What an absolute let down. Been wanting to try this place out for years but they're always so busy that I have t had the chance. Came here on a Tuesday about 1230. The place was dirty. The tables smelled like dirty rags. The food was underwhelming and the portions are small for what you pay. I paid $21 for eggs, burnt Portuguese sausage and macadamia nut pancakes. The eggs had egg shells in them... The Portuguese sausage was burnt, and I've had better macadamia nut pancakes at Polly's! I will never ever come back here. I love supporting small businesses, especially.Island food being Hawaii is my home away from home. The person who brought us our food didn't even offer to bring us an extra plate. She saw that we were sharing our food, she didn't even offer to bring us any condiments when she saw that our table had none... didn't even ask us if we needed anything else.. don't. Waste. Your. Time. Or. Money.
I dropped off my friends at LAX for a outgoing flight and it was a Saturday early morning. I was craving breakfast and had never been to any Aloha Stacks prior. Located at a large strip center, there was an abundance of parking available. I prefer the setup of how orders are placed at the counter and the staff brings out the food to your table of choice at the dining room, which is quite large and spacious. There's a self-service beverage bar and there's a condiment station too. We ordered the prime rib breakfast burrito and the Loco Moco with the hamburger patty for protein. My breakfast burrito was sizable and contained added protein of guacamole and the prime rib was tender and yummy. The loco moco was topped with requested medium cooked eggs and the yummy gravy was served on the side which I prefer. Portions were generous and filling. I'm looking forward to visiting another Aloha Stacks and trying their macadamia nut pancakes.
Their Hawaiian food is great. Long wait sometimes. You need to order your food before you can get a table. I tried the rib eye loco moco and it was one and done for me. I prefer the kalua pork loco moco or the classic burger patty.

Always a great breakfast - food and service! So many options, sweet and savory! Great coffee and tea drinks! Pancakes are amazing (especially their Ube Pancakes)! Portions are very generous! First time trying their salsa, very good! Can't wait unril.their Long Beach Store options! We drive to Cerritos for Aloha Stacks!
I had a meeting that I was running late to so I need a quick nibble. I orded the kids meal which included fries and chicken Fingers. The chicken had a nice crispy seasoned coating it taste delicous. The chicken was juicy too. I also enjoyed ice ube latte with Carmel nice smooth and refreshing taste.
A craving for pancakes led my husband and I to "Aloha Stacks" in Cerritos. This place never lets you down. The customer service is good, the restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking. The food is "Oh So Delicious" and worth every penny . It is across the street from Los Cerritos Mall in case retail therapy is needed. There are a lot of other restaurants and eateries available in case you get hungry after shopping as "Aloha Stacks" is only open from 6:30am to 2:00pm, 7 days a week. There is another location in Whittier. I recommend this restaurant.
Went for breakfast and ordered the waffle trio. Looked great and tasted delicious. However, toward the end of my meal, I went to move all the fruit off the waffle and found a small hair embedded in the waffle. Possibly a nose hair or eyelash hair, or maybe even an eyebrow hair. Idk. I wasn't sure if I was going to say anything, but decided I should because I realized that I might have eaten many hairs! Hell if I know! So anyway, I go on to tell the cashier, and her reaction was "okay." I was like, okay just thought I'd let you know. And then she says, "did you want a refund or something?"... uh, no thanks. "Or another waffle?" OH, definitely not. "Are you sure?" Yes, I'm sure. Then she finally says, "well I'll let them know in the back. I'm really sorry about that." I was very disappointed in the reaction to my complaint. Her tone was very "okay, and?" (Run the tape and see for yourself if you're the owner and record everything). As a Business Manager and experience heavy in customer service, the apology should have been first and genuine. The refund should have been insisted or a gift card should have been provided for a future visit. Her "okay" remark made it seem like she was already expecting a complaint or was making me out to be a liar which I did not appreciate. I used to really like this place.
This spot is located across the street from Cerritos mall. It's order at the register and they'll bring out your food. There's a good amount of tables that are spread out. It felt a bit cluttered though. I got to try the California omelette, breakfast burrito, and the Oreo pancake. The California omelette was good, but nothing too special about it. The breakfast burrito was stacked. My favorite was the Oreo pancake. I'm usually not a sweet breakfast girly, but this really hit the spot. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and topped with some Oreo chunks. The servers were sweet and attentive. Definitely a nice spot for brunch! Also good to note they do close at 2pm.
Aloha Stacks takes a more no-frills approach compared to a lot of other Hawaiian spots, and it really shows in their loco moco. Instead of the usual sides like macaroni salad or steamed veggies, they keep it simple: a juicy burger patty, perfectly runny sunny-side-up eggs, all sitting on a bed of steamed rice and finished with a generous drizzle of gravy. That's it. It might feel a little stripped down if you're expecting the full traditional plate, but there's something satisfying about how straightforward it is. The focus stays on the core elements, and when those hit, you don't really miss the extras.
Where Aloha Stacks really shines is the pancakes--they were delicious. Everything else tasted like your standard breakfast joint. Nothing bad, just nothing particularly memorable either. Seating is limited, and the place can get very busy during peak hours.

I'd already pre-chosen what I wanted to order, but seeing all the delicious options listed on the specials and menu board had me wishing I could try one of everything! For today I chose the crab & mushrooms Benedict and a (secret menu) order of white lava pancakes to share. My daughter ordered the breakfast burrito with Spam. The Benedict was SO good! The crab is real, lump crab meat, YUM!! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the sauce was creamy and nicely seasoned. It came with a side of house potatoes that I also enjoyed. The pancakes' description and photos sounded so good, but they ended up being very disappointing. There's banana mixed into the batter, but the banana flavor didn't come thru. The sauce is a creamy white sauce that was very neutral in flavor. I ended up still using the table syrup to sweeten the dish up. My daughter really enjoyed her burrito! It's something I'd order on a next visit for sure! The table next to us got the ube pancakes that looked AMAZING! This is another item I'd definitely wanna try! Service at the counter for ordering was friendly and patient (since we had questions as first timers) and the gal who brought our food to our table was also pleasant and thoughtful. Looking forward to coming back to try more Hawaiian inspired food!

Be cautious of pedestrians and idiotic drivers that have no patience. Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. It wasn't too busy for a weekday. The inside was decently clean. Service: The cashier that assisted us was quick & efficient. Throughput didn't take too long after ordering. All the workers were courteous and willing to help. Empty plates were constantly being removed and tables were clean. Food: I ordered the Breakfast Egg Burrito with spam, and my aunt ordered eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The burrito was stuffed with spam, scrambled eggs, cheddar jack cheese, and potatoes with a side of chips & salsa and beans. Their version of potatoes were diced and seasoned well. The spam and eggs tasted as expected. Pricing: I was actually shocked my burrito was $12. This is honestly considered affordable nowadays lol. Though, $15.50 for eggs, bacon, and potatoes seemed absurd. I'd come back for their breakfast burrito and possibly try their pancakes.
Pleanty of food to choose from. Lots of protein preferences. Pancakes are the main staple. Good for groups if one can find the tables unoccupied. The service is order-pay, and pick up your food when called up. In the middle of busy Cerrittos plaza. read more
Tried Aloha Stacks and got the Captain Mac Nut French Toast and Ube Coconut Belgian Waffle. The place always looks packed, but there's usually seating available after you order. The wait for the food was long as usual, but the process is pretty simple,, you get a table number and they bring the food out to you. Water is also self-serve. The French toast was delicious! The bread was thick with a nice crispy exterior. The Ube Coconut Belgian Waffle was very soft and not as fluffy or thick as I expected, possibly because of the whipped cream on top. Most of the flavor came from the coconut and the syrup I added on the side, and I didn't get too much ube flavor. I was also a little disappointed that there was only a single strawberry on each dish. I probably wouldn't get the Ube Coconut Waffle again but it was still a nice experiment and I'm glad I tried it. read more

Staffs are very nice. This place was pretty busy when we got there, but the service was fast. We ordered ube coconut pancakes and meat lovers omelette, they are both good and they put a lot of meat in the omelette. This place is clean. Will definitely go back. read more
This is a solid spot for breakfast if you're looking for something filling and delicious. The setup is you order at the counter first, pay, then grab a seat wherever you'd like and they bring the food out to you. So don't expect traditional table service, but honestly...it works fine for a casual breakfast. We tried a bunch of dishes and everything had it's pros and cons. The kids got the ube pancake and the strawberries and cream waffle and they were both tasty but more in the sweet side, as expected. The Kalua pork Benedict brought a nice Hawaiian twist to a brunch classic, and the soft shell crab omelet was surprisingly well-executed and my favorite dish. Pricing felt fair for what you get, especially given the quality and portion sizes. They also have Hawaiian coffee if you want togive that a try . They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can take your pick depending on the weather. Just remember this is a serve-yourself kind of place. You order, pay, sit, eat. If you need a lot of attention from servers, this might not be your jam, but if you're cool with low-key service and good food, it's definitely worth a visit. read more
Quick arrive you order at the counter and sit down and they bring the food to you. They were really nice and the Ube pancakes are amazinggggg 10/10 so good. I love the Ube flavor mixed with the coconut it was perfection if you love Ube. The chilaquiles were also super bomb. Flavorful and but they were a little soggy. The fitness omelette was also good but nothing crazy because it's just egg whites but they made it very well. The inside is nice nothing special. If you come here the ube pancakes are a must try 100%. read more
Aloha Stacks is a great spot for a quick and satisfying breakfast bite. The food is really good, and the setup is casual, you order at the counter, then find your own table. Just be ready to order when you get to the front of the line, as it moves pretty fast. We ordered the Spam Fried Rice, which was my favorite, super flavorful and delicious. We also tried the Loco Moco Poutine Fries with two over-easy eggs. It wasn't bad, but it could've used more loco moco sauce and meat on top. My daughter had the Chicken Curry, and the curry had a really nice flavor. I had a Hawaiian Iced Latte, which was really good, on the sweeter side and not too strong on the coffee. The orange juice tasted very fresh as well. Overall, a solid breakfast spot, and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu, everything sounds delicious! read more

I had driven past this place countless times and finally decided to give it a try. Since it's right by my house, I can honestly say I'll be back. I ordered the all-day hibachi with steak and fried rice, with a side of banana pancakes. The banana pancakes absolutely stole the show. They were hands down some of the best banana pancakes I've ever had. It's surprisingly difficult to find places that actually mix real banana pieces into the batter, but these did, and they were incredibly fluffy and practically melted in your mouth. I'll definitely be ordering them again. The fried rice was also really good and flavorful. The steak was probably my least favorite part of the meal. It wasn't bad, but I personally would have liked a little more seasoning. My friend ordered the crab omelet and said it was absolutely delicious, and the chai tea latte was a great addition to the meal. One thing that surprised me was the ordering process. I was expecting traditional table service, but instead you order at the counter when you walk in. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just different from what I expected. What did catch me off guard was being prompted to leave a tip before receiving any service. Maybe I'm old school, but in a counter-service setting, I'm not always sure what the tipping expectations are. The restaurant got very crowded shortly after we placed our order, and the line at the counter started to build up. It actually made me wonder whether having servers take orders at the table would help things flow a little more smoothly during busy periods. I'm not sure if it would make a difference, but it was something I found myself thinking about while watching the crowd grow. That said, the staff was friendly, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and it's easy to see why this place stays busy. They have a huge menu with tons of options, so there's something for everyone. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back. The banana pancakes alone are worth the return trip, and next time I'll be looking forward to trying more items from the menu. read more
It's been a minute since I've been here again and one thing I can definitely say is that it's a great little spot for some island comfort food. I was craving breakfast and going to Aloha Stacks satisfied it quite a bit. I ordered the loco moco with the hamburger patty and eggs over easy. It took a little bit for it to come out, which I'm fine with as it means it's being made fresh. The moment it came though. Boy was it delicious. It reminded me of the loco moco I would get whenever I visit Hawaii. The only knock was the gravy. It wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked. But other than that everything was great. read more
Came here to say I need to come back to try the other items on the menu! I was really wanting to try the Ube waffle....next time. Instead I tried their new item which is a breakfast croissant with egg, ham and cheese with side of potatoes. Not bad and it was filling. Parking was easy before 9am. Walk to the counter and order, pay and find your seat inside or outside. Service was quick and good for solo or big groups. Not too loud, just enough to hear a conversation with a friend. Will up the ratings next time. read more

Ube Pancakes | The pancakes are so pretty and such a surprise when they arrive, so vibrant! Haha! Purple, gooey, fluffy & delicious with every bite, as well as plentiful! I don't normally like coconut flakes, but with this dish, it absolutely works! Eggs | Fluffy & delicious! Note | This is the second location I've been to! It's also a super popular place, as there was a bit of a line, which went by quickly! Customer Service | Super friendly! Parking | Free & shared with other stores/restaurants nearby; easy breezy! Overall | Yes, please! Great customer service, fluffy, purple Ube pancakes & easy parking, it's a win! read more
This place was pretty decent. The seating was a little difficult because it is order first then find your own seats. But the staff were very helpful in helping us find a table for our party of 7. The food was yummy. The fried chicken was crispy and as expected. The cheese/sauce complimented the chicken and waffle well for a sweet savory taste. The ube pancake was my favorite. Was very soft and reminded me of mochi waffles a little bit, which I loved. The breakfast burrito is your very typical breakfast burrito and was hitting the spot and satisfied our craving for a breakfast burrito. The loco moco was a good yummy choice if you want something with rice. The sauce was really flavorful! I would definitely come back if in the area! read more

This restaurant has some of my least favorite things: ordering at the cash register before seating, congested parking, and somewhat tight seating. And despite those factors working against it, the food easily makes it a 5/5. My friend got the eggs and trio waffles and enjoyed it all. I got the kalua pork Benedict and ube pancake: Kalua pork Benedict's: eggs were perfect, pork serving was generous, and potatoes were pleasantly crispy. Perfect hearty meal to start the day. Ube pancakes: definitely on the sweeter side, but didn't need additional syrup. The creamy ube spread and coconut flakes did all the work and the top pancake soaked it up nicely while the bottom one picked up the overflowing topping on the sides. Must have to split. I'll definitely be back. Service was helpful and friendly. Even at 9am on a holiday weekend there was a line out the door and packed seating. We easily found outdoor seating and the line wasn't too long, but I'm sure later in the morning it gets worse. read more
Another Sunday, another Aloha brunch! I decided to get French toast, but was craving the banana nut taste. I'm glad to have discovered my new breakfast go-to order! The crab omelette was good, I do think there could be more crab meat. The iced ube latte was definitely hitting with the ube flavor. All in all, a delicious visit. read more
Aloha Stacks is a Hawaiian place in Cerritos mainly serving Hawaiian breakfast and lunch dishes. You will find macadamia nut pancakes, guava french toasts, kalua pork breakfast burritos, and loco mocos here. There was a lot that I wanted to try; however, my wife and I opted to get a loco moco ($14) with hamburger meat as our entree and I went with their Guava Toffee French Toast ($14). My wife got a cup of coffee for $4.25 and I got a cup of POG for $5. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meal and there are plenty of things here that we still would love to try. My french toast dish was interesting as they had a guava sauce over my french toast that was made crispy with a crust from ground down captain crunch cereal. It was creative. My wife's loco moco had a nice savoriness; however, I felt the rice to meat ratio was a little too heavy on the side of the rice. We came at peak time on a Saturday and they were very busy. You have to seat yourself and it wasn't easy. Most patrons in line ordered their food to go. Service was friendly; however, dining in wasn't the best experience. Food was served as soon as the kitchen plated the dishes, so there was a 10+ minute gap between when I got my french toast and my wife got her loco moco. I think there's definitely room for improvement in my rating, particularly if I try some of their other items. I would definitely come back in the future as they had some interesting things here; however, I'd plan to take it to go if I were coming in during peak hours on a weekend. read more
one of my best friends from high school back in FL came to visit LA for her birthday so I decided to treat her to Aloha Stacks! we ordered the kalua pork omelette with potatoes, then a guava toffee french toast with a side of bacon. the french toast was super good, just wish it had a little more of the sauce it comes with. the kalua pork omelette was also pretty good but it *also* needed a little extra of the chipotle sauce it comes with. there was a lot to eat so I ended up taking some of the leftover omelette to go lol. the inside of the place itself is okay, lots of tables and chairs. and the way you order is at the kiosk then they bring the food to you after. there's a restroom in the back and ample parking outside. read more
Amazing breakfast spot. I wish I was closer to this place since I would be a regular here. Would be my go to breakfast spot. Everything from the food to the service is excellent. They do have an all-day menu which I would try if I was in the area. Located in a large plaza with plenty of parking, this place is always busy. We came at 9am, and the line was to the door, which I noticed remained that way until we were finished eating. The line moves quick and food comes out very quick. You line up, order at the counter, find a seat, then they'll bring your food out to you. Seating is pretty limited indoors and outdoors so try not to be claim seats before ordering. The flow is efficient enough where you'll find seating right after you order. Staff is friendly and helpful. The kitchen is accommodating to requests Food is amazing. I've been wanting Hawaiian style breakfast for a while and this place hits the spot. You'll get plenty of protein options and flavors, Whatever you may be craving. We got the chicken katsu curry with over medium eggs. Trust me, it's an amazing breakfast option. The warm rice and curry on a cool morning with a cup of coffee is perfect. I do wish there was more curry though. I love mixing lots of curry with rice. It was a good portion as I kept half for dinner that night Breakfast burrito is also a solid choice. We got bacon as our protein (basice, I know), but you can choose from kalua pork, Portuguese sausage, etc. which we'll try next time. Lots of protein and eggs. Comes with a side of beans and chips. Chips a fresh and the beans had a lot of flavor. I think most people will recommend the ube pancakes, which look delicious, but we went with the guava toffee French toast. Highly recommend! Two large pieces of toast. Super crispy with the toffee and guava syrup all around. Delicious. I wanted more of the guava syrup to dip it in. Overall one of my favorite places that we've tried recently. I just wish I was close enough to try their whole menu. read more

Second time we are here and the food is still so good!!!! The Captain Mac Nut French toast was BOMB! We also had the spam fried rice again, but asked them to add veggies. So good with the added veggies...gave it some crunch and color and overall less salty flavor. The lavender vanilla latte is the best, but I sure wish they had coffee mugs instead of paper cups. This place is a bit pricey, but you get a heck of a portion size. The service is friendly but rushed. They are always super crowded and it feels super "fast food-ish". I'd love a full table service restaurant with this food on the menu! It would be awesome! read more

It was pretty good loco moco. The best one in California so far. The patty itself was good and the gravy was also good. Nice fluffy eggs. Service is good. You walk up to order, find a seat and they will bring it your table. It's nice and bright inside. Outside seating is available. Fountain soda is good and free water. 2 restrooms and the one I used could be a 1 bedroom apartment. Pretty clean too. I'll be coming back to try more of the menu. read more
It's been a few years since I last visited Aloha Stacks in Cerritos, but I'm glad I came back--the White Lava Banana Pancakes (a secret menu item!) did not disappoint. Perfectly fluffy, infused with bananas and topped with crunchy macadamia nuts and a rich "lava" sauce, they were so much better than I remembered. I almost forgot I was sharing with my husband. We also split the corned beef hash with extra crispy potatoes, and it was spot on--savory, hearty, and cooked exactly how we asked. Portions are generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. Service was good and efficient, which always makes a difference. It does get crowded during peak times, and you might have to prowl for tables, but they tend to open up pretty quickly. The restaurant has a modern island ambiance--bright, casual, and welcoming--making it a fun spot to enjoy a laid-back breakfast or brunch. The food here is BOMB. The ice mocha latte is.... It should be the standard for ice mochas. Their ice mocha latte is what I think of in my head whenever I order ice mocha anywhere, and I can never accept anything less. So chocolatey you forget it's coffee. The strawberry banana French toast are sweet, fruity and don't leave you feeling heavy or bloated which is so nice. Prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly. Seating can be an issue around 11am because they get crowded around that time which is expected when you got bomb ass food. Definitely recommend. read more
Stopped by this past Sunday around 10:30 for late breakfast. Lots of parking so found a spot fairly easy. This place was very popular, while parking I saw the line was already out the door! My boyfriend and I decided to order to Go to avoid the seating chaos of eating there. Although the line to place an order was out the door, the staff at the register was efficient because we were placing our order quickly. We ordered the brekkie tator tots to share ( saw the portion size on someone's table prior to ordering and was huge) . I also got a spam masubi myself. Like the short wait time during the AM rush, the time waiting for my to go order was quick! My food was ready in under 10 minutes. The spam masubi tasted as I expected and had some sort or sweet sauce on it. The brekkie tator tots came loaded with eggs, bacon, Portuguese Sausage and shredded cheddar cheese and some sort or cheese drizzle. Everything was delicious and the one order was more than enough for two people. Every staff I encountered was very friendly while waiting I stopped a couple in passing to ask questions about the menu while deciding what to get. Although they were busy they still were helpful to answer my question. Lots of seating inside and some outside, but due to their popularity seats were all filled. A go-to spot for me when I'm craving Hawaiian food/breakfast. It's a fast casual spot, and you have to order before you can claim your seat (which is fair!) I've enjoyed everything I've had from here, and my favorites are their waffles, chicken katsu, and kalua pork. I also really enjoy their Hawaiian latte. Service is always friendly. This place can get very busy on weekends. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and arrangements can be made to accommodate for larger parties. read more
Plenty of customer parking is really nice and by the looks of the crowd that came in Sunday, Aloha stacks sure did need it. The staff are nice and the food comes out quickly and hot. You basically order yourself at the counter then find a table to sit, they do hand you a number to place on the table so they can identify you. The servers who come are really nice and friendly. The food itself was good. My kalua pork omelet was ok, the macadamia nut waffle was ok but the nuts seemed old and rancit. My mom had the corned beef hash, eggs and rice (2 scoops) and she said it was really good. Me sister had the kalua pork chiliquilas and said it was good and had some good heat. Overall the prices were fair, food was good and service was great. Seating may be a little difficult so getting there earlier on a Sunday would be recommended. Came here for Sunday breakfast. I would recommend getting here before ten to beat the brunch crowd. It's self seating and the line at the counter is fairly quick. They have an extensive menu so tough decisions will be made. We ordered ube pancakes, captain mac nut, and blueberry n cream waffle for our mains. For sides, we got spam musubi, fried rice, and portuguese sausage. Ube Pancakes- As an ube girly, these are my favorite! The pancakes are soft and fluffy and the ube sauce is rich and creamy. Topped with coconut flakes that add a layer of texture. Captain Mac Nut- This is a nice crunchy french toast! You get a lovely crisp outside and light soft inside with a hint of macadamia flavor. Blueberry N Cream Waffle- The waffle was crispy outside with a soft interior. They give you a generous amount of blueberries and the whipped cream enhances the flavors. Spam Musubi- Such a classic! Meaty and savory spam meets fluffy rice. Enveloped with seaweed wrap. Fried Rice- This was nice and soft with a generous amount of fried garlic and onions. Perfectly seasoned and tasty. Portuguese Sausage- This is one of my favorite sausages. It's a perfect balance of savory with a hint of sweet. Pairs beautifully with fried rice. Great place for breakfast! read more
