White rice, orange/tangerine chicken, string bean chicken

Stopped by for a quick meal. We came for lunch on a weekday and surprisingly lots of foot traffic coming in for takeout! It's in a quiet strip mall so plenty of parking. Food tasted pretty good and at a good price point. We got two item combos. Like other Chinese fast food, you have choice of white rice or fried rice and any other entree items. If you want just one item they can put into a bowl instead for the same price. The tangerine and orange chicken are tasty. The beef and other chicken entrees are seasoned well so no need to add sauce but you can ask for some. Chili oil is $1 extra.

Stopped by to get a quick dinner to go. Walked in and the place smelled great and looked good. The food was good and the plates were packed to the brim. I got a Combo B with all fried rice, tangerine chicken and teriyaki chicken with extra teriyaki sauce over the rice. All for $11.99 plus tax. Also got a Combo C with half & half, beef & broccoli, tangerine chicken & kong pow chicken. All for $14.99. All the food was good and delicious. I would definitely go back for more. For the price and serving sizes it's well worth it.

Used to come here as a highschooler been coming here for years my grandmother used to bring me here with all due respect your quality has gone down food is just okay and doesn't taste amazing just mediocre and you guys used to give more on the portions of chow mein and rice now you give baby scoops step it up they just opened and their food taste old

The service was cool. Lots of places to sit, there wasn't a big line, so we didn't have to wait to get to get served or to get a seat. The price was average. Overall I'd say that this place is okay. Not great but not bad. I ordered the red chicken and pork. The chow mien was good but the pork tasted a lil too salty for my taste. The red chicken good. I'm not hating on the spot just saying what my experience was. The people behind the counter were cool, I liked them. The ladies behind the counter are friendly. They were cracking jokes and nice. I spent like $17 bucks and got a combo B which was two entrees, a can of root beer, two lil Sriracha cups and two fortune cookies. I'll definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

First impressions: Your typical, local Chinese fast food spot. Decor is serviceable, not like you're taking anyone here for a first date (no judgement if you do). The food is set out behind glass so you can see what it is you want. I always eat with my eyes so this is good for me. The price is super cheap... I almost feel guilty. This is a family owned business and I've met the son and I think aunt or grandmother also works here (you can tell with Asian people, we're all ageless until we hit our 80s). I love seeing them work together as a family, makes my heart feel good supporting them over Panda Express. It's pandemic times so you know these small businesses are struggling, so I try to come often and tip generously even if I'm doing take out versus dine in. I wouldn't want this spot to close down The Noms: Tangerine chicken is my favorite, hands down. I love the flavor and the crispiness is always on point every time I get it. I usually like to do combo B (two items) and get a mix of the fried rice with the chow main. Their chili oil is super bomb. It's spicy and garlicky and aromatic. I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. I always buy a container to go and bring it back to NYC (in a glass container that's triple wrapped in plastic cling wrap.) I love it on everything, pizza, sandwiches, egg rolls, etc etc. Get some to take home, you'll love it. In Conclusion: 10/10 would recommend as this is my go-to spot (in Cali) for Chinese fast food. Simple, fast, delicious food and friendly family owned restaurant.

This is $13 dollars worth of Egg Foo Young. Ha!! Oh brother!
    Gina C.

Terrible rip off!! This costs 13 bucks, oh and a small cup of white rice. No meat at all. No gravy as I asked for. Cup of teriyaki. Hard and filled with corn, lol. Like no egg foo young I've ever had. When I called to ask them if this is correct... She said yes prices have gone up. I buy eggs too restaurant people and this is not $13 worth. Just a heads up...

Every dish we've tried has been full of flavor and genuinely worth ordering. Surprisingly, compared to other Thai spots, it's usually not overly packed and honestly I'm almost scared to say that because I don't want it to change. The service has always been great, the food comes out quickly, and the portions/prices feel reasonable. So far, our favorites have been the pad see ew, tom yum soup (medium spice), egg fried rice, fried calamari and the beef BBQ which was so good we immediately ordered a second plate. The mango sticky rice is also really good, but the portion is on the smaller side, so we ended up getting two orders since one plate is hard to share with more than 2-3 people. Parking has been easy for us so far since there's both a parking lot and nearby street parking. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants that's officially in our regular rotation.

KIN Thai Cuisine in Long Beach off Broadway is a really solid spot…read more Parking is available, but it is limited, so just keep that in mind depending on the time you go. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, including the restrooms, which I always appreciate. The staff was very customer service oriented and did a great job making suggestions and giving tips about the menu and spice levels, which was super helpful. I started with the Money Bags, which are basically fried dumplings. Mine were a little overcooked, almost close to burnt. They still had decent flavor, but I'd personally rate them about a 2.9 out of 5. I also had the green papaya salad with mild spice, and the spice level was perfect, especially for people who are sensitive to heat. I usually stick around medium spice at Thai restaurants, but even the mild here still gives you a nice kick. For my drink, I got the Thai tea, which came topped with a Thai tea popsicle that slowly melted into the drink. Such a cute touch, creative, and tasty. For my entrée, I had the basil garlic sauce with sliced steak and a side of rice, which I really enjoyed. For dessert, we shared the mango sticky rice. It was good, but I do feel like it was a little overpriced for the portion size. Maybe part of that is because of the specialty rice they use that has the purple hue. I know a few places in Long Beach where you can get more for the same price. That said, the presentation was really cute with the flower garnish and everything looked beautiful. The atmosphere was nice. It has an open kitchen concept, so you can actually see the cooking happening, which adds to the experience. Seating is somewhat limited and the tables are fairly close together in certain sections, especially where the divider walls are, so you can definitely hear nearby conversations depending on where you sit. Great food, clean restaurant, and strong customer service. I'd definitely come back. Flavor Profile (for reference): Umami-forward (savory, salty depth) Acidic or bright (tangy + sour) Pungent and intense (spicy and bitter notes) Drink Preference (for reference): Bitter-forward cocktails Balanced acidity Light sweetness only, not overly sugary

I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years, from orange chicken to the short ribs, and most dishes are delicious. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing family-style, especially with larger groups. They've always handled big parties well, though I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time since they can get busy. The ambiance is probably the one area that could use some improvement, but the food and portions more than make up for it. If it's your first time, I'd recommend the chicken corn soup, sweet and sour chicken, green onion paratha, and Mongolian beef.

It also came with some type of brown sauce which I couldn't tell what it was, a bit sour- I didn't love it. The chive scallion pancake was veryyyy crispy very fried but alas it was tasty. The garlic green beans WERE 10/10!!! Obsessed. I'd come back just for that and a drink.
