For a local mom and pop, it wasn't bad but could've been better. What disappointed me most was the fact that they don't have pineapple as a topping. Instead, it was mango, which made the flavor profile taste a bit off. They charge you for every topping you want after the initial two you choose for their signature poké bowls. Each topping/side is a different charge which they conveniently list on one of the many menus they have. It was a little overwhelming to check and see how much every topping would've costed me, so for my first time here- I just ended up getting what I would've wanted anyway. It would've been boring had I not added the kimchi, masago, and imitation crab to it (these were all extra charges). I realize I prefer to have extra sauce with my poké, so seeing that they already pre toss their proteins in their sauces was a bit of a disappointment. The bowl tastes bland overall without enough sauce. To be fair though, they do use fresh ingredients and their spicy mayo with the ahi tuna was tasty. Just wish there was more of it. Also wished the imitation crab could be tossed with mayo too. I appreciate the amount of crispy onion they give you, and the kimchi was a great addition. Just wish it wasn't $1.25 to add it. I tried adding a packet of soy sauce to my brown rice in hopes that it'd breathe some life into it, but that didn't help much. This place is better than Poke Bar on 1st St, but could never beat Uroko. At almost $25 for just one bowl, I don't think it was worth it. However, their customer service was outstanding and I appreciate the fact that they offer other items outside of poké. I'll at least try those items another time, and maybe grab one of their tasty cookies they have too.
Super stoked about this place! The large menu can be a bit overwhelming, but that gives you an excuse to keep coming back to try everything. I like that you can either get poke by the pound or as a combo with rice. There is also a variety of non-poke entrees. I enjoyed the tuna sisig. Just be aware they have an hour in the middle of the day where they close for service.
The owner or manager taking my order today didn't get it right. This was the first time my order was wrong. Asked for a quarter of the shoyu salmon but got spicy garlic instead. The wrong salmons were in the burrito smh, it was a huge inconvenience :(
We were around the area craving poke and decided to try this place out. We ordered the ribs plate with rice and a side of the spicy mayo tuna poke and everything was really good. The ribs were flavorful and the spicy mayo tuna definitely hit the spot. Servers were nice and friendly, and the place itself was clean and welcoming. Next time I definitely want to come back and try more of their poke bowls since everything we had was solid.
I've had this place bookmarked for so long because I haven't had it in YEARS, but I just discovered that it's right next to the ice rink that I skate at which is super dangerous for my wallet. I've tried the spicy garlic tuna, sweet and spicy tuna, and fresh mango tuna. The tuna tasted really fresh and I appreciated how different each and every flavor was. The spicy garlic tuna was my favorite and definitely has a kick to it! I haven't yet tried their salmon but they also have most of the same flavors. My friends and I have sat inside before and there's a few tables in the restaurant. Service is really quick and the workers have all been friendly every time I went. I'll definitely be back!
This place has the nicest lady in the world! She is an angel and she takes care of you and has an absolutely stunning energy to her! The food was good! It wasn't the absolute best poke but it was legit and was fresh! I wasn't a big fan of their Portuguese sausage musubi but that's just preference I'm sure there are people who love it! The place is nice and clean and is a smaller establishment! Overall great place worth trying!
I absolutely love real poke from the islands, that focuses on the beautiful flavor of the fish itself. It's super hard to find that here in CA. So I am so excited I have 2 locations of this authentic mom and pop shop close by! I've been to the other location and loved it, and I'm so happy this location is amazing as well! Super duper friendly. Easy parking. Seating inside or outside, what more can you ask for? I had the 8 oz tuna poke with shoyu after it was recommended to me. This is by far my favorite topping. I would come back here every day to have this if I could. The flavor is clean, savory, and light, perfect complement to the fish. This is 10/10 flavor, 10/10 authentic. I had the linguica (Portuguese sausage) Musubi. It was cold which I'm not as used to BUT it was jam packed with flavor! I love a spam musubi but this was a great way to mix it up. My Portuguese family would love this combo! If this was warm, this would be a 10/10. I will definitely be back!
Went here after the Long Beach antique and flea so I was starving. I opted for the bowl special as I wanted something that resembled the poke in Hawaii. I got the spicy mayo salmon and spicy garlic tuna. The portions might look small but they definitely fill you up fast! They were very busy so there was a wait to get food but the fish was so fresh n yummy

SERVICE very kind and patient! i had a few questions since this was my first time. my order was ready quick. AMBIANCE plenty of parking. a few tables and seats inside.
Stopped by Poke & More and ordered their signature bowl (1 poke + 2 toppings). I went with spicy tuna, sliced cucumbers, and seaweed salad. Their tuna is super fresh and tender. This is the kind of place that focuses on quality and it shows. If you're looking for Hawaiian-style poke that lets the fish shine, try Poke & More. Would 100% come back. 5/5

Absolutely love the poke and the loco moco here! We ordered a total of 12oz of salmon/tuna and a double loco moco to share between two people and it's the perfect mix of both fresh fish and a warm savory dish. Service is always friendly here. They do close from 3-4pm for a break. This is a nice place to have lunch in between errands, grocery shopping next door at Ralph's, or after working out at LA Fitness. Plenty of parking outside, and plenty of indoor seating. There are also a couple of outdoor tables as well.
One of the best poke places I've been to!! The fish just tastes so fresh and they have a great variety of sauce. I got the sweet and spicy and that is definately my fave! I got the spicy garlic and it had a pretth good kick to it. The service was super quick especially with such a long line.

3.8 stars I was craving poké and decided on this spot because the photos looked promising. I ordered ahead online and thought the process was seamless. Picking up at the store went smoothly. The cashier helping me out was super friendly and, when he noticed I was looking at the different options, he asked if I wanted to switch anything out. I thought that was a really nice gesture! But I ultimately stuck with my order. This was my order: 2 salmon bowl w/ drink ($16.25 + $.50 sub brown rice): this came with a total of 8oz of salmon and a free drink. The brown rice was a bit overcooked. It wasn't mushy, but it didn't separate as a whole grain. The shoyu salmon was a bit over-marinated....super salty. The spicy mayo salmon was perfect! 3.5/5 stars Shoyu tuna ($6.13): also over-marinated and super salty. It overpowered the taste of the tuna. It was still edible. 3/5 stars I really liked the service and that mom-n-pop feel to the store. There is also free parking on site. I'll be back to try other menu items, but I'll have to stay away from that shoyu. read more

I've been searching for classic traditional quality poke. This spot is the best one found so far! But I got confused by the menu, so next time I think I'll have a better experience. What I like is that they serve this the way most places in Hawaii do. The poke is marinated with different flavors and the bowls are simple - poke paired with rice. I got confused by the amount of fish I received when I got the bowl with rice and a drink. Getting poke by the pound is the move in my opinion. I ended up ordering an extra 1/2 pound on the side. I enjoyed the salmon ginger and crunchy tuna the most. However the salmon ginger poke got kind of soup-y with all the sauce? It still tasted delicious but I've never had so much liquid in my poke before. The oyster sauce salmon was decent but I think I prefer more of a salty savory less sweet profile. Service was friendly but I think could have explained the menu to me more clearly. Ambiance is very casual. I'll be back to try different pokes and will probably get different flavors. read more

This is the first time I am trying Poke and More just a tip. Tuesdays is poke Tuesday, which is 8 ounces of poke with two scoops of white rice and a drink. The salmon poke is 1299 and so is the tuna poke no tuna poke is 1229 so you can have up to two flavors for your choices. They also offered garlic rice and Filipino specials. The one thing I've never seen on other menus to show you chicken and huli huli chicken These will be the items I will need to try next. The service is pretty quick. The ambience is a little old, rundown, but still well-maintained and kept as clean as much as possible. I will be making my assessment regarding the taste of the food and will update my review once I've tried the food. read more

A friend and I found this spot on Yelp when we were craving poke and wanted something nearby. It's a small shop, but when we came in it wasn't busy at all, so we were able to grab a table right away. Service was solid -- quick, polite, and straightforward. Everything came out as expected, and there weren't any issues with our order. I decided to try the salmon poke burrito, which ended up being really good. The concept was fun and the flavors were fresh, though it was a bit pricey for what you get. That said, I understand that's pretty standard for poke spots in general, so I can't hold it against them too much. Overall, it was a good experience and worth checking out if you're in the area and craving poke. It's not a place I'd go out of my way for, but I'd definitely recommend trying the poke burrito at least once -- it's unique and satisfying. read more

Poke & More has some quality poke made with fresh fish. They've got a bunch of different flavors. I had the tuna california, which was tuna, imitation crab, and a mayo sauce, which was all quite good. This is more of a traditional hawaiian style poke. They do have toppings, but you have to ask and pay extra for them. Servings were big. A $14 bowl is good for two meals. read more

stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the fish was here! we got the spicy garlic tuna and the basic spicy salmon on the side. the tuna was incredible and i would totally recommend! salmon was fresh too. i was a bit sad that the bowl only comes with two toppings but for the quality of the fish i think it was worth. i would definitely come back to try the other kinds of tuna! read more
I have been here several times now as it's become a go-to poke spot for me. They have so many different flavors and the poke is stored in tins like in Hawaii. I especially love their Tuesday specials. On my last visit, I came right before their midday break (they close from 3-4 everyday), and I couldn't finish my bowl because the fish (tuna) wasn't as fresh as usual. So, I would advise to avoid coming from 2-3pm. Other than that, the poke has been fresh every time. The salmon is always good though. There's plenty of seating inside. Very casual ambiance. Love this hole in the wall poke place! Everything is always fresh and super tasty. My go to's are the tuna crunchy garlic, tuna sweet & spicy, and salmon mango! Soooo good every time. I always swing by on Tuesdays for their special (worth it!). Definitely a must try, you won't regret it! Heads up: they charge $0.10 for a bag (like most places in Long Beach now), so don't forget your reusable bag! read more
Not a big fan and probably won't come back to Poke & More. This place was not it, the poke was not fresh and tasted so fishy. When I ordered my food here, they have the poke in a container in the fridge for the to-go orders only? I'm not sure if that's smart because it tasted like its been sitting in that fridge for a while. But when I took it to go, the fish looked and tasted old and was on the mushy side. I was also really confused with all of their flavors. Also I can't eat spicy foods often but literally every flavor except a couple are not spicy which was really frustrating. (Shoyu and another one). I'm a big poke connoisseur and this is at the bottom of the list recently. If anything, I would try the poke burrito due to the uniqueness and I've never tried anything like that before. read more
I love poke so I was excited to try this place. I came on a Sunday around lunch time and there were about 2 people in front of me, so luckily it wasn't busy. The place is pretty small but there's plenty of seating. The menu is quite extensive and felt overwhelming to me but staff were helpful and service was fast. My order came out a minute or two after ordering. There's also a glass display case of all of the poke flavors which helps you visualize the different options they have. One thing that stands out about this place is the option to order a traditional Hawaiian style poke bowl (just base and poke in separate containers with no toppings) or a California style poke bowl (base, poke, and toppings all in one container). I went with the California style bowl and ordered white rice, salmon with spicy mayo, seaweed salad, and crispy onions. The rice was cooked perfectly so it wasn't soggy nor dry. The poke was fresh and the spicy mayo definitely added a small kick of spice. The toppings helped to balance out the strong taste of the poke. Support local businesses! read more
Poke and more is a family owned spot off Carson blvd in Long Beach. They offer poke, Hawaiian staples like kalua pork and katsu, and all day Filipino breakfast. Definitely a unique combo of food. I came right when they opened on a weekend as I was craving Hawaiian style poke at its peak freshness. The fish was cold and fresh, the rice was still steaming, and the flavors of the poke were pretty assertive. If you get your bowl "special" (aka Hawaiian style), they give you up to two flavors of your fish of choice and you get the hot, steaming rice served separately. If you get a regular poke bowl, then you get your choice of fish with two toppings and it's served over the rice. I ordered my salmon poke bowl special and I got "wasabi salmon" and "spicy garlic" flavors. I have to say that I enjoyed this meal. My preference was for their shoyu based flavors as their creamy poke was a little heavy on the mayo for my personal taste. I might come back to try Longanisa Filipino breakfast, which is served all day. I'm glad that I came by this morning! read more

What I ordered: - Tuna spicy garlic This place is definitely in my top five poke spots I've tried in California (including LA, OC, and SD). The fish quality is great, they offer a wide variety of flavors, and they include other types of fish--not just tuna (e.g., salmon). That said, the portion size of my poke bowl--especially considering the price--was smaller than I expected. As for the flavor I chose, I didn't find the garlic particularly strong, but I did enjoy the subtle heat of the marinade. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area! read more

first off the girl that is always working here has the best customer service, i wish i got her name!! she is always so kind and patient with me. i asked her to surprise me with her favorites and she gave me some good recommendations. so far the crunchy garlic tuna has been my favorite. the fish is always fresh and i love that they focus on the different marinades. i can never go back to a regular poke spot again. this is my spot for a pick me up and they always deliver :) read more

It's been years since I've been back but their poke I just as good as it was back then! They have a lot of options and their Tuesday poke offering is a really good deal. The mac salad was a major miss though. The pasta was super hard and overall lacked flavor. Bad batch maybe? Omg! I am so glad I found this place! I was craving some Filipino breakfast (specifically tocino and longganisa) and oh my god this place in Long Beach had it! Served with garlic rice, eggs, and side of vinegar, MANNN what a great way to satisfy this Filipino guy's craving...and fast! I've been here a couple times already and tried their poke & it's just like the poke in Hawai'i! Sooo many choices that one trip is not enough! The poke burrito was a good first time try as well! Love this place, love the workers, and love the atmosphere. The people behind the counter were VERY knowledgeable of their menu, don't be afraid to ask questions, they were very willing to help! 100% will be back! Good Poke Burrito!! I got the Regular Poke Burrito with Salmon - Sweet & Spicy. The Regular Poke Burrito came with the salmon I chose from their selection, seaweed salad, avocado, cucumber, sushi ginger, and wonton chips on the side, along with eel sauce. The Poke Burrito was great! I enjoyed it a lot. The salmon tasted amazing, and it tasted pretty fresh. I wasn't a bit fan of the sushi ginger so I may ask for no ginger next time. The wonton chips were fun. They're not super crispy, they're on the softer side of crispy, but it was still pretty good. The employees are very friendly! It's very easy to order with them. When picking up my order, I was asked if I wanted hot sauce or soy sauce. They give them to you in packets. The restaurant is pretty clean. The menu and posters on the wall are a bit overwhelming because the menu is big, and there's posters with specials. There's plenty of seating inside and I believe a table outside. There's menus outside the restaurant if you want to check out what you want before entering. I would come here again! The menu is overwhelming, but there's lots of items on the menu that I'm interested in trying! read more
