So after contemplating whether or not to try planet subs I finally tried it on December 20th 2023 I got the turkey sandwich and barbecue chips and a Coke zero the prices were affordable the portions were great it's just that the bread didn't have much flavor and neither did the turkey meat or the rest of the sandwich I would come back again only to try something different hopefully getting much better results stay tuned for upcoming reviews on the next time I'm feeling brave

Great food - great people! The owners, husband & wife, we're enjoying lunch together as I walked in. They were kind and inviting, she bakes all the bread and had the sub out so quickly! This sandwich is soooooo good - fresh - warm! They even directed me where to find some great toys for my kiddos as I drove through Tucson! So grateful that I stopped here for lunch... and even got to experience community

Stopped in while getting tires at Wal-Mart, easy walk across parking lot. Warm Welcome as soon as we entered, followed by some baseball talk which is always welcomed (I had on NATS WS Shirt). Ordered the "Experience" (1/2) and Wife ordered "Superhero" 1/2 Combo. I did a water & was given a full size cup which is always nice. My Sandwich was delicious, never had anything like it so it was an Experience, a good one !!! Bread was toasted just right and the sandwich flavor was different in a good way. Definitely enjoyed it. Between the sandwich & sharing my wife's chips was full, and still capable of moving-LOL. I had a couple bites of my wife and hers was also delicious. Bathrooms were immaculate, and the seating area was spacious and also very clean We were asked several times how was everything, and our trash was even removed as we sat & talked. While sitting there listened to the banter between customers & staff which was nice to see the relationship, seemed like Cheers. Will be back !!!

Very fresh and delicious subs! They make the bread fresh daily and you can see it being made in the background. Very nice dine in sports themed place. The subs are huge for a good price. They los the ingredients and meat. I wasn't expecting much but was really surprised on my first bite. If you're in the mood for a good quality sub, i recommend to come here for a taste above.

I've been here twice now and I give it 5 stars! I've only had "the experience" and it is so so good. If you are in the Tucson Marketplace area I encourage you to go!!! Apparently they make their dough from scratch! They have one of those Coke Machines where you can choose from like 100 different drinks! It's a nice little place and the cashiers have only ever been professional when I've gone!

However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

It is a nice setup if you are with a group and everyone wants something different. I ordered the Butcher Burger and it was really good. The burger itself was massive and cooked well. The bun was a little oversized for the burger, but honestly it did not take away from it. I only made it through about half before I was full. The fries were awesome. Crispy, well seasoned, and a perfect side to go with the burger. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes you get. It's only halfway through 2026, but I already know this will make my Top 5 restaurants of the year…read more It brings me such joy to happily pay for food that truly deserves its price tag - and I'd gladly pay more. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!

This place is located in an artsy / entertainment district close to downtown. When we went, there was road construction nearby that made getting here more challenging. Once we located it, the next challenge was parking. We visited around noon on a Saturday. There are no large parking lots, so you have to find something on-street. We ventured a couple of blocks off the main street and found something. However, the signage wasn't really clear on whether you had to pay on weekends or not. We accessed the parking app via a QR code, but it told us that our space 'was not available', despite the fact that we were in the space. A guy leaving the space next to us confirmed that parking *was* free on weekends, so we trusted that and walked to the restaurant. In retrospect, I think the app meant that we did not need to pay, but 'not available' seems a bit vague for that... The restaurant is located on a strip of old storefronts that now house restaurants, record shops, etc. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic out front, including a homeless guy asking for change. The atmosphere was sort of a loud, slightly cramped dive bar. I don't mean that in a bad way, but that was the vibe. The music was loud - none of it was familiar but I didn't hate it. I guess my point is that if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch, this is probably not it. We initially were offered a table on their covered patio. We left one person there while sorting out parking, but when we came back they had a booth inside so we grabbed that instead. The patio seemed shaded and semi-comfortable, other than a loud barking dog. We browsed the menus and ordered our food. We all got half-and-half combos (soup/salad or sandwich/soup). The only issue was that the soups came in a bread bowl. I was able to finish my soup, but felt bad about not eating more of the bowl. If I'd had the option, I would have gotten a plastic bowl. The salad was pretty big, despite being only half. I finished most of it. We ended up having sufficient leftovers from others such that we took them back to our hotel (a relatively short drive) and finished them the next evening. All the food was tasty. This wasn't what I was expecting, but I'd consider eating here again given the right circumstances / group.

When first entering it's a very small booths and bar but if you continue down the hall past the bathrooms they have a big open outside/indoor patio seating area! Great if you have kids or pets with you So the food. Honestly some of the best sandwiches I've ever had Their combo with the bread bowl and half a sandwich is hard to beat to be honest. A little bit of both worlds there I recommend eating the bread bowl first because it's more filling that you think and you can take the sandwich home They have a wide range of options for everyone And even offer a picky kid friendly sandwiches like PB & J, might sound boring or normal but that was the best PB & J I've ever had The staff is very nice and helpful They run the bar also and will bounce between the bar and your table So if the bar is busy I'm sure it could take a bit for you to order at your table Great food Great environment And friendly people Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and we were greeted right away by a friendly server who helped us get settled. My husband was starving, so we placed our order as soon as we sat down, and the food arrived within 15-20 minutes. The service throughout the evening was outstanding. Our water glasses were kept full, and our server checked on us regularly without being intrusive. We started with the smoked beets, which were absolutely incredible. I'll honestly be thinking about that dish for days! We also ordered the seafood platter with shrimp, crab claws, oysters, and three slices of sashimi. Everything on the platter was fresh and beautifully prepared. The oysters and sashimi were rich, creamy, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The steak frites was another standout. I was pleasantly surprised to see it featured picanha steak. It was packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and incredibly tender. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience with great food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to come back!

There is now a sidewalk sandwich board which is helpful. This establishment cannot decide if it wants to be a butcher shop or a fine dining restaurant. It does both...to mixed results. It's the classiest butcher shop I have ever been in, and the most schizo restaurant, bar none. I would not bring a date here. 3 stars. Service-I walked in yesterday to look at a menu for lunch. Was not greeted after standing around for almost 10 minutes. I left without food. 1 star Food-Have gotten sausage, steak and lamb here in the past. Their cold case stands out. Good selection. The merguez, breakfast and brats that i had purchased all had good flavor and mouthfeel, but were unfortunately, extremely salty. Forbes is very expensive as well, compared to other butcher shops around Tucson, beef jerky is 40/lb. 2 stars
