated. When other tables got theirs it was normal portions. I ordered a seafood boil and they didn't give me gloves or the paper to cover the table or anything. I waited about 30 minutes and I asked if they could check on my food since it was a reasonable amount of time to cook it. My husband got his food before mine which wasn't an issue for me although it was only like 4 pieces of meat in his vermicelli order. Other tables were getting their food before me and at this point everyone that came after us was getting their food. They didn't update me about my food and I waited about another 20 minutes.
