Place was super disappointing. I had to repeat my order a minimum of 4 times before being charged the wrong amount and having to run my card again. Then, I ask for half salad half rice and they wouldn't accommodate. We ordered Limu poke bowls and both were fresh and tasty:) my mom has a thing for extra sesame oil and asked the cook for some extra, he kindly gave it and she was a happy camper. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon. The teriyaki chicken is more on the sweet side and comes with rice and macaroni salad. I loved the teriyaki salmon it was grilled perfectly! They also have a lot of imported Hawaiian goods (candies, drinks, cookies, jewelry and souvenirs). They also have cheerful employees which gives it a plus. We stopped by this Poke Etc today and ordered the katsu and poke and a poke bowl. The poke selections were kimchi poke and sweet & sour poke. The food was prepared quickly, considered that it was a one man show in the kitchen. The taste of the food was ok. I have been to the other poke etc on Carson st, and the poke quality and flavor was much better there. The Katsu left a lot to be desired. Love this place! I work down the street so I frequent this place often. I've tried just about everything on the menu and can tell you that the Poke is bomb. I always get Fresh Ginger or Oyster Poke. I recommend getting the two item (poke) combo - it's like $1 more than the regular poke bowl and you get alot more Poke for the $1. I always add a small seaweed salad to my order - they make it pretty good here. It's just the right amount of seasoning and oil they put into it. If I am not in the mood for the Poke I usually get the longansia or portuguese sausage combo with scramble eggs. I love how the make the scramble eggs here. It's always cooked perfectly just like how moms used to make it. This is like your hole in the wall comfort food type of place. Highly recommend!
