Recently, I tried this poke spot in a hot spring day and it was a perfect in between running a bunch of weekend chores. Light, refreshing and delicious. I tried the medium / regular poke bowl (which was very large imo) and it came with 3 scoops of protein and all the toppings you wanted. I had 3 scoops of tuna and 1 scoop of salmon. The tuna had a better flavor and the salmon prices were a bit large for me, but it was still good. All the toppings and the spicy mayo & eel sauces combined really made for a flavor explosion. I really enjoyed my meal. Our server who helped us with the selections was great. She read my mind when it came to adding ginger as a topping and I said "Oh, don't add wasabi" even though she was gesturing to the ginger haha. She knew exactly what I meant; I thought she was super awesome and friendly. I wish I got her name, but overall the service was great. Not bad for a quick poke pickup. This shop is tucked away into a corner of a plaza where you'd really have to keep your eyes peeled for it. I wanted a poke bowl on my way home from work one day and decided to give this place a try. Since it was my first time here, I tried asking the worker for some recommendations on what to put on my bowl but she kept deflecting back to me saying it's whatever I wanted - which is totally valid but I was really hoping she'd tell me what the popular combos are as I normally don't get poke bowls. So I'd give service a 3.5/5. The restaurant is somewhat small so expect a more packed ambiance if it becomes busy. I got my food to go to be on the safe side. The food itself was pretty good. Like many poke bowl spots, it's one of those "build your own bowls" type of restaurants, which is totally fine and gives you the flexibility of choosing what you want. The fish itself didn't taste super fresh but it wasn't bad either. It was still overall good, so I will give that. Overall, I'd still recommend this spot. It's been a while since my last visit. I'm happy they were open when searching for a last minute dinner spot because I was reminded how good this place is. It's a little pricey, however they really do give a lot. The protein scoops (esp spicy tuna) are worth the money. I can't forget to mention the quality...everything was fresh!!! They have unique sauce options. Personally, i'm basic with little to no sauce, but if you like spicy, this place has a variety of options. The poke is good, but it is a bit pricey, especially considering the small portions of fish compared to the large portion of rice. One issue I've encountered is their refusal to serve the seaweed salad on the side. Previously, a gentleman was kind enough to accommodate my request with a small portion, but today, a different employee was persistent and rude about denying it. When I mentioned that I had received it on the side before, she insisted that it wasn't allowed. I believe the customer service could be improved, and this situation could have been handled better. Offering the option to have the seaweed salad on the side would be a simple solution, as I personally prefer it that way rather than mixed into my poke bowl. It feels like a tactic to push customers toward purchasing a larger side portion instead. If they truly want to provide great customer service, they should be willing to accommodate reasonable requests like this. As a frequent customer who spends a good amount on their poke bowls and who goes out of their way to drive to this location, I don't think it was an unreasonable ask. It's not as if providing a small portion separately would have affected the employee personally, yet they made a big deal out of refusing my request rather than making a simple accommodation. Leaving this location after encountering this situation was very frustrating and disappointing. I may now consider another spot to get my poke as I now feel like it may not be worth it to come to this location knowing my experience may not be the greatest. I was reading other reviews about the service and honestly very disappointed but not surprised. Hands down the best overall poke spot in the area. Their servings are realllly good they ALWAYS give me an extra scoop of protein and each scoop is always full. Even though it's still about $20 like every other place they make sure you get your moneys worth. The fish itself is also very good and always tastes fresh. I got Hawaiian salmon spicy tuna and Hawaiian tuna. For sauce they have a spicy wasabi Mayo that's really good. The service was good overall. Small place not many people inside pretty empty for a Sunday afternoon. Will def come back and try different options when I'm in the area. Salad consisted of a tiny bit of spinach and a bunch of cheap iceberg lettuce which is a first for me. Not very many toppings. Fish is fresh tasting but one scoop consists of 3-5 tiny squares. Also the worst part by far was 50$ for 2 reg poke bowls and 2 drinks. My strawberry slushie tasted like nesquick strawberry milk which was disappointing. This is probably my top favorite poke place to go to. They have some good quality fish and they offer so many toppings. Definitely recommend the spicy Mayo and eel sauce combo, you can never go wrong. I like to get the biggest size so I can save some for later. I like also to order the spam musubi and the honeydew smoothie. They use non-dairy creamer for the smoothie so I don't end up blowing up the toilet after drinking it. Their salmon and tuna has different flavors like spicy salmon or sauces drizzled in salmon or tuna. The add on ingredients are pretty generous. You can have up to 3 scoops of edamame, pineapple, bean sprouts, cilantro, etc.... the only scoops that are limited 1 scoops are crab meat, seaweed, and masago. If I you want extra, it'll be extra charge. I got the 5 scoop. Half brown rice and half salad. Got all the different salmons and tunas. Had crab meat, masago, and seaweed. With 3 scoops of edamame, 1 scoop bean sprouts, cilantro, pineapple, lime, green onions, and carrots. I mixed ponzu, spicy mayo, and eel sauce together. It was deciduous!! Great for a hot day!! The person serving talks so fast when asked about which protein is that, it's really confusing. Had to ask a couple times to actually understand. They don't have the names next to the product that it makes it difficult to know what it is... and sometimes forget the name of the ingredients ... Plenty of table/seats inside and outside. This place is the first poke place I've been to that sells boba. I had gotten the regular bowl with spicy tuna and I was surprised that they had spicy crab because not a lot of places do. Their sauces are great and the staff is very helpful when you have questions. Although it is quite pricey, my total came out to 17 with tax just for a regular, I can't imagine how much a large would be. I was just a bit bummed that they didn't have as many topping options but the quality is very fresh for the fish, although tables are quite dirty and need to be wiped down. This place was okay. It was actually pretty expensive for what it was (around $14 for a small compared to $10 at other places). When you ask for "salad", you don't get spring mix. You literally get a garden salad, like chopped iceberg lettuce. It was very confusing. The boba is pretty mediocre. If I needed boba and couldn't go anywhere else, I might order it here again, maybe. I would say it's okay, if you're craving poke then it'd satisfy that, but in terms of quality and taste then I prefer other poke places (e.g., Poke Bar). We got a large, which comes with 5 proteins, which is a lot, I will say every bite had fish in it so that was a plus. They have a lot of toppings, which we added most of them and got the spicy wasabi sauce and ponzu sauce. we got the "hawaiian" version of the fish which is supposed to have sauce on it as well, but it still tasted like it could've used more sauce on it. For the base we got salad, most places use the spring mix but this one came with iceberg lettuce and spinach, which was interesting.
