Poke 2 Grill is located inside a food hall. Was a bit overwhelmed by all the options and wait times so I landed at Poke2 and it did not disappoint. The line went by quickly and the workers were friendly. Poke was fresh and the portions were huge! Loved the topping and sauce selection here. Would come back again!
I wanted to get something light in the Hangar pairing it with my Blue Bowl. Saw the reviews for Poke2Grill and was excited to try it. Upon ordering, the employee was loading it up with salmon and tuna which made me even more happier about this spot. But when I started eating the bowl the fish was really slimy and tasted fishy fishy. I know fish naturally has a fishy taste unless you put vinegar on it. I don't know though, I usually can power through but decided not to eat the rest of my bowl. I would be open to give it another try but definitely wasn't a good first experience.
Poke2 Grill is one of the food stalls inside of The Hangar Food Hall in LBX. They offer build-your-own style poke bowls. They also have grilled protein salads and bowls, but when I was in line, everyone around me only seemed to be getting poke! You can choose from 3 sizes--small has 1 scoop of fish, medium has 3 scoops, and large has 4 scoops. Then choose your base, protein, flavors, and toppings. The medium size was pretty filling. I couldn't finish the whole thing. They really pack the bowl, which is great! Ingredients were fresh, and sauces were tasty. One thing to note is their crab meat option is considered one of your protein scoops, but they do give a lot! Parking can get super crowded in the evenings! Be prepared to come early and circle the lots a few times.

I got the large Poke bowl which comes with four scoops of fish over a base of salad. I was able to add all of the toppings which was drizzled with the yuzu ponzu sauce to give acid and flavor. While I felt the size was generous and filled to the max, I did feel a little bit underwhelmed by the fish quality which didn't seem as fresh. Perhaps because it was because it was near the end of the day? Since they make it as you go, the food came out quickly. Again because I was there at the end of the day, there was a few workers who gave a vibe like all they wanted to do was go home. Totally understandable at the end of the day, but not what I usually expect. Overall, Poke2 Grill is a decent option if you want a poke bowl but the service and quality may vary.

This was the only place I returned to on my most recent trip to Long Beach. I absolutely LOVED my Poke Bowl here. The portion size was HUGE. I was a little concerned how much I was getting for the price because I'm used to serving sizes by my in Virginia but this was outstanding. The food was fresh and you could taste just how fresh it was. The service was impeccable. Everything was labeled for allergies which was great for my gluten free diet. The only thing I wish they had was gluten free soy sauce takeaway packets but that's not a deal breaker at all, to be honest, it didn't even need it! I will be back for sure when I go back out to Long Beach! Thanks for delicious lunches!

Very fresh Poke and excellent service from Alyssa and staff. I ordered a Large 4 Scoop Poke Bowl with Tuna, Spicy Tuna, Salmon, and Albacore. I requested Yuzu Ponzu, Classic Spicy, Spicy Citrus Miso, and Asian Glaze flavors. Each ingredient was delicious, pronounced, and the heat was evident.
I was a bit weary about choosing Poke2 Grill after sifting through some of the reviews, but to my delight, I'm SO glad I chose this spot! Note: this location is at the Hangar, which makes for a perfect date-night spot! I have had poke many-a-times and the bowl I ordered definitely hit the spot! I ordered the small bowl, which had a generous portion of rice, protein, and fixings! I built my own poke bowl picking spicy tuna and shrimp as my proteins along with a scoop of the crab, then added an abundance of yummy toppers including ginger, edamame, green onions, masago, corn, and furikake. I did a blend of the spicy citrus miso and the classic sauce. WHAT A COMBO of flavors! The seafood tasted fresh and the combination of textures, flavors, sauce, and perfectly cooked rice made this an exceptional meal! I am SO glad I got the small size, since I was only able to eat a little over half of it. (Plus, I got to treat myself to the leftovers a few hours when my hunger kicked in) I will definitely be hitting Poke2 Grill up again the next time I am in town and craving a poke bowl. Asides from the staff being friendly, I love the options they have on the menu, the variety of sauces and ways to spice up your bowl, and the freshness of all of their ingredients. I recommend this spot to all folks looking for a light, filling, and delicious meal!

I ended up grabbing some late lunch at this spot. The heat makes it ridiculous to want to eat anything and poke feels like enough to eat. I ordered a large poke bowl with half rice half salad with 2 scoops spicy tuna, 1 scoop tuna, 1 scoop salmon. I think the spicy tuna was the best out of the 3. The quality of the tuna and salmon was okay, I didn't get sick or anything luckily. Just has the pale/old color to it. I added cucumbers, jalapeños, onions, green onions, ginger, and seaweed salad. I used spicy mayo for my sauce with ponzo sauce as well. I really like the seaweed salad. The ginger had a good crunch to it, I never had onions or jalapeños in a poke bowl but I love spicy stuff so at least for me, it was up my alley for sure. Service was okay. Nothing special or notable. Not really a poke spot I would come back to. There's other spots that have fresher poke for sure. It's convenient, but that's about it. It's located in the Hangar, so there's free plaza parking all around and restrooms inside. read more

Good sized poke bowl for a reasonable price. Went with the build your own poke bowl. You choose the size (small, medium or large), the base (brown rice, white rice, salad mix, tortilla chips or half / half of any of the 4 choices), scoops of protein depending on the size you choose, toppings (corn, carrots, edamame, seaweed, onions, peppers, avocado is extra) and sauce. Workers are really nice and explain if you have questions. Because this merchant is located in the food hall, it can get quite noisy. There are options to sit outside in the patio or lawn where it's not as loud. read more

For the amount of money you spend food is plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The only complaint I have right now is the tuna was not as fresh as the salmon. Service is quick and easy, ambience is clean, area is beautiful. There's indoor or outdoor dining. I would recommend this place, but they still need to update the quality on the tuna poke. read more

Located in LBX Hanger. They have a number of bowls to choose from. The names bowls are served with cooked protein. the build you bowl comes in three sizes and you have your choose of raw seafood to choose from. I selected a Medium bowl with Brown rice for the base, Arugula, edamame, carrots, purple onions, jalapeño and tuna and salmon. They have a number of sauces to top with. The service and bowl was good, and I will definitely be back. Seating in the hanger is limited. They have outdoor seating when the weather is nicer. read more

The food is still tasty. But I wouldn't go back here if that young tall guy works there. The ladies who work there were much generous on the portions of food (from my previous experiences). But the guy was so cheap, feel like he is taking the measuring spoon out on each item. For the money I paid, this is certainly not worth it. I was there with my Chamber for a mixer, so I advised everyone in my group NOT to go there. read more
Very standard poke bowl. Quick and nice service. Was so excited about the hot Cheeto topping but I don't think it added any flavor or depth to my bowl. I would maybe come here again if I was in dire need of a poke bowl, but by no means is this place my go-to for one. read more
This location is in the hangar. I would say it ones of the cheaper options here. This is more of the popular option since I see a small but fast line here. I got the small poke which came with 1 scoop of protein and crab salad. The staff is fast. There are many options here. You get 3 choice of Topping, whatever sauce, and seasoning. I got a medium half white rice half salad mix with crab meat, salmon, and tuna in a spicy mayo and glaze. The toppings were so good & really brought everything together. the service was nice & quick! One of my favorite poke places to go! Good portion for a Medium bowl (3 scoops of protein). I always order half brown rice and salad, 2 scoop of salmon and 1 scoop of crab meat, all toppings except jalapeño and their creamy cilantro sauce is good! Plus ginger, wasabi and crispy onion is a Must! The staff is nice friendly, the food hall can get packed and loud but overall it is okay. read more

I'm a huge poke lover and can't believed this place was right under my nose! I work out a lot, so I opted for the 4 scoops of protein bowl and they do not skimp you here! I got 4 healthy scoops of protein, 2 of which were salmon, and 2 were shrimp! There is so much customizability to the bowls that I may have gotten a tiny bit overwhelmed, but that's fine because I'll study up what I want before I come again next time lol! Also, their ginger was fantastic! Sometimes ginger is too intense, but their batch was the perfect amount of flavor for what I wanted! The line to wait for my food was also really fast and thanks to the 2 working for making it happen in under 2 minutes! There is plenty of space to sit around and enjoy your food here too! As a poke fan, this place is nothing special to talk about. I ordered a large bowl which cost me $20 with 4 protein. The portion is big but the worst thing was the sauce. My sauces were " ponzu with classic mild". I didn't even taste it on my fish. They should have put more. I felt like I was eating white rice with raw fish and toppings which was so I couldn't finish it. Will I go back? Probably not!! There are many better poke place in Long Beach/ Cerritos area. read more
Can't go wrong with a Poke bowl. We got 4 sides of protein and it was jammed packed with flavor. The service was great and fast. Love that you can pick the sauces that you want for flavor. They had this delicious green sauce that they said it was a customer favorite and they weren't wrong it was packed with flavor, every bite was oh so yum. We loved it and shared cause of course we got the Large. Will def be back! read more

Which sauces are dairy and egg free also is crab meat dairy and egg free thanks?
Creamy Cilantro is the only sauce with dairy (cheese). Creamy Cilantro & Spicy Mayo are the only sauces with mayo (egg). Crab Meat is also made with mayo (egg). All other sauces, proteins, and toppings are dairy and egg-free :)
