Oysters and artichoke
Emma D.

Had a great experience at Miramonte . The food was delicious. The service was excellent! Highly recommend the artichokes. We also got a couple orders of fish and chips, which were fantastic. I can't wait to come back here. I can't stop thinking about the artichokes.

What a solid experience from start to finish! It makes such a difference--especially when dealing with food allergies--when the waitress knows every ingredient in each dish without having to run back to the kitchen. That level of knowledge and confidence immediately put us at ease. Service was excellent all around. The cast iron cornbread is an absolute must. It's incredible--but be warned, you'll want at least four people to help tackle it! I may have gone a little overboard because by the time our fish and chips arrived, I was nearly full. The fish was light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The fries came out slightly cold, but they happily replaced them with a fresh, hot batch right away. My wife really enjoyed the coleslaw (not usually my thing), and even though we were stuffed, we couldn't resist ordering the Baked Alaska. That toasted marshmallow exterior over ice cream and sponge cake was the perfect sweet finish--delicious and beautifully done. Huge portions, great prices, a beautiful atmosphere, comfortable seating, and drinks, appetizers, entrées, and dessert all for under $100. I honestly can't say enough good things about this dinner. Definitely a must-stop spot!

Pro tip: You can use your Amex Platinum or Gold Resy benefit, which will automatically apply even if you did not make a reservation on Resy. Food: 10/10. I had the pan seared salmon with capers on a bed of spinach and mashed potato. Perfectly done and a nice thick cut of salmon. For dessert, I had their signature Key Lime pie, which did not disappoint. Service: Excellent. Ambiance: classy. Last note: I am truly flummoxed by the sub-4 stars on Yelp. This restaurant has a much higher rating on the Resy app, and I would absolutely eat here again. The place was busy and had a lot of well dressed people in it. Very vibey spot.

A coworker recommended this place and I'm glad I listened. Nice clean modern designs in a prime location. Make reservations because this place fills up fast! I ordered the onion rings, cornbread and filet. Trust me don't leave here without trying the cornbread! Hatch green Chile with jack cheese and sweet corn topped with honey butter in a cast iron. My southern heart and taste buds were pleased. Filet was cooked to temp. Medium paired nicely with the blue cheese topping and whipped mashed potatoes. My service Karly was awesome. Truly attentive, personable and kind. Next time I'll ask to be sested by the fire place or on their beautiful patio

Miramonte is a stylish, dressed-up spot that serves casual food prepared really well. I stopped in with friends on a Saturday night to catch the end of the UofA game and grabbed a drink. They have a solid selection of drinks good beer, wine, and spirits. And if the onion rings were any indication of the rest of the menu, the food is going to be excellent. The breading was flavorful and fried perfectly. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had a good experience with the staff. Definitely worth checking out.

The Responsible Refresher mocktail tasted just like a shandy

Our party of seven had a blast last night at Miramonte, with tasty cocktails and mocktails, the phenomenal cornbread (talk about eating dessert first!), great food and an awesome nightlife vibe. The bar is absolutely beautiful. I do have to agree with other reviews about the noise factor, but it will not stop me from returning! Excellent service, and of course the best of company rounded out a great night...and weekend leftovers.

Excellent service and great food! The ribs were fall off the bone exactly as described. The onion dip is a great appetizer to start. Ordered the beet mock tail and added vodka- amazing and refreshing!

We had a table in the bar area which is close to the 2 big screen TV and the bar. We ordered mostly appetizers and our favorite was the cornbread. It was cooked in an iron skillet with a big dollop of butter and crispy outside and moist inside. We shared an order of fish and chips and substituted onion rings for fries. Overall it was a good meal.

Great service, great staff and tasty food and drinks. I love the vibe. There was a low hum of chatter coupled with jazz music. All the wait staff were friendly and interesting to talk with while I had food and drink at the bar. The 50/50 martini was tasty and clean tasting the way a martini should and extra yummy because of the blue cheese stuffed olives. I had the fish and chips. They didn't skimp on the portions. The fish was tasty, meaty and the beer batter was light and crispy. The tartar sauce was classic and the chips were still crispy even though they were the bed for the fish. Unpretentious and a great hang out spot in my neighborhood.

A beautiful modern space for lunch or dinner. I like the vibes and decor of the place but the echos of all the chatter were loud and distracting. I'm hoping the acoustics can somehow be fixed because I came before it was busy and I can't imagine how it would be during peak. I noticed that the hostess took calls outside. Our server was great and attentive. Food was enjoyable and the drink menu is extensive. I got the elderflower mocktail and it tasted fresh and lovely. For food, I started with the ahi tuna tartare and had the pan seared salmon. Everything was tasty. One minor thing was that the beurre blanc had the consistency and look of melted butter (looks like the butter separated) and it pooled around the potatoes. I ended up eating around it.

First time here. Came with a group of six people. Modern field ambience, which was a classy. Separate bar section rooms were also available for large groups a good variety of entrées and starter appetizers We ordered a cornbread, which was absolutely out of this world and would highly recommend. Since there were six of us, several entrées were selected. I had the Baby Back Ribs which were phenomenal and fish of the day was great which I believe was swordfish. We had one vegetarian in the group who had no problem. Finding an entrée would highly recommend this restaurant which is located in Midtown Tucson.

Love the vibe. Love the staff. Most of the food and menu is wonderful. Had the steak tartar. The tartar was excellent. The bread served with it was a total fail. Made no sense how it was cooked and sliced. Neither worked. But the tartare was great. The oysters and how they were served was very satisfying. The fish and chips were a winner. Nice cocktails and nice choices.

Had lunch at this new spot, and it is a nicely designed restaurant. I love the look and feel of the bar especially very clean modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I ordered the grilled fish of the day which was swordfish and coleslaw. The reason I gave a 4 star is just for this, the swordfish was server over the coleslaw, which caused the fish to taste like the coleslaw sauce. I would have preferred it to be on the side and not on top, but maybe someone would like it that way. We also had the ahi tuna app which was amazing with wonton chips. The chicken under a brick with kale and panzanella was very flavorful and the chicken under was cooked amazingly. The fish and chips was very good as well. I will be back to try lunch or dinner again for sure. As usual go out and give them a try, it is worth it.

Our sever was prompt and very attentive. We order a zero proof drink (the Sunset on Sentinel) and the NA beer they had available. We skipped right to the main course since we had a quick turnaround. I went with the beef short rib ravioli and my husband had the fish and chips. We enjoyed some complimentary bread and oil as a little app before dinner came out. The ravioli was so flavorful (maybe a tiny bit too much cream sauce on the plate) - it was delicious. The fish came out crispy and perfectly battered, and flaky and moist inside. We would definitely come back next time we're in town and spend a little more time enjoying a full meal. We had a great experience.

Still yummy and very friendly service Ordered: Roasted Beet Chop salad: totally got the flavor intent but really wet greens and over-dressed. Brocollini was a little oily but othewise, the entree for sure delivered. Will be back to try other parts of the menu but the seafood selection was lacking that day and even the server told us they preferred the smoked fish over fresh... Cheers, Wildflower!

That whole St. Philip's area always has a great energy, and UPH is a big part of that. There's usually a crowd, live music or sports on, and it feels like one of those places where you can bring friends from out of town and know it'll be a fun time. Food is consistently solid. The grilled chicken sandwich is my go-to and it's good every time. We both usually get one, and a lot of the time we'll add buffalo wings, which are some of our favorites in Tucson. Good flavor, good texture, and always reliable. If anything, the wings could always use a little more sauce, but they're still one of the better orders on the menu. The only real issue, and it happens pretty often, is the service speed. Everyone there is friendly, but the place always feels understaffed, especially when it's busy. We've had multiple times sitting outside in the Arizona heat where it takes 15-20 minutes just to get water to the table, and you start wondering if you should go up to the bar yourself to get things moving. Once service gets going everything is fine, but getting that first round of attention can take longer than it should for how often this place fills up. Even with that, we keep coming back. The food is consistent, the atmosphere is great, and the plaza has a real sense of community that makes it easy to hang out there for a while. It's one of our go-to spots in Tucson, and it's still somewhere we bring friends when they're visiting. Food 7.5 Ambience 8 Service 7 Price 7 7.4 overall C Great place to spend time, just don't expect everything to happen quickly when it's busy.

What I also enjoy: The breakfast food sticks to the basics, but is done well. They make surprisingly decent pizzas, if you're in the mood for that. As with everything else in the surrounding plaza, it gets busy and there's often some sort of event out front, usually a market or live music. You should drop by while the weather is still perfect!

I'm glad I went with my gut because it truly was delicious! It was a great portion, and I really like that the crunchy parts were tostada-like. My friend got the Korean pork sandwich with fries, and she liked her meal too. I do consider myself a french fry, connoisseur, and at first glance, I didn't think much of their fries. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't your typical sit-down dinner spot. The lighting is cool, there's a live DJ, and yes--it is loud.
