I usually love dining at the restaurants at Starr Pass. This experience was not the greatest considering the price and atmosphere. We were seated outside on the patio. We arrived when it was still daylight out and over 75 degrees outside. The hostess who sat us immediately started lighting the heater next to us. When I asked her not to because it was almost 80 degrees outside she told me the other table requested it. She didn't offer to move us away from the heater when all other tables on the patio were open (there were only two parties outside, including us). It was strange and also very warm for us. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and when I say they were some of the smallest meatballs I ever saw, I'm not exaggerating. Imagine the bagged meatballs you buy from the grocery store when making crock pot bbq meatballs- that was the size and it comes with 3. Definitely not worth the price. But the flavors were good. I also ordered the chicken parm and it was delicious. The portion was also generous and made up for the meatballs. I was very happy with that dish. Finally, I ended with a slice of tiramisu which was also very yummy. When we finished our desserts, we waited over a half hour for the waiter to come back with the bill, but he never did. One of us went inside to ask for the bill and the hostess told us our waiter would be right there. The waiter did show up again but only to take two orders (there were two other tables seated at this time, which made us the third table outside now). He didn't acknowledge our table or say he'd be right back with the check. We even tried to get his attention, but he hurried back inside quickly without acknowledging us. All of us got up and walked to the hostess for our bill and we still had to wait a few more minutes for the waiter to show up with it. There was no acknowledgment of the wait for our bill and nothing was done to make sure everything was good with us. It was treated as if we were still sitting at the table and everything was fine. It was a strange experience for how nice the restaurant appears. Although the food had great flavor, I would not recommend. I would have given it more stars of the service was better.

Such a beautiful atmosphere! So elegant! We were the first to arrive when they opened. It quickly filled up, so reservations are advised. They had a huge variety of food. The wait staff were knowledgeable and so nice, really went above and beyond. Would make a great date night! Their serving sizes are HUGE! So you may want to split with someone else at the table or arrive really really hungry!!!

We had the good fortune of visiting Passagio this last weekend for our anniversary. Years ago when this was Primo we had our 1 year anniversary there and a few others. It was one of our favorite places in Tucson. This year as a reconnection to those prior anniversaries we decided to try Passagio, and it exceeded our expectations. First, we were very lucky to find ourselves at the same table of our first anniversary. While we did pay the $20 to make sure we had a window seat, we did not know which one we would get and we got "our corner". The extra cost was worth it to us for a special events. The decor is now more Italian than French, but just as relaxed and elegant. The staff were amazing. Our waitress, Maria, was extraordinary. She was excited that we were having our anniversary there and was gracious and celebratory. She actually had several tables with special events and she treated everyone with the same joy and dedication. We even took pictures with different groups of us. The food also held up to our expectations. We had the bruschetta to start. All were delicious but we loved the pear and Gorgonzola. It was sweet and tart. Next we had a Kale salad and a Beet Salad. Again, the preparation for each was perfect. The kale was prepared correctly so it was easy to eat and the beets were fresh. The flavors were well balanced, nothing was over dressed, you could taste the actual salad, and everything was fresh. For the main course we had the Venison and the Scollop pasta. The venison melted in your mouth and the herbs and greens brought a freshness to the dish. Squid ink pasta can get chewy and rubbery as can Scollops. Both were wonderfully prepared. The scollops also melted in our mouths and the pasta was perfectly aldente and paired nicely with the scollops. Finally, we shared the hazelnut and chocolate desert with caramel gelato. I am not a big fan of chocolate so I loved the added hazelnut and the caramel gelato was something I could not stop eating. Just enough salt to make you want more. My spouse loves chocolate and found it a celebration of chocolate. For drinks, they had a nice selection of Scotch which is our go to drink. The wine list paired nicely with the meal, and I tried their version of an old fashioned which was perfectly balanced and beautiful tonloo Overall, the meal, the service, the ambiance were all excellent. The chef and team have done an excellent job of establishing themselves as a well respected fine dining addition to the Tucson scene.

Great Mediterranean steakhouse inside the JW Marriott Star Pass. Wanted pizza for dinner but their brick oven was broken so opted for their rib eye. Oh La La!! Well seasoned and the truffle butter added a nice enhancement. And the star of the night was their Caesar salad with anchovies. It was simple but the anchovy elevated it. Overall it was a nice dining experience and will definitely come back!

Beautiful restaurant on site. Our server was super sweet and even offered to give us dessert when she accidentally got one of our entrees wrong. Chef also sent over a nice surprise of blueberry mousse with pistachio which sounded strange but was SO good! Food was delicious and fresh ingredients from the hotel garden are pointed out on the menu. Beautiful views of the resort grounds through the huge glass window walls. We preferred this over their other restaurant for sure.

do yourself a favor and be sure to come to this restaurant. talk about feeling elegant and classy - this restaurant is one of a kind. although we came here just for a late night dessert, i can't wait to come back to tucson and try the other food. from the ambiance, to the kitchen views, and smells - it's fantastic. my boyfriend and i ordered the tiramisu and the raspberry lemon cake. the raspberry lemon cake was the perfect spongy, moist texture and the mascarpone and ice cream only enhanced the flavor profile. the tiramisu was unique and different than previous tiramisu i've had; served in a beautiful glass, layered to perfection and topped with the most delicious cookie crumbles. highly recommend both desserts! our server was very kind and made the experience even better. we will be back for sure! thank you, passaggio!

What an amazing experience! The servers, the atmosphere & the FOOD!!! Hands down, the most amazing part of our trip to Arizona. Thank you for the memories.

The stacked chocolate mousse spectacular Chef Ken, pastry chef Marlene Nd the wait staff did a fantastic job. Thank you to each of them.

EXCELLENT in all 3 categories. There were 5 there for the first time. The appetizers were incredible from asparagus frites, to mesquite smoked bread focaccia , to meatballs to Bruschetta 3 ways. Each one was outstanding. There was one porcini crusty filet cook to perfection, one excellent Branzino fish, one brazed short rib dinner with gnocchi, & 2 shrimp Cacio e Pepe. Every dish was delicious. For dessert we all had the pastry chef's evening speciality was a very special evenjng. Everyone agreed we would all come back and bring others.

We were visiting family and we were recommended this spot! It's hard to find if you just look it up…read moreon google maps, you have to check their IG to see where they're at. They were definitely worth the drive! Anytime I'm trying out a new coffee place I tend to ask a lot of questions about their menu because every shop is so different. The man at the window was very patient and helpful. I decided to go with their unique drink called the "Snake Bite". It was amazing, I have never had anything liked it. The barista said it was a blend of their tea and espresso. Their other drinks appeal to the customers that like their drinks on the sweeter side. My husband got their Aztec mocha and it was delicious, sweet but not overly sweet. Overall, they're a small coffee truck that does it all! I'll definitely come back whenever we visit.

Calle came to this apartment earlier in the year and they were great. I was very happy to hear they were coming again as was my girlfriend. Needless to say, I will never be coming back and I will be strongly suggesting that Calle coffee not be invited back. Be better. Support the many other coffee joints that Tucson has to offer.
